The Ninth, Izuku Midoriya

The episode opens with Izuku, most of his body covered by some kind of black smoke, finding himself standing on a singular piece of solid land in the dark void. He is in the presence of previous One for All holders, with six of them facing him while two stand behind everyone, staring at the wall instead of looking at him.

As soon as the episode began, Izuku and All Might both steeled their eyes and became hyper-focused on the screen, not wanting to miss any detail of the upcoming conversation.

And they weren't the only ones as everyone around them was also curious and fascinated by the pocket dimension that existed inside a quirk. It was a unique experience that was most likely unique to the existence known as One for All.

"Sorry to do this at such a critical time," Yoichi Shigaraki, the first user of One For All, said with a kind smile on his face.

"This is fate, too," added Hikage Shinomori, the fourth user of One For All.

"Well, it's a matter of timing." Daigoro Banjo, the fifth user of One For All, chimed in.

"Banjo, you talked with him before, didn't you?" En, the sixth user of One For All, inquired.

While these individuals were talking, Nana Shimura, the seventh user of One For All, remained silent and lost in her own thoughts. All Might, the eighth user of One For All, though not physically present, was symbolized by the golden flames that took the shape of his prime form.

'The past users of One For All... In my dreams again...' Izuku thought, staring at the people in front of him.

'So this is what you all look like?' Izuku said as he observed all the previous holders of One for All.

'That's right, kid, and two old farts are standing at the back are the First and Second holders of One for All,' Banjo explained. 'They are a bit cranky due to their age, but they are good people.'

'Shut up, Banjo. We are not old,' Third said while rolling his eyes. 'Me and Leader, we both died young and are preserved here as a vestige in that same state.'

"Before, we could only involve ourselves in the spaces between fluctuations, but we're not limited to that anymore," Yoichi explained. "Because about four months ago, my power- One For All-suddenly started to grow rapidly. Along with that growth, the previous wielders inside One For All were able to take on shape and communicate with each other. And because my brother's power pulled us forcibly in the last battle, it became easier for us to appear before you.'

"Hey, Fumi, it means that aside from you, there is one more person now who has a sentient quirk," Dark Shadow said in an excited voice.

"Even if that seems to be the case on the surface, the situation with Midoriya's quirk is much more complicated," Tokoyami replied. "Dark Shadow, you are an extension of me but with Midoriya, those are real people who once lived on this earth, residing within his quirk."

"Details, Fumi, details," Dark Shadow rolled its eyes.

"Anyway, your private life is still private, so don't worry!" Banjo chimed in with a grin, reassuring Izuku.

"Yeah, I don't think even getting that kind of reassurance will help me put my mind at ease if I had something like that going on with me," Jiro said, feeling dread at the mere thought of someone living inside her head.

Izuku tried to say something but realized that even his mouth was covered by the same black smoke that enveloped his body, rendering him unable to speak. "Oh, yeah, you don't have a mouth."

'No... Back then...' Izuku thought as he remembered his encounter with Shigaraki and All for One in this very same realm. 'I was able to produce some words... My mouth... just barely has some shape!' he said and finally managed to muffle some words, "What did you want to talk about?" while Banjo cheered for his success.

'Well, you learn fast, kid,' Banjo remarked in a playful voice. 'I hope you will have similar results while learning to control six new quirks and also learning to utilize them effectively at the same time.'

"I will tell him," Hikage stood up, showing his towering figure. "I am the fourth wielder. My name is Hikage Shinomori," he introduced himself with surprising warmth, which contrasted with his initially intimidating presence.

"Well, they do say we shouldn't judge a book by its cover," Yu mused, as she observed the tall, well-built man on the screen, his imposing appearance contrasting with his calming presence. "I wonder about that scar, though."

"It's probably a battle scar," Rumi added. "If he possessed the same quirk before Green and All Might, he must have been a target for All for One as well."

"In the last battle, you unexpectedly drew out my power." he continued, and Izuku nodded, recalling his knowledge of Hikage's quirk from All Might's notes, particularly its ability to sense danger. "It was so sudden that it surprised me. I wanted to sense Danger Sense's manifestation."

"He's trying to sound clever!" Banjo butted in with a grin. "Shinomori's a weirdo who got tired of the mundane life and lived like a hermit," Banjo said and playfully attempted to hit Hikage on the back, but before he could, Hikage sensed the attack with his quirk and dodged it, making Banjo comically fall to the ground.

'I am surrounded by idiots,' Second sighed as he observed, Banjo and Hiakge's banter on the screen.

Bango on the other hand rolled his eyes at Second's behavior and glared at Hikage for making a fool out of him.

Meanwhile, outside One for All, everyone was genuinely taken aback by how relaxed the conversation on the screen was going. What they had imagined in their minds was much more serious than whatever was going on the screen right now.

"It was a terrible time. Everyone other than me was a weirdo," Hikage remarked as he deftly evaded Banjo's frustrated attempts to strike him with his quirk, Blackwhip.

'Says the guy who abandoned the society,' Banjo grumbled, growing annoyed at how Hikage was dodging his Blackwhips.

'Well, that was one of the only few things I don't regret in the slightest,' Hikage replied and then smiled at Banjo. 'And meeting you is one of them.'

'Shut up! Stop being annoying,' Banjo said, averting his eyes.

"Did you hear how I died and how old I was at the time?"

"Age 40 when you died... Cause of death..." Izuku began to speak, but he soon noticed that a crucial detail in All Might's notebook had been scribbled out. "It wasn't written in All Might's notes... Actually, it looked like he started writing it and then crossed it out."

"Apparently, I died of old age," Hikage said, his voice turning serious as he stopped messing with Banjo.

"Old age? At 40?" Izuku inquired, his eyes widening in surprise.

Hikage's revelation shook everyone as they stared at the screen with wide eyes. Death wasn't a foreign concept in the world of heroes. Every year, a number of heroes lose their lives in the line of duty, and that number of such heroes was disturbingly on the rise. However, passing away at the age of 40 due to old age was entirely unheard of, particularly for someone like Hikage, who appeared to be in peak physical condition and the prime of life.

"I say I'm not sure because neither Banjo nor I had any way of knowing our cause of death, and we only found out because Yagi looked into it and told us," Hikage explained. "As it turns out, One For All cannot be used by a normal human," he revealed, causing Izuku's eyes to widen even further.

In the audience, Izuku had a similar reaction. The only difference was that his heart raced rapidly, and his thoughts whirled chaotically as he contemplated the potential implications of this new revelation.

