Number four Privet Drive, Little Whining appeared a perfectly normal home. That normalcy was ending today. Today was the day that Death paid the house, her attention.
When Harry woke up this morning, he was no longer a boy who would walk into the forest to die. Wait! What? Where did those thoughts come from?
When Vernon sent him from the table to get the mail. There was an unposted letter for him. He put it in his cupboard before he took the rest of the mail to his uncle. He couldn't understand why he had done it.
When he got back into the cupboard, he saw the letter was from a place called Hogwarts. He had some new stuff in his cupboard. He had a second black envelope, some food, a roll of pounds, a ball cap, some strange golden coins, and a small twig. He opened the black envelope first.
{m}
Mister Harry Potter - Jonathan Balls
When you snap the twig, the lock on your cupboard will open and drop to the floor. Call a cab and go to the address below. Tom the barman will let you rent a room until September First.
In four days, Hagrid will show up at Privet Drive. You must go with him. You will need your Gringotts's key from him.
You need to make an appointment with your account manager. Get your scion ring and parents' will, from the family vaults. From your trust vault, you should grab the box in the corner. It holds a marriage contract, your father's cloak, a necklace, two wand holsters, and a second wand.
Second, when you do your book shopping, make sure you get some additions. Like the pamphlet for muggle-born and raised; it is not on your list. There is also a bookstore in Knockturn you will want to visit. Remember, there is no real black magic. Magic is Magic. Intent is how it is colored.
Third, August Twenty Fourth is the muggle day. Attend in your cloak. There are a couple of meetings you need to see.
Fourth, you need an appointment with the goblin healers. It needs to be a week before school starts at the least.
Fifth, don't forget the cup in the Lestrange vault. It is a Horcrux. Tell the goblins about it.
Last, burn this note, when you can.
Psychopomp
{s}
Harry broke up with laughter at this note. All he could remember was walking into a forest then double green lights hit him. Then he woke up in darkness and he met a skeleton there. She was death. She was pissed at Dumbledore and Riddle and his premature death. She had a bargain. He had said yes to her.
Now he was back in time. He knew he had to obey the note because of a contract with La Muerta. Not sure what it all meant, but if it got him away from the Dursleys; he would do it.
Death had told him that she had limits. She told him that as he learned stuff, he would remember his past life, but only when Death thought he would benefit from it.
Right now, other than to use Jonathan Balls instead of Harry Potter; and this note, he didn't know what his orders were. He was sure Death was a bitch if he fucked up his orders.
{s}
Harry was amazed, when he wore the hat he was a forgettable brown hair, brown eyed, boy. Perfect for being ignored.
Once he got to the Leaky Cauldron, Tom the barman let him rent a room until September first. The barkeep was great to John. From what the barman said, Harry was able to create some form of abandoned muggleborn identity. He was now John.
{s}
For the next couple of days, Harry was in a constant state of shock. Apparently, he was a wizard. So was Jonathon. But Jonathon was a forgettable muggleborn wizard, not the famous boy who lived.
Jon wondered if he had forgotten something, after paying for everything until he met with Hagrid, he only had enough money to get the pamphlet.
The pamphlet pissed him off. Why was it not on his booklist? It had all about Kings Cross and the Express. Worse, it had all sorts of information that he would have wanted to know as someone not raised in the magical world. It also brought memories. Someone wanted him to go to Hogwarts completely ignorant. He realized that the lack of information would alienate him.
He realized that all but the muggle-born and raised would expect him to act and know things he wouldn't. The pamphlet said that purebloods and magicals had their traditions and customs. His lack of knowledge would cause them to assume he was being an arrogant arsehole when he didn't. To solve that, he would have to buy books on etiquette and manners.
It was at that point he remembered all about the knight bus. He had his way back to the Dursleys, now. Just in time to meet with a certain gamekeeper.
{s}
The meeting with Hagrid was irritating. It had almost taken Harry to curse the half-giant for Hagrid to give him his vault key. He also was spouting an agenda. Not all evil wizards were from Slytherin, he was sure. It was obvious that Hagrid was a minion who lacked intelligence and had unquestionable loyalty to Albus Dumbledore. It was all forgotten when Hagrid got a wonderful owl for his birthday. He found the ticket for the express to be strange So, he dropped it in a muggle waste container a block from the Leaky.
{s}
The meeting with Hooksnarl, his account manager gave him two targets. The Weasley family and Dumbledore. They already had him attached to Ginevra Molly Weasley. He would have to find a way to kill the bint without doing it himself. The rest of the family though… What to do with Albus? That was a question.
At least the goblins would help him. They were upset that Dumbledore had blocked his mail and was stealing from him. This was nothing compared to their ire when Harry was finished being diagnosed by a goblin healer.
{s}
The week in the goblin infirmary was enlightening. Albus Dumbledore had bound his magic several times. He put many traces and other charms on him. Each pissed off the goblins. His relatives put his body in such a state, he could easily die from starvation or other medical issues at any time. It was a wonder he was still alive at eleven. The only concern, he still had a Horcrux in his scar. That would have worried him except, he was sure Death had a plan.
{s}
Now he was ready to go to school. Harry was happy. Death knew what he would face. She made sure he was well-equipped. He had a great invisibility cloak. Well, it was great after he had the goblins remove the charms on it. The wand holsters were awesome. A thought and the wand appeared in which hand he wanted. No one could summon the wands from the holsters. His scion ring made him immune to Legilimency and Veritaserum.
His necklace protected him from potions and poisons. Harry wondered about that. Why would death think he needed that? Something told him, everything she gave him would be needed when he started at Hogwarts.
Then Death gave him his own Black Prince's Ruby. It was a wand. Well, it was a wand when he wanted it to be a wand. A very powerful wand. It was also a scythe. Harry was not sure what powers the scythe could do, but as a servant of death, it should be fun. He was glad he remembered that Death had promised that it was as quiet as Death herself.
{s}
"Albus, what are you doing here?" Minerva asked. She was having tea in the Leaky before the muggle parents were supposed to arrive.
"You told me about our future bookworm. Someone that is addicted to knowledge. The greater good needs someone like her." Albus replied.
Neither realized that the chair nearby actually had a person there, under an invisibility cloak. Jonathon was listening to Albus and Minerva discuss a student that was going to be used against him. Then the two discussed the boy who lived. How he was to be sorted into Gryffindor for the greater good.
{s}
"Miss Granger, do you know who I am?" Albus asked with his grandfather's persona. Minerva had separated the girl from her parents as they waited for the other parents and children to arrive.
