A/N: I want to point out I started this, story earlier in the Fall than I did with my other crossover: Arashi Uzumaki of the Blue Plague, but still no where in the beginning, so if you want to know what happened in Blue Plague series before the point I used, you got to read the actual books. Just don't let kids read it.

I'm also censoring curse words as it's too many used in more than just saying usual ways that I can't ignore them all. At least with censoring I'm not going against my usual way of avoiding curse wordsof the Blue Plague series Tomas W. Watson, whose wife is Tina Watson. I should also tell you Watson always based a character after himself in his books, and in the Blue Plague series that's Bruce.

Finally, I don't own the Blue Plague series or the Naruto series or it's characters. But I do know the wife of the writer of the Blue Plague series Tomas W. Watson, whose wife is Tina Watson. I should also tell you Watson always based a character after himself in his books, and in the Blue Plague series that's Bruce.

if you see letters with '-' that's me sensoring curse words in case none of you realized that.

Team Omega is Formed

Night before christmas was one of Naruto's busiest. He unsealed every present they had so Bruce and Mike can loaded them up in the trucks. Once that was done, Bruce and Mike backed the trucks to the west doorway. Then they wrapped blankets around the back so they could open the door of the truck and leave the door to open and not freeze everyone.

After the dance, Naruto had talked to Millie about having a specifically made present for Sai for the next time he had to go casual. Millie had promised Naruto she would have it ready for Christmas along with the gifts for the twins, Cade and PJ.

That morning Naruto invited Sai to sit at the command table with the rest of Team Kakashi, which no one argued against. Pretty much the clan had grown use to Sai's way of socializing. Kankaro had also been invited as Temari's brother. Bruce had said told Kankaro and Sai they were welcome as family of the command group but they had turned it down. Ino Choji were invited as Shikamaru's teammates just as Sai was.

When Bruce and his family came in, there were cheers sounded off. The adults cheered thanks for saving them while the kids were cheering for presents.

Paul ran to the podium that was put up when they expanded the hall. IT was connected to a speaker system so the entire hall could hear someone speaking. Grabbing the microphone, Paul tapped it to get everyone's attention, "Merry Christmas!" Paul said, and the hall responded the same. "Before presents are passed out, I just want to say something. I don't know what is fixing to be passed out any more than you do, but I'm sure some of it will require power. Each room in the barracks has four outlets now and that is all each room is allowed. No one is allowed to use more. That means each side of a room can only use four items that require power. Please, when you are not using it, turned it off. Next, I found an incandescent bulb in barrack three bathroom yesterday. I don't know where it came from and don't care, but I better not find any more. We've seen a huge increase in power consumption, and I better not find out people are wasting power. Now Bruce, tell us how we are to proceed."

Bruce walked over to Mike. "You take care of the speech today."

Mike gave Bruce an alarmed look as he blurted out, "This was your idea."

"I'm not in the mood today. You do it," Bruce said heading to the west door.

Mike didn't have to as Naruto stepped up after seeing Bruce heading away from the podium. "Okay we have something for everyone here. Several things, in fact. Now, we are going to call out names. When your name is called, come up and get your present, and take them back to your table, but don't open them until everyone has gotten their presents. Now without further ado, Merry Christmas from the family to the clan. We hope you enjoy."

Naruto, Sai, Sakura, Yamato, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, Akamaru, Shino, Hinata, Temari, and Kankaro helped Bruce passed out the presents, which speed things up. Each room was given a 40-inch LED TV, an X-Box, DVD player, laptop, and a copy of Call of Duty. They had gotten a lot of games from the stores, but Bruce demanded that everyone have a copy of Call of Duty so he could play online again with the intranet Jake and Matt had made for the clan. The withdrawals were killing him. The other games would be kept in the library that was put in the new school building. Movies and books were also going to be stored in the library.

