Okay so maybe I got a tad excited, and in my defense I had woken up and saw a 3o on the end of the clock and freaked out. Looking at my phones timer my hubris sits plain as day; 5:57 AM. Sighing I rub my hands together, I have always hated the cold, which is something me and Izuma have in common apparently. Naturally two peoples dislike of the cold you'd think would just take the stronger one, mine, and use that right? Nope. I now loathe the cold. Honestly it is pretty impressive. Both of us could deal with it, Izuma better than I, but neither of us liked it. Glancing at my deck Asura's Wrath I wince. Yeah that timer between when cards are allowed to be played in the real world is really long. A lot of things can happen in 24 hours. Oh I should probably explain things a bit better huh peanut gallery in my head?

Right lets begin with my quirk. My Quirks name is Card Castle, because everything it does is with cards. Admittedly I could have gone with games but that would lock me out of some of the most powerful of my cards, so ultimately I went with a theme of cards so that it could blend in with other quirks in My Hero. What my quirk boils down to is The Deck of Many Things. A regular deck of Tarot cards that predict the most likely future. (Mostly to save Sir Nighteye he didn't deserve to die dammit!) My favorite Yu-gi-oh deck that is named Asura's Wrath, and finally -what took the most time- the Blank cards. Oh-ho the Blank cards took a while because they were so fickle to get right. The basic premise is that they can do anything but I have to achieve some conditions in order for it to happen. Blank cards can even turn into Servant Cards from Fate letting me basically turn into and use the powers of whoever I want! However I not only have to have explicit permission to copy their abilities this way, but they have to be strong enough in the first place, all while I am stronger than them. So it becomes a really hard ability to use but pays off when someone things about how broken it is.

I am convinced there have been some changes made to make it more balanced. The textbox-person-thing seemed pretty intent that I don't receive something too overpowered. To be honest I don't even blame them either. Sure this world hasn't been fun yet, but I think once I get into UA I'll have a lot of fun with my classmates. Thumbing through my deck to calm myself down I remind myself I have another Ra if I need to use it to defend myself.

A sudden beep catches me off guard as I do not yelp in surprise, shut up you can't prove it, from a nearby speaker. "Why hello there! You have been standing outside for quite a while!" The peppy voice of the principal says from the speaker.

"Oh uh I was told by Eraserhead to come here at seven AM sir, um sorry I am early I got...pretty excited." I say getting a bit closer to the speaker as I speak assuming there is a microphone in the speaker to allow two-way communication.

"Oh? Why would Eraserhead tell a random civilian to come to UA." Principal Nezu asks as I start to sweat, did Aizawa not tell Nezu I'd be coming? Oh god what if Nezu thinks I am planning on breaking into UA! I think I'd outright die if that was the case!

"B-because I summoned a massive dragon the f-first day I had my quirk?" I say cursing my stutter making it sound like a question. Hearing a hum of acknowledgement I don't hear anything else causing my anxiety to slowly mount. "He probably doesn't believe me? Why would an underground hero even ask a civilian who hasn't even had their quirk for 24 hours enter UA. Oh god am I going to be arrested? I don't want to worry mom even more than I already have oh no whatwouldmomthinkifIgotarrestedI'dprobablybegroundedforlife-" I mutter before the doors open Eraserhead standing there looking just as tired as always. "E-Eraserhead sir!" I say in surprise as I didn't think he'd be here this early, but I guess it makes sense.

"Your early, good. Shows you don't think this is a joke or game." He said with a small nod before he looked at me thumbing through my deck. "Come on, lets get you a baseline." He said tossing me a pass attached to a lanyard which I almost fail to catch. That probably didn't win me any favorability, ouch.

"O-okay!" I say following him in as I put the lanyard around my neck reading "Temporary Visitor- Mr. Aizawa" underneath a photo of my new looking face. Probably got it from my medical records or something. Jogging up to catch up to Eraserhead I just follow him through the winding halls of UA. "So, um, Eraserhead sir? What do I call you during training?" I ask still trying to keep track of the labyrinth that is UA's halls.

"My name is Shota Aizawa, you can call me Aizawa-sensei while I train you and when you get into the hero course." He says throwing me off as I look at him wide eyed while we come to a stop, me just barely before running into Aizawa-sensei, in front of a building labeled Gym Edison a small notepad showing Eraserhead had booked it today while I saw Mirio and Nejire had booked it for tomorrow. "Today we will use Gym Edison, and if needed take training out to Gym Foxtrot which is much more open." He says as he walks to the side pulling out a phone looking thing. "First up, we determine minimum and maximum strength." He says as I sigh.