"You are my future headmaster, also the leader of the light," Hermione replied.
"Thank you, Miss Granger. I see you read the books Professor McGonagall gave the smartest witch this school year. Now, what would you do to have an old great family library?" Albus asked.
"What do you mean?" Hermione asked.
"There will be one of your fellow students, we need to keep him in the light. Unfortunately, he is fated to die. If you can help keep him in the light, I will guarantee his family library will be yours." Dumbledore replied. "That will give you access to family magic you could not learn any other way."
This excited the girl. She was bouncing on her feet. "What will I have to do?" She asked. It was obvious that Albus had her ticket. She would do anything for knowledge from a family library. Harry wondered what books Albus had her read.
"You just have to keep him alone so he doesn't have any reason to stay alive. The prophecy says he has to die to keep Voldemort dead. He has to be willing to sacrifice himself." Albus said.
"I don't understand," Hermione said. Harry wanted to cheer. He didn't understand either.
"It is quite simple. For the greater good, the boy has to be weak enough and willing to confront the Dark lord when Voldemort returns. The Dark lord will kill the boy. That will end the prophecy protecting Voldemort. I will then be able to kill the Dark lord. You will get the boy's family library because the light cannot risk it falling into the hands of the dark families. I have made arrangements for another family to keep the rest of the boy's family's assets," Albus stated. "If you fail, the Dark lord will come back to full strength. As a muggleborn, he and his followers will torture, probably rape, then kill you. Also your family."
Harry rolled his eyes. How much of a storybook villain was this idiot? Now he knew why death was involved. In the future, he died, because he was weak and suicidal. Hermione is part of the plot. He just hoped the bint did not truly expect Albus to give her the Potter library. She would probably have an accident. He also now had a research assignment. What the fuck was the so-called greater good?
"What will I have to do?" Hermione asked. Harry almost cheered. This information was priceless. He knew the why, now he would learn the how.
"Badger the boy, so he hates studying and spends all his time with goofing off with Ronald Weasley. Keep every other person away from the boy." Albus said. Hermione just nodded. Harry just smirked.
Dumbledore had a plan for him to die. The golden trio was a lie. From the start, they set out to have him slaughtered by Tom.
From how Hermione was acting. She had no problem from the start, on betraying him. Then he remembered a talk from the tent while in the Forest of Dean. Hermione wanted to be the Minister of Magic so she would have unlimited access to all of magic. His family library would be the start dream for her. Hell, his death was probably sealed despite Dumbledore's death; when Sirius bequeathed him the Black Library.
Since his betrothal contract with Ginny had all his assets going to his children, he was sure Albus lied to the girl. He would have to ensure she realized she was betrayed before he crushed her. How many of these people did not realize that Dumbledore believed it was double the pleasure to deceive a deceiver?
Part of him was amused. It was likely that once Ginevra gave birth, Harry would have died. Then she would also.
Thinking back to Hermione. If this girl was the smartest in their year, why didn't she realize that she was an expendable pawn? Well, he better leave before he killed both of them.
{s}
Harry was following Minerva for a while. He did it so he could learn more. While he was seriously hacked off, he realized that this muggleborn and raised day would have taught him so much he needed. Dumbledore wanted him ignorant.
Most of what he learned, muggleborns were not treated well. While Minerva was head of the Gryffindor house, she might have well just stated, her protection did not cover muggleborns, especially Gryffindors.
Then after the children and their parents left, Minerva got a drink in the leaky where she was joined by Dumbledore.
"Well, what do you think, Minerva?" Albus asked.
"If it wasn't for the extra fees we get from these children, I would bar them from the castle. A few of them will leave the purebloods behind. A lot of them are already skeptical of pureblood mores."
"I have already asked Lucius's son, to haze them so they will not surpass the purebloods," Albus promised.
"Good. How was your discussion with the young Miss Granger?" Minerva asked.
"She will follow the greater good," Albus said. "Once Harry is dead, she won't be needed." McGonagall smiled at that.
Harry internally laughed at that. Albus, Minerva, and Hermione would find out what happened when he is threatened.
{s}
"What can I do for you, Mister Potter," Hooksnarl asked.
"I need a new muggle place to live next summer," Harry said. This morning he remembered how to cast Fiendfyre. He would use it as a last result to ensure his need for a new summer residence. He already had a plan.
"I need them to assume legal custody of me before I return from Hogwarts. The people that I currently live with deserve a reward for how they treated me. I will give them that bonus tomorrow."
"It will be done, for twenty galleons," Hooksnarl said. He charged just a token cost. Child abusers deserve torture and horrible death.
"Thank you, I also need some galleons changed to muggle currency. I also need a motor to and back to Little Whinging, Surry." Harry said.
"When do you need the motor?" Hooksnarl asked.
"I have to be there around eleven tomorrow night. I need to be back before midnight. I need to make sure I am not seen by either Aurors or Bobbies." Harry said. "Unless you have an issue with the Dursley being thanked?"
Then he had another memeory flashback. One of the Dursley's neighbors was a Miss Figg. She was at a wizard's trial.
"The motor will be outside the Leaky at nine tomorrow night. It will cost you a single galleon." Hooksnarl smiled viscously.
{p}
Tragedy in Surrey
Last night a house fire in Little Whinging killed four adults, a child, and a bulldog. An electrical short caused the fire.
{s}
Harry was a bit tired. Even sleeping in the motor, it had been a long night. But a great night.
He found out that the cloak also masked his scent. He was able to get right up to the bulldog before he paid the animal back for all the bites that the beast had inflicted on him. He also found out about his scythe. When he had cut the dog, it started to die. The necrosis spread until the dog died. He found out he could adjust the speed of the tissue dying.
Harry learned a couple more things about his scythe wand. For his protection, he could not touch the blade. Also, he could summon it, no matter what form, with a thought. Both poved needed when he grab the neighbor and set the fire.
The fire was easy. He just stuck the tip of the scythe into an electrical socket. It shorted and caused a fire. He was proud of himself. Some spilled oil and the cooking oil container under the socket helped the fire along.
Harry hoped to sleep on the express. One of the Potter Librams had spells to make the trip better. Notice me not would be fun to use. Even with that the ride would still suck. He thought the magical world was nuts. It made no sense to come to Kings Cross then spend hours on the train. When if he remembered right, there were several floo points in Hogsmeade.
{s}
Jon had no problem getting from the Leaky to Kings Cross. Then the fun started.
It started with a lady with a bunch of redheads that kept on shouting words like the platform 9 3/4, muggles, etc. He was sure that was a trap. Given the ages of the children and the mother; there was no way that the woman would forget the platform number. Since she had a wand on her, why was she even on this side of the barrier?