Debbie had demanded that every adult with a kid get a camera, and they handed out four hundred digital cameras. The kids that had requested toys all had gotten what they asked for. To get ready for Christmas, Joe Harry and Kankaro had put together over a hundred bikes. Sai had Naruto find the twins an artist kit and drawing pads much to their delight.

As Naruto figured, Ino and many girls cheered when they recieved dresses.

Millie walked over to the family table and carrying five wrapped up bundles and gave one to Naruto and four to Bruce. Bruce looked up at her. These are from you, not me, Millie. You give them to the kids."

Millie grabbed the packages and passed them to the kids, Emily, Sherry, and Cade tore into the paper, squealing as they pulled out small sets of ACUs like the rest of the family wore. PJ was just chewing on his present, but Debbie helped him open it to find his set also. PJ didn't care; he just wanted the paper. Stephanie reached over and pulled the wrapping out of his mouth. PJ scowled at her and yelled. Stephanie put the paper back on his highchair and PJ started attacking it.

"Thank you, Millie," Debbie said, hugging her.

"It was Bruce's idea," Millie said.

"Here Sai. I asked Millie to make this for you," Naruto said handing Sai his package. Sai opened it to find it was shirt similar to the ones he wore in the elemental nations, except the shirt goes down to his waste.

"Now you can dress similar to what you wore in the elemental nations without expose skin," Naruto said.

"Thank you, Naruto. I appreciate this." Sai responded. "I got something for you and Sakura too."

Sai slid two presents to Sakura and Naruto. They opened it to find it was a copy of Sai's picture book except on the side that was meant for Sai's brother, Naruto's had a drawn image of him and Sakura's was of herself.

"I had asked Stephanie about this photo copy thing I heard about and asked her to photocopy just the part involving me, and change the features involving my brother to blank facial features so I can draw in you and Sakura instead," Sai said, "That way I didn't have to redraw the entire book."

"Sai, this is..." Sakura said.

"Thanks Sai," Naruto responded as both knew how much the picture book Sai made for his brother meant.

Seeing Sai was happy with his present, Millie turned and headed to the kitchen.

"Hey woman, come back here," Bruce called out. Millie spun around, putting her hands on her hips and looking at Bruce.

Bruce reached down, pulled up a box, and handed it to Millie. Millie opened the lid, and tears came to her eyes as she pulled out a plaque. On the plaque was a brass plate and two brass hooks. The plate read, "To Millie, one of the best people I know and a member of my family that I love dearly. Bruce Wayne WIlliams P.S. Don;t touch her spoon." Millie pulled out a thick wooden spoon that sat on the hooks.

"You give her a spoon? Afterall the ones we stole?" Mike cried out.

Bruce pointed to Mike. "He made me do it."

Millie laughed. "I gues I should tell you, your wives always brought them back the next day."

Whipping his head around, Bruce looked at Debbie who was just looking up at the ceiling. "Not just that wife," Millie informed him. Bruce turned around in his chair to find Angela and Stephanie looking up at the ceiling with Debbie. Millie left them, laughing and hugging her present, which she hung in the kitchen later.

When everyone started carrying off presents, Naruto and Sai was about to do the same with theirs when Bruce called out. "Hold on Naruto, I still got something in the kitchen!"

Naruto sighed and summoned a shadow clone to help Sai. Bruce ran off into the house and Debbie had everyone wait a bit before going inside themselves. On the kitchen table there sixteen presents covered in sheets each with a card with a name on them at each present

"Move to the spot on the table that has a card with your name on it," he said, waving his hand around the table.

Naruto found his spot after Marry. Bruce asked them to pick the cards up, which they did. Bruce grabbed the sheet and pulled it off. Lying on the table in front of each person was a samurai sword. Naruto's jaw dropped as he picked up his new sword.

"Bruce--" Debbie started after examining and stopped, looking back at the sword.

Jake pulled his sword halfway out of the scabbard and looked at Bruce, screaming, "Holy s-! Dad! These are real!"

"I know," Bruce replied.

Mindy looked at hers and asked, "What's the difference?"