"After Yagi, I had One For All the longest," Hikage continued, and we see him training vigorously in the mountains, breaking rocks and other objects. "For 18 years, I ran from All For One and spent my days building power. Since I could tell that I didn't stand a chance when I first inherited the power, I thought my turn would be one used to build power."

"Well, that was a surprisingly smart decision, coming from a person who previously held One for All," Aizawa remarked, glancing at Izuku and All Might. "And here I thought that self-sacrificing stupidity comes with the quirk itself."

"Aizawa," Aizawa turned his head toward Nezu, who addressed him in a stern tone. "I know you do not mean bad when you remark such things, but keep in mind that the people you're talking about have given their lives for the greater cause. Additionally, one of the previous holder's deaths has a much deeper personal significance to Yagi. So, be considerate before making any insensitive remarks about them."

"Y-yes, I will keep that in mind," Aizawa said, stammering a little as Nezu's stern voice took him back to the time when he used to study at U.A. himself.

Hikage then gestured towards a crack on his face, starting from his left eye and extending down to his left lower lip. "And then, in the final years of my life, cracks appeared on my body," he continued. "Maybe I wasn't training enough, or it was from an unknown disease... That's what I thought. But Yagi looked into my medical history and autopsy report and figured out the truth."

"Really! That is the reason behind that scar," Rumi exclaimed with a tinge of disappointment in her voice. "At the very least, I hoped it was from a space cat or something."

"Rumi stop with your childish remarks and pay attention, he is saying something important," Ryukyu glared at Rumi who muttered a quiet 'sorry' to her friend.

"The 'old age' was basically because I had multiple Quirks in one body, and it was shortening my lifespan."

"Lifespan...! No way...!" Izuku exclaimed, shock and surprise evident in his voice.

"Wait, does that mean, Izuku..." Momo began, her eyes widening with horror as she connected the dots in her mind.

Slowly, the realization spread among the others, and they turned their eyes towards Izuku, their faces displaying various emotions.

"Hey, All Might, this is what you were hiding, isn't it?" Bakugo asked the former Symbol of Peace. "This is what you had scribbled out of your notebook."

All Might nodded. "Yes, young Bakugo. This is the very thing I was reluctant to share due to a lack of concrete evidence. But if Hikage himself is confirming it..."

"Even if you weren't sure, you should have brought this up sooner," Aizawa interjected, glaring at All Might. "Do you understand the implications of what Hikage just revealed? Midoriya could be literally dying-"

"Calm down, everyone," Izuku interjected, drawing attention back to him. "Let's allow Hikage to explain everything before jumping on All Might like that."

Bakugo narrowed his eyes at Izuku. "You know something, don't you?"

"That's not the point here, Kacchan," Izuku brushed off Bakugo's question with a wave of his hand, not revealing that he had received a brief explanation from Hikage within his own mind. "I'm saying we should stop ganging up on All Might."

"Midoriya is right," Nezu chimed in. "Yagi made the correct choice in not revealing something that could have caused unnecessary panic and stress to Midoriya and those around him," he said, urging everyone to focus on the screen.

But then, something clicked in Izuku's mind, and he exclaimed, "But...! Wait a minute! All Might had it for longer when the power was much stronger!"

"Oh yeah! Now that he mentions it, didn't All Might create literal tornadoes with his punches?" Ochako exclaimed, her face showing a surprised expression. "People used to wonder how a single person could have that kind of power."

"Perhaps he didn't age as rapidly because he didn't have access to other quirks like Izuku does now," Momo suggested.

"No, that's not the case, since no one, aside from me, sprouted extra quirks during their time as One for All's holder," Izuku shook his head. "The real reason is far more 'in your face' kind of thing if you know me and All Might well enough," he said, causing All Might, Bakugo, and Gran Torino to widen their eyes as they realized what Izuku was hinting at.

"What we needed to tell you is the same thing as what Yagi noticed about the burden of carrying One For All," Yoichi said, casting a glance at All Might's vestige. "The others didn't have One For All for long and died in battle, so I'm the only sample we have for comparison. So we thought about what Shinomori had that I didn't."

Izuku only needed to think for a moment before he connected the dots, "All Might was Quirkless!"

"Ah, I see, this makes much more sense now," All Might acknowledged, nodding in understanding.

Meanwhile, everyone in the audience slowly digested on-screen Izuku's words as their heads slowly turned towards All Might. "You were quirkless, All Might?" one of the students asked.

"That's correct," All Might confirmed. "Just like young Midoriya, I was quirkless before my master, Nana Shimura, bestowed One for All upon me. Whether it was sheer luck or a fortunate twist of fate, I've only just realized that being quirkless played a role in allowing me to live long enough to fulfill my dream of becoming the Symbol of Peace."

"Right. The information Yagi, who is still alive, got was told to us through his consciousness inside One For All. And then, after I heard what my brother had to say, I was certain," Yoichi said. "But then, why was Yagi's consciousness here even though he didn't have a Quirk factor?" he asked as the camera focused on All Might's vestige. "We always thought that the predecessors' consciousnesses lived inside One For All. More precisely, the consciousnesses of the 2nd through 7th wielders lived in the Quirk factor that was acquired by One For All. Yagi was the only exception. He was the only one who gained a consciousness through One For All."

'All Might made One for All his own quirk,' Izuku thought.

'That might be the case, or maybe the quirk resonated well with Toshi's body, ideals, and desire to become the symbol," Nana mused. 'For now, we cannot say anything for sure because One for All works in mysterious ways, even for us past holders.'

"The vessel holding the Quirk someone was born with couldn't fully accept One For All, and it overflowed and warped," Yoichi continued as we see an image of a partially filled glass overflowing as it was filled with more water than it could hold, eventually cracking. "Like how the fourth wielder's lifespan was shortened. Yagi was able to hold onto One For All for 40 years. Because his vessel was empty, One For All fit into it, and it became his true Quirk," Yoichi continued as we see imagery of six broken glasses, and in front of them, one glass was able to hold all the water without cracking. "Because of some twist of fate, this power that was passed from one person to another was able to have its true worth drawn out by someone who did not have any power."

"I see, so maybe being an empty vessel is what brought out the overwhelming power of One for All that All Might showcased during his time as a hero," Momo speculated. "And maybe that is the very reason why Izuku can bring out the true potential of the quirk by accessing the quirks of other One for All users. What do you think... Izuku..." She turned her head towards the green-haired boy and noticed that he was sitting there being awfully quiet, while frequently alternating his gaze between his scarred hand and the screen.

