A New Chapter

*Combined POV*

Goku was wearing his classic orange Gi with a black under-shirt. He was just standing there looking at his house. Caulifla's heart skips a beat as she feels a flow of emotions rise up within her.

Caulifla: "Goku..."

Caulifla just stands for a few moments, the energy around here begins swirling as her emotions grow. A mixture of excitement and fear start to build up. Excitement because after all this time, from when she first fought him and felt that energy to now, she'll finally be able to master those powers she felt then. Fear because what if he doesn't want to teach her these powers, what if he couldn't teach her those powers, what if she wasn't strong enough. Even then, a simple thought crosses her mind, 'What if he doesn't even remember me..?' All of these thoughts are racing through her mind are causing her to start to get anxious. 'Was this a bad idea? Should I not have come? Am I even worth the time?' She quickly strengthens her resolve and collects herself. 'What am I even talking about! Of course im worth it! Im the best of the best! He WILL train me!' She looks up at him and focuses on Goku and begins to walk towards him. Without talking another step Goku turns around and stares at her. 'Huh? Who is that..?' After a few seconds it clicks in his head who she was.

Goku: "Oh hey! I remember you! Uhhh... Its Caulifla right?"

Caulifla: "oh.. yeah! That right! Its me!" She says it with an awkward smile

Goku: "Well whats up? Im sure you came along way from your universe!"

Caulifla: "Yeah it did take a while to be here and I was hoping..." she gulps and takes a deep breath in "I was wondering if you could show me how to get that power you have, I know you showed me that next power that... Super Saiyan 3 but I couldn't even get it on my own.. my sister Kale doesn't like sparring as much as I do so it didn't even feel like I even came close.. so if you would... can you teach me?"

Caulifla was acting strangely out of character and Goku could even feel it. She seemed.. timid even embarrassed that she couldn't obtain that next level. Goku looks her up and down and gives her a warm smile and simply outreaches his hand.

Goku: "Of course I will! Im not sure how good i'll be as a teacher but I think I did good with my kids!"

[Piccolo most likely would have lost his mind if he heard that]

Caulifla's demeanor instantly shifts from her worried look to a look of eagerness. She quickly gets up in Goku's space and looks like if she had a tail it'd be waging at Mach 10.

Caulifla: "Really!? I knew you would! Anyone would recognize my awesomeness!"

Goku gives her a intrigued look and just giggles. He crosses his arms and looks up in thought. 'Well i've never trained a Saiyan before. Is it even different? I mean Gohan and Goten are half Saiyan.. it could be the same. Im sure this will be a fun challenge.' He looks back down to her.

Goku: "Alright! I think I know where we can start off lets just start with the basics huh?"

Caulifla: "The basics!?" She puts her hands on her hips "I just got through with the basics with your son and some green man!"

Goku: "Oh you got to train with Gohan and Piccolo!? They're really strong fighters, im sure they taught you a-lot but im sure they didn't teach you what I know!"

Caulifla: "Oh I doubt that, we went over basics over and over because your son has been skimping on his training."

Goku: "Hehe yeah, he tends to do that! Anywho, I have to teach you how to master your base form anf push it even farther before you even get to Super Saiyan 3. Believe me it will do a world of wonders for you!"

Caulifla: "Well I was just hoping we could spar and have that rematch but whatever." She crosses her arms and scoffs at his offer

Goku: "Oh come on Caulifla.. I will teach you all I know and what i've been taught! Im sure you want that SuPeR SaYiAn 3!!!" He says that last part with a teasing town

Caulifla: "Alright alright! Fine i'll take your stupid lessons.."

Goku: Hehehe I can't wait for you to get stronger! That means I don't have to fight just Vegeta. He can get boring after a while."

