Hello everybody! Chapter 4 has arrived. The Mario Brothers are making their debut at Oceanside and we'll get to see interactions between them and the Gillman family. Let's hop right to it!

Chapter 4: Meet the Super Mario Brothers
2 hours have passed, and Mario and Luigi have made it across the bridges that lead to Oceanside. They could see in the distance the small town and a lighthouse sitting at the top of a hill.
"Wow, for a small town to be close to the ocean, this looks amazing!" said Mario.
"Yeah, and the viewpoint of the ocean is breathtaking!" exclaimed Luigi.
"Okay Lu, give a call to the mayor that we're almost here." said Mario.
"Right away!" said Luigi as he marked the mayor's phone number.
After the call, Luigi said to Mario that there will be a welcoming assembly at the town hall and they are the guests of honor. So Mario pressed on the accelerator and drove to the town of Oceanside.
Everyone gathered at the town hall of Oceanside where the mayor is about to give an announcement. Ruby and her family were also there to see the event. Not only them, but Ruby's friends, Margot, Bliss, Trevin, and Connor were there as well. The four friends approached Ruby and greeted each other.
"Hey guys!" Ruby answered.
"Heya Rubes!" replied Margot.
"Hey." said Bliss.
"Sup." said Trevin while playing on his system.
"Hey there Ruby." answered Connor.
"Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Gillman, and Sam too." answered Margot for everyone.
"Good afternoon you four." replied Agatha.
"So have you watched the news lately? We're about to have visitors from another town come to fix our sewer problem!" shouted Margot.
"I wonder if they have the necessary tools to fix the problem." said Bliss.
"I think they'll do a fine job based on my video game logic." replied Trevin.
"I can't wait to meet them when they arrive." Connor said pleasingly.
"I'm also excited to meet them in person. After all, their commercial was really neat." said Ruby.
"You saw the commercial as well? I thought it was impressive." replied Trevin.
"Unless they are hiding something sinister to confuse us of their innocence." said Bliss while being scary.
"Bliss! Don't get any ideas that'll scare these new folks when we meet them okay?" exclaimed Margot.
"Sorry." Bliss apologized.
"Well I think they are ready to handle this issue. Now c'mon, the ceremony is about to start." Connor assured everyone.
As soon as everyone was about to march over, a loud greeting voice came up to the Gillman family.
"Howdy Gillman family!" That voice belonged to Uncle Brill, the uncle of Ruby, brother of Agatha, and son of Grandmamah.
"Hello as well, Gillman folks." another voice was heard.
This person was Captain Gordon Lighthouse, a long-time captain sailor who wanted to prove the existence of the krakens. Thankfully, he watched the battle between the krakens and the mermaid so he didn't have to hunt them down. He also has a pet crab named Davey, who is loyal to him.
"Hey Uncle Brill! Hey Captain! Are you here to see the new guests of honor?" asked Ruby.
"Yep sure do. I can't wait to greet them in person so I can share this to you grandmother." replied Brill.
"Yes, I also want to know what makes those whippersnappers so unique. Isn't that right Davey?" said Gordon to his crab.
Davey pinched his claws in excitement.
"Well we're all on our way to the ceremony. It's about to start." informed Arthur.
"Yeah, let's go already!" Sam said excitedly.
And so everyone went right toward the assembly.
The whole town of Oceanside has gathered at the town hall. Various cheers and shouts were heard from everywhere. The Gillman family, Ruby's friends, Uncle Brill, and Gordon and Davey managed to come in the front to get a better view of the assembly. Later, Mayor John Steinberg reached the podium and told everyone to quiet down so he could begin his speech.
"Good evening, citizens of Oceanside. Your mayor has come to deliver an important speech today. Now I know some of you have heard that the sewer systems are still causing major leaks thanks to that storm we had a couple weeks ago. And on top of that, now we have these earthquakes that are happening in the deepest part of the sewers. Sadly, no one in the plumbing service has the courage to go down there and find out." informed Steinberg.
That made everyone worried and scared, especially Ruby's friends and Uncle Brill.
"But the good news is I have found and hired two fine gentlemen who are exceptional into more advanced plumbing service…"
"HONK-HONK!"
