The Betrayal - Part 7
The Jedi and Clones were doing their final check, the final troop count was 5000 clones, 250 temple guards and 5 jedi Masters. This included Master Plo Koon, Master Cin Drallig, Master of The Order Mace Windu and Grandmaster Yoda. Yoda was meditating in the back corner of the room. He could feel Skywalkers Presence slowly fading, he felt darkness and through it all the hope of everyone present. He knew that if it came to it, He would sacrifice himself for Skywalker and everyone else's safe return. All of a sudden he was thrown through a powerful force vision where he saw a Green Warrior wielding a green lightsaber and using the force. He woke up from his vision stunned, he didn't know what happened but whatever happened it was what the force was willing the happen. He felt a rush of fear flow through him.
The Old Grandmaster rose from his meditation and walked over to the Portal in the middle of the room and reached his hand out, He felt skywalkers presence even stronger and fuelled his will that he will be safe, The Master of the Order walked next him and felt the him increase of will coming from the other side. Meanwhile on the other side of the portal, Hal Jordan. The Green Lantern of Sector 2814 felt a huge decrease in his own will, He knew what he was doing would lead to his death. But he was willing to do it for the betterment of Earth. He reconstructed the Blade the warrior from another universe bought with him, this time with a Kryptonite Crystal inside. He ignited it, it worked. He then walked to the cell where Anakin Skywalker was being held and opened the door, Handing him the blade.
"I upgraded it, It's time for you to go home." He looked at Anakin with a look of sadness in his eyes.
"How did you upgrade it? And why are you helping me?" He responded with confusion in his eyes
"I replaced the crystal inside with one that can kill Superman" What he's doing to this world is wrong.
Hal then felt a wave of will fuel the Visitor from another galaxy. He bought his ring up to his face and muttered
"My name is Hal Jordan of Sector 2814. And I am not worth of being a Green Lantern"
With those words left the Ring floated of his finger and hovered in front of Skywalker, Anakin Skywalker of unknown sector, You have shown the ability to overcome great fear, You show great will. Welcome to the GREEN LANTERN CORPS!
Anakin felt the ring slide onto his finger as he felt himself beat all of his fears. He felt at peace. He didn't fear loss and he didn't fear anything or anyone.
"What does this do?" He asked the now Normal Hal Jordan
"Anything you think of, will appear as the Green Energy of Will. But remember your constructs are only as strong as your will" Hal responded
"What will you do now?" Skywalker asked
"I will accept my fate as a traitor to the regime." Jordan replied with a fiery burn in his eyes "Now go Green Knight".
An alarm blared out as Skywalker looked at Jordan with a smile and he ran away towards his way home. Little did he know the Jedi Task Force was leaking into Star Labs through the portal. He heard shouting and he saw The Jedi and The Clones holding back the regime. He ran through the corridor even faster as he ignited his now Green Lightsaber and Slashed through the Regimes Troopers. The Regime saw him and then immediately knew they had a traitor amongst them. Yoda looked at Skywalker. He was the Warrior dressed in green that he saw in his vision, he then knew his purpose. He cast a force bubble around the task force and pushed them back through the portal and then releasing the bubble stopped Skywalker from grabbing him and pushing the Green Knight through the portal before bringing the roof down around it crushing him as The Flash sped the regime away from the now collapsing corridor
