Once again as promised, another one shot! This time a silly Halloween story based off of the wonderful modern AU, 'what makes a family,' by the wonderful StardustAndAsh on A03! Seriously, go check this one out if you like modern settings. They have my favorite characterizations of the Batch of any fic I've read and it's just delightful. Their modern AU is what I consider 'canon' for Bad Batch modern AUs, so I've tried to follow their universe in this.
A few quick things from their universe to give you a baseline: The Batch (minus Echo who is a half brother) and Omega are the children of Jango Fett and Nala Se. They were raised by Nala Se, who is abusive and isolates them. Omega is removed from Nala Se's care by CPS and is given to the Batch. This fic ASSUMES that the Batch will be awarded full custody of Omega. Hunter works for the city in the Parks department, Crosshair is a wildlife photographer, Tech is a mechanic at Anakin's garage, Wrecker is a cook at Cid's bar, and Echo is a student.
A lot of this is based off of my own Halloween experiences.
Should be everything! Please enjoy!
October 4th
"What are you going trick-or-treating as?"
Lyana's question to Omega floated over the chatter of the other children at the playground. Tech barely registered it. He mostly listened for calls of distress or need.
He was busy looking up his and Phee's latest question: where shoes originated from.
The autumn sun made the fingerprints and smudges on his tablet almost more visible than the article he was reading. Phee peered over his shoulder, absorbing the new information. Tech did not care to recall how the conversation had turned to such topics, but he and Phee often ended up on small research trips.
"Auntie Phee!"
Tech looked up to see Lyana and Omega crunching through the autumn leaves scattering the playground.
"What is the matter?" Tech asked immediately at the distress on both girls' faces.
"Omega's never gone trick-or-treating!" Lyana said.
Tech then recognized the exact expression on Omega's face. It was the uncomfortable realization that there was another aspect of childhood she had not experienced.
Luckily, Lyana was not one to tease her for this. Indeed, the girl was often ready to remedy Omega's lack of experience.
"She hasn't?" Phee asked, glancing at Tech.
"No." Omega said quietly."I didn't even know about Halloween until October started. Mother- didn't like holidays."
Tech resisted the urge to grimace. The woman who claimed the title of their mother only through the happenstance of childbirth did not celebrate holidays, birthdays, or anniversaries. She had deemed them unnecessary. It had taken Tech especially a long time to relinquish that belief. Along with so many other 'lessons' Nala Se had taught them.
"Can she come with us, Auntie Phee?" Lyana begged.
"I'd say yes, but that's really up to her brothers." Phee said.
Omega and Lyana turned hopeful gazes to Tech. Tech cleared his throat. Omega's brown eyes pleaded in a way that only Echo and Crosshair could say no to. It was unnecessary here.
"I do not see why not." Tech said. Then he paused. "Er- what will she need?"
Phee shot him a look he had come to recognize as sorrow for his and his family's limited experiences.
"You never got to go either?" She asked.
Tech shook his head.
"She'll need a costume!" Lyana burst out.
"Of what?" Omega asked.
"Of whatever you want!" Lyana said. "You can be something scary, something funny, something cool- anything! You just gotta dress up!"
Tech glanced to Phee and she nodded with a smile.
"You'll need a bucket or a pillowcase for the candy too!" Lyana went on. "But that's all you need!"
"I assume that a responsible adult will accompany them." Tech said. "Do- the adults need to acquire a costume?"
"I usually come with Lyana, yeah." Phee said. "And they can if they want to, but they don't need to."
Tech filed the information away.
"Lyana, why don't you tell Omega what you've been the last few years?" Phee said. "To help give her ideas of what she can be."
"Okay!" Lyana said.
She and Omega dashed back towards the playground. Tech watched as they jumped belly first onto the swings.
"You can tell Hunter when you get home and maybe he'll be ready for next Halloween." Phee said.
Tech looked at Phee, concerned.
"Joke." She said before Tech could ask. "Sorry."
"No need to apologize." Tech said. "Are there any more aspects of trick-or-treating that I need to be aware of?"
"The kids go door to door and people hand out candy." Phee said.
Tech frowned and pushed up his glasses.
"That sounds rather unsafe." He said.
Phee laughed.
"You'd think, wouldn't you?" She said. "But the kids usually have their parents and it stays pretty safe. But that's got me thinking. Where did 'trick-or-treat' come from anyway?"
