[ At the same time inside the Justice League's operations control tower ].

A clean, white room spills out the light from a few energy-saving bulbs. All around the walls are metal shelves, loaded with medical equipment and orderly stacks of folded linen. In one corner is a bed, its sheets meticulously tucked in place.

" - "

Upon it lies a figure swathed in an unadorned ethereal robe that seems to envelop her like an embrace of starlight fabric. only her face could be seen beneath its hood, free of make-up or any facial expressions, and also some kind of red chakra stone is placed on her forehead immersing her into a more enigmatic and mysterious presence. While at the same time she appears almost angelic and serene while she sleeps peacefully under a gentle beeping and buzzing coming from the futuristic heart rate monitor connected to her finger, keeping track of every change in breathing rhythms or heart rate.—a testament to life amidst all that is mechanical and sterile here in this space reserved for healing.

" - "

Now taking a closer look at her facial features. She appears ageless, with delicate, porcelain and horrifyingly pale grey skin. Her closed eyelids mask an inner beauty that glows from within.

" - "!

her long lashes flutter ever so slightly as if she is dreaming of something.

"Ack!"

Suddenly, the figure stirred. Her Two bright eyes, vivid with an intense purple hue, flickered open and began to scan the room with a combination of curiosity and confusion. Her fingers rose slowly towards her hood.

Zziiipppp!.

Then Hurriedly she pulled it back to reveal a girl beneath it. She had short hair--deep purple in color--that framed her face just perfectly and only enhanced its youthful features.

–those of an eight or nineteen year old girl that fit snuggly into her fragile frame.

Sigh.

Finally, after her breathing had returned to a more normal level and the tautness in her frame had relaxed, and her after waking panic abated. the girl let out a deep sigh of relief. Her voice, when she spoke was exhausted with strain yet filled with gratitude that it was all over. "I'm finally back," she said softly. "That was really a nerve-racking experience... I just hope that I don't have to do that ever again."

Cleck!

"RAVEN !!?"

"Uh!?"

The sound of creaking hinges filled her ears as an unseen door opened somewhere beyond her vision –followed closely by a high-pitched voice booming across the medical chamber. like a gunshot, The owner's voice was like nothing else - vibrant and piercingly clear but also worried, bouncing off every wall in a hailstorm of sound. Raven found herself rooted to the spot as if caught in some strange spell she was completely startled, shaking away sleep and any memory that came with it.

Ha!

As recognition dawned of the voice owner She closed her eyes, as She took a deep breath trying desperately to compose herself ... and finally With effort, Raven managed to harness what little air had made its way into her lungs and tried to compose an articulate response.

"Star-Ughh?!..".

when before she could finish speaking- Raven felt a familiar weight press against her body too familiar that she hate to admit. as strong arms enveloped her tightly.

"Ugh!"

She found herself in a crushing embrace, before she could even respond - like lightning - leaving no room to react or fight back against it. Raven gasped for air as panic surged through her body with each passing second.

"S-star-hk!.."

aware now that it was the owner of this all too familiar voice who had invaded her personal space unannounced...again.

"Hufff!"

The girl let out a sharp exhale, her face flushing with joy as she hugged Raven. "I'm really happy that you finally woke up, Raven!!," the girl said loudly and pointedly as she squeezed raven tightly.

"For a moment I thought you were dead! And it's not just me—everyone was worried about you..." She paused for a second before continuing in an uncertain voice. "Well, I don't know about Batman... But I'm sure he was worried - on his own way at least." Her grip tightened as she continued to squeeze Ravens' still fragile body.

"Hk...!!"

Raven could barely breathe as the tight hug made her face turn blue from holding her breath. But still the girl kept talking and chatting away without any sign of letting go anytime soon while tears ran down her cheeks and snot from her nose.

" - "

-until Raven's sight began to blur

"Uh?"

Fearful that too much pressure might cause Raven to faint or worse yet cease breathing entirely, she released her grip momentarily and stepped back only slightly to allow the younger woman enough space to gasp for breath "I'm sorry, Raven," the girl said sheepishly, her hands quivering at her sides. She rocked back and forth on her heels before exhaling a short giggle. "But I couldn't help myself ... when I saw that you are finally awake " Her eyes twinkled in the muted light as she looked into Raven's face with an expression of mild guilt, She brought her hands to her chest in a conciliatory shrug and gave one last nervous laugh before looking up at Raven with an apologetic expression.