"In other words... now that the predecessors' Quirks are appearing, I can't pass it on to a normal person anymore," Izuku deduced, his gaze fixed on his hands. He then raised his head and looked at the previous wielders. "One For All can't be passed on anymore. That's what you're trying to say, right?"

"Not unless someone appears who is Quirkless, an endangered species in your generation, and needs power," Yoichi said. "It's not something we could've known at the time. It was fate that it ended up getting passed to you two. If we had been able to intervene more with the wielders, fewer people might've suffered.'

"In other words, kid, you might be the last wielder of One For All," Banjo concluded.

"Me... the last... wielder..." Izuku muttered, staring at his hand.

Momo's eyes widened as the reason behind Izuku's unusual behavior finally dawned on her. She realized that, for Izuku, the stakes had escalated beyond merely being All Might's successor or the Ninth wielder of One for All. Now, if he didn't stop All for One in this era, there might be no one capable of stopping that man in the future.

What made it worse for her was the fact that she had no idea how to help him in the situation. It's not like saying some words of encouragement will actually change the reality of the situation. Turning to her side, she saw similar expressions on All Might's face, who was glancing at his successor with worry, concern, and a slight hint of guilt in his eyes for burdening him with such responsibility.

Apart from the concern for Izuku that lingered among the audience, various other thoughts also swirled within their minds. Like...

'I guess, it is not possible to pass on One for All to someone without risking their life,' Jeanist thought to himself. 'Maybe someone will agree to take the quirk despite its drawbacks, but considering that the Fourth user only managed to touch age 40, despite the quirk not being in its prime. I wonder if the tenth user will only live about a year, considering how much strength the quirk has accumulated and the additional aspect of extra quirks added in the mix.'

'Well, Midoriya really lucked out by being quirkless, huh?' Monoma bitterly thought to himself. 'Honestly, it feels like everything is falling into place for the Golden boy to effortlessly claim the glory while the rest of us play second fiddle. How is that fair?' He clenched his fist. 'Not only did he get the primed-up quirk, but on top of that, he will be the only one who will be remembered as being closest to All Might in the history of their world. And while he is doing that, the rest of us will be forgotten because who is going to remember side characters like us?'

Bakugo, on the other hand, was calm on the surface, but inside, he grappled with a whirlwind of emotions. Initially, he may have felt a twinge of jealousy when Deku became All Might's successor, but he soon realized he couldn't dictate the old man's choices regarding his quirk. Bakugo had always been independent, content with his own quirk, and uninterested in relying on handouts. He knew that he didn't require a collection of low-tier quirks to divert his focus from mastering his own.

And despite that, there was this underlying sense of pride in the back of his mind that the only reason Deku was here was because he got lucky and got All Might's quirk. But now, based on the things they have learned, it looked like they got lucky that All Might's master picked quirkless All Might as her successor and All Might picked quirkless Deku to be his successor. And honestly, he didn't know how to feel about that... then he brushed his thoughts aside, thinking that he just needed more time to sort his thoughts out.

"This is where we get to the main issue..." Nana spoke for the first time since Izuku arrived, her voice very serious, and her eyes shrouded in shadows.

Izuku didn't know how was this possible but he sensed an abrupt shift in the atmosphere within the vestige realm, and it grew increasingly tense.

"Izuku..." she fixed her gaze firmly on Izuku, "Can you kill Tomura Shigaraki?" she asked as Izuku widened his eyes.

In the audience, Izuku and many others had a similar reaction, echoing on-screen Izuku's surprise upon hearing Nana's words.

"Master, what are you..." All Might said, looking at the screen with disbelief written all over his face. Never in a million years would he have thought that his Master, the kind and gentle woman he knew once, would ask his successor something like this.

Gran Torino, on the other hand, kept calm and quiet as he observed his best friend on the screen. At this very moment, he was the only one who saw how much that woman was suffering behind the tough persona she had donned to ask that specific question to that kid.

However, some in the audience were more interested in Izuku's response to the question. Their disagreement with his earlier stance on saving Shigaraki had piqued their curiosity about how he would address Nana's query.

"I'm not asking you to do it. It's a matter of resolve," Nana clarified as she rose from her seat and advanced toward Izuku. "When you saw that boy's face, you thought, 'He looks like he's asking for help,' didn't you? We respond to your emotions, so we end up knowing that part, too," she explained, standing directly in front of him.

'Nana, where are you going with this?' Izuku questioned the seventh wielder within his mind. 'And why are you asking me this when your words seem to be causing you more pain?'

'Izuku... much like you, we can't be entirely certain of our counterparts' motives, but... I believe I have an idea of where this is heading, so please, so just be patient... please...' Nana responded, her emotionless voice instilling a sense of unease in Izuku's mind.

"The problem is that we didn't see it that way," Banjo chimed in, his tone devoid of its usual playfulness. "We got that he's suffering from being invaded by All For One. But it didn't look like he was asking for help at all. Even under those conditions, those eyes didn't hold anything but hate."

"Because that's how he was raised by All For One," Yoichi added. "With his body restrained, my brother probably wanted to take over his physical body and his mind. So that he could get One For All."

"Well at least someone is sensible in there," Aizawa muttered under his breath. He of course didn't like the idea of some ghost inside the quirk asking his student to kill someone but also thought that Midoriya needed to give up on his idealistic worldview of saving villains and start focusing on his job of apprehending them and move on. He understands that Midoriya's goal of saving villains is noble and all but he doesn't think that kid understands that there is only so much mental bandwidth one can spare on the world around them and the villains should be on the bottom of that priority list.

"Me and my junior, En," Banjo began, pointing to the sixth user, "All For One has tried to steal One For All twice so far and failed both times. In order to make One For All surrender, there needs to be strong feelings... strong emotion that surpasses One For All. Feelings that can't be borne by one person alone. He's probably trying to use Shigaraki's strong hatred. One For All. Its origin is a strong will that refuses to yield to All For One."

"Man, what an asshole," Setsuna said, referring to All for One. "Imagine raising and grooming a child just to use them for something like this and to take over their body."

"I mean, what do we even expect from a man like All for One who left his comrades behind," Jiro remarked with a frown. "Be glad that it was not one of us who got roped into any evil scheme of his," she continued, and her comment made a certain blonde-haired boy flinch and hunch lower in his seat, hoping to avoid drawing any attention to himself, much like he had been doing all along.