Stephanie answered, not even pulling her sword out, 'These are handmade from the forge to the scabbard. They cost more than most house and are sharper than a surgical scalpel."

Mike looked up at Bruce. "Dude, where did you get these?"

"There was a private seller outside of Polk, and I visited his stock," Bruce replied smiling.

Stephanie grabbed Angela, who had her sword halfway out and was fixing to test the edge with her thumb. "Don't do that," Stephanie warned.

Bruce smiled and pulled out his sword, holding it out in front of him over the table with the edge pointing up. Reaching into his pocket, Bruce pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and held it over the sword. Letting the handkerchief fall, the family watched as it drift down, falling across the blade, cutting itself into two pieces. Gasps of astonishment came from around the table. Those who ha dnot trained with a sword and had taken them out carefully put them back in the scabbards.

"I want to learn how to use it," Mindy declared.

"Me too!" Buffy yelled out.

"Sai uses swords as part of his ANBU Root Training. I'll see if he can teach me," Naruto decided as he wanted to test out his wind and lightning chakra with his new sword and knew Bruce couldn't teach him anything like that.

"I'll use a gun," Angela stated, looking at the handkerchief.

"You of all people have seen that you can run out of ammo. With these you can fight and still keep your distance from the blues," Bruce advised Angela.

Angela looked at Bruce. "I think these are more dangerous than a gun."

"Yes, I can see that," Bruce replied, "but like any weapon, you have to learn to use it and respect it."

After they talked some more, the family put up their presents, except for Naruto who strapped his new sword to his back before returning to the hall for breakfast.

"Naruto, is that a sword strapped to your back?" Sakura asked seeing Naruto.

"Not just any sword, a samurai sword. Bruce gave each of us one," Naruto said. "Hey Sai, I'm going to need you to teach me whatever sword technique you know from the ANBU Root."

"Well I can teach you sword techniques, I can't teach you anything from the root," Sai said.

"What? Why?" Naruto asked.

"It's Roots secret. It can't be shared--literally. See--" Sai opened his mouth revealing his tongue showing what look like a tattoo of a zipper halfway zipped up. "Danzo has all Root members sealed with this so as long as he's alive, we can't share any root secret."

"Typical. Even in another universe Danzo finds a way to keep his secrets," Naruto complained.

"What's wrong?" Mike asked.

Naruto told Mike and the family what Sai just revealed.

"I haven't even met this Danzo guy and I already hate him," Bruce complained. "Thanks for bringing this up Sai. At least we now know there are Root secrets you can't share and why."

Joe and Harry, with their families behind them, came over to Bruce carrying something wrapped in blanket. Joe handed Bruce a small bundle wrapped in a towel. "I finally finished it," he said proudly as Bruce unwrapped the object.

Bruce looked at the push dagger he had been working on several weeks ago and then realized it was not the same one. It was much lighter and on the hilt was a cinch strap to tighten the hilt to his forearm. It sat in a canvas sheath with straps.

Harry gave Naruto a similar wrapped present and Naruto unwrapped it to find it was kunai knife version of a push dagger where as the kunai knife was in place of the dagger.

"It's made from harden steel. You can use it as a pry bar if you need to, Kankaro actually worked on Naurto's so the kunai is trigger by a seal so we don't have to worry about a sheath," Joe explained as Bruce. Then Joe handed Bruce the one Bruce had made. Looking at the weapons sie by side, Bruce wanted to cry. The one he had worked on looked like a piece of c- compared to the one Joe had made.

"You have to teach me how to do this," Bruce pleaded, looking at Joe.

"I can do that," Joe said as Harry then gave a blanket-wrapped object to Bruce and one to Mike. Bruce took his bundle and unwrapped it to find a SCAR.

"It's not one of yours," Harry said, "Debbie let us take two out of the armory. The suppressor is our creation. All the ones so far are just screwed onto the barrel, adding another six inches, so what's the point of having a short barrel? These new ones slide over the barrel and only extend three inches. They are actually longer than the other two by two inches but only weigh four ounces more than the others. The main difference is the old suppressors brought the decibel to around one hundred and thirty. These suppressors will bring the decibel to just over a hundred. You also notice this barrel is a little heavier, so it will take longer to overheat."

