After the mission to the land of waves, Naruto begins to have strange dreams, not knowing that they are actually memories of his past life

A/N:Hello evryone this is a Naruto x The Ghost of Tsuhima fic, Naruto will ba a pseudo-reincarnation of Jin. By that i mean Jin's spirit will be in Naruto and teach him, but he won't merge with him. As for how he is in Naruto Jin will be sent ther As for how it is in Naruto, Jin will be sent there by the deities of their two universes aka me and Hagoromo. And tnx to Hagoromo Jin will know chakra based techniques and exercises longside his skills. Alright lets get started.

Chapter - 01: Innocence lost and determination gained

Naruto awakens from another strange dream,he has been getting these dreams ever since he came back from the land of waves, These dreams are always different but always have one similarity.

These dreams always happen from the perspective of a person who is called various names by people in his dreams, but 3 are the most common are Ghost, lord Sakai and JIN. And in every one of these dreams he was fighting people on a island called Tsushima. A island which does not exist how he know's this.Yes he was not the best student in the academy, but geography and survival training were his best subjects.

Naruto lookt at the clock and he saw that it was 1 in the morning and today was his day off from missions, So he decided to do the training from the scroll Kakashi gave him to improve his chakra control.Then he heard his stomach rumbling "First some breakfast" spoke Naruto to himself as he got up and walked to his kitchen.

After a nice meal of instant ramen, "I really need to start hunting like before" he took the scroll and went to the training field that only he knows about, because he made that training field himself even though he hadn't been there since his second year at the academy when he started with his pranks in the village.

~At the seacret trening ground~

After a few minutes Naruto came to his old secret training ground,It's obvious that no one has found this place before because everything left as it was was just overgrown which Naruto decided to clean up by forming a sighn for his favorite jutsu, the shadow clone jutsu, Forming 5 clones that immediately began clearing overgrown grass and moss from the practice targets and stumps.

Opening the scroll Kakashi gave him Naruto found 3 chakra control exercises.Water walking,Water propulsion and Kunai balancing, Along with a note at the end of the scroll. "Btw use your shadow clones they can transfer the memories to you so you can master this quicker" along with a chibi version of Kakashi giving a peace sign.

Facepalming Naruto ask't himself "How the hell i didn't noticed that before" Now if he remembers well, there should also be a small lake a few meters behind the forest. Forming 50 shadow clones he sent 25 to do water walking and other 25 to do water propoltion, then forming 25 more to do Kunai balancing as he practiced his throwing and hand to hand with the 5 clones he already made. "I can meick more but i don't want to alert anyone with my massive chakra use,Gigi would probably give me a very stern lecture for using so many clones and activating the chakra sensors."

~After few hours~

3 hours passed and Naruto was done with his training but he made a mistake when dispelling his clones,Instead of dispelling them one by one or in small groups, he did it all at once and now he has a terrible headache.

Getting up from the ground, he jumped into the treetops and started jumping from tree to tree, He said that he heard something and started to listen a little better. "Voices" Naruto whispered to himself. Forming a clone he sent it to the direction of the voices before getting the memories back. 7 ninjas with scratched kumo headbands talked about planting bombs in the village and quickly escaping from there.

Quickly Naruto formed 30 clones to surround the kumo ninja and to set traps he formed another one to go to the hokage and tell him what was going on.

~At the Hokage's office~

Hiruzen Sarutobi is enjoying his morning tea and a smoke before he starts another fight with every kage's greatest enemy,The dreaded paperwork. Or at least he was before his orange clad hyperactive surugat grandson entered his office by jumping trou a close window and screaming onn top of his longs. "GIGI QUICK THERE ARE 7 MISSING-NINS IN THE SOUTH EAST PART OF THE FOREST THEY ARE PLANNING TO PLANT BOMBS IN THE VILLAGE!".