"Alright I do want you to know the cards I used are unavailable until school would have ended." I say earning a raised eyebrow from Aizawa-sensei. "I felt it when I ended the 'duel'. All of the cards I had used are now on a cooldown of sorts." I explain to him before I materialize my deck and begin a practice duel causing my deck to hover next to me the three Egyptian God Slimes going into my extra deck.

"Now that you've started this...duel, what does this do for you now?" He asks as I look ahead of me narrowing my eyes.

"Well now I can start to play my cards, although I have to start small, and play sacrifices to summon my stronger monsters." I explain as the rough layout of a one-sided battle appears, which I see is missing the pendulum scales, although I think that is because I don't have any pendulum monsters. "First I set two cards, and play two Shards of Greed. Then play Reactor Slime and activate it's effect allowing me to summon two Slime tokens in defense mode." I announce cringing slightly as that was a requirement I put in for the Yugioh deck since Slifer and Ra together wasn't a bit but a lot busted.

"So were you joking about needing to announce it or is this some kind of promotion thing for when you go pro?" Aizawa-sensei asks as he looks at the monsters I summoned, a set of one feet tall blobs in the general shape of slimes with a sort of cartoonish slime face painted onto it. The other seemed much more, well intimidating pushed it, unnerving more like. The Reactor slime looks like a Jackal with a metallic sheen appearing as the main thing it is made out of. It had no eyes, and was only about three feet tall, but looked a bit like ferrofluid as around the metal parts of it's armor it spiking out making it seem a bit like a porcupine somewhat. The biggest thing about it was the glowing hot reactor it had that had literally spat out the two slimes it created.

Aizawa looked at the Reactor Slime a he took a Picture of it noting it down. "I end my turn." I say as a few seconds pass before I draw another card smiling as the two shards of greed grows into two half broken pots. "I play the card Ancient Chant to draw The Winged Dragon of Ra from my deck." I say as the same crystal appears a distant roar calling out while Ra flies from near the bottom of my deck into my hand. "I also activate Reactor Slime again creating two more Slime tokens." I say creating two more defense mode Slimes. "With this I enter the Battle Phase to activate Reactor Slime's ability and set one Metal Reflect Slime from my deck before ending my turn." I say while smirking. "During the ending phase of my opponents turn I activate Metal Reflect slime allowing my trap card to become a Monster with great defense!" I say excitedly seeing Aizawa watch what is happening in schooled interest, or apathy I can't tell.

"So you turned this trap into a monster? Interesting." He said just standing by while watching my faux duel take place.

Drawing a card I smile. "I play the card Guardian Slime by sacrificing two of my slime tokens." I announce two slimes forming together into another jackal like creature this one looking a lot more like a jackal with small "ears" on it's head and a split where it's mouth would be. Although it was different not only because of its greater resemblance but also because its almost bioluminescent blue hands and lower body forming crude hands and a structural support shown on the other jackal slimes as well. Seeing the two broken pots fully form into the iconic and creepy Pots of Greed I smile wide enough for my face to crack. "Now I sacrifice my Metal Reflect Slime to summon a Egyptian God Slime from my extra deck." I say the Metal Reflect slime twisting and morphing into an almost slimy looking version of Ra, holding most of the same features except being goopy in a few places.

I look at Aizawa who seems intrigued at the smaller, maybe only 60 foot Ra look alike. "Now I sacrifice Guardian Slime to summon another Egyptian God Slime, which activates Guardian Slimes effect allowing me to pick a card dealing with Ra and add it to my hand!" I say as Guardian Slime goes through the same process fighting a lot more than Metal Reflect Slime did. "I choose the Spell card The True Sun God, which I immediately play allowing me to choose another card that lists The Winged Dragon of Ra allowing me to pick up Blaze Cannon. However that is not all as I activate both Shards of Greed and draw four cards!" I say four cards flying from the top of my deck into my hand. "Now then I set this card and End my turn." I state waiting for a couple seconds. "During my opponents end phase I activate another Metal Reflect slime." I state as I draw a card and smirk. "Now I activate Ancient Chant's effect in the graveyard, by banishing it Ra when summoned this turn will gain the power of all those sacrificed." I state with a smile looking at the crystal as it shatters in the air, different than last time as I am getting the biggest damage value possible. "Now I summon the last Egyptian God Slime in my extra deck by sacrificing my Metal Reflect Slime." I say the twisting mass of liquid metal forming a third metallic Ra. "Now I play the spell card Souls Crossing allowing me to sacrifice monsters or quirk effects on either side of the field in order to summon a monster!" I shout hyped as my cracked smile grows into one reminiscent of a Halloween movie villain. "Now I sacrifice all three Egyptian God Slimes to summon The Winged Dragon of RA!" I shout a roar covering UA nearly shattering windows. Instead of like last time where Ra had appeared from fire this time the Egyptian God Slimes all coalesced together forming a mass as high as 180 meters tall before Ra burst out of it in an Enraged state looking as pristine as ever the slime being incinerated from the sheer "heat" Ra put out, even though it hurt nothing else.