Bruce was drooling over the weapon. He looked up, grining, "Can you make more?"

"Already started," Harry said proudly.

Bruce looked down at Mike who was caressing his new toy. Looking back at his, Bruce turned it over in his hands to see Harry and Joe had made the SCAR true selective fire just like his: single shot, three-round burst, and full auto. Bruce fought the urge to head to the armory to put a reflex sight, ACOG scope, grenade launcher, and the rest of his goodies on it. Instead, Bruce stood up and hugged Joe and Harry.

Debbie watched Bruce, who was smiling as he hugged Joe and Harry. True to form, give the boys new toys and the world was good to them. The command crew stayed in the hall until after lunch and then went to the house for a quick Friday meeting.

Sakura announced that the survivors they pulled in were on road of recovery, but it be a bit of time before they can start working at full strength with the rest of the clan and recommended that all survivors have a mandatory check up and if doctor authorize it, a two week recovery time before they start pulling their own weight in work for the clan. After two weeks the member has to have a follow up appointment to see if they need more recovery time but after that it has to be reported to her and command group so that person won't get in any trouble. It was approved unanimously.

Willie announced that the recruit were ready, and Bruce said they would start the survivor patrols. Then Bruce announced that it was time to start pacifying the area and starting Monday, hunting patrols would start. Not wanting to miss his Monday, he said his patrol would head out Tuesday. Paul announced that they were going to start to work on clearing the area around the farm back three hundred yards. When the meeting was over, the command group headed back inside the hall.

Before supper, Jake announced that everyone would be able to play their games on the intranet he and Matt had built for the farm and that Saturday was Call of Duty night. Bruce was the first one up, jumping up and down yelling, pumping his fist in the air and dancing around the table.

"Bruce correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that the game you played while your shoulder was healing?" Naruto asked.

"That's different. With the intranet we can play against others in the clan. Playing with others is more fun," Bruce said.

"Jake I'm going to need your help setting up mine and Sai's system and stuff. We have TVs back in our world, but flat scenes much less X-Box," Naruto said. "I might as well see what the deal of this game is."

"Sure thing Naruto," Jake said.

After the meeting Jake headed to Naruto's and Sai's room to help set their system up.

Saturday morning, Naruto was up to his usual morning routine. Bruce had not showed up for breakfast, so Debbie Stephanie and Angela volunteered to bring food out to him.

Sai was giving Naruto his first sword lesson when Bruce came over the radio: "Attention. This is Big Daddy One. The following people need to report to the shop; Ted, Carl, David, Buffy, Danny, Jake, Connor, Steve, and Naruto. If you have one of those names that I called, you know if I mean you or not."

"Sorry Sai, we'll have to hold this off for another time," Naruto said leaving.

Naturally Naruto was the first of the ten to show up. At the table was nine mask, tactical helmets, and tactical gloves, as well as seven shin guards sets Bruce himself was wearing the gear displayed.

"Okay everyone, from now on this is Omega team. We're going to start hunting the blues down and will be the primary strike team for the clan. We will be the tip of the spear."

"I take it then the clan is finally building its own military force?" Naruto asked.

"That's right. Naruto." Bruce said. "With that being said, does anyone not want to be on this team? There will be no repercussions if you don't want to be on it." Bruce looked at everyone, seeing if anyone wanted to leave. When no one left, Bruce continued.

"On this table is the gear you'll wear. I'm replacing the glasses with goggles, which will be worn unless I say otherwise. From now on, I want ballistic plates in all tactical vest," he told them, getting a lot of groans. "Danny, go get the black shin guards you used to wear playing softball. Everyone else get your gear off the table. Until I make a second team, you are to have your gear next to you at all times, at least in a pack. We are going to work on room clearance and reaction drills today. Tuesday we go to war and get some," Bruce announced.

