"Why do you have to do that?!" Asuna screamed at her leader who is staring at them with a confused look on his face.
The Warriors are in the meeting room and all of them are furious and shocked at their leader. They recently discovered a dark secret their leader has been hiding by going through their recent recruit memories (with his consent of course.)
"What are all of you getting so pressed?" He asked in confusion, "I have to make sure that he stayed on our side. He has worked for our enemy and has done terrible things in the past."
"And that doesn't excuse you from doing that to him," Chisato said, she is disappointed in the fact that their leader could do something so cruel.
"We trusted you to do the right thing and yet, you did this," Anna said in disgust, "You should be ashamed of yourself."
"You should be more than ashamed," Mikage said in anger.
"Okay, this is getting out of hand now," He said in rage as he looked at all of them, "Listen, I did I thought was right!"
"What you thought was right?!" Claire exclaimed in a rage, "You brainwashed and mind-rape Kaige to be your slave!"
He gave her a glare, "Those are a strong choice of words. And you better watch your tone young lady!"
Claire stands up from her choice and unleashed a dark red aura, "Or what?!"
"I'm still your damn leader! Show me respect or else!" He stares at all of them, he is getting angry with them as he did the right thing. Kaige has worked for the Salvation Brotherhood and committed horrible atrocities. Sure, he has been arrested and did his time in prison, but that wasn't enough for what do those innocent people. He had the "genius" to brainwash him and mind-rape him and he can't lie to himself that Kaige was a useless addition to the team. Kaige is a great fighter and a skilled war tactician and he couldn't let that go to waste. However, the Warriors are being foolish at being angry as he was just trying to punish Kaige and made sure that Kaige will stay loyal to them.
"Not anymore," Narrus said sadly shocking him, "Look what you did was wrong and we can't let that slide. You have two choices...either turn yourself in and give up your leadership willingly or we use force to get you to do it. This doesn't have to be harder any harder than it has to be, Baron."
Baron is appalled by this. His own team is telling him to step down from his leadership?! After everything he did for them, this is what he gets?! Wow, talk about ungrateful little shits. Well, too bad for them because he isn't going down without a fight.
"Sorry not sorry, but I'm not stepping down!" Baron shouted as his muscles grew, "I will teach all of you a lesson!" Baron jumps from his chair and charges at them.
And so an epic battle begins, or it would have if Touko didn't shoot a tranquilizer dart at him. Baron is fast asleep and falls face-first into the ground.
"Huh, that was quick," Touko said as she examined the tranquilizer gun, "Kaige wasn't lying when he told us that this tranquilizer gun has fast effects."
"Good, we will make sure to keep it for later," Reisa said as she gets up from her chair and walked toward Baron, "It will be useful in the future." Reisa takes out a power-sealing handcuff and put it on Baron. "With that done, meeting dismiss."
"How is he doing?" Darren asked as he, Kinoshita, Aragorn, Minako, Ellis, and George entered the room.
"He is in stable condition, but the nightmares aren't getting any better," Tsukino answered as she looks Kaige with sadness in her eyes, "I never believed that Baron will stop this low. I've always thought he was a great man."
"Aye, tell me about it," Aragorn agreed looking at Kaige with sympathy, "I always took Baron as an honorable man, but now, he is beyond dishonorable."
"It is, but what about us?" Kinoshita asked causing them to look at her, "The public must know about this. I mean we can't cover this up and they wind to find out eventually."
"Are you suggesting that we should disband?" Ellis gasped at what Kinoshita is saying.
"It's just a suggestion," Kinoshita said, "Look, are we worth anything as a team when our own leader does this behind our backs and didn't bother to tell us anything? We trusted him with our lives and yet, he didn't trust us enough to consult about this decision! Who knows what else he has been hiding and it might come back to bite us in our asses?"
The group thought about what she said and figured she was onto something. Baron was...a secretive man to put it lightly. There is no telling what else he has been hiding. And how are they gonna continue as a team if one of own their members could hide something like this and almost get away with it? They want to have another meeting about this matter, but everyone else is off somewhere else and is still processing this situation. It will be better if they are in a better headspace to discuss the matter as they don't want to make any rash decisions that will cost to be sloppy and off-guard in case an emergency situation happened.
Suddenly, an alarm rings and the group quickly takes out their phones.
"What the situation?!" Tsukino screamed out.
"It's a hostage situation!" Darren answered, "It is located in the nearby mountains that is close to our base!"
"Well, I'm going! Who all with me?!" Kinoshita asked.
"I'll go with you," Ellis said in a sweet tone.
"So I will," Aragorn said as he grabs his sword.
"Count me in," Darren said in a determined tone.
"I'm coming too," Minako said with a small smile.
"I stay here with Kaige and Tsukino," George said as he sats down next to Kaige, "Good luck on the mission."
The group nodded and hurriedly run to the mountains...
The Everlasting Highlands, 8:00 P.M.
The Everlasting Highlands are a popular tourist attraction in this world as the mountains and the woods around are beautiful and the Warriors are around this area, however, no one can't seem to find it.
The forest is colossal and is usually in freezing temperatures thanks to the mountains and the animals that have the special ability to decrease temperatures. Thanks to forest size, a massive amount of species live here and you usually hear mixed animal noises and sounds. The forest has unique flowers that are rumored to have special effects on certain species, however, it is against the law to take on your own.
We see a base that is medium size and bandits of all shapes and sizes are seen around the base. Bandits are very common in this area thanks to freezing temperatures. It may be a popular tourist attraction, but people don't stay here for long and leave as fast as possible once they see what they want to see. Bandits have adapted to this weather as the strong only survived in this kind of climate.
On the cliffside that is across from the base, Jay-Jay is looking around the base and locating the hostages.
'Alright, there are 234 bandits in this base,' Jay-Jay thought as He stands up, 'I need to do this quietly. Can't have them killing the hostages.' Jay-Jay tightens His durag and silently advances toward the base.
