Thanks for the love last chapter. I'll try to get the next chapter out faster, I've just been lazy on my typing.

Brittany has Santana take her to some of the sights in Southern California during the day but they have sex all night. When they come back from their honeymoon, they both feel like they need a break after their honeymoon since they didn't get any rest. Maria does have a surprise for them. She had the family set up the spare room in the apartment as a nursey. Santana ends up having to go back to work the day she returns to help deal with some rival gun dealers. She doesn't like leaving Brittany, but thankfully Maria offers to stay with Brittany while Santana is gone. She's a very dotting wife. Giving Brittany everything and anything she could need. Brittany has continued to work though she did take an extra week off after the honeymoon. Santana wishes she wouldn't but isn't going to deny her wife anything. Brittany loves that she's now a Lopez and officially part of the family. Every Sunday is family dinner where the whole family gets together at the Lopez mansion. She loves it even more now since she's now a Lopez even though she's keeping her last name.

"Not long now." Brittany tells Santana, one morning, rubbing her very pregnant belly.

"A few more weeks according to Doctor Sue." Santana says placing her hands on her wife's belly.

"Do you have to go out today?" Brittany asks even though she knows the answer.

She's been very clingy the last few weeks, not wanting Santana to leave. Some of it is her hormones but some is her not wanting Santana to miss the birth.

"Yes, how about I have my mom come over." Santana suggests.

She hates leaving Brittany alone especially so close to her due date.

"Okay, is your dad going to be with you? I hate when you go alone." Brittany says wrapping her arms around Santana.

"I come back one time with a few scraps and bruises and you never are going to let me forget it." Santana says kissing her deeply.

"You had two bullet grazes." Brittany sternly says.

"No, but José is going with me." Santana says pulling away from Brittany.

"Good, we need you whole and healthy." Brittany says rubbing her very pregnant belly.

"And I will be." Santana says kissing her before heading out.

To Mami: I need you to come over with Britt.

From Mami: Okay, I'll head over now.

To Mami: Thanks

Santana feels better with leaving her wife now knowing her mom will be there. She meets José outside the club.

"Hey sis, you ready?" José asks.

"Yeah, just worried about leaving Britt. She could give birth anytime and I don't want to miss it." Santana says slightly distracted.

"She isn't due for a few weeks though? No one would make you work if she was due." José says.

"True, but the doctor said it isn't uncommon for first pregnancies to come a few weeks early." Santana says.

"Well, if you get a text then you should go. I can handle everything." José tells her.

"Thanks bro," Santana says. "Though once we start, we'll need to turn off our phones."

The pair head into the club to shake down the owner who has been stealing business from them.

Across town, Mario is dropping Maria off at Brittany and Santana's apartment.

"Take care and call if either of you needs something." Mario says.

"Don't you have a meeting with some business owners? I don't want to disturb that." Maria says.

"I do, but you two are more important plus San and José's job will make it harder to connect them once they start." Mario says blowing her a kiss before heading out.

Maria heads up to the apartment, nodding to the guard before heading in.

"Hey Britt," Maria says.

"In the kitchen," Brittany says.

Maria heads into the kitchen. "You shouldn't be on your feet. I'll finish this."

"Thanks Maria," Brittany says.

"How many sandwiches do you want?" Maria asks.

"Um," Brittany says wincing.

She's fairly certain that she's currently having a contraction.

"Brittany?" Maria says turning to face her daughter-in-law.

Brittany is standing there with her legs wide and a puddle of water under her.

"I think I'm in labor." Brittany says.

"Oh honey," Maria says helping her sit down. "Let's get you to the hospital."

"We need to tell San." Brittany worriedly says.

"And we will once we're at the hospital. Most labors take quite a while." Maria softly says.

"Okay," Brittany says.

She gets up with Maria's help. Maria grabs Brittany's bag, leading her out to the SUV.

"Brittany's in labor, take us to the hospital." Maria orders one of the guards.