He found a Bobbie on a nearby platform. He said quickly imperioused. Harry ordered the officer to go after the woman, apparently she was a pedophile preying on students. A small child could be completely enclosed in a Hogwarts trunk after all. When the police took them all away, he felt the day was looking up. Then he remembers the lady. That was Molly Weasley and her brood. He was going to send his owl to Hooksnarl. He was sure that the goblin would add to their punishment.
{s}
It was a boring trip on the train. He was left alone for most of the trip. The girl Albus had talked to came into his compartment with another first-year. They were looking for a toad. He recommended they find a prefect to have the person summon the toad. He was just glad she had not recognized the boy who lived. He was not sure how he wanted to deal with her. He knew he would have memories of her eventually.
Then it was showtime. A blonde ponce, with two trolls, showed up looking for him. They had a weird black aura about them.
The ponce was looking for Harry Potter. Jon called him a bastard so the ponce went for his wand. He cast a cutter on each of the trolls. The boy sent back an Avada Kedavra which almost hit him. The blasting hex to the boy's face ended the fight. He then shrank his trunk and moved to another train car, sat down, and continued to read the libram.
{s}
When the trolley witch showed up, Harry just ordered tea. He was not hungry. Harry was too disturbed. What was disturbing to him was worse. He did not remember putting or taking off his cloak. Or putting it away in a secret compartment in his trunk. One of several he had no idea that the trunk had at that moment. The trunk had just appeared in his room at the Leaky.
Then, why he had no issues with killing three people? It was only after sitting down, he was freaking out that he did not freak out over the murder. Then there was the green curse, the blonde boy cast at him. He saw it come from the boy's wand as slow as cold molasses. He seemed to have all the time in the world to dodge it. It did not make sense. What was the black glow around the three boys? He needed to talk with Death.
Even with the hubbub when the trolley witch found the three corpses, Harry was still just lost in thought. Well really not thought but really confusion. So much didn't make sense. How much of this was his agreement with the Grim Reaper and what was it because Death sent him back in the past? Then, there was the question, who was he? Death altered his scion's ring. Whenever he wanted, he could be Jon or Harry. When Hermione came into his compartment, she saw John, not Harry. He hadn't even thought about it. Why had he changed back to Harry after Hermione left? How had he dodged a point-blank killing curse? How much more did he not know?
Then there were the memories. Harry knew he had a violent and antagonistic history with the blonde boy he had just killed. He was not sure how he knew. He also did not have any memories of the ponce. Did this feeling justify what he had done? Was this part of being Death's bitch. He would kill many?
That was another question, did he have a quota? Was he allowed to kill indiscriminately? Did he have a target list he had to kill? Harry sighed. He had more and more questions, but the bitch psychopomp did not give him many answers.
Then he had his last question before he took a nap, would he come to enjoy killing? That was the question he thought of as he fell into Morphius's arms.
{s}
Albus was having a great day. Today his weapon would arrive. He would be beaten down and moldable. With the fake stone in the castle, he was sure that Tom would be showing up. It was possible that Harry would be dead by the end of the year and Albus's name would be as famous as Merlin's.
Since Chance could be a bitch, he had plans, if Tom did not show up this year. Plans within plans even. The boy's two Thomas Mores would be his friends. He could persuade Vernon to send the boy back even more broken down. Next year the youngest Weasley bint would be at the school and the boy would be potioned. Once the bint became a woman, she would use lust potions on Harry. Soon after that, a child would come. After that, many would have accidents, for the greater good. Leaving all of the Potters' assets to Albus. The way life should be.
{s}
Harry had to laugh. The Aurors questioned every student. They checked every wand they could find. Harry gladly handed over his holly wand. It was obvious that the holly wand has never cast a spell. He knew all the students from the train would be taken to the Auror training center to sleep that night. Everyone on the train would be questioned, probably with Veritaserum, before they would let them go into the school.
The only concern was how Dumbledore would respond.
{s}
The Hogwarts staff were all upset. There were three murders on the express. There was no magical signature and no wand was found to match the magic that was at the scene. Lucius Malfoy and the rest of the school board were demanding answers from the school staff despite the staff did not have any. The only one that had any vague idea was Albus.
Albus used every bit of his Occlumency not to show fear. From his source in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, they were looking into Draco's vault, and how he had cast spells that worked with the wards of the express to find a specific individual. At least it was likely that Draco's father was the one that taught the boy the killing curse.
Draco was not the only problem. Albus admitted he had gotten arrogant. He paid Draco directly from Potter's trust vault. He had used that to pay the Weasleys and Miss Granger. While he was authorized as the boy's magical guardian, there would be questions. Worse, Harry would soon learn of his perfidy.
{s}
Harry was having a pleasant dream. He was lying on a black sand beach over a red sea. Then he saw her. Her black feathered wings were like a cloak. Other than her face, she was nothing but a skeleton.
Harry got to his feet and bowed. "Hello, my lady."
"Hello, Harry. You have questions, and will need some advice," she said.
"I have questions about the three I killed," Harry asked.
"I am sure you have. The first question you have is obvious. You want to know the why. That I can tell you. Your original timeline was buggered. People lived that should not. They bred and had children that should not be born. This was not just because of Tom Riddle, Albus Dumbledore was also part of this problem. I used your death and one favor to have a way to fix it. You are that fix, you have to kill," Death said.
"Do I have to?" Harry asked.
"Yes. That was our agreement. You will eliminate most of those I just listed, as well as Tom, his Horcruxes, and Albus. You can kill more, but you cannot wipe out all of Britain's Magical Society. Except for Tom, Albus, and his trinkets, you have to kill enough wizards and witches so that balance has been restored," Death replied with a grin. "Since you work for me, you will not be bothered by killing."
"Will I know who to kill?" Harry asked after a bit.
"Yes, and no. If you concentrate. You will be able to see an aura around people that should not be alive. It is up to you if you are going to kill them. But everyone with that aura you do not kill; you have to kill another," she said smiling with a Cheshire grin.
"Is there a list?" Harry asked. Death just shrugged.
"No, not really. Tom, Albus, and Tom's trinkets have to die. The rest is up to you. For your safety, you might want to target death eaters and Albus's supporters. Beyond that, I don't care which wizards or witches you kill."
"What happens when I kill enough or kill too many?" Harry asked.
"To the first, your deal will be done. The second, unless you triple the size of Brookwood, I see no problem," she said with a smile seeing Harry understood. "You will never be bothered by killing. It would be too cruel otherwise."
