Becky wasn't sure what to do, she has to find the right day to run away. Then she saw her step aunt and she told Becky that she and her husband are going out and won't be back till morning.
That gave Becky the opportunity to run away that night. Carrying nothing, but a bag that holds a photo of her and her parents back when they were still alive, her mother's fashion scarf and her father's reading glasses, she started her journey. Her journey to freedom that is.
Becky stowed away on buses and trains and most of the time she walked. She stowed away on trucks, the type that carries the crates and mail. Then finally after being on the road for a month and a half, she finally made it to Fission City. She made shelter from a box that carried an enormous tv and tried to find food to eat in the dumpster.
After her meal, she settled down in her box shelter. She looked at the stars in the night sky and saw two stars twinkling in the night sky. She sighed sadly and tears started to form in her eyes.
She thinks it's her parents and she started to cry. She cried herself to sleep. She just misses her parents very much. She just does terribly. She made a wish in her thoughts while she sobbed.
Her wish is that her life would be brand new and grand at the same time. What she didn't know is that her life is going to change for the better. It was about to happen sometime.