"Yes ma'am," the guard says helping them in.

"I need San," Brittany says starting to breath hard.

"Deep, slow breaths," Maria says leading her in breathing. "I'll text Santana right now. She'll come as soon as she can."

Brittany just nods. She knows that and is glad that Maria is here to help, but she wants her wife.

Maria prays that her youngest daughter will get here in time.

To Honey: 911 – Brittany in labor. Headed to the hospital. Go get Santana as soon as possible.

From Honey: Roger that

To Santana: 911 – Brittany in labor. Come as soon as possible.

Maria figures that her daughter won't reply which is why she told her husband to go get her. She then sends a group text to the rest of the family.

To Lopez Clan: Brittany in labor, on the way to the hospital.

From Dawn: We'll all be there as soon as possible.

"I've texted everyone and sent Mario after Santana." Maria tells Brittany.

"Thank you," Brittany says wincing. "I'm glad you're here. San would be a wreck and not calming at all." she softly says.

"I have done this a few times." Maria says.

When they reach the hospital, Brittany is instantly swept into a private room. Maria makes sure she has the best room.

"Maria good to see you." Sue says coming in. "Brittany, let's see how far along you are and how long your wife will have to get here."

"This is the worst pain I've ever had." Brittany says as Sue checks her out.

"I'll give you an epidural to help with the pain." Sue tells her. "You're five centimeters dilated. We still have aways to go."

"Thank you," Brittany says, turning to Maria. "I hope they make it in time."

"They will," Maria says, though she's worried too.

"We don't want to have to come back." Santana says wiping the blood off of her hands.

"So, don't cross us again." José growls.

Santana kicks the guy in the balls for good measure. They turn around and head out.

"I'd don't think they'll be skimming from us again." Santana says.

"No, they won't." José says smiling.

The pair walks out of the warehouse and down the street to the club were they parked their truck.

"Santana!" Mario shouts when he sees them.

"Dad? Is something wrong?" Santana says worried.

"Brittany's in labor, your mom took her to the hospital." Mario tells her.

"Shit," Santana says running to the truck.

"What about me?!" José shouts after her as Santana starts the truck up and peels out.

"Get in," Mario tells his son, waiting till he's in before following his daughter.

Santana cuts across several lanes of traffic, cutting people off as she speeds towards the hospital. She pulls into a handicap spot, not caring. Jumping out she runs in to find her wife.

"I'm looking for Brittany Pierce." Santana shouts at a nurse.

They decided for Brittany's safety that she should keep her last name. Plus she's published a lot of papers and it would make it more complicated for her professionally to change her last name.

"And you are?" the nurse asks.

"Her wife," Santana growls getting angry.

"Santana, I know what room they are in." Mario tells his daughter leading her away.

"Is she okay?" Santana asks nervous.

"You haven't missed it. She's still in labor." Mario tells her.

When Santana finally sees her wife, she runs to her.

"I'm here babe," she says.

"San," Brittany sobs, wrapping her arms around her neck. "I was so worried you'd miss the birth."

"I'm sorry babe, but I made it." Santana says.

Maria slips out of the room, giving her husband a hug.

"Thank you for getting her here." Maria says kissing him.

"Is she close?" Mario asks.

"She's seven centimeters. Sue thinks she's about an hour or two away." Maria tells him. "Let's go with the rest of the family in the waiting room."

"Shouldn't we be here for them?" Mario asks.

"They're fine," Maria says.

In the room, Santana is dotting on her wife. "How are you?" she asks.

"It hurts, I just want her out." Brittany complains.

"Oh honey," Santana coos, kissing her. "I'll go get Sue."

"Stay," Brittany says holding onto her. "Sue was just in and I'm at seven inches now."

"Does she think it will take much longer?" Santana asks holding onto her wife.

"Maybe an hour or two. I've already been in labor for seven hours." Brittany says wincing as another contraction hits.