"That makes sense. Is there anything else you need to explain?" Harry asked.
"No, but I have some instructions for you. First, you will be interviewed by the Aurors again today. They will provide you with the knowledge you need to know. You should fill out the form to freeze your trust vault from them. Your Hogwarts fees were prepaid by your parents. So you will only need a few galleons each year. I have made another arrangement that will provide you with a thousand galleons a year. The result, your ledger will be at plus one until you reach your majority. You set up the vault for Jonathon. That is where the money will end up. Second and last, this is the last meeting I can have with you. I will only meet with you again when you die." Death said.
"What about my memories?" Harry asked with concern.
"As you need it, you will remember. That way time and fate are not buggered." Death answered.
"Can I get any hints?" Harry asked.
"Yes, be ruthless, be vengeful, be contrary, and enjoy yourself." Death said. "Use your bone wand whenever you can."
"Bone wand? What is that and when do I get it?" Harry asked wondering why this was being brought up.
"Yes, you already have it, it is the one I gave you. It has a hair from the mane of the first nightmare and instead of wood, it is made from the femur of the witch that created the killing curse. She killed over one hundred with that spell. It does look like wood but a wandscrafter will be able to tell. The tip is copper from the first scythe I had. It is quite versatile. I saw you use it as a scythe to kill Ripper and short the socket." Death said.
"Oh, what else can it do?" Harry asked with a smirk. He loved that wand. It was so much better than his holly wand.
"The scythe can change size. Pierce any armor. Permanently kill even a phoenix. The wand boosts your already powerful magic. It will come back to me upon your death. That should be enough. Use it well. Use it often," Death said fondly.
"Can I ask…" Harry started as he woke up. It was five in the morning. He was going to ask the Aurors if he could go run around the track before breakfast. He needed to clear his head. Death had left things out. The color of his eyes changed once he touched the bone wand. They were now the same color as the spell Malfoy had cast at him.
{s}
"Mister Potter, I have some items I need to ask you if you do not mind." The young pink-haired auror stated. She had been the one to let him run. Then joined him at his breakfast table.
"And you are? Harry replied.
"Auror Cadet N Tonks." The auror replied.
"Should I assume you are talking to me since you can just claim oops since you are still in training, rather than Moody there who should know better?" Harry stated with a smile.
"Boy, you are quick. There are several issues the DMLE wanted answers to but somehow the identity of your magical guardian is sealed." Tonks stated firmly.
"Well, that starts with a question. What is a magical guardian?" Harry asked.
"What!" Tonks responded as Harry thought she would.
"Yeah, I did not grow up in a magical family. Until Hagrid rescued me on my eleventh birthday, I did not even know I was a wizard."
"What do you mean rescue?" Tonks asked.
"Miss Tonks. I will answer your questions if you tell me what the N stands for." Harry said with a laugh. It was even funnier when Nymphadora's hair turned red. Once she sat down, he remembered her.
"At the end of the interview, I will. I promise." Tonks replied.
"You must think me a fool then. Name now or nothing." Harry said evilly.
"Fine, it is Nymphadora," Tonks said in a whisper. Her hair turned a wicked red.
"Okay Tonks, ask away," Harry replied.
Tonks was shocked. Something was not adding up. "How do you know I didn't lie to you, Mister Potter?" Tonks asked.
"I just do. Now, I assume the questions are about the incident on the train." Harry replied blandly.
"No, and yes. We asked Gringotts about Malfoy's trust vault. Normally they do not tell us anything useful. This time they gave us everything involving you. Since January, Draco has been receiving galleons from your vault. We then asked about your trust vault. Your magical guardian has had it emptied every December thirty-first of each year. There have also been payments to the Weasley family and a muggle family by the name of Dursley." Tonks stated watching Harry's face.
Harry remained expressionless. Death was right, sometimes you just had to enjoy life. "I know nothing of these. Is there any way to freeze the vault until I come of age?"
"Yes, if you have your vault key. Do you know what is going on?" Tonks said, motioning for a scarred auror with a peg leg and magical eye to come over. Harry was sure he was winding the Auror up. He was going to steer the conversation the way he wanted.
"Hello, Auror Moody. I have no clue what is going on, either in regards to the incident on the express or with Gringotts. Here is my vault key. Please have the goblins freeze it." Harry said watching Tonks's eyes widen. "I have nothing further to say. Since you cannot ask me questions without my magical guardian present. Have a nice day." Harry knew that neither Tonks nor Moody were stupid. He also left breadcrumbs leading the Aurors to Albus.
{s}
"What was that? I am sure the boy played us." Moody growled.
"I have no clue. I would swear he knew my name before I even sat down and he knew yours without any reason he should. He showed no surprise that the goblins are up to something. He didn't even ask how to get money for school and school supplies with his trust vault frozen." Tonks stated.
"I double-checked his wand and searched his trunk myself. He could not have cast any of the spells involved. The fact his trust vault was involved with Draco Malfoy, the blockage of Amelia to find out who his magical guardian is, and his coolness with us gives me pause. He is involved, just no way of proving that at the moment. You are right in thinking there is so much more here. However, until we have cause, there is nothing we can do about the train incident Now we need to open an investigation," Moody growled as he walked off.
"Yeah, who are the Dursleys? Why did he say Hagrid rescued him? McGonagall meets with muggleborns, if there were special circumstances around where he was, Amelia would have been notified, then we more than likely would be sent," Tonks replied.

Albus Dumbledore
The Auror department has frozen the trust vault of one Mister Harry Potter due to involvement in the issue on the Hogwarts Express. Due to prior suspicious activity, Gringotts has extended that freeze until either you arrive with his vault key or Mister Potter hits his majority.

Albus was in a state. "Hagrid. Where is Mister Potter's vault key?"
"Sorry professor sir. Harry and I had a slight disagreement about it, but in the end, Harry told me to hand it over or he would get the goblins involved."
"Minerva, when Harry gets here, before the sorting. Seize his key. It is for his safety after all." Albus requested.
{s}
Harry thought wizards were nuts. They had flooed to the auror training center then back to Hogsmeade. Why could they not floo from the Leaky to Hogsmeade instead of being stuck aboard the train for over six hours? Now they were at Hogwarts. Since he was a first-year. He would be sorted. He remembered that the hat wanted to put him in Slytherin. It put him in Gryffindor. He thought the speech about family was tripe. From what he remembered, the head of Gryffindor did not protect him or the other students from Snape.
"Mister Potter?" Minerva asked when she was about to let them into the great hall.
