In the Service of a Madman -REWRITE-

So, I decided to rewrite this story, the setting will remain the same and the names of most characters will remain the same with slight alterations to better fit the setting of the story. I had submitted 17 of the 41 parts I had written but I wasn't satisfied putting out something as bare bones as that version. Additionally, I was using an IP I do not own, and I realized that the only reason I was using that IP was to make a story about a single character, but as that character was described it became clear that the only thing left of the character was the relative design which I had also changed heavily. In order to remain connected to the source material in any way I wrote in setting pieces and story elements that, although they did make sense conforming with the source IP, it distracted from the story and felt out of place. At this point in researching more about the time and region that is the setting I have decided to abandon the source IP entirely and rewrite the elements and characters from that IP in a new way that makes more sense. The story will remain mostly the same as I had already written it, the setting will remain the same, character personalities will stay the same, but they will no longer be connected to that IP. I believe that this is a step in the right direction. The only real holdover at this point is the main character will retain some aspects of the source IP's character design, namely parts of the color palette. This message is to serve as an explanation and as a placeholder. I hope the story of Tule the maid brings enjoyment in the future. -bags