"...and would you look at that, they have finally arrived!" Steinberg announced.
The van came through the crowd of citizens and parked in front of town hall. The doors opened up and out came the Super Mario Brothers. A round of applause and cheers rang from the crowd.
Mario and Luigi waved back at the crowd, smiling and admiring them for their encouragement.
The Gillman family were surprised by their appearances, Ruby's friends were astonished, Uncle Brill was trying to keep his excitement, and the Captain and Davey were pondering them affectionately.
"Welcome Super Mario Brothers to Oceanside!" exclaimed Steinberg. "Would you two like to share something since you arrived from your long road trip?"
Mario responded "Well, all we can say is the Super Mario Brothers are here, to save Oceanside…"
"And the queens…" added Luigi.
"And your wallets." finished Mario.
Once again, more applause and cheers rang out from the crowd.
"Now that's a fine trademark to begin with." Steinberg turned at the crowd. "Now that they are here, would any of you fine citizens care to give these gentlemen some hospitality in this town?" he asked.
"Pardon me, we would gladly show our new guests everything in Oceanside." announced Agatha. Her family also complied.
"Alright, it is settled then. By tomorrow, the Super Mario Brothers will initiate their job. Thank you all for coming. Have a nice day!" announced Steinberg.
With that, everyone had left, leaving the Mario Brothers, Gillman family, Ruby's friends, Uncle Brill, and Gordon and Davey at town hall.
"Greetings Mario Brothers, I am Agatha Gillman and welcome to Oceanside, our hometown." Agatha introduced to the bros and showed her hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Gillman." Mario shook her hand. "I'm Mario and this is my bro, Luigi. So who are the others?" asked Mario.
"This is my husband Arthur Gillman, my daughter Ruby Gillman, and our son Sam Gillman." replied Agatha.
"Hello." they all replied.
Nessie jumped up to Luigi and gave a lick on his face. Luigi felt the slobber, but he didn't mind.
"And who is this fine creature?" asked Luigi.
"This is Nessie, our dogfish pet." Ruby answered.
"Well he looks cute." Mario replied and Nessie jumped and licked him too. Mario simply laughed with joy.
"Hi there, were Ruby's friends. I'm Margot and this is Bliss, Trevin, and Connor." Margot introduces.
"Heya! I'm Brill, the uncle and brother of Ruby and Agatha!" shouted Brill.
"I'm Captain Gordon Lighthouse and this is Davey, my pet crab." said Gordon while Davey snapped his claws.
"And hello to you as well." Then Mario turned to the Gillman family. "So you all are gonna show us this town and where we can rent a place?" asked Mario.
"You can leave that to me Mr. Mario, but first why don't you come to our residence first so we can prepare you some meals and then show you around." Agatha requested.
"Yeah! And can you show me your amazing skills too!? I bet you two are professionals at dodgeball." said Sam joyfully.
"Wow, you sure are an exciting one, little guy." Luigi commented.
"Now remember Sam, they just came from a long journey, so we need to make them comfortable first. And then we'll see if they have some time." Arthur assured Sam.
"That's fine, me and Lu are athletic when it comes to maneuvering paths." said Mario.
"Is it okay if I can come too?" Brill pledged.
"Of course you can Uncle Brill." answered Ruby.
"Well we gotta go home as well. Ruby, send me a text message as soon as the Mario Bros begin their job." asked Margot as she left, along with Bliss and Trevin while Connor stayed for a minute.
"I'll catch you guys later soon. See ya Ruby. Don't forget we have some tutoring tomorrow during lunch okay?" Connor reminded Ruby and she noted it.
"I'll be at my office relaxing and watching soap operas. You two make sure you can fix the problem okay?" assured Gordon and Davey gave them a look of confidence. And they left not a moment so soon.
"Alright, everyone let's all go home shall we?" asked Agatha and everyone agreed.
Everyone got into the Mario Bros' van and Agatha took the wheel so she can show the bros where their house is. Mario and Luigi are pleased that Oceanside was a nice town and everyone showed their support in welcoming them. Can they also impress them with their unique abilities?