As Danny went to get the shin guards, everyone put on their tactical gear. Danny soon returned and handed the shin guards to Buffy.

"Now as far as weapons, everyone except Buffy, Naruto and David and Steve will have grenade launchers. Buffy, when you cna handle the extra weight, you'll carry one. Steve and David you'll carry SAWs. Naruto, after watching what you did to that mob at Shreveport I don't think you need a grenade launcher. Everyone except Jake and Naruto will carry a submachine gun. Jake, you will carry a sniper rifle. Naruto, you can act as his spotter if ever needed. Danny, you have to trade in your Galil for an M-4 or a SCAR, your choice. Naruto, although I don't exect you to carry a submachine gun, I do expect you to carry extra ammo for your teammates. Everyone will carry a pistol, and it will be a .45 or 9mm. Everything will be supressed, no exceptions. From now on, the Strykers will have drivers and gunners, so we just have to go and kill stuff. Look at my vest setup; I'm ammo heavy, just as you should be. I have twenty four magazines on my vest for primary, four for my pistol, four for my P-90, four hand grenades, one flash bang and eight rounds for my grenade launcher. Now, those that need weapons, follow me. Those that need extra pouches for your vest, follow Danny. We meet at the range in one hour," Bruce said. He grabbed his helmet.

Since Naruto was only assigned a pistol which Bruce had given him before, Naruto followed Danny. Bruce had Danny get Little SCAR out of his room. The rest of the team besides Naruto chose M-4A1s with M-203's and Mp-7s. Sidearms were where e v eryone took something different, but all were either .45 or 9mm and could take a suppressor. Joe and Harry had made suppressors for M-4s like they made for Bruce's SCAR. It slid over the barrel almost to the hand guard before you screwed in on, only adding two inches to the overall length of the barre.

Naruto joined Danny in the supply room with everyone else to get ammo. Naruto packed extra ammo to substitute for weapons. At 1000, the team was on the range, sighting weapons as the trio showed up to join. After they were finished, Bruce formed up a patrol line, making Max stay beside him. Bruce had Naruto watch their back with his sense of smell since he had Max up front. They assault the barn, Naruto throwing in one of his ninja smoke bombs, before they storm in, scaring the s- out of the pilots and the class they were teaching. Next they stormed the hall, then the house. By then word had spread, so they were not giving people heart attacks.

Bruce led the team back to the hall for lunch, stopping them out front. "That was fair," Bruce lied. The team had done awesome. "I want micro cams on everyone after lunch. From now on, they are to stay on you. Jake take ca re of it. Weapons cleaned and we start up after we eat.

Naruto quickly clean his pistol before joining Bruce at the command table. Mike came in and walked over to Bruce. "Hey!" He shouted. "Y'all almost gave us a heart attack, with that smoke bomb and storming into the room lik that. I was in the simulator. You made me crash!"

"Sorry, dude. We were working on entry techniques and Naruto thought smoke bombs make it more interesting, and I have to agree." Bruce replied as Debbie, Angela, and Stephanie came over and sat down.

"Brother, you have a radio. Let others know," Mike commanded as he turned around and headed to his seat.

"Be glad they didn't use a flash bang instead of a smoke grenade, because several people wanted to," Angela stated, looking at Stephanie.

"It says to flash bang before entry in the books Bruce gave to me," Stephanie replied defending her request to use a flash bang.

"If you would've flash banged us, I would have s- a purple Twinkies and died on the spot," Mike declaired, looking at Stephanie.

"Along with Max," Bruce added.

"That's why I requested smoke bomb instead," Naruto said.

Mike put his hands over his face and shook his head.

Bruce laughed, asking Mike, "How are your lessons coming?"

"Pretty good. My first flight is scheduled January 12," Mike smirked.

"Mine is scheduled for sixth," Bruce informed Mike, who lost his smirk.

