Darkness. Silence. An eerie silence.
Kang looked about. The last he remembered was fighting the Ant Man, when he was sucked into his multiversal engine core.
He stood. He looked around.
He shouted in anger. He was lost in an unknown part of the Quantum Realm, and his gear was mostly destroyed.
Out of the corner of his eye, the conqueror saw a pale white light. It seemed to be no mere light.
He cautiously walked up to it.
The light came into view as a man.
"And just what may bring you here?" asked the light-man in a calm tone.
"Means of escape," replied Kang in a simple tone.
"Then look no further. You've found it!"
At his shout, more luminous beings of light circled around Kang.
"Where am I?" asked Kang in impatience.
"You, my little friend, are in the realm of the Beyonders. Be thankful. You've found your means of escape!"
