It took Jane 5 minutes to catch the killer and close the case , jane followed Cho to his office " since i closed the case like we agreed you have to tell me now about the wedding , is she really getting married? "

Cho sat down and took a deep breathe " yes , she called and invited me .. its the next weekend we are meeting for dinner in their place the day before the wedding ,then the wedding will be held in a small church the next after noon''

Jane felt pain in his chest .. she is getting married and she didn't even invite him 'who else is invited ?''

'Wiley , Rigsby and Vanpelt are all i know .. probably other family and friends ".

He pushed his hurt aside at the knowledge that all their close friends were invited but she purposely ignored him .. she was still angry and he completely understood her feelings .

'' Thank you Cho " he said and turned around to leave .

'Is that it ? '' said cho and Jane frowned ánd turned to face him again '' yes . what do you think i am going to do '?

'I think you are still acting like an idiot '' said Cho then turned to his laptop ending the conversation .

Jane stayed up all night in his Airstream thinking about every thing that happened , he knew he hurt her so many times and maybe things were broken beyond repair ..may be she really hated him but he couldn't accept losing her completely even if he didn't get a chance to confess his love to her, he couldn't lose her as his best friend and partner .

He decided that may be what happened was for the best and she was better off with some one like Marcus who didn't have dark history or complicated feelings and personality like he was .. and if he made her happy then he would be happy for her too .

He was selfish for a long time doing every thing to keep her by his side , he even saved her job so many times when they worked together at the CBI he always pretended that it was just for her sake ..but it was really all for his selfish needs for her , if he was a good man he would have let her go or even left the CBI when Bosco asked him to do but he couldn't just stay away from her .. she made him feel alive and with her even for few minutes he forgot his tragedy and the curse haunting him day and night .

By the morning he decided that if he had already lost his only chance at happiness , he could live with it as long as she was happy .

He packed his bag .. they were best friends and if she was getting married he was going to be there for her and he would make her forgive him and may be they would go back to how they were before .

He took her new job location from Wiley .. he wasn't going to surprise her at home with Pike .. he didn't want to cause them any kind of problem or disturb her new happy life he was just going to apologize and when she forgives him leave .

He used his FBI id and went inside her new office it didn't look much different than their office in Texas .. he stopped a young agent and asked for her place .

When he heard her voice from behind 'Jane , what are you doing here '?

She was holding a cup of coffee .. she had lost too much weight and had dark circles under her eyes but she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen .

'Hi 'he smiled .. he couldn't read her .. he didn't know wether she was happy to see him or if she was still mad at him .

She looked around and they were catching the attention of some of the agents on the floor and she seemed annoyed '' let's talk some where else ''.