"Fuck, I'm sorry it took so long to get here." Santana says.

She wishes that she had been there to take Brittany to the hospital and can take away her pain.

"San, don't worry about it. You're here now and I get to squeeze the life out of your hand." Brittany says.

Santana groans at the thought.

"How is she?" Dawn asks when Maria and Mario get to the waiting room.

"She's a trooper, she's very glad that Santana made it in time." Maria says.

"At least she made it." Christina growls, glaring at her husband.

"You'll never let me forget that." Sterling says.

José chuckles at this.

"I wouldn't laugh when you passed out." Katherine says to José.

"Again, so glad we adopted." Amelia says.

All the women are giving the men a hard time about what morons they were when their wives were in labor/giving birth.

"Did dad mess up too?" Diego asks being the only one not being attacked since he and Asia don't have kids yet.

"That's not something you all need to know." Maria says.

Mario let's out a sigh of relief.

"Shh, I just got all the kids asleep." Asia whispers.

The Lopez clan has taken over the waiting area.

"Well Brittany, it's time." Sue says on her fifth check after Santana arrived.

"Finally," Brittany groans.

"Okay on your next contraction, I'm going to need you to push." Sue tells Brittany.

"We're doing this here?" Santana asks shocked.

"Yes, this room is fully stocked with everything we'll need." Sue tells Santana.

"Not now San. This is all about me." Brittany growls at her wife.

"I'm sorry," Santana says.

"Just let her squeeze your hand." Sue says before turning to Brittany. "I need you to push."

"Fuck!" Brittany shouts as she pushes.

Santana winces as Brittany squeezes the life out of her hand.

"I can almost see the head." Sue says. "I need another big push."

"I'm trying!" Brittany shouts.

"Do something!" Santana shouts at Sue.

"Sut up!" both Sue and Brittany shout.

"There's the head." Sue says. "I just need a few more pushes."

Brittany strains as she continues to push. Santana is fairly certain at least one of her fingers is broken, but isn't saying anything.

"One more big push." Sue says.

"Fuck!" Brittany shouts pushing before falling back.

Screams fill the air as Sue holds their daughter up.

"Your daughter sure has the Lopez lungs." Sue says. "Would you like to cut the cord." she says to Santana. "She's a healthy, probably eight-pound baby."

Santana nods, staring in awe at her daughter.

"San," Brittany weakly says.

"She's breath taking," Santana says kissing Brittany's forehead.

"Here you go moms." Sue says placing their wrapped daughter in Brittany's arms. "I'll give you a few minutes." she says leaving.

"I can't believe she's here." Brittany says yawning.

"I can't believe how strong you are. I'm in awe of you." Santana says wrapping her arms around them. "What should we name her?"

"I don't know, all the names we were thinking of don't seem to fit her." Brittany says looking down at their sleeping daughter.

"I'm sure we'll think of something." Santana says standing up. "I should go tell my family."

"San," Brittany says grabbing her hand. "Do you want to hold her before your mom commandeers her."

"I don't want to hurt her." Santana says.

"You won't," Brittany says pulling Santana back down next to her. "Just hold your arms out and I'll put her in them." she instructs.

Santana does as Brittany says and Brittany gently puts their daughter in her arms.

"Wow," Santana says.

"See, you won't hurt her." Brittany says kissing her.

Just then a nurse comes in.

"Ladies, I'm here to help with getting this little one fed." the nurse tells them.

"This is all you Britt." Santana says handing their daughter back.

Santana watches in awe as her wife feeds their daughter for the first time.

"You're both naturals." the nurse says. "Let us know if you need any help." she says before heading out.

"Britt," Santana says. "You're amazing."

Brittany blushes, securing her hold on their daughter who has fallen asleep. "I think we should name her Chloe." she says.

"Chloe," Santana tries it. "I like it."

They just smile at each other. Santana is so damn proud of her wife and over the moon happy to finally be able to hold her daughter.