"Yes, deputy headmistress," Harry said.
"Come over here," McGonagall said. Once they were away from the rest of the students. "We need your Gringotts's key."
"Why?" Harry asked in a cold tone. He knew she had no legal right to it.
"Your magical guardian requires it back," Minerva stated just as coldly. It was obvious she didn't like a student questioning her.
"Well, he or she will have to get it back from Gringotts. I filled out some parchment with the Aurors. They forwarded the parchments and my key to the bank. I was told I would have to get a scholarship to pay for continuing at this school or I will have to go to another school. As deputy headmistress, you should know this. You should also know that since the key was for my trust vault, my magical guardian does not have a legal right to it. Especially to steal more from me."
Harry internally laughed. Minerva looked like she had her entire quidditch team quit. Somehow, he knew that Albus would bend over backward to keep him at Hogwarts. He wondered when she would realize that a muggle raised that she had not met, knew who she was.
"We will have to discuss that at another time, Mister Potter. Who gave you the right to give your key or even talk with the Aurors after their first questioning?" Minerva asked sternly.
"An Auror trainee had breakfast with me. We talked. That ended with her providing me with the required parchments." Harry said with a sneer. This was fun. "She told me disturbing things about my trust vault."
This stunned the professor. What all did Harry say? What all was he told? Albus needed to know about this. While Albus could stop an active DMLE investigation, what if…
"Okay children, follow me," Minerva said loud enough that all the new students would hear. Then she started by introducing herself and giving her first-year speech. It was only then that she realized that Harry knew she was the deputy headmistress. How could the boy know that? What else did the boy know? Albus and she had made sure to not put the muggleborn pamphlet on his booklist. Nor several other books they recommend to muggleborn.
{s}
The hat sorted Hermione into Gryffindor. Harry was sure she should be in Ravenclaw. Anyone that even briefly met the girl, would know she was a born Ravenclaw. Was Albus that obvious? Now it was his turn.
[Sorting Hat, put me in Hufflepuff. Or I can cast fiendfyre before you can finish saying any other.]
[You dare threaten me?]
[Not, I don't make threats, I make promises. You originally wanted to put me into Slytherin, you instead put me in Gryffindor.]
[WHAT!]
[Yes, you should be able to read this is not the first time I have been sorted. So, put me into Hufflepuff.]
After about seventeen minutes, the hat shouted out Hufflepuff.
As Minerva took the hat off his head, Harry stood up and headed to the badger table.
"Mister Potter, Harry. Are you sure you are satisfied with the sorting? Wouldn't you like to be in the house of your parents?" Albus said loud enough that the whole hall heard. Harry smirked at the old man.
"Why would I want to be in a house whose's head is one of your lapdogs?" Harry replied.
"Detention Potter!" Snape yelled out.
"What is the reason for the detention? When I decline the headmaster would ask why. I just did both at once. It is not like I was telling any state secrets. I was just stating what I heard at the auror academy today. They explained hat the head of Gryffindor lets you roll all over her lions except in quidditch. If that is not the truth, I will serve a reasonable detention. Besides, according to Hogwarts' bylaws. No detention outside of physical harm during the welcoming feast." Harry said while going to sit down. Leaving the whole hall stunned. He was sure his speech would give the headmaster a bad time.
The puffs did not know how to respond. In one action, Harry showed cunning as a Slytherin, the boldness of a Gryffindor, and the wit of a Ravenclaw.
Sprout was having a heated discussion with Snape. It was so heated that they were surrounded by a silencing charm. Albus also had a frown on his face. Harry noticed he was scowling at him. It was going to be a fun term.
His diversion worked. He noticed, there were no Weasleys in the hall. His use of the muggle Bobbies worked even better than he thought it would. Albus and his staff were so concentrated on him, they missed that fact.
{s}
The Puffs had better rooms than Gryffindor. They had two people in a room normally. With his outburst, no one roomed with him. They were not sure what to make of him. He did introduce himself to all of his fellow badgers though.
{s}
Albus was hacked off. The Aurors had found a way to talk with the child outside of his control. Not only was the brat's vault sealed now, but those creatures also seized his own. The goblins claimed they sent an owl to him with the why and when. They claimed it hit the same redirection ward he used on Harry.
Then the brat did not go into Gryffindor as planned. One of his spies had been sorted into that house before Harry was sorted. It would not be possible for him to change that without questions being asked. Those questions, he would not want to answer, let alone any of them ask.
He also had a whole supporting family, missing. It hadn't been until Minerva needed her all of her prefects to lead the first years, did she realize Percy Weasley was missing. That led to finding out, all the Weasleys were missing. Did the boy have any responsibility for that?
The most irritating thing though; the boy had not arrived broken down. Worse, he had an attitude. It was likely he would have put an effort to bend the boy to his will. Or have Severus potion the boy.

It was Friday when the Weasleys returned. Well not really returned. People from the ministry took them straight from the muggle world to the school's infirmary. All of them looked like they had spent time in Hell. That started rumors. Harry's favorite was that the Spanish Inquisition was back. After all, nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
Hannah, who was helping in the infirmary, told Harry the truth. For reasons unknown, the Weasley children were sent to HMP Aylesbury while Molly was sent to HMP Bullwood Hall until the Ministry of Magic got them released.
While at the prisons, all of the children suffered major external damage plus internal damage to their mouths, throats, and rectums. Ginevra and Molly had been taken to Saint Mungos instead. They had even more damage than the boys had. It was questionable if the youngest Weasley would be able to have children in the future.
The only reason for the muggle hostility was the brand on Ronald. That was Hannah's guess. The brand was "Red Card". Harry was sure that the goblins had something to do with it. They did not like child abusers. When Harry finally got to look Ron in the eyes, he had a haunted look. Maybe he would learn not to be a betrayer.
Thanks to the look in Ron's eyes, Harry looked at the marriage contract. It required that he was a virgin but Ginevra had no such penalty. But if she could not have children, he could cancel it.
Harry was not surprised when McGonagall came by him at the end of dinner telling him he had to report to the headmaster's office.
"Mister Potter, where are you going?" Minerva demanded.
"It is in the school charter that I can have my head of house when I meet with the headmaster. I am going to get her." Harry replied while heading to the basement. He was looking forward to this meeting.
{s}
"Thank you, Pomona, you can go now," Albus said when Sprout and Potter entered his office. Snape and McGonagall were already there.
"No, Albus. It is Harry's right for me to stay here, and I shall." Pomona replied.