"The assumption is that One For All is meant to destroy All For One," Yoichi added. "It looked like Yagi had accomplished this. But my brother is tenacious, and he is trying to make a comeback."

'But One for All is more than that...' Izuku contemplated in his thoughts. 'All Might transformed it into something greater, something more than just a weapon to wield against All for One...'

"Izuku, I don't think it's fair to ask you after telling you that you can't run," Nana expressed, her gaze directed downward, shadows concealing her eyes "In order to fight All For One, I left my son... And this is the result."

'Nana... you never stopped blaming yourself, did you,' Gran Torino reflected, lowering his head to avoid witnessing the anguish in his dearest friend's eyes. However, he promptly raised his head, knowing that even if he couldn't do anything for Nana, he could definitely do a lot for that idiot successor of hers and the kid of his.

"I know that it's disgraceful for adults who keep failing to make a 16-year-old settle their score for them..." Nana continued, her eyes reflecting a multitude of emotions.

'She is not wrong...' adults in the room thought as her words felt like someone just jabbed them in the heart, especially after seeing how much these kids had pushed themselves during and after the war.

"But once he turns completely into an evil monster, no one will be able to stop him," she said as an image of Shigaraki emerging from a cocoon with butterfly wings on his back, displayed on the screen.

"Well, Ms. Nana definitely has a strong imagination," Nemuri said as she and many others felt chills down their spine as they saw the depiction of Shigaraki becoming the personification of the evil on the screen.

"There's no way to forgive or understand him anymore. There are people who are irredeemable," Nana declared, placing both her hands on Izuku's shoulders. "If someone who looks like he's asking to be saved is someone who is irredeemable, do you... have the resolve to stop him, even if you have to kill him?" Her question hung heavily in the air as all eight holders focused their attention squarely on Izuku.

The silence spread across the room as everyone eagerly waited to hear Izuku's answer. Some even glanced at Izuku and saw him clearly contemplating various answers in his head. But that's what anyone looking at him from the outside would think because, at this very moment, Izuku was busy debating with himself.

Inside his mind, however, Izuku kept revisiting Nana's words, 'There are people who are irredeemable. What if someone who looks like he's asking to be saved is someone who is irredeemable?' in a loop, repeating them over and over.

When talking about irredeemable, the face that came to his mind was that of Overhaul. After learning about the horrific suffering he had inflicted upon Eri, Izuku found it impossible to summon even a shred of sympathy for someone like Overhaul.

On the other hand, he found Muscular to be interesting... of course, he could never forgive Muscular for taking the lives of Kota's parents and targeting the young boy himself, but still, if given a chance, he would like to know what pushes someone to become a monster like him who only craves blood and violence without a purpose.

And that's why, he couldn't help but question himself. Why did he harbor such disparate opinions about two individuals who could be categorized as villains, both of whom had inflicted harm upon children who were like siblings to him?

And he believed he had the answer. Overhaul's actions had not only harmed Eri on a deeply unethical level, which still makes his blood boil, but he had also inflicted harm on a considerably larger number of people who were close to him. In contrast, Muscular had taken the lives of Kota's parents, which was undeniably a grave atrocity. However, because Izuku had no personal connection with them, it may have lessened the emotional impact of those crimes on him.

It pained him to admit it, but this realization did make him seem selfish and biased. Nevertheless, he couldn't control these emotions because, ultimately, he was human, and it was only natural to feel a stronger aversion toward the individual who had caused harm to his loved ones.

But where did Shigaraki fit into these distinctions? He had personally witnessed the atrocities Shigaraki committed against both people unrelated to him and those he cared deeply for. So why did his counterpart feel compelled to complicate things and consider saving someone like Shigaraki? Once again, the answer lay in the difference of experience... the personal encounters that his counterpart had inside One for All, an experience he himself lacked, having only observed from the outside like anyone else.

As for the vestiges, they were not only stunned by his self-reflection, which they found quite informative but what shocked them more was the rapidity with which this kid could articulate his thoughts.

After a brief silence, Izuku began to speak. "To me... he looked like he was in trouble. No, that's what it felt like," he said. "When Shigaraki's consciousness penetrated One For All, and when Shigaraki felt strongly about his dream. In the depths of that hatred, I could sense a child crying," he said as he imagined little Tenko crying deep inside Shigaraki's consciousness. Meanwhile, Nana, who was standing in front of him, started breaking down as she could barely hold back her tears.

A smile graced Yoichi's face as he witnessed Nana's bewildered expression, tears brimming at the corners of her eyes. He wasn't alone in this sentiment. Apart from Nana, who was emotionally overwhelmed, and Second, who rolled his eyes, there were smiles on the faces of everyone present. Even Third, who attempted to appear indifferent towards Izuku's answer, couldn't help but let his lips curl into a faint smile.

Outside of the vestige realm people had various reactions to Izuku's answer.

Some, like All Might and Izuku's closest friends, wore smiles, having anticipated an answer of this nature. Not necessarily the most practical or logical response, but one that had the power to stir emotions in the listeners. Among them, Gran Torino, who shared this expectation, couldn't help but mutter, "This kid..." under his breath, a fond smile forming on his face, for he knew that his friend must have been hoping to hear a response like this.

Others, like Monoma and Kamakiri, groaned in disagreement with Midoriya's sentiments, considering him an idealistic fool who couldn't recognize a spade for a spade. Surprisingly, Bakugo wasn't among them. Instead, Bakugo was focusing on the screen, trying to understand what Izuku was trying to say here.

Some like Kendo and Shishida were indifferent towards Izuku's answer. Even though they did find his answer commendable, they also knew that they had no business in this entire Shigaraki conflict, so decided that not adding their two cents here was a sensible option.

'So that's why...' Izuku thought, beginning to comprehend the reasoning behind his counterpart's willingness to consider the idea of saving Shigaraki.

"I've fought a lot of people up until now. They did not break. I had to fight them in order to stop them," Izuku continued, as he remembered various villains he had confronted in the past year, such as Muscular, Overhaul, and Stain.

'Damn! This kid has quite the impressive track record for a first-year student,' Mirko said, clearly sounding impressed by Izuku's ability to survive encounters with these crazy and strong villains.

"But I didn't know why they ended up like that. If I had known, maybe things would've been different," he mused, recalling his encounters with Gentle Criminal and La Brava.

"Honestly, I don't see what you could have done differently, 'ribbit'," Tus said. "They made a choice to become a villain, and heroes stop villains from making people's lives difficult. What exactly can you change in this process without going against the law, becoming a villain for that."

