Hello again, SuMario6477 here. We are now on Chapter 2 of this story. As usual, if you have any ideas I could add, that would be great. So let's get on with it.

Chapter 2: The Phone Call
The next morning, Mario and Luigi are at their mushroom house sitting down relaxing. They've recently helped many folks with drain problems and gained a lot of change. Now they are waiting to see if anyone else could call them.
"Wow, our services have made folks really appreciate us!" exclaimed Luigi.
"Yeah, no wonder many other plumbing services are so expensive. Which is why we want to make it fair for everyone to save their allowances." answered Mario.
"When do you think another call will come?" wondered Luigi.
"Don't know actually, but we will get another customer." said Mario.
While the bros were doing their activities, Luigi's phone suddenly rang and the bros answered the call, putting it on speaker mode.
"Hello, Super Mario Brothers here! We clog 'em, we clear 'em! What can we do for ya?" answered Luigi.
"Hi, is this the "Super Mario Bros. Plumbing" service from the commercial?" a voice said on the other side.
"Yes, that's us, Mario and Luigi here to fix any drainpipe problems." answered Luigi.
"My name is John Steinberg, mayor of Oceanside. I humbly request your service for the sake of my allowances and the town itself." replied Steinberg.
"What seems to be the situation Mr. Steinberg?" asked Mario.
"There was a recent storm in our region and so much rain has filled up the sewer systems. Therefore, there are a ton of leaks happening down there. Not only that, my agents got word that something big is causing a ruckus and all the pipes are breaking down. If this doesn't stop, our precious Oceanside will flood quickly and I'm gonna have to spend money on boats and ships for the sake of the citizens. Will you help us?" explained Steinberg.
"Do not worry Mr. Steinberg, we assure you that we fix things right away." Mario assured.
"Just leave it to us." added Luigi.
"Wonderful! Once you finish the job, I'll reward you a portion of my cash. I'll send you the address so you'll arrive momentarily. See ya there!" Steinberg replied and the phone call ended.
"We're about to explore a new town far away from our home Luigi!" exclaimed Mario.
"Yeah, I wonder what Oceanside looks like?" thought Luigi.
"Why don't you go ahead and prepare our supplies while I check up information about Oceanside on the laptop." said Mario.
"You got it, bro." said Luigi.
Some time later, The Mario Brothers were in their van, having all their equipment on the back, food, clothing, and power-ups they took from the Mushroom Kingdom in case of emergencies. The brothers were getting ready for their road trip and their parents were there to bid farewells.
"Good luck kids! Show the new townspeople how special you are!" the father said.
"Make sure you take frequent breaks from all that plumbing, fixing a whole town's drain system is a lot of work okay?" the mom assured.
"Don't worry mom, we have all the necessary items for this trip." assured Mario.
"We won't come back for about a week. Thanks to the Princess's training, we can defend ourselves no problem." replied Luigi.
"One more thing, if anyone wants to help you with the job, don't hesitate to invite them. And if it's a family, you can tell me the details when you come back." said the mom.
"We would gladly introduce ourselves as well." added the father.
"Alright then, see you in a week!" exclaimed Mario.
"Good-bye!" added Luigi.
"Bye, travel safely!" said the mom.
While Mario started the engine and Luigi prepared the GPS, the bros waved their last goodbye and were off toward their destination.
Along the driveway, Mario shared everything he looked up about Oceanside to Luigi. He shared that the town is a seaside island close to the open waters and transportation was mostly on boats. One part that made Mario interested was there used to be a giant battle between 3 krakens and a monstrous mermaid. The krakens defeated the mermaid and everyone was happy with the krakens.
"Gee, that is one hot topic." pondered Luigi. "Can you imagine if we had to fight Bowser as a giant?"
"We would totally be screwed, but we managed to stop him." assured Mario.
"According to the GPS, we'll be arriving at Oceanside in the next 10 hours." Luigi reports.
"Hope we can find an Inn to stay for the night." Mario thought.
"Hey Mario, Steinberg mentioned "something big" besides the drain pipes. What do you think it is?" asked Luigi.
"I don't know. The only thing I can think of is rats crawling under the sewers. But if it's "something big," it could be an animal or a beast living there." thought Mario.
"I sure hope it's not a beast." worried Luigi.
"Don't worry, with the power-ups we have, we'll be fine." Mario assured.
And so the brothers continued on their road trip to Oceanside. With all the equipment they have, no problem will prevent them in fixing the drain pipes. What kind of events await in Oceanside? They'll find out soon enough.