"Harry, you don't need her here. I just have a few questions." Albus tried with his disappointed grandfather persona.
"One, we are not family. Per the charter, I am to be addressed as Mister Potter or just Potter. I will not respond to Harry by you or any of your staff. Two, I do not trust you. I will have my head of house here any time we talk. Third and last, unless it is regarding my scholastic life, you will find that I have memory issues." Harry retorted.
"Harry…" Albus started.
"Mister Potter, that will be ten points from Hufflepuff for your insinuation against the headmaster," Minerva said.
"Albus cut this childishness. Mister Potter told you to address him properly." Pomona cut in. "Harry has the right to not trust any of us. What have we done for him to trust us? That will be ten points for Hufflepuff."
"Fine. Mister Potter, why did you have the police attack the Weasleys?" Albus demanded. Albus figured Harry had to be behind it. He just couldn't figure out how.
"I have no clue what you are talking about," Harry replied.
"Potter, that will be detention for a month for lying," Snape said.
"Professor Sprout. I demand my right to take that punishment to the school board. He had no proof for claiming I was lying." Harry replied.
"Okay, Harry, I will. Your punishment is in abeyance until the board rules on it. I will testify on your behalf. Professor Snape has not provided any evidence you were lying. That said, do you know who the Weasleys are?" Pomona asked.
"Until I met Hagrid, I had no idea I was a wizard. I had no contact that I know of, of your magical world. The people I live with hate magic and try to beat it out of me. I have never met any student that introduced themselves as a Weasley." Harry responded.
"What Mister Potter?" Pomona and McGonagall said in sync.
"The boy is lying for attention." Snape snapped.
Harry stood up and took off his school robe and shirt. His chest had scars all over it. "So these scars were not caused by abuse?" Harry noticed that Snape was stunned, the ladies were in tears, but the headmaster wasn't surprised.
"Now, whatever happened to these Weasleys happened outside of this castle, so even if I did know what happened to them, it is not something that matters to my scholastic life," Harry added.
"You do not care that they were sent to muggle prisons where they were harmed? Molly and Ginevra were violated?" Albus thundered.
"Again, I have no clue who those people are. If they were sent to a muggle prison and had a rough time; they had to have committed a crime in the muggle world. It sounds like when they were arrested, something was found that caused the Bobbies to react." Harry replied. "Not my circus, not my monkeys."
"Fine, leave," Albus growled.
{s}
"Well, that went well, Albus," Snape said after all the other professors left.
"The boy is not pliable. Do what you have to, to change that." Albus ordered. "It is for the greater good after all."
"I will try. Did you notice he neither confirmed nor denied what happened on the platform?" Snape asked. "That brat did not even question why Minerva or I was in the room. Is he that stupid or is there something else going on?" The potion professor was heading to the exit.
"Does it matter?" Albus replied. "Getting the brat under control is the only thing that matters. I may have made a mistake Severus. All I got from Harry was anger and Hate. If we don't control him, he might become worse than Tom, or join him."
{s}
Despite his damage, Ron was quickly sorted into Gryffindor. Well, he had the hat put on his head the first night he was released from the infirmary. The hat was on his head for a full two minutes. The hat refused to put him in Hufflepuff. The idiot openly asked Dumbledore to overrule the hat in front of the whole school.
{s}
It was Halloween. He expected a show. Then it started. Despite the actual hurt look on Hermione's face, it was obvious to Harry that Ron and she were playing it up. Both had successfully floated their feathers when they thought he wasn't watching. Harry thought it was to try to get Harry to have sympathy for the witch.
Hermione had made friends with both Hannah and Susan, so he was sure tonight they would send him to the bathroom to save the girl. The question for the night, how had the troll been lured to that specific bathroom. He would have to see how that was done, tonight.
{s}
Sprout was sympathetic, she thought it was in bad taste, to require Harry to attend a feast to celebrate his parent's death. Dumbledore was adamant. Harry had to be at the feast.
Harry sat there at the end of the table. He ate lightly. He would have to run quickly. Then he counted down. When he got to zero. Professor Quirrell came sprinting into the Hall, his turban askew and terror on his face. Harry let Quirrell pass where he was sitting, then got up, and ran to a specific bathroom. Everyone else in the hall stared as Quirrell reached Professor Dumbledore's chair.
He made it to the girls' bathroom just in time to see the back side of the troll go in. He saw the troll was following a will-o-wisp. The wisp opened the door letting the troll in and disappeared.
Running into the bathroom, he was almost knocked over by the stench of the creature. Hermione's scream brought his attention back to the matter at hand. Hermione was washing her face when the troll came in. She hadn't looked up. She was expecting a visitor.
Last time, he jumped onto the troll's back. This time he just hit it in the back with a weak cutter. That caused the troll to turn and roar. That gave Harry an opening. He quickly cast a blaster into the mouth of the troll at an angle. That caused the top of the troll's head to shatter out saving the girl.
Hermione slowly got up. Harry turned and left before she could ever see him. He would call the life debt in after he was ready for that. Now, he had to send a letter to Rita Skeeter. Friday planned on generating a fun breakfast.
{s}
Harry saw a Rita appear on the map. It had been a cinch to use his cloak to steal it from the twins. Death seemed to know which memory would help him. Once Rita and Hedwig arrived at his table, he would have a book to deliver.
Harry got up and walked to the teachers' table. "Professor Quirrell. I have this new defense book, you are listed as a contributor. Would you sign it for me, please?"
"of course, Miss teer Pottt Teeer," Quirrell replied. Everything looked normal until Quirrel looked down at the inside of the book to write, Harry then place his hand with a quill in it on Quirrell's hand. It instantly turned to ash, a burning that continued up his body. Harry grabbed Quirrell's other hand as he drew a wand. Once both hands were burned off, Harry stood back and screamed. Everyone in the hall stopped to look at the head table. They were in shock at the professor going up into flames. Then the wraith leaves the back of the head. "Fool, boy, I am immortal. I will return and kill you." It was obvious that it was the face of Voldemort
Harry internally thought, score. The beetle in his hair saw everything. Now he had to score again. Harry walked to where Dumbledore was sitting in shock. "Well headmaster, was this the thing that would cause a very painful death on the third floor or was this what you were luring with whatever is being protected there?"
Albus just glared at him. Harry turned and left the room to go to his first class. He noticed the beetle flew off when he had left the room.

Horrors at Hogwarts
Yesterday at Hogwarts breakfast, the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, Quirinus Quirrell, burst into flames. A wraith that was identified as he-who-shall-not-be-named by the Department of Mysteries burst from Quirrell's ashes.
