"Blair I need to go to my mom's house she's expecting me I can't imagine sorry. " The blonde said genuinely reaching for the leather handle inside the taxi door. Her heels making a familiar distinct sound with every step she took towards the door. "Hey Vanya!" she greeted with a smile on her face watching the numbers slowly decrease on the metal panel.
"Hello Miss Serena." The young man replied mutely. The blonde gave him a small nod before taking a step into the elevator. A small buzz came from the inside of her black handbag. "Hey Nate" "Serena where are you?" He asked from the other line frazzling the blonde. "Nate, I'm at my mom's can i call you back?" she said whilst she hung up on him.A small ding welcomed her into her home, The doors opened and she was greeted by Nate and another familiar figure. "Dad! What are you doing here?!" she yelled in shock whilst she wrapped her arms around the older man. "Hey sweetie I was just in town for a meeting, thought i would swing bye and check up on everything." He said in a reserved tone "How are you?" He smiled as they shared their first tender moment since he left. "She's been fine for the past 15 years." Nate snorted whilst keeping eye contact with the man who was now visibly uncomfortable.
"Nate can I speak to you upstairs?" she asked angrily "Alone." The boy sheepishly agreed as she motioned for them to step inside her dead stepfather's study. "What did you want to tell me in Bart bass' study?" He questioned with a confused expression as neither of them had even been inside here before. "Nate he's my dad, what do you think your doing." She sighed as she the brunette shook his head slowly. "Serena, I'm trying to protect you, I don't trust him and neither should you." The boy was getting antsy and took a step toward the blonde. "Why?!" she said defensively before quickly adding "He's my father Nate, I have never asked you to not trust your parents" she was turning red. "There's a difference Serena my dad didn't leave one night when i was 4 and randomly come back 15 years later, not to mention he never called or texted you ever." The blonde was fighting the urge to leave the room because she was going to be a mom soon and she needed to start and act like one. Tears trickled down her cheeks as she collapsed onto a nearby chair "Maybe we aren't cut out to be parents, this kid deserves so much better then me as a mom."
The couple locked eyes whilst the door let out a small creak. "Eric?" The couple said in unison. "How much of that did u hear?" the blonde said taking control. "pretty much everything after you started crying." Eric responded confused "Wait, Serena are you-" he stared at the room when the blonde cut him off. "Pregnant, you can say it Eric" she snorted out.
"Serena who else knows?" Her younger brother asked carefully.
"Blair and dorota." she said wondering if her best friend would keep her mouth shut.
"I didn't tell Chuck so how does Blair know?" He asked confused "Hold on Dorota? I knew you to were close but I didn't know you were that close."
"Relax Nate, Blair found out with me at the doctor and Dorota just walked in with my laundry at the wrong time." The blonde casually added.
"And when was I going to find out about this little secret?" Eric asked locking eyes with his older sister
"That doesn't matter the point is you found out and you're going to keep your mouth shut, Understood." Serena directed placing her thumbs up.
"Where are you going?" Nate asked completely sure of the answer. "Nathaniel, I'm going to find some pretty woman and play with them I suggest you do the same." Chuck smirked the signature Bass smirk before pouring a glass of scotch.
"I can't man did you forget about Serena" Nate said defensively then changed to a serious tone."Hey, I forgot to tell you, I'm going to be a father" Chuck spat out his drink. "What?" chuck asked "Did you cheat on Serena? I never took you for that type Nathaniel."
"What? No, Serena's pregnant." The brunette boy eyed his full glass before Chuck snorted "The two of your parents? Nathaniel you are freshly 19 and serena is still 18, do you really think this will work out?"
The boy just shrugged, "Well we are going to have to make it work then because it's 8 months away."
The phone rang twice before chuck answered. "Hello Serena, I just found out about your dirty secret." He said making a visual in his head.
"That's great chuck" The blonde rolled her eyes, "can the two of you meet us at Sant Ambroeus in 15 minutes I made a reservation under Van Der Woodsen."
"How do you know I'm free Serena, I'm a very busy man." He said standing very still. The blonde snapped "Chuck I am a raging hormonal woman do you really want to argue right now?" The black-haired boy groaned before the golden girl added "Okay bye we'll see you soon!" the whole phrase gritting with very blatant fake enthusiasm.
"Hi my friends made a reservation under Van Der Woodsen." Nate said as he was scanning around the room for a particular blonde until his friend tapped him on the shoulder, "What's Blair doing here?" chuckled whispered as the two of them walked to the 'Van Der Woodsen' table.
"What are you doing here Bass?" the brunette questioned whilst making a disgusted face. "I enjoy watching you squirm Blair, it comforts me." He said with a smile on his face.
"Will the two of you stop!" Serena Motioned for the boys to sit down "We have some things to discuss."
"We wanted to tell you in person, we're having twins!" The blonde said with a giant smile on her face causing everyone's jaws to hang on the floor. "guys don't look at me like that it was a joke."
"Jesus Serena." The duo said in unison, each of them trying to sneak looks at the other.
"Okay bye guys my job here is done." Serena said telling Nate to standup and leave.
"Serena you don't seriously except Chuck and I to have dinner together" Blair asked masking her laughter with disgust.
"I do, and to help you two out Big John and Lenny will we watching the two of you until 9pm" The blonde said letting out her smirk.
