Inside the heart, Sonic heard a loud beating sound. And it wasn't just the sound of the heart. A weird creature made up of holographic electric jellyfish and part of the heart itself appeared. It made the yuckiest beating sound Sonic had ever heard. But Sonic kept his stance as he prepared to fight the very water-electric monster Daniel had described. It was Barinade. To get rid of it, Sonic had to kill all the jellyfish by throwing his quills at them. Then, once all the jellyfish were gone, Sonic quickly threw the boomerang at its center to stun it. Then, he jump attacked it over and over again until pink puffy things started to appear on it. That was a sign that Barinade was defeated and Jabu-Jabu was dead. Sonic was curious about the puffy things, but when he touched one, a little jolt of electricity gave him a tiny sting. "Ouch!"
"Hey, what's taking you so long?" said an impatient voice. With a quick shake of his fingers, Sonic was able to rid himself of the little sting. Then he walked toward the source of the voice. It was Daniel and he had all seven blue jewels in his crown, the center one being the blue zora saffire that Sonic had been after. Daniel was sitting near the blue portal that would take him and Sonic outside. "This is no time to be stinging yourself," he said scoldingly. "I was just lonely that's all. Just a little." Sonic and Daniel stepped through the portal together and were soon warped outside.
Sonic found himself sitting on a little twig that bridged the water of Zora's Fountain. Jabu-Jabu was no longer there because Sonic had killed him. "Sonic, you were so cool! Just a little," said Daniel. "Since you saved me from Jabu-Jabu's greed, I must reward you. What do you wish?"
"I want the spiritual stone, please," replied Sonic. "You mean the spiritual stone of water, zora's saffire?" asked Daniel. "Yes," replied Sonic. "The spiritual stone is actually the center jewel of my crown. It powers up the other six jewels that activates magical water powers that I use to protect Zora's Domain and keep bad guys away. Very well. I will give you my most precious possession." Daniel jumped in the water and swam to his crown that was sitting on a nearby branch. He carefully took the zora saffire out of the crown's center and gently handed it over to Sonic. "Thank you," said Sonic, proudly putting the stone carefully into his bag. As he jumped in and swam to dry land, he heard Daniel calling to him "You're welcome!"