This would be bad, but the questions this raised are much, much worse.
How can a professor be possessed by he-who-shall-not-be-named and the Headmaster of Hogwarts does not realize this?
During the opening feast, the same headmaster had placed something in the castle to lure he-who-shall-not-be named to the castle.
Something, the headmaster had lured him to the school. Something so obvious the headmaster had talked about during his opening feast. How else would you interpret what Albus said: "I must tell you that this year, the third-floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a very painful death."

Albus was in a state. The questions about Tom were now happening. Questions he could not answer if he were to remain in power.
There were also questions he had that currently had no way of getting answers. Like setting Quirrell on fire, he did not know how Harry had accomplished it.
Now, he had to get a new DA-DA professor. Placate the school for now, the board would be the task for the next Tuesday. The board had ordered this meeting. That was not good. If he lost his place, it would damage his greater good.
{s}
Today had been a fun day. Today was the first potion class he had with Snape. The greasy git decided to have a go at him. The poor professor gave him detention because he was a know it all. Twenty minutes after class, he was in McGonagall's office with Professor Sprout and Susan Bones. Once Sprout threatened to ask all of her badgers in the class, Minerva gave in and canceled Harry's detention.
Minerva was frowning the whole time. It was obvious she thought that he deserved the detention for challenging a fellow teacher.
{s}
Today was the last day of the term. Tomorrow the students were going home. Harry thought that alone was causing the headmaster to be visibly upset. All those students getting other opinions than his.
Then Albus announced that the third floor was now safe. More sour grapes, Harry thought. Who would risk the students' lives like that?
It was almost a laughable situation. He had one more thing today. He had to put his name on the list of people leaving the castle. He made sure there was a splotch on the list. That was what the cloak was for. He also wanted to see how Dumbledore would respond.
{s}
"Mister Potter, what are you doing here?" Professor McGonagall asked.
"What do you mean professor? My name is on the list." Harry replied.
"No it isn't. That will be twenty points for lying." Minerva said.
"My name is right below Zacharias Smith. Look, or do we need to involve Professor Sprout, or how about the press?" Harry responded.
"You will have detention if your name isn't…"
"So professor?"
"Twenty points to Hufflepuff. You were correct mister Potter. However, you should stay here. The headmaster will need to approve this before I can let you go."
"Yeah right. Unless my authority figures say I have to stay here, Professor Dumbledore has no authority to stop me. Plus the train is leaving now. See you later." Harry said as he walked around the professor and got aboard the train. He wished he had a camera to take a picture of Minerva's face. The staff would have to realize that he was not a meek sacrifice, sooner of later.
{s}
Harry was not surprised. Snape, Hargrid, and Dumbledore were at the station waiting for him. It was too bad he had apparated from the train to another train and then entered platform 9 ¾ from the muggle side to watch the fun. Since he was in his cloak, they did not see him.
He turned around, and went to get a taxi. He needed to get to the Leaky before the idiots thought about it.
Well, he got to the Leaky in time. It was close, Albus was coming through the floo as he entered the alley. He ran to Gringotts.
{s}
"What do you have for me, Hooksnarl?" Harry asked.
"I have a family for you. The father is Simon Honey. The mother Lindsey Drew. They have too much publicity for Albus to try anything." Hooksnarl replied.
"Interesting. Do I want to know about your smirk?" Harry asked.
"In effect, you will be with a couple that have a very public life and a major private life. They are involved in the British blue industry." Hooksnarl replied. "Here is all you need to know. Oh, they are both squibs. Their house is warded highly. It seems that they are a bit paranoid."
"Excellent, I will head there now. Oh, Albus is outside the building, waiting for me. Is there a back way out?" Harry asked.
"Of course, and a private floo area. I would suggest you floo to the Canalhouse. Then take a muggle taxi to your new parent's home."
{s}
Albus was upset. The boy had disappeared. He would now have to send the order of the phoenix to find the boy. Then he realized he was an idiot. He looked at the blood charms. He was shocked. The ones that tracked Harry's health and location were no longer working. The one for the wards at Privet Drive, was still there and working. With that, he assumed the boy for an unknown reason, had gone home for Christmas. He then went on to his Yule plans. He would not come back until the New Year. What he did not realize, on Boxing Day, that charm shattered. It wasn't until Beltane for him to notice that fact.
{s}
Harry noticed that the headmaster was watching him at the welcome-back feast. Tonight was going to be a fun night. He was going to kill a pair of prefects. He planned on killing one to four students a fortnight.
{s}
Harry watched the male seventh-year prefect go into the loo. The female just leaned against the wall across from the entry door. It was child's play for him to come up to her and slit her throat with his scythe. He was glad he had extended the scythe. He just wished that he could make the scythe invisible. He then turned it back to a wand.
"Diffindo" Harry said once the male prefect left the loo. It was done. He slipped back to his common room. A quick apparition allowed him to bypass the portrait.
{s}
It did not surprise Harry that since two purebloods had died, the DMLE was searching the school. This time, peer pressure made the purebloods take the truth serum to prove they were innocent. Harry did the same. Once it was clear that students and faculty were not involved, Aurors were stationed at the castle.
Harry didn't mind. Two of the new security had the black aura. One of the supervising Aurors also did. This was prefect for Harry. Those three visited Snape every week. He just had to plan.
{s}
The rest of the school year was pretty boring. The worse, he had to tone down his skill on a broom. The best, when Dumbledore called him to his office again. While no more people were being killed, Peeves, some of the ghosts, and a large number of portraits had ceased to exist. Death had been right, the scythe killed everything.
{s}
Harry Potter, and Pomona Sprout were summoned to the headmaster's office. The other three heads of houses were there.
"Mister Potter, what do you know about the ghosts and the portraits?" Dumbledore demanded.
"I am a first year student that you had raised in the muggle world. How would I have the first clue about either of them? Until I got to Hogwarts, I did not know that ghosts were real or that portraits could be sentient." Harry replied. "I would have to assume that the great Albus Dumbledore already knows my lack of knowledge of the magical world, therefore you are using those for an excuse to talk with me."
"Mister Potter…" Pomona started.
"It is okay professor, I am not mad. Not really any point. From Dumbledore here having Hagrid take me from the ruins of Godrick's Hollow to the Dursleys, to today. He seems to think he can control my life." Harry said.
"Harry, do not…" Albus started.
"First, again, it is Mister Potter. And do not what? Do not tell that you had Hagrid kidnap me. That is what it was. Gringotts has a copy of the will. Which you were a witness to. So you know the will specifically states that I was never to be placed at the Dursleys. That Sirius did the godfather ritual…"
"ENOUGH!" Albus bellowed.