"Yeah, Tsu, perhaps you're right," Izuku acknowledged. "I don't believe I can prevent people like Muscular from becoming what they are. But with enough influence and some effort, maybe I can help someone like Gentle and La Brava from slipping through the cracks."

Tsu nodded, but she remained partially unconvinced by Izuku's response. She held the view that it wasn't the sole responsibility of heroes to address all the world's problems.

"Maybe I still would've had to fight," Izuku pressed on, clenching his fist as he recalled the atrocities Shigaraki committed during the war. "He killed a lot of people and hurt people I love. But..."

"This 'but' is a perilous one for your safety and the well-being of your allies," Jeanist remarked, casting a meaningful look at Izuku. "Your ideals are admirable but undeniably naïve. In my estimation, I can confidently say that Shigaraki poses a threat on par with, if not greater than, All for One. Hesitating when confronting him could very well spell certain doom."

Izuku envisioned his four-year-old self approaching the weeping Tenko he had seen within Shigaraki's consciousness. "One For All isn't a power meant to kill. It's a power meant to save. That's what I learned from All Might."

All Might beamed at his successor's words, his eyes misting with tears. In a strange and profound way, Izuku's sentiments brought him a deep sense of fulfillment, as if they affirmed that he had achieved far more than merely safeguarding the nation's peace.

"It's not just me. I think the power cultivated by all of you and All Might has encouraged countless people over the years," Izuku said as he remembered All Might inspiring him, his friends, and countless people all over the globe. Another notable thing was that the smoke covering his body was starting to vanish.

Everyone, including pros, couldn't help but agree with Izuku that All Might, in some way or form, has inspired them. And they don't doubt that there must be countless more who share this sentiment with them, having been inspired by him at some point in their lives.

"Even if the origin is a power meant to destroy after you all risked your lives and added to it, it's come to have another meaning," Izuku continued. "It might be that the only way to stop him is to kill him. I don't know what I should do specifically yet, but..." For a fleeting moment, Izuku transformed into his four-year-old self as he declared, "I want to save that kid."

"Of course, leave it to the nerd to say something like that," Bakugo scoffed but still had a small smile on his face. Right now he felt stupid for even questioning Deku's thoughts when he said that he wanted to save Shigaraki. Because more than anyone, he should've known how persistent Deku was. He had first-hand experience with his persistence when the nerd kept pitter-pattering behind him even when he told him not to come after him.

"Yeah, that's great and all, Golden Boy, but what if Shigaraki doesn't want to be saved?" Monoma challenged.

"Then I'll have to save Tenko instead," Izuku replied nonchalantly.

"That doesn't make any sense!" Monoma protested.

"I know," Izuku chuckled, returning his attention to the conversation within his mind, where he was comforting the overwhelmed Nana.

A smile appeared on Yoichi's face as he said, "Yeah. This is why we'll follow you," He rose from his seat and gently rested a hand on All Might's vestige's shoulder. "I'm really glad One For All was passed on to you two."

A subconscious smile graced the faces of All Might and Izuku, knowing that the first user had given his approval, accepting them as bearers of his quirk and as inheritors of his legacy.

Yoichi then approached Nana and offered her a reassuring touch on her shoulder as she began to speak, her voice heavy with emotion. "Sorry... for testing you."

'Izuku, just as my counterpart said, I am too sor-'

'It's okay, Nana, I understand,' Izuku interjected, striving to convey as much warmth as possible. 'Honestly, it takes a lot of courage to express the sentiments your counterpart did about Shigaraki, given your history with him. So please stop blaming yourself and let's move forward together.'

Nana nodded and smiled at him, her expression shifting back to her previous cheerful demeanor. 'That was well said, but you won't go anywhere if you keep flattering an old woman like me,' she teased.

'You're not that old, Nana,' Izuku retorted with a chuckle.

"Gran Torino is alive. When you wake up, tell him I said hi," Nana said, tears streaming down her cheeks, thinking, 'Sorahiko... We made a mistake in our decision. But, we were blessed in our students.'

Gran Torino didn't say anything. He just smiled with teary eyes and shook his head fondly, seeing how his friend was still the same kind-hearted idiot even in the afterlife.

Yoichi then turned around and said, "You two better start helping soon, too. We need your cooperation to fully unleash the power of One For All," addressing the two individuals who were staring at the wall instead of participating in the conversation. These two individuals were none other than the second and third users of One For All.

"So... what's their deal?" Nejire asked upon seeing the second and third wielders of One for All. "Are they anti-social loners or something?"

"Yeah, they kinda do remind me of Tamaki at social gatherings," Mirio chimed in. Tamaki, sandwiched between them, simply lowered his head, not wishing to draw any attention to himself.

Meanwhile, Izuku stifled his laughter as Banjo continued to poke fun at Second and Third in response to Mirio and Nejire's remarks.

"We're counting on you, my heroes," he said as he walked towards the two of them but frowned when he received no response from either of them.

"First Banjo released his power, and then Shinomori and Shimura, and En also agreed... to fully unleash the power of ninth," Yoichi once again tried to convince the second and third users, but once again, both of them didn't respond.

'You two really don't like me, do you,' Izuku asked in a disheartened voice as he slumped in his seat.

'No, we don't have any reason to not like you, kid; we just don't agree with your naive mindset and your desire to save Shigaraki," Second explained in a calm voice. 'We understand where you are coming from, and we understand Nana's feelings too, but when you have lived through the things we have, it's really hard to get over how silly and stupid your viewpoint sounds.'

'As Leader said, don't take it personally, kid,' Third added. 'As you grow older, you'll come to understand what we mean.'

Meanwhile, outside the vestige realm...

"Is it just me, or does the Second wielder look kinda like Bakugo...?" Kaminari mused aloud, and the students around him began to scrutinize the resemblance, realizing he had a point.

"Maybe Bakugo time-traveled and became the second-"

"Cut it out, Half-and-Half... just cut it out," Bakugo snapped, abruptly shutting down Todoroki's wild theories.

Banjo got annoyed by their attitude and decided to address Izuku instead. "Kid!" Banjo yelled, startling Izuku.

'Banjo, do you always have to be this loud and obnoxious,' Second groaned at the bald man.

'Of course, I do, oldy,' Banjo replied with a smile, taking pleasure in Second's misery.

"Use this time to get used to the other Quirks! Especially Shinimori's and En's!" He walked over to Izuku, draping his arm around the young hero's shoulder. "That way, you can imagine using them smoothly when you wake up!" Hikage and En expressed their agreement, while Yoichi couldn't help but smile at their interaction.

