Tenth day after collapse

At the medical center, Padme was already on the verge of giving birth, while the life was draining from her body.

Obi-wan and Anakin were at her side as the medical droids helped her and prepared her for the babies to be born.

Obi-wan could feel a great power in the force, they were twins...

"I understand why you feel this way Padme… they are your children, their power in the force is very high"

A few minutes passed as the contractions became stronger.

"We must act now, if we want to save the babies. She has twins." The medical droid announced.

Taking Padme to the operating room, she screamed in pain, as her children were born.

"It's a girl..." Obi-wan said as he held the newborn baby in his arms.

"Leia…" Padme murmured tiredly.

"A child..." Said the droid holding the baby.

"Luke..." Padme said with her dying breath.

Anakin could feel in the force how Padme's life was diminishing.

"Anakin I feel too weak, I don't have much time left. But our children are fine, that's what matters."

But Anakin shed a few tears for her, as he refused to lose the love of his life.

"No... no Padme, please don't say that... I need you and so do our children. You have to hold on... please."

"Anakin I can't resist anymore, please... Take care of our children..." At that moment, Padme slowly fainted, as her life slipped away.

"No...! I'm not going to lose you like my mother!" Anakin screamed angrily and opened the dyad bond, using all his power, to save his wife.

Senate building

Coruscant

Night (10th day after collapse)

In the Senate building, Palpatine was having a meeting with his closest advisors, to unveil the new imperial structure.

Among them were his confidants who had been imprisoned in the Jedi temple. Sate Pestage, Mas Amedda, among others.

They were in a meeting where they would discuss methods of how to maintain order through military power.

As Palpatine sat on his throne, he stood still for a moment... everyone noticed what was happening.

"Your Majesty... is something wrong with you?" Sate Pestage asked worriedly from his place, while the others watched what was happening.

"Emperor, are you okay...?" Tarkin asked.

"No... everything is fine, we have to continue with the meeting." But before the meeting could continue, Palpatine left the meeting refusing to answer any questions, and Mas Amedda adjourned the meeting for another day.

Returning to his office, he locked himself inside and fell to the floor, taking his head in his hands. A pain inside him grew without stopping... it was the light side that claimed him, while at the same time the dark side held him back.

At that moment he felt how his power through the dyad was used by Anakin, as a result he felt that the light that was inside him invaded him.

In his loneliness, he screamed for the pain he felt. He knew he had to do something about it, but he sensed something interesting through the dyad was transferring his dark nature to Anakin. This is unexpected, this succession of events would bring problems in the future, towards me. Sidious concluded as he determined what Anakin did with him was going to end up being a problem for him.

Anakin was using the power of the dyad, to heal Padmé and preserve her life, suddenly her vital signs returned to normal.

But Anakin's eyes had turned an intense yellow, in that moment... the darkness that was released in Anakin was great, there was a chaos in his being, a darkness that called to him.

After finishing healing Padme, Anakin felt weak and tired and fell to the ground.

Hours after Master Yoda had arrived at the station in a ship. Through the force he could feel what had happened.

"Master Yoda, I know that you came here because of the disturbance in the force that we all feel" Obi-wan put on a serious expression.

"A great power unleashed by the dyad has occurred" I approached the window looking at Senator Amidala sleeping and her children next to her in cribs "Young Skywalker has worked hard to save her, but I sense a serious danger in him boy." Yoda put on a worried expression.

"Master... there is something I feel in the force, and they are survivors. Not all of them have died, I can feel it" Obi-wan felt the presences in the force that were still alive.

"We find ourselves in a dangerous situation, now the entire galaxy has turned its back on the Jedi... for now we must think about what we must do. On the stretcher where Anakin rested, Obi-wan took care of him and feared that his best friend would become a threat equal to or worse than Sidious.

Obi-wan began to meditate, waiting for a response from the force, which will help them resolve this conflict. Concentrated on the force, feeling a presence behind him. When I turned to see the person I couldn't believe who it was.

Anakin was beginning to awaken somewhat weakly, from using the power of the dyad to heal Padme. But when he saw his teacher Obi-wan was surprised to see his former teacher Qui Gon Jin as a force ghost.

He tried to get up with great difficulty due to shock. "Anakin, please don't strain… everything is fine, Padme is still alive." Obi-wan helped Anakin lean on the bed, but Anakin felt a pain in his head and let out a moan of pain and agony.

"I feel it's you, a strange presence..." Qui Gon Jin mentioned when he sensed Anakin's presence. I approached Anakin, feeling his signature strength, confirming what I feared would happen. "Anakin, your life is in danger now, there is darkness in your heart and Sidious introduced it through the dyad. That darkness will grow in you, to the point where it will control your destiny forever..."

"What...? No... but there must be a cure." Anakin kept his hopes alive, this couldn't happen to him, the idea of hurting his children or Padme... he couldn't even imagine it.

"Anakin, both you and I know that once you take the dark path, there is no turning back. You tried to cure Palpatine of the dark side, and you know how that turned out..." Obi-wan could see the expression of sadness and disappointment. on Anakin's face once more.

"Only pure and eternal love can heal the darkness in the heart, that could cure you... but you have to be very strong Anakin."

"But how? I tried it with Palpatine, but it didn't work... I doubt it will work on me..." Making a sad face for not being able to save them all.

"Anakin, we must not lose hope, you are a good person and I believe in you" Obi-wan hugged Anakin as consolation, if his master did not lose hope he would not either.

Anakin is in grave danger, Sidious's darkness across the dyad is invading his light, while the light invades Sidious' dark Sith nature.