She was a beautiful girl, with a complexion like the sun's rays. Her eyes glowed brightly and her skin was as smooth as silk. She had long, fiery-red hair that cascaded down her back like molten lava and framed in a face of beauty unlike any other before it. The shine of her hair contrasted against the bright green scleras making up those captivating eyes which were further brought out by small rounded eyebrows perched above them like twin arcs over an oasis. Despite her height, there was something delicate about this girl's figure that made you feel both protective and mesmerized simultaneously - she looks like an enchanting fairy come from some distant land of wonders.

–Wish it could be the case, if we count her alien origin.

Cough cough cough!!!

Raven staggered back on her bed ,coughing and wheezing, her frail body shuddering with each effort. Her eyes darted around, searching for the words that escaped her tongue.

"Y-you–"Cough!.

She began to speak but then quickly cut herself off with a hacking cough as she struggled to compose a response. Her voice was strained and weak as she tried again, and so.

"...T-thank you," Raven finally said, her voice barely audible. As She slowly rose from the bed " but Look star I'm really fine now ... so please you don't need to worry yourself about me anymore, okay?."

Starfire nodded and laughed a little as she wiped away the tears that had formed in her eyes. She then looked around at their surroundings before saying with a content smile on her face "I'm really happy that your awake finally ... while you still you ," starfire responded her eyes, twinkling in the light. But then her smile quickly transformed to a frown and worry filled her expression. "But what exactly happened to you, Raven? During the battle, you suddenly fell unconscious for no reason at all, and if Superman hadn't been near you... I'm sure you would have been pushed into an even worse predicament..." She trailed off as emotions swirled through her gaze - fear of losing her best friend.

Seeing her friend worry for her brought Raven both happiness and guilt in equal measure. But what could one do ?, The Rock of Eternity literally had snatched up her soul without warning or consultation, charging her the task of guiding a wayward Chosen One, to which she alone was capable of attending.

" - "

Her lips hung open like a chasm pursued by silence before curling into an almost imperceptible smile as she looked upon her friend's concern with repentant eyes.

"Don't worry star it's still me and it will always be ," she said, her voice gentle yet firm, " and i promise you that i will never go anywhere _as you are My best friend Starfire, I will stay by your side for the rest of my life, and I tell you from the bottom of my heart, you are my friend and my sister, the most beautiful creature in the universe, and i shall never forget that, you are my friend, the friend of a lifetime."_ she left that last part unsaid Ashamed.

Her words made Starfire's smile brighter, a radiant cascade of joy that filled the room with an indescribable light.

But suddenly Raven's expression turned serious though. She took a deep breath and looked at Starfire intently_. "As for your question," she continued in an even more serious tone than before, "it's better to say what happened when everyone is present – because the matter is extremely important and requires the presence of at least every member of the Justice League." Raven finished firmly while emphasizing that last word with a slight nod of her head - Her words made Starfire furrow her brows in concern and confusion at what she implied was so important that none outside their group should knew about.

And As Raven finished, Star bobbed her head in agreement. "I understand," she said solemnly, though not without her usual cheerful undertone. As she was also fully aware of the severity of their situation and understood the actions that needed to be taken. She paused as Looking to Raven for affirmation, then she spoke again - this time with certainty - "So should I go ahead of you and inform the rest of Justice League?".

Raven smiled slightly as she tapped her temple. "No, there's no need for that because I've already communicated with everyone telepathically," she said in a sure voice. "So all we have to do is go to the Hall of Justice where the meeting will take place." Her gaze shifted towards Starfire, before adding as an afterthought: "By the way, Star, could you tell me how long I've been missing? In other words - how much time has passed since my last moment of consciousness?"

Starfire furrowed her brow and looked away in thought before finally answering coyly "Oh you know how time flies when one is resting~..."

Raven rolled her eyes and frowned, "Star, I'm serious!" She said firmly. Starfire suppressed a smile but still kept her eyes dancing as she replied with a mock seriousness.

"Okay, okay geez you're no fun sometimes!... Well to be honest it hasn't been that long since you passed out maybe five hours." As if to emphasize the point, she snapped her fingers in emphasis before reaching out for the glass of water on the table next to them.

Sigh!.

Raven let out another sigh of relief, feeling the tension leave her body as she heard Starfire's words. Days or weeks she had expected to have lost in her unconsciousness but it seemed that was not the case Starfire's concern from before only made her more anxious and fearful of that possibility, although relieved by what she had heard, something else still weighed on her mind.

biting her lip, she voiced quietly "Hey Star…"she said hesitantly " one last question... Could you please inform me of the condition of the Legion of Heroes that I was assigned to support to defend Oa from invasion? Are they all safe?" She knew she bore great responsibility in this battle against the Kryptonians, especially After she learned how to control her mighty dark powers a few years ago, as a result she quickly become one of the universe's greatest forces and were now considered one of Kryptonians' deadliest opponents.