"I am not sure." Tech said, turning his tablet on. "Let us find out."
October 15th
Crosshair tapped the wheel of the Marauder as the line inched forward. School parking lots were designed by the devil, he decided, giving yet another soccer mom in a white minivan a death glare as she tried to edge in front of him. It wasn't just elementary school pick up lines. He had distinct memories of nearly dying in the high-school parking lot and the Marauder wore at least a dozen dents from that time.
Tech always told him to get there early, but Crosshair did have other things to do besides sit for thirty minutes outside the school, getting weird looks from the stay at home moms.
He didn't even know how he'd fix it. He was sure that Tech could give some long, complicated answer about how they could make this less excruciating, but all Crosshair wanted was for it to be different.
And he only had to do it once a week. Hunter pulled double duty since they hadn't saved up for the mods they'd need for Echo to drive.
To top it all off, Crosshair couldn't listen to music because Wrecker had somehow gotten the passenger window stuck open and Tech hadn't had time to fix it. Crosshair didn't want to have to deal with another call from PTA Queen Breighlynne with her breathy fake voice going on about 'not school appropriate' and 'borderline degenerate' lyrics. It was funny, because Crosshair felt the same way about the three different cars blasting Baby Shark at varying levels of loud.
Finally Crosshair pulled up to the curb, where Omega and Lyana were happily chatting. Crosshair frowned as he realized that Lyana was happily chatting, while Omega, while smiling, wasn't saying much.
"Don't worry, I know all the best houses to hit!" Lyana was saying. "There's this one house that has a bunch of really scary decorations, but they'll give you full sized candy bars if you go up to the door!"
Crosshair honked to the beat of 'shave and a haircut' and saved Omega from having to answer. She jolted.
"I've got to go!" She said. "See you tomorrow!"
"Wait, you never told me what you're going as!" Lyana called as Omega wrenched the Marauder's door open.
"It's a secret!" Omega called back. "Bye!"
Crosshair started to pull away when Omega interrupted him.
"Crosshair!" She said. "Put your seatbelt on!"
Crosshair rolled his eyes, but he knew she wouldn't let it go until he did so. He braced himself for the tidal wave of information about her day, including what costume she had decided on. Last he'd heard, she was still choosing.
It didn't come. Crosshair glanced in his rear view mirror a half dozen times, but all Omega did was stare out the window. Even when Crosshair deliberately took a turn that would add an extra five minutes to their route, she didn't say anything.
Crosshair had had enough.
"All right." He said at the next red light. "Spill it."
Omega finally looked at him.
"What?" She asked.
"You're moping." Crosshair said. "And if I bring you home to Hunter like this, he'll blame me. So spill it."
To Crosshair's eternal horror, Omega burst into tears. He immediately swore, which she didn't even bother to call him out on. Kriff, she was really upset.
A honk behind them made Crosshair realize that the light was green. He swore again and sped forward.
His mind raced as he drove and listened to Omega's heartbroken sobs. Despite what he'd told Omega, Hunter wasn't going to be home. Fall was a busy time for the Parks department, with prepping for winter, and Hunter worked late a lot of nights.
In fact, no one was going to be home. Wrecker was working, Echo had midterms coming up, and Tech's boss was offering overtime. Crosshair wasn't heartless enough to just dump the kid at home and let her cry alone in her bedroom.
But- he was terrible at this sort of thing. Worse than Tech. He'd rather punch the thing making Omega cry than try and talk it out with her, but this was likely a problem with her peers and punching children was illegal. Doing that would lose them custody of her and then she'd be shipped off to live with Jango and nobody deserved that.
Then Crosshair caught sight of a familiar sign and he turned into a parking lot with relief. It was a cafe that had decent enough coffee and he knew it sold hot chocolate.
"Stay here." Crosshair told Omega before sprinting across the lot into the building.
A pale young woman with a shaved head greeted him as he slipped inside.
"Welcome to Nightsister Cafe- oh, it's you. Do you want your usual?" Ventress asked.
"Yes." Crosshair said. "To go. And- a hot chocolate to go. With whipped cream and- do you have sprinkles?"
He scowled as Ventress smirked.
"Do you want rainbow or chocolate?" She asked.
"Rainbow." Crosshair muttered.
"All right. Give me a minute."
She moved behind the counter and started making the drinks. Crosshair shifted his weight from side to side as he waited.
