Pokemon May Shipping Stories Story 1 Reunion Party (MayxAsh)

A/N: I am writing May shipping stories, all besides Contestshipping, and that's only because I'm not the biggest fan of Contenstshipping, but I'm all doing all other May shippings, and I'm doing suggestions or requests, and you PM your ideas you want for May shipping. I'll do any request or suggestion, even obscure May shipping, as I really love almost any May shipping, besides Contestshipping. Anyway, enjoy, and don't worry; my main focus will be May's and Ash's Hoenn Journey. I just always wanted to write May shipping stories.

The warm summer breeze gently rustled the leaves of the trees surrounding Delia's home, setting the stage for a reunion party that would bring together old friends and create new memories. Laughter and lively chatter filled the air as Ash's friends gathered on the freshly mowed lawn. Brock, with his ever-present determination to impress the ladies, had brought an assortment of homemade delicacies. Misty, sporting her tomboyish style, was engaged in an animated conversation about Water Pokemon strategies. May looked stunning in her red bandana and summer dress and shared her latest adventures in Pokemon Contests, while her younger brother Max listened attentively, wide-eyed, and eager to learn.

"Here's to a great time and ever greater friendships!" Delia raised her red solo cup, filled to the brim with cold beer, as she led a toast to commemorate the occasion. Everyone cheered in agreement, their cups clinking together in a symphony of camaraderie. The relaxed and festive mood was palpable, with each guest holding their own red solo cup and savoring the refreshing beverage as they mingled and reconnected.

Ash, always the center of attention when it came to all things Pokemon, found himself surrounded by his friends. They eagerly asked questions about his most recent Gym battles, listening intently as he recounted the victories and challenges he'd faced along the way. His enthusiasm was infectious, causing the group to erupt into applause and laughter at particularly exciting or humorous moments in his storytelling.

"Hey, remember that time you challenged me to race and Pikachu ended up saving both of butts?" Ash asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he looked at Misty.

"Ugh, don't remind me," Misty groaned, rolling her eyes but unable to suppress a grin. "I can't believe how reckless we were back then."

"Reckless?" Maybe. But we sure had a lot of fun, didn't we?" Ash replied, his voice filled with warmth and nostalgia.

"Definitely," Misty agreed. She glanced over at May, who was now talking animatedly with Delia about her favorite foods from the various regions she'd visited. "Looks like someone else has caught the travel bug too, huh?"

"May's always been adventurous," Ash observed, taking a sip from his red solo cup as he watched her with a fond smile. "I'm happy she's found something she's so passionate about."

"Me too," Misty said, her gaze lingering on May for a moment longer before she turned back to Ash. "So what's next for you, Ash Ketchum? Still chasing that dream of becoming a Pokemon Master?"

"Of course!" Ash declared enthusiastically, his determination shinning through, "I won't stop until I've become the best there ever was."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the party, it was clear that the bonds between these friends were stronger than ever. With every shared memory and inside joke, they were reminded of the unique connection they shared—one forged through countless adventures, hard-fought battles, and unwavering support for each other's dreams. And as the laughter continued to echo into the night, it seemed certain that this reunion would be just one of many more unforgettable moments in their journey together.

As the party carried on, May found herself standing near Ash, a red solo cup of beer in her hands. She took small, casual sips, enjoying the taste and the slight buzz it gave her. The atmosphere was relaxed, and she felt a tinge of excitement as she moved closer to him. Her heart raced, knowing this might be the perfect opportunity to express her feelings.

"Hey Ash," she said with a warm smile, lightly touching his arm to get his attention. "I've been meaning to ask you about your latest adventures; I bet you came across some amazing Pokemon."

"Definitely!" Ash replied enthusiastically, his eyes lighting up as he began to recount his tales. He seemed oblivious to the subtle flirting cues May was giving to him, like the way she leaned in slightly when he spoke or how her fingers traced gentle circles on his forearm.

May's cheeks flushed as she listened, her heart pounding in her chest. She bit her lip, trying to find the courage to say something more direct, but her words seemed to catch in her throat. Instead, she took another small sip of her beer and focused on Ash's animated storytelling.