Raven waited anxiously for an answer

Her purple eyes were fixed intently on Starfire's face as if willing an answer into existence before it could be spoken aloud - but deep down she feared that her comrades in the battle had paid a heavy price in this fight due to her sudden absence.

Starfire put the now empty cup of water aside and smiled reassuringly at Raven, whose face had just been overcome with anxiety. "There is no need to worry, Raven," she said comfortingly. "After you lost consciousness, a powerful wizard calling himself Arion, suddenly appeared and took your place in the battle." Suddenly, her expression changed and she smiled playfully. "You know Batman," she quipped good-naturedly. "He always has a plan or reserves ready for anything!"

Raven nodded in agreement, a slight smile on her lips. "Yes, you're right - Batman really can be relied upon in situations like this... and it seems that I owe a debt of thanks to him as well as Superman for saving my life."

All the tension and guilt left her, leaving her with peace of mind. She stood abruptly and looked at Starfire with sudden seriousness in her expression. "Okay, Star – I think it's time for us to go to the meeting place as it is about to start".

And Without waiting for any response from Starfire, Raven took a few steps towards the door, past Starfire. As She gave a quick wave of her hand.

Swish!

and instantly the room filled with light as an ethereal white energy portal opened in front of them, its glow illuminating their faces. Raven gestured to it as she stepped into the magically made portal. "Come on," she said calmly "let's go!"

And Starfire was right behind her without delay and together they crossed through the magical entranceway.

Chang!

only to have it close instantaneously after their passage had been made - leaving darkness where before there had been blinding light.

Swish!

"welcome back with us, Raven," suddenly a rough and low voice with an intimidating edge had spoken.

The words sounded pleasant enough on their own, really contrasting the tone with wish it spoken –giving it an authority that made it clear they weren't to be taken lightly. "I hope everything is fine, and that you took a good rest" it added as if expecting proof of its concern in response.

Chang!

"I'm really grateful to you, Batman and I... appreciate your concern over me ," Raven replied in a soft voice. An apologetic expression crossed her face as she stepped out from the portal which had opened and closed right after with Starfire following behind her. "And I apologize for what happened," Her words were accompanied by an apologetic gesture of her hands as if asking him to accept them and forgive this unexpected occurrence without further doubt or suspicion on his part, Her voice lowered further still when adding: "but I have a really good and convincing reason that can explain what happened." Her voice was serious yet filled with an urgency that only increased when she finished speaking.

At the head of a long, imposing table in the otherwise-spacious room batman sits garbed entirely in midnight black - from his Cape flowing over shoulder to the Cowl pulled low over his face with two sharp ears on top of it, and Gloves covering hands that grip each armrest.

he sat tall on his chair, sternly surveying raven through two sharp white eyes that shone out from within their cowl's dark depths, as he surveyed her silently before nodding at her.

" I see..."

"Uh!?"

Suddenly raven felt a strong arm wrap around her shoulder, and turned only to find...

" oh um...Hey Flash..."

"Hello there raven!, glad you made it okay I was really worried, you know ?"

a tall figure wearing a red suit which covered his entire body from head-to-toe, and with an emblem of thunderbolt attached in the middle of his chest. "And besides, Don't let batman fool you with his tough to crack act," the flash said in reassurance, though behind his words she could detect underlying concern. "He may look harsh and intimidating, ...but I'm sure deep down under all that blackness...he is fully concerned about you." Suddenly he laughed lightly at something only he knew before adding with certainty " and you may dont know this but he has his soft spot when it comes to childre—

"Flash that's enough!"

Suddenly Batman voiced out sternly, interrupting the Flash before he finished speaking.

"Oops I think the seam was starting to split, oh well I think I should go ahead and take my seat," he said as he cracked a sarcastic smile before He looked back at Raven "Well, it was good talking to you little girl!"

Whoosh!.

Then his figure had blurred and suddenly reappeared sitting in the chair next to Batman who was starring at him with an expression that seemed more difficult to read than usual.

But it wasn't just Batman the only one who was angry at him, it seemed.

"Little ... girl ?"

"Hm?"

Suddenly, Raven uttered a low, almost clogged voice that caused Starfire to reposition her stare and tilt her head in an innocent yet inquisitive manner.

――How dare he!?.

But raven didn't register starfire reaction at all, as her purple eyes were slits of fire as she only stared at The Flash, regarding him steadily with a mixture of anger and annoyance. She felt her insides knotting in indignation. No one should dare call her a little girl – especially when she is already a twenty years - nearly twenty-one -, ...she she actually understood why people may think that, given how short she was compared to others like The Flash or Starfire etc,...BUT! none of this made any excuse whatsoever for calling her A LITTLE GIRL!...

