Ash and Serena are absent in this Chapter because it's mainly focused on Clemont.

The sky had appears some hole and some shadow of some squid-like being had landed to the Kalos Jail.

Later, that shadow had emeraged it's actual appearance, which is upside-down squid. Several purple tentacles with bright blue undersides sprout from the top of its head. Does it looks familiar? Yes, it's one of the Malamar that came from future who attempted to destroy the world in XY19 (A Conspiracy to Conquer!) and XY54 (Facing the Grand Design!). That Malamar was heading into some Kalos Jail, seems like it's looking at someone.

Meanwhile in Prism Tower, Clemont was inside his lab which placed his unfinished Clembot MKIII where Clemont was failed to make it works for 9999 times while his Chespin was sitting elsewhere, he had finished creating the Pokemon degradation cannon so that the Pokemon can able to undo their evolution should they accidentally being evolved against their will. "The future is now, thanks to science! Clemontic Gear, ON!""

Bonnie came into the room: "Are you still trying to make some useless things again?"

Clemont: "Of course not, this time it'll work for sure!"

Finished speaking, the Pokemon degradation cannon begin to malfunctioning.

Bonnie: "See? I told it'll never works!"

Clemont: "Bonnie run!"

Clemont quickly picked up his unfinished Clembot MKIII and used his Aipom Arm to pulled away Bonnie. Unfortunely his Chespin was not able to escape on time and being devoured by the explosion.

Clemont: Chespin!

After the smoke subsided, Clemont saw that his Chespin had been evolved to Chesnaught during that explosion.

Chesnaught: Chesnaught? (What's going on?)

Clemont: Chespin? Did you just.. evolved?

Chesnaught: Chesnaught? (I don't know, I was being devoured by the explsion, and then I become like this)

Squishy: Looks like Clemont's Pokemon Degradation Cannon had accidentally fully evolved his Chespin as well.

Bonnie: LOL

Meanwhile there's some earthquake.

Clemont: "What happened? Imma go outside to see"

Clemont went down the stair, seeing Meyer and his Blaziken was being pinned at mid air, and then there's some fat person wearing som that makes him remind some bad memories that almost having his Gym being destroyed- Yes, it's him Xerosic!

Clemont: "Xerosic! Why you again-"

But that Xerosic dosen't looks right!

Xerosic: "I'll obey... I'll rules the world!"

Clemont: "Wait something looks wrong with him"

Meyer: "Look out Clemont!"

Clemont saw the Malamar appears behind of Xerosic. Clemont then begin to realized what's going on. This Malamar is not the one that Xerosic had, but the one that brainwashed Clemont before! So what happened to the original Xerosic's Malamar ? Being killed by this evil Malamar and took it's place.

Now you might understand why Xerosic is here while he was being arrested in XYZ, because that Malamar had brainwashed Xerosic and become it's slave.

Clemont: "You're-"

Xerosic: "That's right! I just need one more scientist to join my plan to create the large energy crystals to create the future. And that scientist, is you."

Meyer: "Clemont don't look at it!"

Clemont still remember the events of XY19 (A Conspiracy to Conquer!), and closed the eyes as the Malamar's chest about to light up, prevent him from being brainwashed.

Xerosic: "It's no use, the world will eventally belong to us-"

Clemont: Magneton, now!

Finished speaking, Clemont gestured, the Magnemite and Magneton that ambushed on the ceiling appears, the Magneton split itself into three separate units used thunder shock to paralyze Malamar!

Xerosic: Nice try, I would fool enough to invade here without prepared?

Clemont: What?

Malamar then used psychic to pin Clemont and pulled Bonnie outside the room, which makes Bonnie screaming.

Clemont, Meyer: "Bonnie!"

Bonnie: "Dad, Clemont, save me! I'm so scared!"

Malamar then used psychic to pull Bonnie nears it. "Here's the deal: If you're going to help us rules the entire world, I'll give your sister back. Otherwise your sister will-"

Clemont: "You bastard-"

Malamar was about to put Bonnie on the Thunder Shock. Seeing that Malamar trying to put Bonnie on their attack, Magnemite and Megneton stopped their attack on Malamar.

Meanwhile the Chesnaught came down to stairs

Xerosic: "It's none of your business. Dark Pluse!"

Malamar's Dark Pluse hitted Chesnaught, but Chesnaught's tank-like body and it's type Resistant for dark type attack makes Chesnaught countiue to walking towards Malamar! However, Malamar used Psychic on Chesnaught and makes Chesnaught unable to move!

Xerosic: "Oh there's one more thing, isn't you just struggling to make any working inventions? Here's the chance of makes you the more successful Scientist like Xerosic by joining me!"

(So how Malamar knows that Clemont's invention never works? Malamar brainwashed Xerosic and hacked Clemont's account to steal his information)

Clemont: "Wrong! Science are meant to helps people and Pokemon, and such wicked people like you don't deserve to call yourself scientist!"

Malamar then about to use the Dark Pluse on Bonnie

Xerosic: "Think again, this is also the last chance to save you sister by joining us. I won't say the same thing twice."

Meyer: "Bonnie!"

Clemont: "Don't touch my sister!"

Meanwhile, Clemont and his Chesnaught had been covered by the Green colored pillar which is similar to Serena and Ash's bond phenomenon.

Clemont: "Wait, I can use bond phenemon too? But that's seems unscientific!"

When the Pillar disappears, his Chesnaught appears with Clemont's hair, the 2 upper large spines on the back had become 2 Aipom Arm-like energy arms.

Xerosic: How does it possible?

Bonnie: It looks like what happened to Ash-Greninja before, should I call it... Clemont-Chesnaught?

Clemont-Chesnaught's energy arms quickly took Bonnie back to the ground while Malamar still being distracted what's going on, then those arms attacks Malamar, Clemont-Chesnaught now can move again!

Clemont: Bonnie are you alright?

Bonnie: Yes!

Xerosic: No way... I got outsmarted by you once again?

Clemont: You're not even Xerosic, but the pawn that being brainwashed by Malamar!

Malamar attempted to use Psychic on Clemont-Chesnaught again.

Clemont: Same trick won't work twice! Chesnaught use Vine Whip!

Clemont-Chesnaught used Vine Whip and bind Malamar!

Clemont: Chesnaught use Pin Missile!

Clemont-Chesnaught then used Pin Missile on the Malamar, freeing Meyer, his Blaziken and Bonnie from Malamar's psychic restaining and Xerosic from being brainwashed. Xerosic then went unconscious.

Malamar was so angered and left: Damn you, don't think you had won, someday the future will belong to us!

Meanwhile, the Officer Jenny arrives the Prism Tower and arrested the unconscious Xerosic once again.

Meyer: Clemont, you had become much stronger ever...

Clemont: Haha did I, Dad?

In the evening, Clemont-Chesnaught was helping Clemont to finish the last part of Clembot MKIII. Clemont then turned on the Clembot MKIII and it works.

Clemont: The Future is Now, Thanks to Science! Imma counties work on the Pokemon degradation cannon

Clembot MKIII: Clemont, you had recieved one email!

Clemont then opened his phone, he recieved the news about the upcoming global STEM scientific exchange event that will be hold on Pallet Town...

Clemont: Hmm, looks like it would be a good time to test what Clembot MKIII can do...