"I'll find somethign that I can beat you at," Mike replied.

"Call of Duty tonight," Bruce challenged.

"You're so dead."

Bruce laughed but he had a strange feeling he was going to get his a- kicked tonight. "Mike I want you to build a ten man team for a second strike team. You can have only one ninja at most in it. Name it whatever you want except Omega. That's my team," Bruce instructed.

"Why didn't you name it alpha?" Mike inquired.

"I refused to have my team referred as the 'A-team'," Bruce replied and Mike nodded in understanding.

"Okay, my team will be Gamma, and since Paul doesn't need him as much these days, I'll take Yamato if he agrees," Mike said.

"That's fine with me," Yamato said. "That way you can call on Mike to send me if Naurto looses control."

Bruce nodded as he forgot about that. After lunch, he told Mike to let the command group know there was a meeting at 1600. Omega team, with the trio worked until 1600 on tactics before Bruce let them go.

Naruto headed to his bunker to strip of his gear before heading back to the house's game room for the meeting.

Once everyone was there situated, Bruce stood up. "Everyone, I wanted to go over some things real quick because we cut the last meeting short for Christmas. Are all the new supply bunkers full?" Bruce asked.

"No, only one through eleven, and eleven is only half full. The rest are empty," Stephanie repled.

"Leave them empty. We are going to east Texas to the military supply depot. They store large amount of ammo there. No weapons, but a s- load of ammo."

"Bruce, it was sixty degrees outside today. We can't risk heading there now. We go by too many large cities," Mike said from his chair.

"We aren't going now, but when we have another cold spell. Omega team is going hunting starting Tuesday, and I don't want to disappoint the team," Bruce replied with cocky attitude. This caused Mike to start rubbing his temples in an attempt to stop the impending headache.

"Bruce, please don't start going crazy," Mike pleaded.

"I'm not. We're going to wipe out every blue in a fifty mile radius of the farm. Jake and Matt, show them what I'm talking about," Bruce replied, pointing at the two.

Matt stood up and walked over the map hanging over the fireplace. "We have found several packs around us. The closest is ten miles to the southeast, holding up in a barn. Then in several small villages we found more packs holding up. Since the weather has warmed up, they are moving around again."

"Which means they been stirring for a while," Naruto said remembering the research he looked up on Blue Hibernation.

"What are the average sizes of the packs?" Willie asked.

"Twenty or thirty, in most cases. Some larger. Only a few are smaller," Jake said, standing up and walking over to the map.

"How many packs have you found so far?" Stephanie inquired.

"Sixty-two so far," Jake replied.

"That's about one thousand two-hundred and forty to one thousand eight hundred and sixty total," Shikamaru added.

"Give or take the differences from the smaller packs." Temari added.

"Yes, but we are finding more every day," Jake said.

"As they wake up, they start hunting. It only makes sense," Naruto responded. "Natural response for any animal after long sleep is to eat."

Paul looked at Bruce in disbelief. "So with your ten man team, you're going to hunt down thousands of blues?" he asked.

"No. We're going to wipe them out," Bruce corrected as everyone stared at him. Bruce returned the stare as he explained, "We can't risk them forming up in a mob to hit us, so we are going to hunt them down while these other patrols bring in the survivors that have been located. And if we have to we will use Naruto's strongest jutsus to obliterate them, but I rather we save that when all other choices is out."

"What about the ones in Shreveport? You said there are over 400,000 in Shreveport," Willie pointed out.

"We don't have enough ammo, which is why we are going to east Texas when it turns cold again. Then I have to account for the fact that we don't have the trained manpower for that undertaking. Next winter, though, will be a different story." Bruce answered.

"Just what exactly do you have plan?" Sakura asked.

"I want to create a fifty mile radius aroundus that is cleared out of blues. As we have been watching them, they are getting smarter still. Jake has video footage where a lone blue found a field of cows, then went back to gather his pack. That pack merged with another pack and in a combined force, they attacked the cows. I really don't want one to see us and go and tattle to any other blues."

