Hiccup flew North and encountered another dragon rider and followed them to an island made of ice.

Once they land, Hiccup follows the rider to a cave and says "I didn't know that there was another rider who rides dragons."

The rider examined Hiccup to see a scar on his chin and gasped "Hiccup?"

Hiccup ask "should I know you?"

The rider answers "no. You were only a baby, but a mother never forgets about you."

Hiccup gaped "mom?"

Valka hugs him and ask "why are you here?"

Hiccup answers "I ran away to find a home."

Valka ask "what happened on Berk?"

Hiccup sighs "they said I wasn't worth anything so I trained Toothless here and left Berk to find worth."

Valka sighs "did you appoint someone as new heir to replace you?"

Hiccup sighs "Astrid Hofferson, but she doesn't deserve it."

Valka smirks "your baby playmate?"

Hiccup scoffs "no. A spoiled brat."

Valka tells her son about her life off Berk and dragon secrets.

Two weeks later Hiccup started rescuing dragons from tribes until he followed one to a volcano island.

The Red Death roared after seeing that the boy doesn't fear anything and trained a Night Fury.

Hiccup tells the Red Death "I like dragons and want to protect the dragons from tribes."

The Red Death growled at the boy.

Hiccup spent a month working on a armor suit of Night Fury scales.

Afterwards, the Red Death knocked Hiccup out cold.

While Hiccup was unconscious, the Red removed his memories of happiness and left the mistreated memories of his past.

The villagers disappointment in him, the hurtful comments, his mate break his heart, three jerks beat him up.

When Hiccup wakes up from the hit in the head, he says "I have no family but dragons. They dumped me like I was no one."

The Red Death growled "what do you want to do to protect your new family?"

Hiccup answers "revenge. They should fear me for what they did to me."

The Red Death croon "you can call me your queen and you will protect the dragons from tribes. They want to kill your own dragons."

Hiccup answers "yes, my queen."

The Red Death croons "first you must train how to fight dragons and vikings."

Hiccup left the nest and returned to Dragon Sanctuary to train under his mother.

Valka ask "where did you go?"

Hiccup answers "I went exploring. Can you train me to fight dragons and vikings.

Astrid was honor to be given the position of heir.

Snotlout step up to pursue her to be his girlfriend.

Fern still didn't acknowledge his sister even when she hugged him and cared for him.

Astrid ask "why are you distant from me now, brother?"

Fern answers "I saw what you did to Hiccup with your friends. You don't deserve to be called heir of Berk!"

Astrid bows her head "I don't know why Hiccup left me the honor of becoming heir."

Fern scoffs "that's because he was in love with you and you broke his heart! I have to go."

Astrid ask "Hiccup was in love with me?"