"That is almost as large as last time. Do we have to go outside?" Aizawa asks knocking me out of my funk as I sheepishly nod pausing this as we exit, Ra looking a little miffed that it had to move so suddenly after being summoned.

"Okay, this is an intensely strong Ra, but not the strongest yet." I say to Aizawa seeing him hum.

"Yeah, he had gotten up to 200 meters tall." Aizawa said factually as he looked at Ra seeing Midnight and Cementoss coming over in the peripherals of his vision.

"Pff, that is chump change as to how strong Ra can be." I say as I look at Ra with an attack power of 9000 right now. "I am going to sacrifice 7900 of my life points in order to boost Ra's by the same amount!" I say feeling weak as Ra roars and grows an additional 120 meters tall. Admittedly they should probably have been bigger but I think a bit of it is converted into density to keep Ra upright. "This, is the pinnacle of Ra's strength. And it is Beautiful." I say with a smile before Ra roars shattering the glass of Gym Edison and causing UA to shake. "SHCH! Ouch, that one was way loud. Not Present Mic levels but still up there." I mutter as I look at Ra wanting to try something. "Lean down Ra." I ask, seeing Ra look at me before it lowers it's head to my level showing I can control the monsters to do more than just attack, defend, and hide. Putting my hand on Ra's beak I rub it with a smile at the pleasant warmth of Ra's golden body.

"Shota, the fuck is happening?!" I hear next to me causing me to turn and be surprised at the sudden appearance of Midnight and Cementoss. "Also who is this?" Midnight asks seeing me causing me to blush and avert my eyes from Midnight's...bigger fanservice. I'm not small, shut up.

"O-oh! My name is I-Izuma Midoriya ma'am. Um, Ai- Eraserhead-sensei agreed to help teach me how to handle my quirk!" I explain quickly my hand still petting Ra...sue me he's pleasantly warm.

"Nemuri, stop scaring Midoriya. We were testing the absolute maximum power her power can achieve. Although I wonder why did you hesitate for a while there?" Aizawa asks turning to me as I look at him.

"Oh that's simple each turn is separated into a six category system. The draw phase, where I can draw a card. The standby phase which is only there for effects like Shard of Greed. The first main phase where I can play my monsters and spell cards, as well as setting my trap cards." I explain seeing Midnight and Cementoss also paying attention making me a bit more nervous as I explain it. "T-then after the first main phase is the Battle phase, where I can perform some effects but most being actually attacking my opponents. Then it goes to the second main phase allowing me to play any cards I could have drawn during the battle phase if I did. Then lastly the end phase." I say pausing so that they digest that information. "Just as I have to stick to that I have to wait until my opponant finishes their 'turn' so that I don't break the rules of my deck. If I do every card in my deck will go on cooldown for a month...I think." I say looking at Ra as I mentally decide to end the battle Ra dispersing into motes of light as I'm hit with sudden exhaustion.

"Oh gosh, that's what Life Points are. It's my stamina." I pant out my mouth splitting open making Midnight cringe as I pant, hands resting on my knees while I try to get air into my lungs through my now open mouth. "Note to self, always wait for Sun God's Unification if I use Ra." I pant out resting for a moment before I straighten up and put my hands on the back of my head to breath better. "Okay so that was the Maximum, minimum is probably the tarot." I say out loud to Aizawa who nods and lets me catch my breath for a moment before I walk over to him a fancy looking deck of cards appearing in my hands. "Oh, this just...feels different then before." I murmur having done it on a dummy, pulling the Tower over and over. I did end up destroying it so I guess that makes sense.

"Different how?" Aizawa asks looking at the deck in my hands with vague interest.

"Oh well the doctors think this tarot deck allows me to read the future. I tested it on a dummy and only pulled the tower, which I destroyed the dummy later so I guess it makes sense." I say with a shrug as Midnight barrels over and puts her arm around Aizawa-sensei as she looks at me her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"OOH! OOH! Read my future Midoriya-chan!" Midnight demands as Aizawa-sensei pushes her arm off him causing her to stumble a bit.