'Not a bad idea! We can definitely use this method to prepare Ninth for the time when he inevitably develops our quirks,' Hikage said, agreeing with Banjo's counterpart.

'I don't think it will be that difficult, though,' En shrugged in his typical nonchalant manner. 'Smokescreen and Danger Sense should be relatively straightforward to learn compared to the body-breaking stockpile power or Float, which requires careful maneuvering and balance in the air. The real problem will be the quirks of those two...' En said, pointing at Second and Third. 'Izuku might actually die if we are not careful with their quirks.'

'What!?' Izuku's face went pale as he exclaimed in his mind.

'Calm down, Izuku. En is just having fun at your expense,' Nana said, as she glared at En while trying to calm Izuku. 'Even if he doesn't talk much, he is sadistic like that,' she said, while Izuku gaped at En with shock and disbelief in his eyes.

'Sorry, kid, I was just pulling your leg there,' En said in an amused voice. 'But jokes aside, their quirks are dangerous and will require you to understand them properly. For instance, without proper training, Third's quirk could give you serious concussions, and Second's quirk could immobilize you long enough for someone to kill you.'

"We lived during the cruelest era," suddenly, the Third began to speak, catching Yoichi's attention. "During the height of All for One's physical prowess when he single-mindedly spread his control. Those under his control were unaware that they were being controlled," the Third stated, casting a brief glance at the Second. "Our leader was worried about the future, and in order to get over All for One's control led a group to fight him."

"You were there, too, so you should have seen it," the Second said, addressing Yoichi, who nodded at his words. "In order to get at your brother, we had to use many lives as stepping stones. At the end of our fight, all that mattered was winning or losing, living or dying."

Everyone listened intently to the words of Second and Third with great fascination. For some, it was a captivating opportunity to gain insights from individuals who had experienced the most tumultuous era in the history of the quirk-filled world. Others were simply intrigued by the historical aspect of the entire conversation.

'I know it's insensitive, but how bad was it?' Izuku asked in a hesitant voice, unable to suppress his curiosity even though he was aware he shouldn't push his luck with Second.

'It was bad... very bad. You know, I was sixteen when I first took someone's life,' Second replied in a somber voice, holding the attention of Izuku and the other vestiges. 'It was to save my sister. She was also part of the resistance movement. She was always so full of energy and life, even in the most dire times. She was the heart of our group. But then, one day, during a raid on one of All for One's warehouses, she got blindsided and was about to be attacked, so I did what any good brother should do - I stabbed her assailant in the neck to save her life.'

'But, like I said, those were brutal times. Just two days later, she died during a different raid, one that I wasn't part of... and she was far away from me... I never even got to see her body... she just became one of those nameless sacrifices in the annals of history,' By now, Yoichi and Third were both at Second's side, with one hand on each of his shoulders. 'I never had a chance to mourn or come to terms with her death, because the very next day, we learned about All for One's hidden lair, where I found Yoichi. From then on, the rest of my life was spent running and hiding from All for One, who was searching for his brother like a madman.'

'I'm sorry for asking something like this,' Izuku apologized in a low voice, feeling terrible that his curiosity had caused someone to relive such painful memories.

'Don't worry, kid; it's not your fault. In fact, I'm sure she would have loved to tease you,' Second said with a ghost of a smile on his face, as his sister's face flashed before his eyes. 'You know, maybe that's why I didn't like the idea of either you or Yagi receiving One for All when you guys did. Maybe I just don't want any other teenager to lose their life before knowing what it's truly like to live.'

"Are we now supposed to leave it to some crazy illusionist who says he wants to save our archenemy?" Second asked.

Normally, Izuku would have felt disheartened upon hearing Second question his motives and not approve of him, but after what he had just heard, he could understand where Second was coming from.

"A crazy illusionist... that's sad..." Yoichi remarked, a subtle smile gracing his lips. "Then why on that day..." His mind drifted back to the past, to a scene where he sat in a dim, desolate room. Suddenly, the door was forcefully kicked open by the Second and Third users, who entered with determination. Yoichi turned to face the man who had just kicked down the door, a weapon pointed at him. They locked eyes for a moment before the Second lowered his weapon and extended a hand. Returning to the present, Yoichi pondered, "That day... why did you reach your hand out to me? If you hadn't taken me out of that room, nothing would have begun."

"So that's how One for All started," All Might said, feeling fascinated upon learning the true origin of the quirk. "Because the Second user decided to help All for One's brother instead of just killing him."

"But it could have easily backfired if this First user was just like his brother or worse," Aizawa remarked in a dry voice.

"So, are you saying that he should have just left him there just because he was All for One's brother?" Hawks said with a hint of rage in his voice. "Are you perhaps one of those people who think that people with the same blood cannot change?"

"You're putting words in my mouth," Aizawa groaned. "All I'm saying is that he should have been more cautious when rescuing someone from the villain's lair, especially the said villain's brother."

"What you're saying might be true, Aizawa, but sometimes you have to listen to your heart," All Might chimed in. "And because the Second user listened to his heart, this power, One for All, was born," he said while Aizawa rolled his eyes.

"In the first place, we have no choice but to leave it to him, You've realized this. That's why you've appeared here, isn't it?" Yoichi inquired.

"Do you really think it'll all end with that boy?" the Second asked

"Yes," Yoichi affirmed. "The origin of One for All was my desire to not yield to my brother. But because you reached your hand out to me back then, One for All began," finally, Yoichi's words managed to move the Second and Third's hearts as both of them turned around, finally agreeing to support Izuku.

Yoichi, Nana, and everyone thank you for putting your trust in me. I promise you that no matter what happens in the future, I will do my best to master this and all of your powers and make them my own,' Izuku announced in a determined voice, raising the spirits of the vestige as well.

'We still haven't approved of you getting our quirks yet,' Second retorted in an annoyed voice.

'Don't worry, you will," Izuku replied with a confident smile.

The next scene opened with Izuku sitting in his hospital bed, fully awake. The casts that had once confined his hands and legs were now being removed. In the room with him were three more individuals. His mother, Inko, sat beside him, while the doctor and All Might stood on either side of his bed.

Momo breathed a sigh of relief as she observed Izuku awake and seemingly unharmed. "It seems you're all right," she said with a sense of relief. Her gaze shifted to his arms, which appeared relatively unscathed. "And it looks like your hands have survived as well."