"Shouldn't you be studying for midterms?" Crosshair asked. "Echo's been up at the library til it closes for the last week."
"Your brother needs to calm down." Ventress said. "They're not for another three weeks and he's smart enough to pass without trying. And I was studying, until you came in."
"Hmph." Crosshair said, noting the open textbook at the hostess stand. The place was nearly empty, but he could see more cars pull into the parking lot. "Could be that he's taking harder classes than you."
"I'm in most of his classes, idiot." Ventress said as she squeezed a hearty helping of whipped cream onto a steaming cup. She dumped what seemed like half a can of sprinkles on before handing Crosshair the two cups. "Tell him I said hi, if you ever see him again."
"Doubtful." Crosshair said.
He pulled out his wallet and paid, leaving Ventress a decent tip. He liked it when service workers didn't shoot sunshine up his ass. He nodded to her and hurried back out into the cold.
Omega was still sniffling when Crosshair opened the door. He handed back her monstrosity without a word. He was pleased to see her eyes go wide as she took in the sheer amount of waxy bits of color embedded in the whipped cream.
"Thank you!" She breathed.
Crosshair sipped at his own drink, a plain black coffee, as he waited for the sugar to cheer her up. To his dismay, she began to sniffle again. Crosshair sighed.
"Spit it out." He said.
"I- I don't know what I'm going to be for Halloween." Omega mumbled.
Crosshair raised an eyebrow.
"You're not being graded, are you?" He said.
He honestly didn't know much about Halloween for kids.
Omega shook her head.
"No, but I can't think of anything!" She said. "Lyana has such cool ideas for every year! Everyone in class keeps talking about all these different costumes, and I can't think of any!"
She took a shuddering breath.
"I just want to be normal."
Even Crosshair's shriveled heart couldn't help but ache for the hurt in her voice. He remembered wishing that every day before learning to not give a kriff about what anyone thought.
Then he had an idea.
"Sounds like you just need some inspiration." He said. "And I know some movies that might give you some ideas that your classmates likely won't have thought of."
October 15th
The next morning Omega came bounding down the stairs of their home, much to Crosshair's glee. He'd worried that she'd have trouble sleeping after their movie marathon the night before, but it seemed she was doing just fine.
"You seem chipper." Hunter commented as he poured himself some coffee.
"I know what I want to be for Halloween!" Omega announced.
"Yeah?" Echo asked with a smile. "What's that?"
Tech and Wrecker looked up from their phone and breakfast respectively. Omega's costume dilemma had been a point of stress for the whole household.
"I want to be Chucky!" Omega announced.
Hunter's smile froze on his face.
"Like the evil doll?" Echo asked slowly.
"Yup!" Omega said, oblivious to the horror growing around her.
"When did you see that movie?" Tech asked. "It is rated R."
"Last night!" Omega said. "Crosshair showed me a bunch of Halloween movies!"
Four pairs of eyes locked onto Crosshair. He grinned back.
"It'll be a simple costume." He said. "She'll just need overalls, a striped shirt, and we can find some fake scars at the Halloween store."
"What other movies did Crosshair show you?" Tech asked carefully.
"Halloween, Friday the 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street!" Omega listed off. "I wanted to be Mrs. Voorhees but Crosshair thought that it'd be hard to tell who I was."
Hunter murdered Crosshair with his eyes. Crosshair couldn't resist a snicker.
"You sleep okay?" Echo asked.
"Yeah?" Omega said, confused. "Why wouldn't I?"
Crosshair snickered again. Atta girl.
"Well, we can start getting things for your costume after school, okay?" Hunter said. "But we gotta get going."
"Okay!" Omega said.
She performed her rounds of goodbye hugs and Crosshair accepted his with more grace than usual. Then she bounced out the door.
Hunter rounded on Crosshair.
"What were you thinking?" He demanded. "Those movies are not appropriate!"
Crosshair smirked.
"You're going to be late." He said.
Hunter glared at him.
"If she starts having nightmares again, you get to tell her therapist why!" He snapped before storming out the door.
Crosshair got a few more nasty looks as Tech and Echo left the house. Wrecker seemed more bemused than anything.
Crosshair leaned back in his chair. He'd get a lecture later, but Omega was happy. He'd never say it out loud, but it had been worth the trouble.
October 28th
"Hey Cid!" Wrecker said cheerfully as he opened the bar's back door.