"Don't put your arm around me Nemuri. Midoriya, since you have a consenting helper go ahead and test it." He said giving me a small nod with his head as I take a deep breath and look at Midnight.

"Um, if it's bad...please don't be upset?" I ask unsure of how people react to people telling their future. Taking a deep breath I watch the deck shuffling itself before I reach out and pull a card from the middle. "This is your past." I murmur laying down the card as I drew it. "The upright Star, you have found your calling and have chosen to go with it and it makes you happy to have done so." I say seeing Midnight nod at that. "This, is your Present." I murmur watching the deck shuffle again before I draw from the top this time. "The upright Wheel of Fortune, change is soon to come whether good or bad your life is going to change drastically." I say and look at Midnight knowing what the next card will probably be.

"This is so cool! I wonder what the future will be." Midnight says aloud earning an annoyed hum from Aizawa.

"Finally your Future." I say drawing from the bottom and laying it down as I draw it. "Huh?" I mutter seeing that I pulled two cards at once. "The reverse Hangman and upright death. An unnecessary action that you think must be done. It is a warning to think on it and not go rushing into it blindly, perhaps even not running in in the first place. Death signaling the death of something dear whether it be a person, plan, or idea. I'd be wary about running into danger, it may cost you your life even when that would be meaningless and you can do more by not dying." I mutter fully expecting an upright Hangman because of her death, Was it for drama when she could have done more?

"Ouch, looks like my future isn't too bright huh Shota?" Midnight says nudging him as he hums just looking at her.

"Try me Midoriya." Aizawa said suddenly making me flinch.

"O-okay." I reply sighing as the cards fly back into the deck before it begins to shuffle quickly "First is your past." I say as I draw from the middle setting the card down as I drew it. "The reversed Tower. The drama has passed and you were freed from something which had plagued you your entire life." I say pleasantly surprised. "Your Present is next." I say while drawing from the middle after it shuffles. "The reversed Lovers. You are resisting something, yet won't admit your own double standards leading to stagnation within yourself and your situation. You can't do this on your own, you were never meant to in the first place." I say a bit confused on that part before I remember Aizawa complaining about the Entrance exam and it's leaning towards flashy quirks. "Finally your Future." I say and as it shuffles I yawn pulling a card from the top. "The reversed Justice." I say a bit confused. "You don't know what will happen, and while it may not seem to have logic if you keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth closed everything will smooth itself out, revealing the truth." I say wondering if it is talking about One for All.

"Hmm. Midoriya, are you sure this the future?" Aizawa asks skeptically which, I know it is, but shrug anyways.

"W-well that is what the Doctor says I don't know if that is actually what is is." I say looking down as I look at my tarot cards before switching to Asura's Wrath and thumbing through those cards. I can't explain it because maybe it is just me liking the series they came from but the most 'comforting' cards to have out are the Yugioh cards. "W-we don't really know what my other set of cards do." I say pulling out the blank cards holding the back one while looking at Aizawa.

"So these are unknown. Has anything happened with them at all?" Aizawa asks as I shake my head looking at the blank card I had in my hand I begin to think of the Download function I instilled.

Hi there. You're probably confused right now. Well fictional Peanut Gallery I am your good host the Subconscious and I'm about to explain the Download function to you all! The download function is simple the effect downloads a power from another universe to give to the user! Every power has a different requirement, and some even have requirements for powers that don't exist there either! As a freebie the first one picked will always be able to be collected with what is on hand, but only once!

Remember, Blank cards are a balancing issue on top of a mid-match Jenga tower! Every requirement is different so remember them well! This has been the Subconscious informing you, I will be back the next time an unknown function is needing to be explained!

Thinking about it I want something for protection, something that evens the playing field as right now I am squishy and need to either muscle up, or get something that makes my body not convey how strong I am. There is only one thing that I can think of that does that.

Watching as the card shifts I look at Aizawa. "Wait this one just changed!" I say showing him the card reading...

Seeing that it gave me a semblance as well had me excited however I knew it'd take at least 24 hours to do that. "Hmm, none of those things seem too hard to do besides the lifting and bonus objective. Are you sure you want to do this?" Aizawa asks as he looks at me. Nodding I look at the card.