"Ahem ... Raven are you okay!?"

Ah!

Suddenly Raven felt a gentle but firm hand on her shoulder, shaking her back to the present. She blinked in surprise.

" S-sorry star but did you say something?, ... if so I didn't hear you.."

"No, but I was just worried about you. You seemed uncomfortable for some reason." She paused before continuing again. "Are you sure you're okay? Do you still need to rest? If so, I'm sure Batman will understand and let you rest until you recover completely." Reaching out her hand she touched Raven's arm gently in reassurance.

"You have been putting a lot of pressure on yourself since the war started," she said softly, "and this is bad for your health you know?"

Sigh.

Raven shook her head with a sigh when she heard what her friend said. She felt that her friend completely misunderstood the situation she was facing. True The war had been lasting for an entire year and it had taken its toll on not only her, but people like herself all across the universe. She knew that while trying to keep up with an ever-increasing workload and different expectations of success from others, she'd been putting tremendous pressure on herself recently without any real end in sight or reprieve—but..

――I'm not tired at all.

Raven was no longer bound by Trigon, or rather her father demonic influence and fear.

his evil control over her had broken into pieces a long time ago. Her strength grew greater and more mightier since than, and she feels that she could fight forever on every battle she is in, Her appearance changed too - from dark and gloomy to light and pure - nearer in likeness to who she was truly inside. And her formidable control of her power increased tenfold,... and so.

" I am really happy for your concerns over me star . but you don't need to, I'm actually not tired at all," she said in a reassuring voice as she gently removed Starfire's hand from her shoulder. "Besides, what happened to me in the battle has absolutely nothing to do with my physical health...and worry not, as you'll know what really happened shortly.".

Starfire smiled, her eyes glinting in the light "Okay, I'll take your word for it now," she said before gently removing her hand from Raven's. As She turned and sauntered to one of the chairs at the table and sat down gracefully on its cushiony backrest.

"I haven't seen Starfire so afraid and sad with the fear of losing someone dear to her since the day when-..".

"When all the members of the Titans left, searching for their own lives, one after another, without returning or even a phone call after... Yes, I know, and I hate seeing her sad like this. It reminds me of those miserable days."

Raven spoke out in a low tone of voice, a mix between worry and sadness before she turned around to see the noticeably tall and fair-skinned woman standing before her. She was ageless with an attractive figure, sporting a slender yet athletic frame with well-toned muscles that were clearly visible under her battle armor of red leather body topped by a golden eagle connected to blue leather skirt held together by golden belt resembling the letter 'W'. Her jet black hair hung straight down past shoulders while sapphire eyes seeming look deep into Raven's own.

"Raven, my words were thoughtless, I should never have brought up such painful memories – it was wrong of me. Please forgive me." The woman expression of regret was clear in her features, as she earnestly voiced her regret over what she said.

Raven only shook her head slightly before replying softly, " you Don't need to apologize to me Diana - there is nothing painful anymore in those memories for myself." She paused quietly for a moment before continuing in a lower voice still, so as not to be overheard by anyone else nearby: "Just don't bring it up around Starfire...she still hasn't come to terms with it all yet."

The conversation suddenly became charged with a heavy, uncomfortable silence. Raven knew that Starfire would never be able to process the past the way she had - no matter how hard she tried. Though they were both different, Raven couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sympathy and worry for her closest friend.

"Raven, Diana!." Batman's voice, loud and authoritative, suddenly broke through the silence that hung between them. "Come here and Sit down now. We are gonna start this meeting right away!" He put his hands on the table in front of him and leaned forward slightly as he and every one else waited for Raven and Diana to take their seats. His expression was stern.

"Well, it seems the time has come," diana said with a smile. "Raven, I'm really happy that you're doing well. Your strength and conviction have been an inspiration to all of us here, and I don't want to lose such a strong female member on our team... and As for Starfire...I'll make sure not to bring up any subject related to the former member's of the Titans in front of her or any other subject that could upset her, its a promise"

Raven offered Diana a slight smile of gratitude and said, "I really appreciate it, Diana. Thank you."

"There's nothing you can thank me for, Raven... I'm the one who should be thanking you for reminding me of such an important matter... Anyway," She cast her gaze around the grand hall of justice with its huge futuristic table and numerous chairs dotted around it before continuing on. "Let's get over with this meeting." With that, they began walking towards one of the chairs around the huge table – a place where both would take their seats in hope to discuss whatever was the reason for starting this meeting in the first place.