"Bruce, we have UAVs up at all times, the big ones and the little ones. We see any that come close and kill all that come within three miles of the farm," Mike replied, still rubbing his temples.

"It only takes one," Bruce replied, looking at Mike. "This year we are going to work on the fifty mile safety zone. Next winter we will push that out to a hundred. With a hundred mile zone around us, we can live without the constant fear of being overrun."

"Then what? Go out fifty miles every year?" Mike asked, getting worried.

"No, that will be our border. Anything that comes into it that is not a friend will be slaughtered," Bruce responded as Mike started rubbing his temples again.

"That's better than pushing fifty ever year," Naruto said.

"Thank you Naruto. Not to mention, we will be able to engage threats in a location of our choosing. If it is a gang of marauders, we can fight them without having to worry about blues showing up to party they weren't invited to," Bruce pointed

"That's still over thirty thousand square miles for us to control," Stephanie informed him.

Before Bruce could reply, Willie howled. "It takes a minimum of a division to control an area that size!"

"Willie, put a tampon in and stow it!" Bruce yelled, then calmed down. "That's our order of battle. Once we have everyone, we will send out hundred-strong patrol units to keep the area pacified. It's not like we have anything else to do besides kill blues."

Debbie stood up, seeing that Bruce was p-. "Bruce, what I think everyone is saying, why don't we wait until we have more trained before we start pacifying the area?"

"No, I have made my decision. We start Tuesday, end of discussion," Bruce replied, ending the argument.

"At least add more more from the other ninja here, Bruce," Yamato said. "Naruto and I alone on each team can only do so much. Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Hinata, Kiba, and Shino easy can help pacify the areas and in time with experience I'm sure Konohamaru Moegi and Udon can too."

"Yamato, I plan to recruit the other ninjas, and they can choose between Gamma or Omega, but I want to make sure we have strong soldiers from this world ready to fight too," Bruce said. "I want to make sure our enemies know when we fight, we can fight with and without the need of jutsus and chakra." Bruce explained. "Now, how are we coming in gathering survivors."

"We have all the ones inside the fifty mile radius that wanted to come with us. We have found more outside the radius, and I'm happy to say the numbers are encouraging. Matt and I estimate over twelve hundred in east Louisiana, western Mississippi, and southern Arkansas. He haven't looked west or south yet because of the concentration of blues. We saw a horde moving along interstate ten from Houston, so anything to our south is toast. Dalas is so close, so that's why we haven't looked west. The survivors we have found we can help," Jake disclosed.

"Good thinking, son." Bruce replied. "Monday, start sendign a single patrol of twenty to see if they want to join us."

"We have one group to our southeast, near Bordelonville, that looks real big. Like us, they are on a farm. They have moved semitrailers around them to make a fence. They don't appeared to be a gang with all the kids we have seen and everyone moves around freely." Matt relayed.

"That's a good ways off. I hope they aren't the closest," Bruce stated.

"H- no! We have twenty to thirty locations just between here and there. That doesn't count for the ones to our east and north."

Bruce just looked at Paul making Paul replied. "Barrack six is complete and seven and eight will be done by the end of the week. The perimeter is almost finished except the ramps for the vehicles to fire over the wire. Wednesday we are starting to cut back the perimeter, starting on the northside first since we only have a clearing there of fifty yards. I also want to do that side first because that d- creak is full of gators now and they don't do much when it is cold, and Naruto refuse to negotiate with them."

"Hey, they're cold blooded, it's not their fault they can't handle the cold" Naruto asked. "I bet you I can summon one of my toad summonings and they can tell you they don't like doing anything in the cold much less fighting. They can't sustain body heat like foxes."

Bruce nodded as he can't argue against that logic. Debbie stood back up. "Bruce wants to start committees in the clan. These will just be to report to the command group. These will address things like morale, barrack life, basic wants and needs, and suggestions. I like the idea because it takes the burden off us. Are there any objections?"

