This is not a remix but added in details to fit in with a new style of writing and to add in some story consistency. The rest of the chapters will be edited in with new changes. Sorry if you were hoping this is an update but I will put in new chapters soon.

Disclaimer: I have no rights to Darksiders and Kingdom Hearts. Like I could ever come up with the batshit insanity Nomura has with the latter.

It had been a while since the MCP had been dealt with and Tron becoming the new AI for the system. They still kept up the patrols for a while in an effort to keep the people of Radiant Garden (the forgotten true name of the world) safe. The repairs are going along much more smoothly since then. By a rough estimate, they could be able to finish up the repairs and get the world back to it's former, beautiful state that it was over a decade ago. Once no one would be able to pull Heartless from the Dark Realm again, they can be done in about a year.

Still though, they shouldn't rush things. Doing a rush job can cause accidents and they can't afford accidents. And though there isn't a lot of Heartless around, there are still Nobodies. And they could slip through to cause trouble.

Learning that the leader of the world wasn't the one who caused the near end of the world years ago, but an imposter that had been using his name, was…unsettling. To say the least.

It didn't change the fact that their leader's research is what caused the mess in the first place. But lamenting about the past is not the way to go forward either. Life has to move on, and so do they. Restoring their world to its previous glory is a must.

(Even though, deep down, they know it won't fully erase the scars. Cover them up, yes, but not fully erase them.)

The relatively peaceful day was interrupted when a meteor flew in from the sky and crashed into the ground near the city. It caught the attention of those patrolling. Leon had rushed off towards the impact sight. Rushing through parts of the city, he arrived at his destination in a span of a few minutes. To his surprise, he found a pod made of Gummi blocks…and slumped over on the ground, after getting out of the pod, were the Court Magician and Captain of the Royal Guard, Donald and Goofy. There are the chipmunks too but…

Leon looked around, alarmed that he couldn't find the third member of this goofy trio.

The lone human and resident Keyblade user, Sora.

He rushed over to Donald, picking him up. "Donald! What happened?"

Donald groaned, opening his eyes. "Heartless…ambush. Sora…in different pod…" he slumped his head forward.

Leon felt his blood freeze upon hearing this. The Heartless had attacked their ship…and Sora is in a different pod. Out there, somewhere, all alone.

(He's just a kid… a DAMN kid. No child should have to go through this!

This is why he questioned why the Keyblade had to go and choose someone so young. Why make someone who is still in middle school save the universe? Why him?)

"Leon? Leon!" He heard Yuffie call out as she arrived. "What happened?"

Leon snapped himself out of it, acting quickly. "Yuffie, we need to get them to Aerith!"

"Wait, what about Sora?"

"I don't know," Leon said with a grim look. He picked up Donald, looking to Yuffie. "But these two need help right now This is all we can do."

The girl's eyes were wide, shifting to Donald, then Goofy, then the pod before she looked to him. "…I hope they'll give us the full story later," she muttered.

"Me too, Yuffie," Leon nodded, handing Donald to Yuffie. "Me too."

Nearly one hundred years had passed since the uprising.

Weakened to the point that a flimsy prison had kept him abound.

Surely, this has to be Lucifer's work. It wasn't the first time he had interfered with the lives of humanity after all. Corrupting them from mindless beings those that have the knowledge to destroy themselves when the time comes.

…Or, as he had observed over time, have them 'learn' from their own vices and become nothing more than what others had said about them.

He will say, it was a cunning plan.

Samael is no fool. While the offer WAS tempting at best, and he had paid for the rejection via being attacked by Moloch, he thought it was worth more to observe and watch what would happen. Sitting back and analyzing Lucifer's actions. Using the Horsemen as a means to see what the Deceiver is doing was…less than honorable. But however it ended, it forged the ancient pact that is related to all three kingdoms. Lucifer had gotten humanity involved by tainting them with a corruption that gave birth to sins, which were then drawn away to make the Seven Deadly Sins that would influence humanity in the years to come.

Yet the events of a hundred years ago was…interesting at best. He may be able to see all, yet he could still be taken by surprise by a lot of things. Death arriving from the distant future for the Key to the Tree of Life, right up until the uprising by the Destroyer. He does not know of the identity – yet – but he has his suspicions. Abaddon, though, truly was a fool at the end of the day. Something had leaked his plan to Lucifer and Lilith, leading up to the faux End War that had occurred. And the Red Rider was framed for causing the event. He never expected the Charred Council to use their own enforcers like that.

There were a few things he didn't expect, really. He knew better than to put up a fight. He knew he was no match; he would be easily overpowered. Even stripped him of most of his powers. Now he's locked up on the ruined Earth.

For all he sees and could perceive, there were things he did not expect. He is just amused on how, one by one, the Councils' 'dogs' are breaking free of their leashes. Just one remained. Ironic that it's the one they had 'accused'. All so that they could find the identity of the conspirators that caused humanity's downfall. Or rather, that caused the mess out of misguided fear.

Humanity were pitiful creatures. Weak yet surprisingly resilient creatures. Born with the gift that had many fear them. Samael merely wonders if the Charred Council fears those they could not control. For all the talk of upholding the balance, they are no different from the rest. The thought nearly made a smirk form at the irony.

The demon then sensed something…amiss. He raised his head before he looked up to the ceiling of his prison. "A breach…? Through the barrier?" He rubbed his 'beard' in intrigued. "An outsider had broken through…?" As he sensed it out…he grew even more intrigued. "No. Not an outsider. From this world, long ago?"

Hm. Interesting. Very, VERY interesting.

Samael grinned nastily. "Now THIS…will be interesting…"

Yes. Let's see what the young outsider would do…

~o~

To some, an unnoticeable bleep.

To others, something of intrigue. But only a VERY select few had sensed it. Something that had never happened before in the 40,000 years since the pact was forged.

Almost as if…it HIDE them.

For better or for worse, the new visitor will be experiencing actual hell.

And the wheels of fate, that had been locked for a while, turns once more…

The Timetable for this…

Darksiders 3 took place ten years after the premature End War occurred. War would still be in recovery at this time but would be delirious and mutter to Fury about something 'not right'. At the same time after War's imprisonment, Death embarked to the Crowfather's Keep to find a way to prove War's innocence. Other than Strife's brief appearance at the end of Darksiders 3, no one knows where he is at the moment. Darksiders 2 is said to canonically flow during the one hundred years War was imprisoned. It's speculated on WHEN the ending occurred, however.

War would be entirely unaware of the whereabouts of his brothers in arms, as he won't come out of his healing sleep until a few days before he's sent back to Earth.

(Meaning, some people are going to withhold information about them from him…at least, not while a certain thing is attached to him.)