"Apparently you had serious injuries in the past and faced the possibility of not being able to use your arms anymore, but it's fortunate that these injuries are different," the doctor explained, holding Izuku's medical report in his hands. "Unlike the previous injuries that seemed to explode from within, this time explosions seemed to escape outside your body," he said as Izuku remembered his fight against Muscular, during which he had pushed his power to its limits and beyond.

"Ok, that's it!" Rumi exclaimed and pointed at Izuku. "Just tell us what the hell happened during your fight with Muscular!" she demanded an explanation before curiosity could kill her.

"I mean there isn't anything to explain," Izuku began in a casual tone. "Muscular was going to kill Kota, so I tried to defend him, but Muscular turned out to be much stronger than anything I had faced before. I had to use my 100% Smash on him, which he tanked."

"Wait! The same attack that destroyed the zero pointer?" Ochako asked with wide eyes.

"Maybe. I can't keep track of how much power my 100% smashes use," Izuku shrugged. "Anyway, as I was saying, since Muscular tanked my 100% attack, I had to go Plus Ultra and beyond to defeat him, but it totally wrecked my hands in the process," he said with an oddly proud smile on his face.

"You know what, kid, you are crazy," Rumi said as she couldn't help but grin broadly at him. "And guess what, I like crazy!"

Meanwhile, Aizawa and Ryukyu groaned in horror at just the thought of Izuku running around the country with Rumi's attitude.

"On top of that, your quirk seemed to be able to reinforce your body from the inside out, so nothing was shattered this time. Even with the same injury, it seems your body was different this time," the doctor continued as Izuku marveled at how his body had become much more resilient, thanks to his improved control over One For All. "Nonetheless, your condition is worsening, so you should still be careful," the doctor cautioned before concluding his report and leaving the room, leaving Izuku, Inko, and All Might behind.

"It seems my body is beginning to adapt to One for All, much like All Might did," Izuku commented as he examined his hands. "That's a good sign; it means I can tap into higher percentages in the future."

"Izuku, the doctor also said that your condition is worsening," Momo pointed out with a stern expression, while Izuku averted his eyes with a strained smile on his face.

After a brief, uncomfortable silence, Inko fixed her gaze on All Might and requested, "Will you please explain?"

All Might hesitated for a moment, casting a glance at Izuku that seemed to ask, 'Are you sure, young man?' In response, Izuku nodded in affirmation. With a sigh, All Might began to reveal the truth about One For All to Inko.

Suddenly, Izuku and All Might both tensed, wondering how Inko would react to this whole situation. What worried them even more was the fact that she had strongly opposed sending Izuku back to U.A. after the summer camp attack, but this time the situation was ten times worse than that.

"That power..." Inko started, gripping her son's hand tightly. "He was able to maintain it because he was quirkless... but now Izuku's being targeted by bad people..." worry and fear began to etch across Inko's face with each word she uttered, "What will happen to him?"

"We are making preparations to protect him," All Might assured her. "If he is at U.A-"

"I am not going back to U.A.," Izuku interjected, in a calm voice. His declaration made All Might turn his head toward him, and Inko stared at him with wide, teary eyes.

"What!?" came the unanimous shout of disbelief, echoing in the auditorium. All eyes turned towards Izuku, who decided to ignore them for now and listen to his counterpart.

"Shigaraki can figure out where I am. It wouldn't be strange if he were coming after me right now," Izuku explained, his mind filled with the faces of those who had suffered during the war. "I don't want anyone to get hurt anymore. If they are completely healed, it'll be even worse than it is now. Before that happens, I need to stop Shigaraki and All for One."

"Midoriya," Aizawa let out a weary sigh, his sympathy growing for his counterpart in that alternate timeline.

"Deku, what are you talking about? You don't need to do this alone," Ochako said in a worried voice.

"Indeed, Midoriya, in times like this, you can surely trust U.A. to keep you safe," Nezu said, feeling a little offended that one of his students didn't trust his institution to keep them safe.

"I know, and I understand what you are saying, but try to think about it from my counterpart's perspective," Izuku explained. "Just a few days ago, my counterpart saw Shigaraki, the man who is after him and his quirk, singlehandedly decimate an entire city, causing harm to people close to him, and nearly taking their lives while he was powerless to stop him," he clenched his fist. "I'm certain that, placed in his shoes, I would have made the same decision."

"And you think we are too weak to help you, huh?" Bakugo asked while glaring at him.

"No, you are not weak, Kacchan, but Shigaraki and All for One are too strong," Izuku shook his head. "I am also pretty sure that All for One must have recruited some criminals from prisons to do his bidding. And I could never forgive myself if anyone were to get hurt or, even worse, lose their lives because these villains were after me."

"But this happened because you couldn't beat him...!" Inko tried to reason, her eyes welling up with tears.

"I'll get stronger," Izuku asserted.

"I said I felt relieved, but I don't like it," Inko confessed, tears streaming down her cheeks as she tightly clutched Izuku's hand. "After hearing this, I don't like it."

Izuku felt his heart clench as he saw his mother crying and worrying because of him. He knew how much she had endured and sacrificed while raising him, so worrying her more was the last thing he ever wanted to do.

Izuku returned the tight grip of Inko's hand and glanced at her with a warm affectionate smile. "You smiled, saying, 'Thanks.' That made me so happy," he reminisced, prompting Inko to recall the moments when they played Heroes together. Young Izuku would don his All Might costume and come to her rescue, and she would thank him in return.

"Aww! My heart!" Mina exclaimed dramatically, placing her hand over her chest for effect.

Meanwhile, Izuku ducked his head, feeling slightly embarrassed upon hearing All Might chuckling over his little All Might costume while Momo cooed over how adorable he looked in it.

"That's why... that's why I am going," he explained while embracing his tearful mother. "Don't worry, I'll definitely come back."

'I hope he does... I really do...' Izuku thought, praying for his counterpart to come back alive because he understands how cruel it would be for a mother to attend her son's funeral.

All Might, who was watching this touching scene, remembered the promise he had made to Inko, 'Will you let me put all my hopes on Young Midoriya? I will protect him and raise him up, even if I had to give my life to do so!'

'I see... so that's why,' Aizawa thought, as he realized why All Might wanted to visit Midoriya's house alone. But now, knowing the truth, he wished he had forced himself into the meeting anyway.

"Even if I tried to stop you are going to go right?" All Might uttered, tears now streaming down his own cheeks. "Then even if you don't want me to, I shall go with you too!"