"I think not. After all, the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches…" Harry retorted.
"Silence, Harry!" Dumbledore barked.
"Fine, since this is not related to my school work, good-bye." Harry said as he left the shocked room.
"For the greater good, stop him. We must obliviate him." Albus roared.
"It wouldn't do any good. Mister Potter spoke to Rita Skeeter before lunch." Pomona said. This left Albus doing a fish impersonation.
"How could he?" Albus asked.
"Why shouldn't he? For that matter, what is this about a will that was not obeyed?" Flitwick demanded.
"For Mister Potter's safety, I put him with his muggle aunt and uncle." Dumbledore said.
"Well, you might have to explain that one the Wizengamot." The charms teacher said as he left. Soon followed by all but Snape.
"Severus, why haven't your potions taken effect? Harry is still not obeying us." Albus whined.
"From what I can tell, he checks all of his food and drinks for potions." Severus replied.
"Then I have no choice. Severus. Use the imperius." Albus said.
{s}
"Mister Potter, stay behind after you are done with potion," Severus said.
"Yes, sir," Harry replied.
Once all the students left, Auror Dawlish came into the room distracting him. When Harry turned to look at the Auror when he heard "imperio" behind him. He decided to act out of it.
"John, thank you for joining me. Albus decided that he was losing control over this brat. He authorized me to use this curse," Severus said.
"Good, then when our master is back, we have a proper present," John said as he walked up to the professor's desk. "I came to get some lust potion. There is a cute little Puff that I want to sink my length into her arse."
That is when the two adults made a mistake. They had turned their backs on Harry while getting the potion. Harry drew both wands, pointed at center mass, then said diffindo. Two red spells slammed into his targets. Harry's aim was true. Both instantly dropped to the ground. Both spines were cut.
Harry walked up to the open potion cabinet. He grabbed the essence of Dittany. He touched the scythe to the exposed bone and nerves, once the necrosis started. He applied the essence to the wound. Both adults were having problems breathing. Harry then put everything away. He just sat on the desk watching the two die. While waiting he kept casting lumos with his holly wand. He used his bone wand to levitate the two into Snape's private quarters. He then got up, disillusioned himself and walked to dinner.
{s}
"Professor Sprout, I was told after class that I had detention with Professor Snape tonight. I just spent ten minutes in his classroom and he was not there. What do I need to do?" Harry asked.
"That is strange. I will send my patronus to Minerva, you can go back to the common room. I will find out what is going on. It will be likely you will have to serve tomorrow night. What did you do to deserve the attention?" Pomona asked after she sent her patronus. She was not sure she really wanted to know. It would probably irritate her.
"I look like my dad," Harry said.
"Really?" Pomona asked obviously skeptical.
"Well, that is my opinion. The official was that I was breathing too loudly," Harry responded.
"He didn't?" Pomona asked. Harry just nodded. "I will have a discussion with Minerva about this.
"Sorry to say professor; Dumbledore lets Snape get away with everything. McGonagall just goes along with that. Nothing will change. Don't waste your time," Harry said.
{s}
"Mister Potter, when was the last time you spoke with Professor Snape?" Amelia Bones asked.
"At the end of my last class. He held me back to assign detention for last night. He then sent me to dinner," Harry replied.
"May I see your wand, Mister Potter?" Amelia asked.
"Sure, may I ask what this is about?" Harry asked while handing over his holly wand.
"Prior Incantato," Amelia said. "What classes do you have today?"
"I had a double of herbology then a single of care of magical creatures," Harry responded.
"Then why are there so many Lumos and Nox on this wand?" Amelia asked.
"What is Morse code for, how was your day break lunch tomorrow?" Harry responded.
"I do not know. What is Morse code?" Amelia inquired.
"Sound or light, like the word how is four quick flashes, three long tones, one short, two long pulses of light. A few of us learned Morse code, so we can send messages from the basement to the top towers," Harry responded. "I have been teaching people like your niece it. I hope you do not mind. Only a few of us can cast a patronus to send messages. In this case, I was practicing the code."
"So you were practicing this code?" Amelia asked.
"Yes, while waiting for Pomona to let me know about the detention I had been assigned last night," Harry said congealable.
"What were you assigned detention for?" Amelia said.
"That was the second question. It was officially because I was breathing too loud. I think it is because I look like my father," Harry said. This caused Amelia to turn and scowl at Minerva.
"It is true. Just ask your niece. The rest of the professors just let it happen. Professor Sprout and Flitwick defend us when possible. However, the headmaster and deputy headmaster just let it happen," Harry said.
"Mister Potter, that will be detention tonight for…" Minerva started.
"So, you are punishing Mister Potter here because he said the truth?" Amelia asked.
"It is not that he said the truth. It is how. Each professor has the right to maintain order in their own classrooms." Minerva tried to justify.
"How many of these punishments do not fit with the school's bylaws? Not to mention those punishments that are questionable." Amelia said with a hard look.
"Hogwarts is a sovereign nation. We don't have to listen to this," Minerva finally said trying to end the conversation.
Amelia shook her head. "Small wonder Albus pushed for the ICW rules to keep students in their home country. With that attitude; how many students would leave just for how you run the school? I will not even discuss the quality of education. I want to send Susan to Beauxbâtons. After she passes her OWLs, she will go there," Amelia said. "But you are right, that is not what I am here for. I no longer need to talk with Mister Potter. He is innocent of what happened last night. Mister Potter, please return to your class schedule. Here is your wand back. If you can get me a book on Morse code, I would appreciate it."
{s}
Rumors travel faster than the speed of a patronus in the castle. The question was not whether Snape and an Auror were dead, but how they died and why they died. Harry did not care. Exams were starting next week. The week after, he would have to deal with Dumbledore when the idiot would realize that he had new guardians.
{s}
Harry noticed that he was being watched. The last two Aurors with the black aura were following him. He came up to whisper into Susan Bones's ear. While doing that, he slipped his cloak into her pocket.
Harry was glad of it. It only took about ten minutes once the train left Hogsmeade for the Aurors to try to kill Harry. Again, he was able to dodge one of the green beams. The other hit Susan in the cloak. That dissipated the spell quite easily. This was quickly finished with a bombardo. Then Harry cast a confundo on Susan once she came out from his cloak. He ensured that she would not remember being hit by the avada kedavra. Then he confounded himself, the Ak just missed. There was another bonus to this fight. Amelia would release him to his new guardians.
