The next day Mimikyu was woken up by Eva
All the others were already awake but Ava was nowhere to be seen
"Come on Mimikyu, time for breakfast" Eva said as she gave a sweet smile
Mimikyu just sat up and gave a mental shake to himself, not that anyone would notice if he was a little off
As the they headed into the kitchen Mimikyu spotted out of the corner of his eye Cerul grabbing Eva's arm and whispering something into her ear
8 bowls were set up on the floor across the kitchen floor beneath a table where Emma was having breakfast herself
Like the beds each bowl varied by size and color
Cerul got a purple bowl
Eva had a green one
Flor had a pink one
Star had a white bowl
Avid had dark pink bowl
Flare and Spark shared a large red bowl
And a black bowl was assumifly left for Ava
A dark faded red bowl was offered to Mimikyu by Emma's foot who shoved it towards Mimikyu
Emma then proceeded to pour colorful little balls of food into the bowls and Mimikyu had to admit, it was good
It was sweet with a pleasant aftertaste and had the texture of an apple
All the Pokémon and Emma seemed entranced every time Mimikyu stuck his hand out to grab some food
Noone said anything and Ava joined the group 3 minutes later but said nothing
Noone asked so no answers were given
When breakfast had finished Emma left for work and left Mimikyu alone with the other Pokémon
Everyone seemed to split up with some staying inside while others like Flare and Spark raced outside to play
Mimikyu decided now was a good enough time as any to practice some of the abilities he'd been given
More specifically he wanted to master his teleportation as that seemed the most useful to him
He wandered a small bit into the forest behind the house and attempted to teleport onto a small boulder a few meters away
Every now and then he became aware of heavy footprints like that of Cerul sneakily approaching and sometimes there was a twig snap somewhere in the trees
They were definitely spying on him
Despite the distractions Mimikyu kept trying and trying to teleport even a little but as time rolled by and Emma returned from her job in the evening he hadn't made any progress at all
As emma walked in the door she called Mimikyu over
Confused Mimikyu looked at her and Emma revealed a present she'd gotten Mimikyu
From behind her back she pulled out a largish navy dog bed with the ghost type symbol on the side, the inside had a soft black material and the stitches were a lovely dark purple which really gave a ghostly type feel
She then revealed her other hand and in it was a water bowl of the same fashion as the bed
They were both amazing and he could see Emma was ecstatic with how much Mimikyu seemed to love them
That night Emma served a friend meel she'd produced for both her and the Pokémon and they all are the same food enjoying the evening
Of course Mimikyu said nothing during this but he was riding the joyful waves that were being produced
The next day was a little different
Mimikyu headed to the spot he'd been heading to the spot he'd been in yesterday but this time he was interrupted by Eva
"Hey Mimikyu, want to come play with us?" she said as she motioned towards the other pokemon minus Ava and Star
Looking around Eva Mimikyu saw several of the others sitting around in a circle
Wandering wordlessly over with Eva following behind he joined the circle between spark and Cerul and the game started
"We're playing two truths and a lie" said Cerul "so basically you tell 2 truths about yourself and one lie" he explained
"I'll go first" Avid said
"Ok, first… I was part of a champion team, secondly…. My sister was a shiny and lastly… I've seen a legendary Pokémon before"
Everyone thought about it for a moment before giving an answer
"1" said Cerul
"3" said Spark
"3" said Flare
"2" said Star
"1" said Flor
"3" said Eva
Everyone turned to Mimikyu expecting and answer which he never gave them
After a moment of silence Eva broke it by saying "maybe he's just unsure" and the game continued on
"All right" said Avid "the correct answer was….. 1! I've never done anything that exciting"
Cerul and Flor celebrated their victory of this round
"No way" said Eva "what legendary Pokémon have you seen?"
"Well when I was wild and wandering through the jungle I'm pretty sure I saw tapu Koko behind a tree" Avid explained
"And what about your sister" asked Star
"Well I was fairly sure that was true" but in Flor "she didn't seem at all surprised when she first saw me"
"Yes" said Avid "my sister is now an umbreon and she lives on top of Mt solar"
"Mt Solar?" Asked Cerul "isn't that just a 20 minutes metang ride from here?"
"Yes, she lives 2,000 km from here but I don't know any metang" said Avid
"Oh well, maybe you'll see eachother soon" said Flor
"Maybe" Said Avid distantly
"Anyways" Cerul said "who wants to go next?"
"Me,me" Said Spark
"Ok spark, you go next"
"Alright, first of all I'm older than Flame, second I set fire to the carpet last week and… I once ate an entire bag of poke treats myself"
"1" said Flame
"2" said Star
"2" said Cerul
"2" said Eva
"2" said Avid
They didn't even wait for Mimikyu before Spark revealed the answer
"Most of you were right, it was Flame that started the fire"
"No it was you and the lie was number 1 because I'm older than you" Flame argued
"No I'm older" Spark argued back "why did none of you choose 3?"
"Spark, none of us doubt you could eat a whole bag of poke treats by yourself" said Avid
"But I'm older" bitted in Flame again
"Alright, alright, Mimikyu, why don't you have a go?" Avid asked
Staying silent the entire time he divided that now was an appropriate time to use his scratchy hiss
As he did just that the others looked between themselves
"Is that a yes?" Asked Eva
"Maybe we should play something else" Flame burst out obviously getting bored and impatient
"Flame, we're trying to encourage this Mimikyu" Cerul whispered not so quietly
"Oh sorry" Flare said not seeming sorry at all