The short, squat woman glanced at him as she bustled about.
"Get clocked in." She snapped. "We've got the football crowd to deal with tonight."
"Right, right!" Wrecker said, heading to the battered old computer in the back.
As he clocked in, he noticed that the new schedule was up. He glanced over it- and found that he was working on a very important day.
"Cid!" Wrecker called.
"What?" Cid snapped. "Hurry up, I've got three orders up here already!"
"I told you I can't work on Halloween!" Wrecker said. "I'm taking Omega trick-or-treating!"
Cid scowled at him.
"You didn't put in an official request for a day off." She said. "Get to work."
Wrecker didn't move.
"Since when have I had to do that?" He protested. "You always say to just tell you what days we need off!"
"Consider it denied." Cid said. "Listen, Bolo and Ketch wouldn't be able to deal with the Halloween rush alone."
Wrecker glared at her and she looked away.
"Sorry, Muscles." She said. "I told you I'm looking for a decent back up cook. Maybe next year."
Wrecker almost quit on the spot, but that'd be stupid for a lot of reasons, most of which he'd hear from Tech when he got home. He pulled his hand down his face and shuffled over to the grill.
Wrecker had wanted so badly to take Omega trick-or-treating. It sounded like a lot of fun, even to watch. But now, with Crosshair off on some photo shoot in Dagobah, Echo still studying for his midterms, and Hunter needing to help make sure the parks didn't get messed up by teenagers, Omega was going to get stuck trick-or-treating with Tech. Tech didn't know fun if it exploded loudly in front of him. And it had, whenever Wrecker could get his hands on fireworks. Omega's first Halloween was gonna be a disaster.
October 31st
"Hold still, Omega." Tech said.
Omega stopped vibrating- slightly. She kept grinning at Tech in the mirror as he applied the fake scarring that would make her more identifiable as the haunted doll.
Eventually Tech was satisfied with the application. He wrapped a towel around her shoulders and shook the spray on orange dye that Omega had insisted on.
A few minutes later, a brown eyed version of the haunted doll grinned at Tech.
Tech was glad that Hunter had put his foot down on colored contacts. They would likely have irritated Omega's eyes and ended the night early. And Tech wasn't exactly sure how he felt about his little sister wanting to look exactly like a doll possessed with the spirit of a serial killer.
"How do I look?" Omega asked.
"Rather accurate." Tech told her. "And- very frightening. Now go show the others."
Omega bounced out of the bathroom and thundered down the stairs. Tech heard Wrecker give a fake cry of fear as he cleaned up the orange residue and makeup glue. The others seemed to give their compliments as Tech could hear Omega's loud 'Thanks!' a moment after.
She was stifling a mortified laugh when Tech joined them in the dining room.
"Look at Gonky!" She whispered. "He's scared!"
Their cat was indeed backed into a corner, tail fluffed up.
"Then we should depart soon." Tech said. "To ease Gonky's nerves."
Omega glanced at the kitchen clock and gasped.
"Oh! I told Lyana we'd meet her at 6:00!" She said. "We gotta go!"
"Hold on." Hunter said. "Crosshair wanted pictures."
"He did?" Echo asked.
"He didn't say it in so many words." Hunter said. "But I got the feeling he'd appreciate it."
So Tech waited ten more minutes as Hunter took pictures of Omega and her jack-o-lantern in the dying light of the front yard. She would have looked somewhat intimidating, brandishing her fake bloody knife, if her face had not been lit up with joy.
Omega was unusually quiet as they drove to Lyana's house, but when Tech checked on her in the mirror, she was grinning and clutching Crosshair's old skull patterned pillowcase to her chest.
Tech saw several groups already out as he pulled into the neighborhood. They seemed to mostly consist of smaller children skipping ahead of their parents. The Hazards lived in a far more child friendly community than Tech and his brothers and he was glad for it.
"Tech!" Omega said in an excited whisper as Tech parked in front of the Hazard's house. "I should say 'trick-or-treat' when we knock! Their house can be my first one!"
"A good idea." Tech said.
This way, Omega could get out any nerves she might have at a friendly door.
She ran up the drive, Tech following more slowly behind. To his surprise, she was waiting for him among the Hazard's jack-o-lanterns and decorations. She looked nervously up at him. Tech nodded. He saw Omega's shoulders go up in a deep breath before she knocked at the door.
The door opened and Shep Hazard's grinning face greeted them.