"I- I don't know if it's temporary," Lie, I know it's permanent. "but I want to try it." I say with determination, idly noting Izuma's memories also contributed to the determination. "Even if it is just temporary it proves that this is real and these blank cards aren't nothing." I say holding the first power card in my hand before the rest of the blank cards disappear. Putting the card in my pocket I will it to disappear causing a tattoo to form, visible only to me, on my left hand of a shining star with three empty dots below it. My max "tasks" I can have at a single time, versus what will be active in the star.

"Alright, then lets get started. Lets go back inside Gym Edison, and Nemuri?" He says looking at Midnight who had been talking with Cementoss about the windows. Oops, that is my bad. "Would you make sure Hizashi knows the dragon was on the hero's side. No need for him to be scared of bugs and dragons like some sort of Pokémon." Aizawa-sensei says making me choke on my laughter lest I get caught. I can't face to look at Aizawa though as I know I'll crack up if I look at him. Choosing to look at Midnight I see she is amused and also exasperated expression on her face.

"Yep, I can see it." Midnight responds with a chuckle.

"I can see it as well, Yamada-san has a habit of jumping to conclusions...and screaming." Cementoss says rubbing the...sides of his head? Does he even have ears?

"Good luck with Hizashi." Aizawa says as he walks into the gym causing me to quickly follow as I wave.

Six hours of pure pain later.

I want to die. Does Aizawa's quirk make him more sadistic?! Growling in effort I push the bar over my head one last time before it catches on the rack, not even causing it to shake, as my arms fall to my sides. "H-holy crap my arms are noodles." I mutter in exasperation my eye twitching as my hand glows.

Requirement: Lift a minimum of 260 lbs. for at least an hour within 48 hours. (1/1)

"Get up Midoriya, your going to do a cool down excercise." Aizawa states patting the rack that was in an enclave of the gym. Groaning in pain I get up, quitting not even crossing my mind, as I begin to jog and do as Aizawa says for cooldown.

"So, ungh, question Aizawa-sensei." I ask earning a hum of acceptance, so I continue. "How are we, hah, going to do the bonus objective?" I ask panting, mouth having long since opened and never closed due to how much I've needed to breathe this workout session.

"Well tomorrow two third years are coming to Gym Edison to train, we could hold a combat training there. As long as you are alright with having them touch you behave as you being captured." Aizawa states causing me to nod slowing down as I walk over laying face down on the bench. I swear I hear a snicker but I could've been hearing things. "Then I will inform Togata and Hado of this. Come back here tomorrow and we'll test the combat effectiveness of your cards." Aizawa says as I feel most of them go off cooldown knowing the rest will be off by the time I battle Mirio and Nejire.

"Oh Aizawa-sensei, can you ask them to arrive in their hero costumes?" I ask causing him to raise his eyebrow as I blush. "I uh. I watch the sports festival every year. Mirio Togata has the phasing quirk right? I remember he flashes people whenever he uses his quirk." I explain blushing. That drudged up a memory I did not want to remember. Mom giving me the talk most, I don't dare say all, hero wannabies have that wardrobe malfunctions while not common aren't rare. Having your own mom tell you that you might one day end up half naked at best was so embarrassing I thought I was going to die.

"Surprised you know him by name, he didn't really make it far in either one on one." Aizawa comments while I blush harder.

"I-I'm a...hero nerd. Learning who they are before they go onto the scene helps analyze their quirk and how they can use it better." I say blushing as he looks at me with a smirk. "Whatever! Can you just ask them to come in their hero costumes!" I shout my face much more expressive with my mouth able to be properly seen.

"Alright Problem child, I'll notify them to be in their hero costumes when they arrive." Aizawa says making me nod calming down enough that my mouth feels like it can seal itself. "Tell me Problem child, do you want to put Togata and Hado through a Logical ruse?" I hear Aizawa ask causing me look at him seeing his grin and, despite the pain in my everything, I start to smile too.

"So you mean I can not only meet the winner and Runner-up of the last sports festival...but I get to mess with them too?" I ask grinning even if he can't see it. "Well, I just need to know the plan now Aizawa-sensei."

Thirty Minutes of planning later.

Smiling as I enter UA to get changed I begin to think about what happened today smiling at all the progress I've completed in one day. "Hello!" I hear next to me causing me to yelp as I throw my workout shirt at the source of my surprise missing entirely.

"OH! Principal Nezu! I'm so sorry you startled me." I say putting my hand on my chest. "Did you...need something from me?" I ask looking at him quizzingly as he smiles.

"Why yes! In fact I wished to catch you before you left but it seems my worries of you leaving early were unfounded." Principal Nezu said, although I get the hint of worry. "Tell me Midoriya-chan, have you met All Might before?" He asked making my blood run cold.
