10 days later.
July 10th.
Two British soldiers discover a young girl laying on the ground face first, they notice that she's not human.
Charles, could you explain what that is?
Are you not familiar with a girl?
The girl's appearance causes them to be surprised that she's not human.
"What?"
"What is she? Is there a wolf-like creature?"
She woke up.
"Where are? Am I." She groan as she asked where she is?
A man asked with strange military uniform and asked her name first. While he's point a gun at her, she got up and she's pointing her gun towards the strange military uniform man.
"What is your name?"
She saw man in military uniform pointing at her, while he pointing her.
She doesn't understand his language, but she knows that he is not hostile.
She put her gun down, and went down on her knees with both her arms raised.
She knew that if she resisted she would be incapacitated.
Both men were confused by this and they decided to take her in.
For interrogation inside of their headquarters in the trenches.
Inside britsh trenches.
Headqaurters.
The captain of the British army saw his men with strange human girls with wolf ears, with strange clothes, and strange guns with her.
She wrote her name in English.
She said that her name is Sunaookami Shiroko.
She is from the world of Pivots.
He integrated her for a whole minute until they heard an artillery shot hitting next to their trenches.
He decided to take her to the trenches, as a member of his units, to fight against the Germans.
Battle of the somme.
The Battle of the Somme lasted141 daysbeginning with the opening day of theBattle of Albert. The attack was made by five divisions of the French Sixth Army on the east side of the Somme, eleven British divisions of the Fourth Army north of the Somme to Serre and two divisions of the Third Army opposite Gommecourt, against the GermanSecond Armyof GeneralFritz von Below. The German defence south of the Albert–Bapaume road mostly collapsed and the French had "complete success" on both banks of the Somme, as did the British from the army boundary at Maricourt to the Albert–Bapaume road. On the south bank the German defence was made incapable of resisting another attack and a substantial retreat began; on the north bank the abandonment of Fricourt was ordered. The defenders on the commanding ground north of the road inflicted a huge defeat on the British infantry, who took an unprecedented number of casualties. Several truces were negotiated to recover wounded fromno man's landnorth of the road. The Fourth Army took57,470 casualties, of which19,240 menwere killed. The French Sixth Army had1,590 casualties, and the German 2nd Army had10,000–12,000 losses.
Days later.
Sunaookami Shiroko, She saw death for the first time, as she saw more people dying and she was not alone.
Her friends and other students from different schools were with her.
She saw the horrors of war.
It drove her insane, as the two men comforted her.
In these trying times.
"Such a death, God."
"Is this a war?"
"I don't like it, I want to go home!"
"We are unable to return home."
"I am unable to take this anymore, it's just too much for me."
"It's alright, you'll get to use it."
They offer her comfort.
The second day of the war.
Battle rages on as the German army is pushed back by the angels of Somme.
No matter how many bullets they shoot, they're indestructible.
As the Germans fall back into the forest with all of their forces dying, the hands of the angels of Somme.
They continue to push forward, no matter how many of them die, they will continue to push forward.
Meawhile.
The Battle of Delville Wood was an operation to secure the British rightflank, while the centre advanced to capture the higher-lying areas of High Wood and Pozières. After the Battle of Albert the offensive had evolved to the capture of fortified villages, woods, and other terrain that offered observation for artillery fire, jumping-off points for more attacks, and other tactical advantages. The mutually costly fighting at Delville Wood eventually secured the British right flank and marked the Western Front debut of the South African1st Infantry Brigade(incorporating aSouthern Rhodesiancontingent), which held the wood from 15 to 20 July. When relieved, the brigade had lost2,536 men, similar to the casualties of many brigades on 1 July.
Third day.
The Battle of Flers–Courcelette was the third and final general offensive mounted by the British Army, which attacked an intermediate line and the German third line to take Morval, Lesboeufs and Gueudecourt, which was combined with a French attack on Frégicourt and Rancourt to encircle Combles and a supporting attack on the south bank of the Somme. The strategic objective of a breakthrough was not achieved but the tactical gains were considerable, the front line being advanced by 2,500–3,500 yards (2,300–3,200m) and many casualties were inflicted on the German defenders. The battle was the debut of theCanadian Corps, theNew Zealand Divisionandtanksof the Heavy Branch of theMachine Gun Corpson the Somme.
With help of the angels of Somme, they manage to push back against the germans.
Battle of Thiepval Ridge
The Battle of Thiepval Ridge was the first large offensive mounted by theReserve ArmyofLieutenant GeneralHubert Goughand was intended to benefit from theFourth Armyattack atMorvalby starting24 hoursafterwards. Thiepval Ridge was well fortified and the German defenders fought with great determination, while the British co-ordination of infantry and artillery declined after the first day, due to confused fighting in the maze of trenches, dug-outs and shell-craters. The final British objectives were not reached until theBattle of the Ancre Heights(1 October – 11 November). Organisational difficulties and deteriorating weather frustrated Joffre's intention to proceed by vigorous co-ordinated attacks by the Anglo-French armies, which became disjointed and declined in effectiveness during late September, at the same time as a revival occurred in the German defence. The British experimented with new techniques in gas warfare, machine-gun bombardment and tank–infantry co-operation, as the Germans struggled to withstand the preponderance of men and material fielded by the Anglo-French, despite reorganisation and substantial reinforcements of troops, artillery and aircraft from Verdun. September became the worst month for casualties for the Germans. While Angels of somme help on that offensive.
Days after the battle of somme.
Angels Of Somme, will continue to fight in subqently wars of the great war.