"Trick-or-treat!" Omega said brightly, though Tech thought he heard a slight tremor in her voice.
"If it isn't Omega!" Shep said. "Looking scarier than usual! You want to pick out a treat while I go get Lyana and Phee?"
Omega nodded and her eyes grew wide as Shep grabbed a huge bowl of various candy. Wrecker was doing his best to educate Omega on the different sweets she had been denied under their mother's care, but her experience was sorely lacking.
"You can choose two." Shep said kindly. He beckoned them in and placed the bowl on the side table. "I'll be right back!"
Omega carefully sifted through the brightly packaged candy before taking a Reese's and a Twix.
"Omega!"
Lyana burst into the room. She was dressed in a tattered gown with rather impressive zombie makeup applied to her face.
"You look great!" She gasped. "That murdery doll, right?"
"Yup!" Omega said, beaming. "I love your costume!"
"Hey, let's get going!" Phee had come in as well, dressed in a leather coat, rumpled shirt, and a 1920's style fedora. Tech raised an eyebrow at the whip at her belt. "Or all the good candy will be gone!"
They bid their goodbyes to Shep before stepping out into the night. Tech was glad to see Lyana take the lead, guiding Omega to the next house.
"So, no costume?" Phee asked. She had fallen into step with Tech. "Were they out of the 'sexy mechanic' outfits at the store?"
Tech stared at her for a stunned moment before he realized it was likely a joke. He pushed up his glasses.
"That cannot be real." He said.
"You'd be surprised." Phee said. "Let me check."
She pulled her phone from a dusty leather satchel.
"Yup." She said. "It's been done before."
Tech stared at the picture she had found.
"Why?" He asked.
Phee shrugged.
"I like to think it's a joke at this point." She said. "Corporations made a bunch of sexy costumes of things that aren't supposed to be sexy. So people try to take it a step further."
Tech shook his head.
"Your costume is very accurate." He said. "From my limited understanding of the Indiana Jones franchise."
Phee grinned at him.
"Thanks." She said. "I've been perfecting it for years. Wanna go as Marion next year to match?"
Tech blinked, mind racing. The love interest?
"Gotcha, not a fan." Phee said before he could get his thoughts in order. "How about Short Round?"
"He- he is not a love interest." Tech pointed out.
Phee raised an eyebrow at him.
"You trying to say something, Browneyes?"
Tech fumbled for words before Phee winked and laughed.
"Sorry, just teasing." She said. "Speaking of movies, she hasn't actually seen Child's Play, right?"
She gestured to Omega, who was knocking at the next door.
Tech scowled.
"Unfortunately, she has." He said. "Crosshair decided to show her several rated R horror movies. He is unrepentant."
"Oh, geez." Phee said. "She handle it okay?"
"No nightmares that we are aware of." Tech admitted. "Though she no longer shows any interest in summer camps."
Omega grew more confident as the night wore on, taking the lead to different houses and her shyness evaporating at the doors. She even began telling strangers that she liked their costumes, receiving many compliments in return. Tech had had to tell her that a hulking Michael Meyers was not real. Still, she braved every house, regardless of the decorations.
Save one.
"It is merely a manikin, Omega." Tech told her.
Omega stared at the limp form slouched in a chair, a bowl of candy in its lap.
"It's gonna come alive!" She whispered. "And make me jump!"
"It will not." Tech said. "This is likely to deter anyone who would take more than their share."
"Or it's a person who likes scaring people!"
Tech blinked at her fear.
"You were unphased by several more horrifying concepts in the movies Crosshair showed you." He said.
"That wasn't me getting jumped!" Omega said.
"Come on, Omega." Lyana said. "It'll be okay."
She took Omega's hand and together they inched to the figure, took one piece each, before scrambling away.
"I told you it was- AGH-"
As Tech walked past the 'manikin,' it lunged for him. Tech stumbled back and nearly toppled over. Phee, laughing, came to his rescue with a hand on his shoulder.
"You were right, weren't you?" Phee said. "Omega didn't have anything to fear!"
The night wore on and Omega ran to each house with a little less vigor each time. Despite Wrecker's best efforts, she was still underweight and did not have the energy of other children her age. She did not complain, but lagged farther and farther behind.
"Omega, " Tech called after Lyana had to wait a few minutes for Omega to catch up. "We are close to Lyana's house again. Perhaps it is time to retire."