Goku teaches her some basics and even takes her to a small island that has a small town in it. He tells her that she'll be delivering milk to all the residents in the morning, and if she can do that within 2 hours after waking up at 5:00am he'll teach her the new training method. He pulls out a small capsule and chucks it a distance away when it pops up a small house appears. Caulifla's eyes widen when the house appears. 'What kind of magic is this!?' Goku lets her rest up while he goes out to get some food. She looks through the small house that he had made just appear, inside there is a few pieces of furniture and a couple necessities a house needs. While looking through the house she see's a photo framed and with further investigation she can see Goku towering over everyone and on the right of him is Gohan, and standing in the middle is a small child. 'That must be Goten huh..? Man he really does look like his father, I saw him earlier but u was focused that I never really to a long look at him.' She continues to look until her eyes land on a female on Goku's left with his arm over her shoulder. 'Who the hell is this? I don't remember seeing her. Hmm she must be the childrens mother.. hmmm...' She continues to look throughout the house and she walks to the end of the hallway and it splits into two bedrooms. One has a made up bed and looks barely used with only a few decorations like plants and odd paintings. The other looks a decent bit messy and has a lot more things adorning the walls and floors. The bed seems to be a messy made up style, and a couple photos on the walls. A few photos have his kids with either them together or apart. There is one photo next to the bed on a little dresser that has a photo of Goku with that same woman. 'Hmmm so that must be his mate.. she doesn't look Saiyan.' She leaves the room and heads to the living room and awaits Goku's return. After a few hours Goku comes right through the door.

Goku: "I hope you like fish! Hehe!"

Caulifla walks outside when she see's a giant fish attached to a stick by the mouth. She looks back at Goku who has grabbed some wood and already walked out of the house prepping a little fire below the fish after he propped it over the fire to cook. He sits on the ground and watches the fire cook the fish with its skin already turning to a golden brown. Caulifla just instinctively sits down watching it as well. She turns to him and just tilts her head. 'If he is mated. Where is she? I haven't seen her once since i've been here and I think I have met his friends before her.. weird..' after some time Goku finishes up the fish and cuts it apart and they eat. Caulifla feels a slurry of taste flow through her, they have good food on her home planet but nothing like this. She proceeds to eat even faster than Goku, which he notices.

Goku: "Woah! Hungry are we? Hehe."

Caulifla looks up at him with fish hanging from her mouth. After sucking it up and swallowing she looks away with a bright red face starts to appear. After some time the fish is finished and they walk back in the small house.

Goku: He lets out a big yawn "Well im pooped, imma head to bed, your room is next to mine, feel free to make it as much as a home to you as it is to me!" He lets out a big smile

Caulifla: she smiles at his smile just out of habit, who can resist that lovable idiots smile "heh whatever old man."

Goku: He watches her walk into her room and close the door, and after a second to think it hits him "Old man!?!?"

When Goku gets up at 4:30am he goes to wake her up and when he walks in he see's Caulifla just sprawled out across the bed just completely knocked out. He softly shakes her but nothing. His face has a sly smile come over him as he goes into the kitchen and comes back with two pots. He bangs them together multiple times.

Goku: BANG BANG "Wakey wakey" BANG BANG "eggs and bakey!!!" BANG BANG

Caulifla: Shooting straight up "WAH! I SWEAR THOSE WERE LIKE THAT WHEN I GOT HERE-" she looks over at Goku and then to the pots, her eyes grow big with anger "WHY YOU LITTLE!!"

Goku: "Woah! Hey, chill out Caulifla. I was just trying to get you up but you wouldn't budge."

Caulifla: she bits her lip and clenches her fists but then lets it go "Ughh.. fine. What time is it anyways?"

Goku: Shrugs "I dunno. Im ready to get your training ready though! How about you?"

Caulifla: "Pssh of course im ready, I was born ready." 'Kind of wish you let me sleep in tho..'

Goku: Giving a warm smile and a thumbs up "Great! Lets get started!!"

Goku takes Caulifla to an empty part of the Canyon and goes over some of the basics but a little more sped up since his good friend Piccolo did it for him. After a few hours he switches to Ki management and how to expend Ki but not losing energy whilst doing so. How to contain the energy of the Super Saiyan forms and how to store it within. He then starts to explain all of the Super Saiyan forms accessible to her. All while Caulifla is just watching and listening. She doesn't take her eyes of him for a second. 'I've never thought about these things in these ways, with enough time I could master all of this like him.. I could even be better! Man he really is a great teacher..' she thinks all while she continues to listen. The two continue their training until the night sky rises above. Goku then notices how late it and and turns back over to Caulifla.