Hiruzen quickly jumped out of his seat and call'd out "ANBU!", In an instant, 20 masked ninja dropped in front of the hokage in a bow. "Go to the south east forest and see what is going on" like one they all sead "YES HOKAGE SAMA!" and disappeared in a swirl of leaves. After that Hiruzen turn'd to Naruto and asked him "What were you doing there this early in the morning".

To which the clone replied "I was training gigi but i'm not the original im a clone, boss sent me to tell you he is trying to capture them", At this Hiruzen's eyes widened before he jumped out the window and rushed their himself.

~With the ANBU team~

ANBU operative Hawk doesn't know what to think, the kid he used to guard as a child ran into the Hokage's office like a madman and shouted that seven enemy ninjas had managed to infiltrate the village and are planning to plant bombs in the villigers, If the kid hadn't been where he was, they might have succeeded, but thanks to him, it looks like they won't be able to do it, and in the best case scenario for them, they will be killed by his colleagues.Or in a worst case scenario for them Ibiki and Anko will have some new toys to play with.

As he and his group moved in on the scene they heard a lot of explosions and shouting and they had speed up. As they entered the clearing they saw Naruto surrounded by 6 tied up and wounded enemies but the 7th was about to attack him from behind before the kid turned around and slashed at the man's throat with the Kunai in his hand rffectively depriving him of his life. As blood started gushing from his neck Naruto's eyes widened as the blood hit his face he dropped his Kunai and started shaking. "Shit" Hawk swore under his breath."Bear Snake Frog grab the three on the left, Wolf Tiger Cat grab one's on the right and take them all to Ibiki and Anko.".

At that moment Hiruzen dropped in a seeing Naruto's state order'd Hawk to go and get Kakashi.Walking close to Naruto he wiped his face from the blood staining it and walk't him away from the dead man's body, Body Flickering to his office.

~At Hokage's office an hour later~

After an hour Hiruzen was able to calm Naruto down with the help of Kakashi and Iruka who had to be called in after a half hour of failed attempts. "Ok Naruto" Spoke Hiruzen in his grandfatherly voice to Naruto "I know you're still a little shaken by what happened, but could you please explain to us exactly what happened before the Hawk and his group arrived?". Noding Naruto started explaning.

Flash back: After the clone was sent to the Hokage.

Naruto and his clones set up all the traps they could as quickly and quietly as possible before spreading out and Henjing all in different Chunin and Jonin Naruto saw allover the village.

Then as the 7 Ninjas walk into the clearing a reign of Kunai and Shuriken fly at them, The kumo missing-nin's managed to avoid the shower of steal but the 2 of them were hit in the thighs and shoulders which disabled their whey to fight effectively. Then as one all 30 Henjd clones of Naruto show'd themselves longside Naruto himself who was Henjd into Hokage's son and team 10's sensei Asuma Sarutobi, As Naruto spoke up in a perfect imitation of Asuma voice he said "Ame to disabled capture them alive"

Wen the 7 missing-nins hurd this they started runing towords the whey where they didn't see any of Konoha ninja,Seeing this Naruto smirk 'Perfect just where i want you' thot he as he and his clones give chase. Occasionally throwing a Kunai or a Shuriken to stay in character.

As one kumo nin tript a whyre a salvo of Kunai and Shuriken shot towards him and one of his companions hitting them in legs and palms disabling them and allowing 2 groups of clone to tai them up in rope and ninja whyer. Not long after, another whyer was tript activateing several explosive notes, Sending a lot of wooden shrapnel at three of the ninjas wounding and allowing them to get captured.

After this several more traps were activated wounding the remaining two but not enough to allow them to be capture, One of the two threw several kunai with explosive notes effectively killing 20 of the clones but allowing himself to be surrounded by the wrest getting into a hand to hand fight with them killing most but eventuale getting knocked out by now un-Henjd naruto. "Where is the 7th one?" ask't Naruto himself before onn instinkt pulling a Kunai turning around and slicing at a man's neck killing him in an instant.