"We should make it those that are in the command group that are living in the barracks can't be voted as one of the committee," Naruto said. "If anything the committee member can act as our second in keeping control of that barrack."

"I agree with Naruto, work is too troublesome enough as part of the command group," Shikamaru said.

"Fair enough," Debbie said. "Anything else?"

Danny jumped up. "If that b- Jenny Green is put on any committee, I promise she will disappear in hours," she promised.

"I nominate Jenny Green for committee," Jake said. Debbie grabbed a book off the coffee table and threw it at him.

Bruce laughed as he asked Paul. "How long until the perimeter is cleared?"

"One week, ten days at most." Paul answered.

"That's good," Bruce replied, turning to Willie. "I want a group of thirty people so I can train them to fire the eight mortars we have."

"I already have a team ready for each one. Two mortars in each pit, a 120mm and an 81mm. Four pits each covering a direction north, east south, and west." Seeing the shocked look on Bruce's face, Willie shot back. "You know I'm a ranger also."

"Bout time you acted like it. Now I just need to make you insane," Bruce smirked.

"After a few more months under you and I'll be there," Willie remarked.

Bruce laughed as he asked. "When will they be set up?"

"Moday we dig the pits and set them up. When it gets cold again I want to let the team fire off a few shots," Willie answered.

"What about Shikamaru's back up team?" Bruce asked.

"I was thinking as soon as we have people trained on the MRLs and Patriots, we can use them as part of the backup team to send to an area incase of a focus attack," Shikamaru said. "That way we can easy move them into place if needed."

"Sounds good. Anybody have anything else to add?" Bruce asked.

"Yes, Dad. I have an idea for us to keep track of people here," Jake said as he ran upstairs.

When he returned, he was holding a piece of black nylon belt with a white piece of cloth sewn into it. "This is what I had in mind. On the cloth we can put a bar code so people can scan before workouts and meals," Jake replied.

"How long to implement that?" Bruce asked.

"Well with me on schedule for three patrols this weekm and Matt will be running the UAVs for us. Then when I'm in, I run them for his or patrol. It will take us a few weeks."

Stephanie stood up. "I'll do it and have it ready by this week," she said confidently.

"Stephanie, I know you're pretty good with computers, but--" Jake started.

"What, you don't think I can interface the spreadsheet programs with an algorithm parameter?" Stephanie said, and then continued for another ten minutes using words none of them understood. When she was finished, jake looked at her in bewilderment.

Bruce was in shock watching Jake sit down. "I've never seen someone shut you up when it comes to computers, son."

Jake never took his eyes off Stephanie as he replied. "How can I argue? I have no idea what she was talking about in the last half of her speech."

"She lost me at spreadsheet programs," Naruto admitted.

"I didn't understand any of it," Mike admitted.

"Neither did I. Any more questions?" Bruce asked.

With no other questions, the meeting broke up and everyone headed to the hall for supper. Bruce had left to talk to Joe and Harry about something. At one point Joe shouted, "I don't care what you wear, just make sure you can take it off!" getting a lot of attention.

Bruce came back to his chair.

"I don't even want to know," Naruto decided picking up his tray and headed to where the rest of his friends sit.

"So Naruto, you part of some military now?" Choji asked.

"Yeah. Bruce wanted to start off with just me and train more clans members before he recruit anymore ninjas," Naruto said. "Mike already recruited Captain Yamato for his team."

"Makes sense," Shino said, "Enemy might think of the rest of the clan as week if they just rely on us."

Loud laughter roared from the command table.

"I'll ask Sakura tomorrow," Naruto decided.

After supper everyone headed off to their bunks for Call of Duty. Most have never played, but the way the family talked about it, be d- if they were going to miss it out. Even the ninjas had someone set up their systems just as Naruto and Sai did to give it a go.

A/N: I said I would get Naruto a sword in this series and now he has one. True it's a samurai sword but considering Naruto is in a world jutsu he knows doesn't exist, just be happy he has a sword.