"Wow, that sounds incredible," she said softly once he finished, her gaze lingering on his face for just a moment longer than necessary. "You know, Ash, I think we make a pretty good team. Maybe we should travel together again sometime."

Ash blinked in surprise at her suggestion, tilting his head in thought. "Yeah, that could be fun," he agreed, completely missing the hint of longing in her voice. "But I've got a lot more to learn before I can call myself a Pokemon Master."

"Of course," May sighed, masking her disappointment with another sip of her beer. Her eyes flickered to the ground, wondering if there was any chance he'd ever see her as more than just a friend.

As the night wore on, May continued to subtly flirt with Ash, laughing at his jokes and standing closer to him than necessary. But no matter how many hints she dropped, Ash remained blissfully unaware of her intentions, always steering the conversation back to Pokemon battle and their shared experiences as trainer and coordinator.

Frustration bubbled within May, and she couldn't help but feel hurt by his obliviousness. She knew Ash was innocent and dense when it came to matters of the heart, but she couldn't help wishing he'd notice her feelings for once. With a quiet sigh, she took another sip from her red solo cup, the cool liquid doing little to soothe her growing disappointment.

May's frustration reached its peak as the party continued. She decided to make one last attempt, this time with a more overt gesture to grab Ash's attention. Subtly, she leaned in closer to him and let her hand gently brush against his. Her heart raced with anticipation, but when she glanced up at Ash, he was still completely oblivious, fixated on discussing the regional differences between certain Pokemon species.

Feeling a pang of hurt, May clenched her jaw and looked away, trying to hold back the tears that threatened to spill. The disappointment weighed heavily, making it difficult to breathe. Without another word, she downed the remaining beer in her red solo cup, hoping the liquid courage would help her forget the sting of rejection.

As the liquid burned down her throat, May couldn't help but feel like she had failed. Was she not attractive enough? Were her advances too subtle? Or was Ash simply that dense when it came to romance?

"Hey, are you okay?" Brock asked, concerned, having noticed her sudden shift in mood.

"Fine," May muttered, wiping away a stray tear. "I just need some air."

"Let me know if you need anything." Brock offered softly, watching her retreat from the lively crowd.

Meanwhile, Misty observed May's actions from afar, her grip on her own red solo cup tightening. Seeing May's hurt expression and Ash's cluelessness, she couldn't suppress her growing anger. She had known Ash for years and understood his denseness, but it pained her to see May suffering due to his lack of awareness.

"Ugh, Ash," Misty muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes. "How can you be so blind?"

Her thoughts raced as she considered what to do. Should she confront Ash directly? Or would it be better to pull him aside and give him a piece of her mind? Despite the questions swirling in her head, one thing was clear: she couldn't stand idly by and watch May's heart break any further.

"Enough is enough," Misty muttered to herself, taking a deep breath and steeling her resolve. She wove her way through the partygoers, her frustration fueling her determation as she approached Ash, who was still blissfully unaware of the turmoil his actions had caused.

"Hey Ash!" she called out, grabbing his arm roughly and yanking him away from the crowd. "We need to talk. Now"

"Whoa, Misty, What's going on?" Ash asked, startled by the sudden aggression in her voice.

"Outside," she growled, dragging him towards the exit. The party atmosphere faded behind them as they stepped into the cool night air. Misty released her grip, turning to face Ash with fire in her eyes.

"Are you completely clueless?" she demanded, hands on her hips. "Can't you see what's happening right in front of you?"

"Wh-what are you talking about?" Ash stammered, his confusion evident in his wide eyes.

"May, you idiot!" Misty snapped. "She's been flirting with you all night, and you've just been ignoring her! Do you have any idea how much you're hurting her?"

Ash blinked, his mouth gaping open like a Magikarp out of water. "Wait, May...likes me?" He said it slowly, trying to process this new information.

"Ugh!" Misty groaned, throwing her hands up in exasperation. "Yes, Ash, she likes you! And everyone else can see it except for you. You're so caught up in your own world that you can't even notice when someone has feelings for you."

Ash's cheeks flushed red with embarrassment, mingling with guilt, and the weight of his ignorance settled upon him. "I...I didn't know," he admitted softly. "I never meant to hurt her."