Flash back end:

"Then the Hawk's unit and you gigi came to the clearing" Finished Naruto now a little more relaxt.To say the three men were shocked would be an understatement. What Naruto had just said was exactly how the six surviving wouldbe saboteurs were wounded,They weren't shocked by the way the saboteurs were caught but that Naruto did it the same Naruto who ranked dead last in the academi same Naruto who was the weakest of all the genin from his generation thet same Naruto managed to come up with a plan on a fly, to setup traps that were deadly yet non lethal and to manipulate the enemy to fall in to it, and to capture Six and kill One Chunin rank ninja.

Hiruzen was the first to come out of his shoc, smiling slightly at Naruto and thinking 'Minato Kushina you would be so proud of him' speeking up Hiruzen would say "Well Naruto my boy congratulation on your first solo A rank mission, and because of you i sent out my ANBU to search out the village and we found three more squad like that managing to capture all of them all effectively stopping a mass sabotage attempt in ur village." syd Hiruzen smiling proudly at Naruto longside Kakashi and Iruka.

Smiling brightly Naruto gave a solut to Hiruzen saying "Tenkyou Hokage sama" meicking the old man luagh slightly before saying "Well Naruto my boy your free to go now" to witch Naruto noded "But first gigi do you have any scroles for Ken-jutsu and Tamanegi-jutsu for beginners" To this Hiruzen Kakashi and Iruka all reisd an eyebrou. "Naruto since when do you want to use a sword" ask't Iruka, nodding Kakashi added "Yes and why do you need a bow for?".

To this Naruto rubbed the back of his head "Will i remembered how Zabuza gave you a hard time with his sword skills Kakashi sensei, So i thot why don't i learned how to use a sword of my own".

Kakashi nodded to this "Yes i guess that is a good idea, but still why do you want to learn how to use a bow for? Ninjas haven't used thos since the end of the warring states."

Naruto smiled "Well i thought i will need a whey to fight long range without using my chakra and first thing to can to mind was a bow and arrow. And that what you said just now Kakashi sensei is even better."

"And how is thet Naruto" ask't Iruka a bit confused

"Well think of it Iruka sensei if no ninja used a bow since then nobody will expect a ninja using a bow nowadays, it will make a perfect whey to make a enemy underestimate you or think you arent a ninja but a maby just a bandit." exclaimed Naruto with a big smile on his face

This nead Hiruzen chakul "Will Naruto my boy i actually have boght and i can give them to you but what about a sword and a bow you'll need?" ask't Hiruzen

"Well I'll buy them of course I haven't spent even half of the money I've collected since I started doing and that's just from D-ranks, Mission to the land of waves and this mission are at least triple all of that."Said Naruto not seeing the point in the questions, Hiruzen spoke up"Naruto on what haw you spent the mony then if you didnt use it much at all?"

"On food and clothes why? " askt Naruto a bit confused. Kakashi ask't him "And your equipment Naruto what about that?"Naruto shrugged and said "I usually go around training grounds and take what's left and whats in good condition,You'd be surprised how much perfectly good gear all ninjas leave just lying around."

Hiruzen is surprised by this and the way his ninja don't care about their equipment and Naruto's shyr resourcefulness." Naruto my boy that is how a ninja in a war is thinking you need to buy your own equipment and not to scavenge the training grounds like it was a battle field." At this Naruto's expression soured "I know gigi but most equipment shops rip me off few times i went to them, only ones i didn't go to are the black dragon and the tree blades and that is because they are wery expensive and they would probable rip me off too."

"Well I know the owner of the black dragon on a personal level so I know he never thought of you as the kyuubi so he probably won't rip you off." Hiruzen said, Kakashi then spoke up "As for the tree blades shop its owner is an old friend of mine so i can take you to get what you need if i have free time"

When Naruto herd that he smiled and said "Thx Kakashi sensei but you don't have to adjust your schedule for me, I'll just trust gigi's judgment and go to the black dragon." Kakashi nodded at that and said "Wery well than Naruto but if you need any tips for the sword lesons just ask ok."