Goku: "Hehe I guess we got a little carried away. We should head on back so we can get some dinner!"

Caulifla: She puts her hands on her hips "Oh come on.. I was just getting star-" her stomach lets out a loud growl "mmmm... fine I might be hungry."

Goku: "Great lets get some food!"

The pair head back to the House and the same repeats, Goku goes looking for food and Caulifla stays at the house looking around. She's trying to learn more about her new "Master". After some time she is able to find a photo she never noticed before. A photo above the fire place with only Goku in it. In the picture Goku's wearing a nice suit on him with a small house with the word "KAMI" written on the front she grabs the photo and investigates it more. 'What in the hell is he wearing. Thats some weird outfit.' After looking at it for some time she goes to put it back when a small paper falls off the back. She puts the picture back and picks it up. 'Huh.. it looks like it was attached to the back of the frame.' She opens the small paper up and within it has a small letter. She looks at the top and it says "Deae Goku" she closes the paper quickly. 'This looks to be something written for him.. I really shouldn't pry... but then again' her intrigue gets the better of her and she opens it back up to read it.

It reads, "Dear Goku, I wanted to write this letter to let you know how much you mean to me. I don't really do this that much; however, I need to let you know a few things. Im very proud of the man you've become. Since I first met you when we were kids I knew you were the one. You always look at the bright side of things and people most of all. Im sure our future together will be filled with adventure and fun. Keep being yourself Goku. Love Chi Chi." Caulifla just looks at the paper over and over again. She flips to the back and flips it again. 'Man he really has people that care for him everywhere.. I guess he really wasn't all that bad of a guy everyone made him out to be at the Tournament.. still..' She has a weird feeling go over her, she doesn't understand whats she is feeling. She shrugs its off without second thought and puts the paper back on the back of the frame and sits down with her thoughts. 'That was weird.. I really shouldn't have looked at that.. I think im feeling..' right as she was deep in thought Goku walks through the door.

Goku: "Yo! I got some more fish! The water was full today!"

Caulifla: "Huh!? Oh! Good Im starving."

She wraps up what was going through her mind and carries on outside. After the fish was nice and cooked the started to eat and talk about what they've been up to in the past few years. Goku talks about Ultra Instinct and the training he has been receiving from Whis and Lord Beerus. She looks on in amazement as for her those feats are those of a god. 'I really hope I can reach something like that one day.' She thinks as she takes a bit bite out of her fish. She looks back up to Goku thinks for a second.

Caulifla: "Hey.. Goku? Can I ask you something?"

Goku: "Sure thing! Shoot!"

Caulifla: "Okay.. so I may or may not had been snooping around your place." He gives her a questioning look "I swear I just curious about the place! Don't give me that stupid look! Anyways.. I found a picture and I uh.. I just wanted want to know.. who is Chi Chi?"

Goku's face is just full of shock. He hadn't talk about Chi Chi in so long. 'Where did she hear that name?' She can see that he is looking uncomfortable, after a few moments Goku just lets go a deep sigh and looks down

Goku: "S-she.. she was... someone close to me.. I-I..." tears start to form in Goku's eyes

Caulifla: "Woah! hey hey! Its okay if you don't want to talk about it its okay.. we can just drop it."

Goku: he looks up at her "Thanks.. I think we should hit the sack.. i'll see you tomorrow."

Caulifla just simply nods as she watches Goku get up and head to inside. 'Good job.. gone and messed things up.. I shouldn't have asked.. i'll make it up to him tomorrow." She gets up and heads inside. She sits down in her bed and then lays down. 'Yeah.. i'll make it up to him.' She smiles and knocks out for the night.

Hey Guys and Gals! Sorry for the short one and being a little late! Got a little caught up with ya know.. life. I hope the light read was worth the weight imma try to pick it up for you guys!

The same time next week for sure! Caulifla is starting to feel something but who knows what it is yet. Lets find out together shall we?