"Yagi..." Aizawa glared at All Might. "You should convince him to stay at the school instead of joining him in his stupid crusade."

"Aizawa, you do not understand. If my counterpart had tried to force Izuku to stay at the school, it would have only resulted in the young man running off on his own," All Might explained. "Instead, my counterpart made the right choice by choosing to go with him. That way I can keep an eye on him while acting as a backup if he needs."

"You, acting as a backup?" Aizawa asked skeptically while glancing at All Might's frail body.

"Don't worry, Aizawa. The day I hung up my cape, I tailored a nice suit for myself," All Might said with a cheeky smile, which confused Aizawa even more.

The scene changed, and we see Izuku in a different hospital room, standing next to Gran Torino's bed.

"Well, good to see that you're still kicking, old man," Hawks said while smirking at Gran Torino.

"Of course, I am," Gran Torino scoffed. "People of my generation are built differently, unlike you zygotes."

The elderly hero remained in critical condition but wore a calm smile on his face. "I understand now... about Shimura," Gran Torino remarked. "Even though she died, she was still crying huh?" his thoughts drifted to his old friend.

Yeah, he did tell me I have to stop crying if I want people to be reassured by my smile,' Nana said with a nostalgic smile, reminiscing about her high school days with Gran. 'But it seems that all of us One for All holders are just crybabies at heart,' she said with a small chuckle escaping her lips.

"I should've been the one to kill him. Sorry 'bout that," he said, directing his gaze toward Izuku. "Don't be too stubborn. There are times when you need to kill someone to save them. Don't forget that," he advised as he handed Izuku his own cape. "No matter what you decide to do... go settle things with League of Villains."

Izuku and Gran Torino shared a look as Izuku nodded at the older hero, indicating that he understood what he was trying to say.

'Nana, your friend is a wise man,' Second said upon hearing Gran Torino's advice to Izuku.

'Yeah, between the two of us, he was always the sensible one,' Nana replied. 'But don't let that fool you. He can be equally as silly as well.'

Izuku donned Gran Torino's cape and left the hospital, where a few individuals awaited him. 'Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist and All Might. We're teaming up... in order to keep there from being more victims...' narrator Izuku said.

"Hey, look at this; it seems we're assisting him too," Hawks pointed out, observing himself on the screen.

"I would say that it's more likely that he is helping us to lure out All for One and his associates," Jeanist speculated. "Given the circumstances of that timeline, that might be the best option we have."

"But is it really all right to leave Midoriya in the middle of that," Yu said, referring to the lawless land that Japan had become after the prison break. "He is only sixteen, you know."

"We are not forcing Midoriya to do anything he doesn't want to do," Endeavor clarified. "Besides, he was going to hunt down All for One on his own anyway, so having three of us to support him is only going to help him."

'But before I left there was one more thing I needed to do...'

The scene transitioned to Class 1-A's dormitory, with Mineta sprinting down the hallway, clutching a piece of paper in his hand. "Hey, this is bad! There was a letter from Midoriya on my door!" he yelled as he arrived in the living room where he found his classmates holding similar letters in their hands and discussing the contents of it.

"Really, Deku! A letter! You were going to leave us hanging in the dorms with a simple letter," Ochako exclaimed, pointing an accusatory finger at Izuku.

"To be fair, you guys wouldn't have let me leave if I had told you this in person," Izuku replied.

"You think," Jiro rolled her eyes.

"Fair, but still a jerk move," Ochako said while sticking out her tongue at Izuku.

Outside the dormitories, Momo sat on a bench, quietly reading Izuku's letter, her expression reflecting a mixture of emotions.

[Dear Momo,

Thanks for everything until now.

I thought I needed to tell everyone in Class A my secret, so I'm writing letters to leave behind for you all. My power is a special power that I received from All Might, and Shigaraki and All For One are coming after me. At this rate, I'll get you all caught up in this, so I'm going to leave U.A. High.

Being able to get into the hero course and meet everyone in Class A really made me happy.

Thank you. Goodbye.

-Izuku Midoriya ]

Momo clenched her teeth tightly while reading the letter, and after finishing it, she pressed the paper against her forehead, whispering, "Fool," to herself. A concerned and anxious expression settled on her face as she processed the contents of the letter.

"I see, so just a letter for me as well, huh..." Momo said with a smile that didn't reach her eyes at all. Instead, it sent a chill down his spine and made his body shudder worse than when Shigaraki had touched his face.

'Hey, Nana, did I do something wrong?' Izuku asked Nana.

'Kid...' Nana said, shaking her head with an exasperated smile. 'You are really one of the smartest and most idiotic people I have ever seen.'

Then the screen turned black for a moment before the text, 'In April, Deku left hero academia,' appeared on the screen. Following this, the text 'One month later' appeared, and as the screen brightened, it revealed Izuku standing atop a building, gazing at the devastated city below. His hero costume was dirty and tattered in many places and looking closely you could even see the blood stains in there as well. While his eyes had huge dark circles under them and lacked their usual shine.

"Wow... that looks bad," Rumi said, feeling a weird itch in her leg. Just the sight of the destroyed city was making her blood rush, wanting to go out and beat up some villains. Not to mention the look in Izuku's eyes clearly indicated the bleakness of the situation.

"Hey, is it only me, or does Midoriya look like he hasn't caught enough rest in a while," Kaminari said, observing Izuku on the screen.

"Of course, he hasn't slept well. Do you know why? Because Deninm Head and others must have left Deku and All Might on their own," Bakugo ranted while clicking his tongue. "You guys don't get it. Leaving Deku and All Might unsupervised is going to end badly for Deku because both of them don't know what limits are."

A sudden rumble and a deafening crash filled the air, causing Izuku to mutter wearily "A huge villain..." in a tired voice and put on his mask as the screen turned black.

The End.

"So... I suppose that's the end of it," Izuku mused as everyone around him slowly digested the fact that the thing they were watching had finally come to an end. Looking outside the window, you could see the dark sky and the moon hanging up in the sky.

Following this, Nezu proposed that the Pros spend the night at the school, ensuring an early start for their meeting the next morning to discuss all they had witnessed during the viewing.

With that in mind, everyone retreated to their respective rooms, including Izuku. As soon as he sank onto the bed, darkness enveloped his vision, and he found himself within the vestige realm, surrounded by the spirits of previous One for All holders.

"Hello, Izuku," Yoichi greeted him with a warm smile and gestured to the empty throne adjacent to All Might's vestige. "Take a seat; we have a few matters to discuss."