"I should go get my family before my mami find her way back." Santana says kissing her wife and daughter on the head.

"Hurry back," Brittany says.

Santana runs to the waiting room. She slows herself down as she enters not wanting to worry them.

"Finally," Dawn says.

"I hear congratulations are in order." Christina says smiling at her younger sister.

There must have been baffled look on her face as her father explains.

"Sue stopped by and told us our granddaughter was born and everything was okay."

"Mami's been impatiently waiting." Diego says.

"Everyone follow me," Maria says. "Like every other time, everyone will get to see the baby before heading home. I'll stay here with them."

"I get to see the baby?" Jane asks her mom, Christina.

"Yes, we all get to." she says picking her up.

Brittany smiles when she sees the whole family. They already know the order and Antonio, Dawn and their three kids are first.

"She's adorable," Dawn says cooing at her.

"We're very happy for you." Antonio says. "Enjoy her while she can't talk back."

The kids look at the baby, but are bored.

"We'll see you later. Got to get the kids home." Dawn says before they head out.

José and Katherine come in next. Maria is holding their nearly year old son.

"Now you get to know what it's like to have sleepless nights." José says to Santana.

"José," Katherine says. "She looks like you." she says to Brittany.

"Let's hope she has Britt's temperament." Santana says.

"We're happy for both of you. Now we have to get our son in bed." Katherine says pulling José with her.

Christina, Sterling and their two kids come in next.

"Another baby," Gabrielle says rolling her eyes.

"Go wait outside the door with your brother." Christina says pushing them to the door. "Sorry about them."

"I don't blame them; babies aren't exactly interesting especially to kids." Santana says.

"I can't believe your mom." Christina says hugging Santana.

"I can't either." Santana says.

"You'll both be great moms. The kids love you." Sterling says.

"Thanks," Brittany says.

"Call if you need anything." Christina says before they head out.

Chloe starts crying just as Amelia, Louise and their twins come in.

"She doesn't seem happy." Maddy says.

"Can we hold her?" Diana asks.

"Um…" Santana doesn't want to say yes but also doesn't want to say no.

"Of course, come sit next to me." Brittany says patting the spot next to her.

Brittany puts Chloe into Diana's arms and Maddy smiles at her sister.

"She's a great mom." Louise whispers to her wife and sister-in-law.

"You got damn lucky," Amelia adds.

"I know," Santana says. "Thanks for all your support." she says to the both of them.

"You're welcome little sis." Amelia says hugging her.

Amelia and Louise have helped Santana and Brittany with all the legal stuff in getting married since they had to do when they were married.

"Come on girls." Louise says waiting for Diana to hand Chloe back to Brittany.

They head out and Diego and Asia come in.

"This will be you in a few months." Brittany says to Asia.

"She's adorable," Asia says cooing over her.

"She was a pain coming out but more than worth it." Brittany says.

"Congrats sis," Diego says.

"Thanks bro," Santana says.

They stay for a few minutes before heading out. The last ones to enter are Mario and Maria.

"No matter how many grandkids we have each time a new one is born I'm still amazed." Mario says looking down at her.

"You can hold her." Brittany offers.

"My precious granddaughter. We will all protect you." Mario says.

"Hand her over." Maria says taking Chloe from him.

"We won't get her back for a while now." Santana says.

"Your mami has been looking forward to this." Mario says hugging Santana. "You take a month off okay. Your brothers can help me until your back."

"All your brothers got the same amount off for the birth of their kids." Mario says.

"Okay," Santana agrees.

"I'll be staying as long as you need." Maria tells Brittany.

"Thank you," Brittany says.

Doctor Sue comes in, nodding at Mario who heads out having business that needs handling.

"Well ladies, both Brittany and baby are healthy. I'd like to keep them overnight just to keep Santana from freaking out and calling me at 2 am." Sue tells them.

"Thanks," Santana says so glad.

Brittany and Maria both shake their heads at Santana.