"We've only been through half the neighborhood!" Lyana protested.
"Yeah!" Omega chimed in, though she sounded exhausted. "Come on, Tech!"
It was thankfully dark and she could not use her pleading eyes to their full advantage.
"Three more houses." Tech said firmly. "Then we must go home."
Omega did not protest. Tech watched her carefully as she repeated the ritual three more times.
"Lyana, let's head back too." Phee said. "If only to take a quick break."
"O-kay." Lyana said with a sigh.
Omega had slowed down enough to walk by Tech. He was not surprised to feel her slip her hand into his.
"Do you still have your knife?" He asked.
Omega nodded.
"It's in with my candy." She said.
There was a pleasant feeling to walking hand in hand with his sister, with only street lights to light their way and sleepy silence between them.
"Thank you." Tech told Phee as they arrived back at the Hazard's house.
"Of course!" Phee said. "She deserves it."
Tech looked at Omega, who was hugging Lyana goodbye.
"She does." He said.
Phee smiled at him, touched his arm, and bade him goodnight.
Omega fell asleep during the car ride home. Tech hesitated as they pulled into the driveway, but knew she needed to get the makeup off.
"Omega." He said, opening the door. "Wake up. We are home."
She blinked her eyes open and obediently and sleepily stumbled out of the car. Tech picked up her sizable bag of candy and guided her inside.
Echo was still the only one home, studying at the table. He looked up with a smile as they came in.
"That's not the candy you got, is it?" He asked. "Is there a kidnapped kid in there?"
"It's all candy!" Omega said happily. "Do you want some?"
"Sure, I'll take one." Echo said.
Omega took the bag from Tech and held it out for Echo's inspection.
"I didn't know there were this many types of candy!" She told him as he picked out a lollipop.
"Try not to eat it all in one night." Echo said.
Omega rubbed at her eyes.
"I'm too tired to eat candy." She said.
"Then let us remove your makeup and you can go to bed." Tech said and before she could ask, "I will send Wrecker and Hunter in to say goodnight when they get home."
"Okay." Omega said.
She hugged Echo and followed Tech up the stairs. She stood still as Tech eased the scars off with makeup remover and washed the orange from her hair.
"Thank you, Tech." She said as he tucked her in with Trooper and Lula, then she paused. "Did I do a good job?"
"You did wonderfully, Omega." Tech said. "We are very proud of you."
It was not an exaggeration. Omega had struggled to adjust to a somewhat normal life and they were all in awe of her persistence and endurance.
Tech briefly touched her head before retreating to turn the light off. He was sure she was asleep before he closed the door.
From the top!
Yeah, this is just pure indulgent fluff. A nice break from my normal stuff.
Neither Phee or Lyana have shown up in 'what makes a family' yet, but I'd assume that they'd eventually meet and become friends. I personally view Tech and Phee as on the road to getting together in this, but it is definitely up to your interpretation.
Phee and Tech are doing what my family does, where we talk about something weird and then we have to go look it up.
I agree with Crosshair. School parking lots are the devil. I have also decided that when not being used for angst, Crosshair should be used for comedy. He has the potential to be very funny in his POV. Honking to 'shave and a haircut' was something my mom did to get our attention when picking us up.
Ventress just kind of sauntered into this fic and I'm glad she did. I am DEVASTATED that she and Crosshair will never have the chance to interact in canon. I get the vibe that they went to high school together. I decided that she had a rough past, but moved back home to go to school and put her past behind her.
Crosshair showing Omega inappropriate horror movies (he skipped the sex scenes, he's not that stupid) feels so in character. Thank my sisters/editors for that amazing idea.
Frick you, Cid. Nothing to do with the story, it just needed saying.
Also, while Wrecker or Hunter would be the most likely candidates to take Omega, I wanted it to be Tech. So, sorry, not sorry.
I realized too late that I forgot to talk about carving pumpkins. Wrecker did that with her.
I drew a lot of my experiences trick or treating for this. That manikin story happened to me, with me as Omega and my friend being Tech getting scared.
Echo likes old man candy. I will not be taking any criticisms. And while the rest of the Batch are extremely respectful of Omega's candy, Crosshair is the one who just walks past and steals a piece. (Omega doesn't mind and loves sharing anyway)
Welp, that should be everything! I hope you all enjoyed!
Stay safe, remember to review, and I'll see you guys later!