After getting the scrolls from Hiruzen Naruto would go back home to leave them there and to take his money before going to the black dragon weapons shop

~Black Dragon weapons shop~

Naruto came in front of the shop and the outside appearance alone would not give you the idea that this was a weapons shop, it look't more like a old tea shop if not for the few swords and other weapons in the window,Saying "Here we go" he entered to see many wooden shelves with weapons from the most common shuriken to a zanbato almost the same size as Zabuz's.

Naruto could only say one thing "Wow",At that he heard laughter "Well by that i can assume you like my collection kid"Turning around naruto saw an older gentleman who seams the same age as the 3rd hokage but a bit toler and more toned then him.

The mens hair was as grey as the hokages but it was longer and more smooth, he had one black eye and one grey skard eye looking at him with his prosthetic and normal arms crossed over his chest. "You must be the kid that old monkey was talking about." Man spoke in a gruff aged voice with a smile on his face as he walked to naruto "My name is Kaguro Makoto, its nice to meat you kid" He stated extending his prosthetic hand for a shake.

With a grin Naruto clasped his hand and shook it saying "Nice to meat you too old man" Letting the hand go and steal smiling.

The old man laughed once again and ask "So what can i get you kid?"Naruto purkt up at this and said" So I was thinking of starting with swordsmanship and archery so I was wondering if you had anything I could use to get started?" to this Kaguro raised his eyebrou to that "Archery ey well that is interesting to hear, haven't heard of a shinobi using a bow and arrows since the warring states period. But yes i haw several different bows, and as for swords pick your poison." He said pointing his hand towards the wall where hundreds of different blades were standing.

As if in a trance, he went to the wall, sifting through several blades and selecting three. Looking at the weapon the old man smiled again and asked Naruto."What are you trying to be like a samurai with this trio?" The trio he mentioned are a Katana a Wakizashi and a tanto. Shaking his head he answers. "No, but I can see how people can imagine that this is my goal. Katana is my primary weapon, Wakizashi is for in case I need a secondary sword in a fight or if I have to fight multiple opponents, and Tanto is in case I lose or the previous two break." Naruto explained to witch Kaguro nodded.

(A/N: Quick authors note. I know that Jin doesn't use Katana in the game but Tachi, But my reason for the Katana over the Tachi is that the katana is shorter and less curved which allows for a faster draw. And speed is important when you're a Shinobi just look at Minato.)

"Ok kid do you need anything else?" Nodding Naruto asks "Do you have shinobi clothes, And I would have to refresh my stock of kunai and shuriken, I also needed some Shinobi wire and a calligraphy set." nodding Kaguro said "Yes the clothes wire kunai and shuriken are all in the seventh row and as for the calligraphy set I have to go to the back for that, It's been a while since someone asked for one of those, I guess you're interested in fuuinjutsu." Nodding his head in confirmation he said "Yes i am"

After some time naruto came back with 5 pairs of Shinobi shozoku all in a very dark navy blue almost black. About 3 meters of shinobi wire, and 3 sets of kunai and shuriken of 100 each. "So how much do I owe?" old man said with a big smile"Nothing the Hokage said to put this on his tab." Naruto blinkt and askt very confused "Really?" the man nodded

"O-ok i guess. Well i have a question" Kaguro nodded eging him to continue "Do you do custom jobs?" nodding he awnsers "It really depends on what you want but yes." Naruto nodds "OK, do you have a pen and paper, it's easier for me to illustrate what I want."After a few minutes, Narut drew what he wanted.

Stroking his beard Kaguro staited "Yeah i can meick this it will take around 3 days" nodding Naruto askt "Okay how much I'm paying this time and upfront" after calculating he said "3637287 Rio" nodding naruto payd and left to his home.

~Later that night in Naruto's mindscape~

Naruto waking up to another dream instead of in his bed and home he wakes up under a tree on a cliff overlooking the valley "What a! Where am i!" Exclaimed Naruto being on full alert.Then he heard a voice behind him say "We finally meet Uzumaki Naruto"Swirling around to face the person,Naruto was shocked to see who it is.
