November Day 10

The Kazama family and Genji trio were on their way to school with me and Yoshitsune several steps ahead of them

"Yoshitsune, how did things go with Benkei?" I lowered my voice to a whisper

"Yoshitsune did it like we discussed, if anything she is worried about you, Yamato."

On the day she asked us that question both of us decided we would act like nothing happened. It would be one thing if it only affected me and Yoshitsune but putting Benkei in such a tight spot wasn't really necessary.

I would maybe stop asking her if she could give us some alone time and other things along with that but not so much that I would stop hanging out at the laze about club.

I needed to maintain my relationships more than ever now that I was going out with Yoshitsune.

"I will be okay, don't worry. By the way Yoshitsune, you asked me to teach you how to handle your retainers better, right? You want me to do it here and now?"

"Yeah please do!" she said with enthusiasm.

"Yoichi is a little bit hard but Benkei should be easier. With her, you just have to spoil her."

"Spoil? Now that you say it, Benkei is the one who usually ends up spoiling Yoshitsune." she changed her from thinking to an adorable smile "Yamato, you have to teach Yoshitsune how to spoil Benkei."

"Well, she is a girl who likes taking it easy. IIRC you were telling her not to drink Kawakami water, right?"

"Yes, but Benkei just doesn't listen."

"How about you keep warning her but not as often?"

"Y-Yoshitsune doesn't understand how it would make her listen."

"I'm not making wording it very good am I? Now, instead of telling her not to drink and only watch when she does it how about you accompany her? You don't have to drink or anything, you just have to bring some snacks that go well with the Kawakami Water and praise her or pat her head. If you do this every once in a while she will take it way better than being told she shouldn't do it."

She widened her eyes and lifted her eyebrows "Wow, Onii-chan, that's amazing. Yoshitsune had never thought of that! Please teach her more!"

She was so happy and cute that I found myself patting her head.

"Now, now, I will teach you but only one at a time, alright? You have to complete the first step first."

"Hmm~"

"Would you like to try it in laze about club today?"

"Awawawa, Yamato, that's a little early. Besides, Yoshitsune doesn't have any snacks with her either."

She squeezed back.

Walking to school was a wonderful thing.