"But you did, Ash," Misty said, her voice gentler now but still laced with frustration. "You need to make this right. You owe May an apology."

"Y-yeah, you're right," Ash stuttered, his gaze falling to the ground. "I'll talk to her. I just... never realized she felt that way about me."

Misty's faces turned into a deep shade of red, her anger boiling over as she glared at Ash. "How," she spat, clenching her fists at her side. "Could you be so dense?" It's like you live in a completely different world!" The fire in her eyes seemed to burn even brighter, and the air around them crackled with tension.

"Look, I-I didn't realize," Ash stammered, his own cheeks flushing with embarrassment. He shuffled his feet nervously, avoiding Misty's seething gaze. "I don't know what to say."

"Ugh!" Misty hugged again, throwing her hands up again. "You better think of something, Ash. You owe May an apology, and you need to make things right before it's too late."

Ash nodded, his resolve strengthening as he took a deep breath and pushed open the door to the house. He could hear the faint sounds of laughter and conversation. reminding him that life continued despite his own turmoil. As he stepped across the threshold, his eyes scanned the room for May.

He spotted her near the refreshments table, picking at a plate of food with a half-hearted smile. Her eyes were downcast, and the sadness etched on her face pulled at Ash's heartstrings. He swallowed hard, steeling himself for the difficult conversation.

"May," he called softly, cautiously approaching her. She looked up, surprise registering on her face, when she saw him.

"Hey, Ash," she greeted, trying to sound upbeat but failing to hide the hurt in her voice. "What's going on?"

"Can we talk?" Ash asked, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "Alone?"

"Um, sure," May agreed, setting her plate down on the table. They moved to the quieter corner of the room, the noise of the party fading into the background as they stood face to face.

"May, I...I'm so sorry," Ash began, his voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't realize how much you cared about me, and I never meant to hurt you." He looked into her eyes; the sincerity in his gaze was unmistakable. "I can be really dense sometimes, and I should have been more aware of your feelings."

May blinked back tears, touched by Ash's heartfelt apology. "Thank you, Ash," she said softly, her voice wavering. "That means a lot to me."

"Can you forgive me?" he asked, his hands coming up to grasp hers gently.

"Of course," she whispered, a small, genuine smile finally breaking through the sadness on her face.

With a sigh of relief, Ash returned the smile, his weight lifted from his shoulders. Although it would take time to mend what had been broken, he knew that their friendship could only grow stronger from here on out. And perhaps, with a hopeful glance at May, something even more beautiful could blossom in its place.

As Ash and May stood there, hands clasped together, the air between them seemed to thicken with anticipation. The world around them faded away as they locked eyes, their hearts pounding in sync.

"May, I... I really do care about you," Ash confessed, his voice barely a whisper. He hesitated for a moment, then continued, "I just didn't know how much until now."

"Me too, Ash," May replied softly, her cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and excitement. "I've felt this way for a long time, but I was scared of what might happen if I told you."

Ash's grip on her hands tightened slightly, conveying his understanding and support. "I'm glad we're finally being honest with each other," he said gently. "And I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what."

For a moment, they simply stood there, basking in the warmth of their newfound connection. Then, without warning, the distance between them seemed to shrink, as if drawn together by an invisible force. Their breaths mingled, their faces inching closer and closer, until their lips finally met in a passionate kiss.

The intensity of their emotions poured into the embrace as years of unspoken feelings swirled around them like a whirlwind. It felt as though time itself had stopped, leaving only the two of them cocooned in their own private universe.

As they reluctantly pulled apart, their eyes still closed, they knew that this marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives—one filled with love, trust, and the boundless potential of their shared dreams.

From across the room, Misty watched the scene unfold with a mixture of relief and happiness. Her heart swelled with pride as she saw her friends finally take the plunge into the depths of romantic love. She couldn't help but smile, knowing that their journey together had only just begun.

"Good for them," she whispered to herself, her eyes brimming with unshed tears of joy. "They deserve all the happiness in the world." And as the party continued around her, Misty felt a renewed sense of hope and excitement for the future that lay ahead—not just for Ash and May, but for all of them.
