Lisa creates a time machine but Lana presses the button and now Lincoln Lana and Lisa loud along with Lincolns best friend liam Honeycutt are stuck back in 1863 the height of the American civil war and have to survive other history events to get back to there time. so what do you they do you have too find out

3. The grizzly bear

(unknown place in the Idaho Montana territory July 1, 1865)

"elder brother do you need help building the cabin?" Lisa said to Lincoln as he's hammering in nails on the top of the cabin and he replies "no tab is Lisa ill probably get this all done by the end of the month and how about you feed the animals and take care of the animals while liam and Lana are hunting." she nods and goes over to the garden and start weeding and after a few months she sees liam and Lana in the distance carrying a big buck they shot with Benny treating behind them. She shouts to Lincoln "their back!" and Lincoln gets down and they both walk to them and Lincoln says "wow he's a beauty.".liam replies "yea he is we were lucky enough to find him."

"Alright Lana and lisa drag him over to the fire place and skin him. Take some meat out and cook it on the fire and put the rest of it in the underground seller so it doesn't so bad." Lincoln commands them to do and they drag it open and does just that. Lincoln and liam walk over to the animal pens and liam counts the goats and sheep and then notices a few missing and turns to Lincoln and says "bud there's one missing and I dont think it was Benny because even though he's a coyote I never seen him eat any meat just plants and berries." Before Lincoln can respond to that they hear Benny growl and look towards the woods and they see a blood trail.

Lincoln then calls out to the girls and says "Lana! lisa! we are going out got a bit be careful by yourselves!" Then he and liam grab two shot guns each a lot of ammunition and walkout into the woods with Benny and they fallow the trail for a mile till they were Abel to find the tracks of what animal it was. "looks like its a giant grizzly bear and I mean big." Lincoln points out. They then see a clearing out past the trees and when they get to it liam gasped and Lincoln says "oh s*t." Out in the clearing was all signs of bear, a bear bed, lots and lots of bear tracks and in the corner was piles down of sheep, goats, dear and other animals half eating some not even touched. The boys Sat in silence for a few minutes processing everything they saw and after five minutes liam say " This thing is a monster and its only a mile from the cabin and its probably always watching us and trying to find a way to strike." "yea we should ki-." Before Lincoln could finish his sentence Benny's starts growling really loud and his hair sticks up so Lincoln and Liam quickly pulls out there guns and points it out at the clearing but what they don't know is the real danger is behind them.

They heard a deep growling behind them but before they could turn around a giant male grizzly bear 12 feet tall if it stood on its hind legs and 2000 pounds sprang out of the bushes and jumps on Lincoln bringing him to the ground but Lincoln quickly put one hand on one side of the gun and the other hand on the other side held the gun in its mouth trying not the bear bite down on him and maul him to death. Liam was to in shock to move for a few seconds so Benny jumped on the bears back and bit into his back and the bear roars in fury and its claw slices Lincoln's arm a it deep and he hisses in pain but Still doesn't stop doing what he was doing. "LIAM DO SOMETHING!" Lincoln yells and Liam then stabs the bear in the back and three times in the back with his knife because he didn't want to shoot the bear and accidentally shooting Lincoln as well. The bear gets up and turns around quickly and throws Benny into a tree and he blacks out from the impact and Liam shoots the bear in the shoulder but it doesn't do anything except make the bear more pissed off. The bear swipes his paw at Liam and it hits the gun which liam loses and flies through the air a few feet and now liam is totally defenseless because he dropped his knife and he was being backed up into a tree and had no way out.

During all this Lincoln was slowly getting up and saw Benny being thrown into the tree and Liam's gun go flying. He then remembered his own injury and looked at it. It was bleeding not that bad but the wound was big and he quickly rapped it up in a bandage he had with him, got his gun and he slowly started creeping up on the bear. At this point liam could feel the bears breath on his neck and he could smell the bears breath and he thought in his head 'wow this bear needs a breath mint also I hope it will be a quick end.' He started crying thinking his last thoughts and he closes his eyes until... BANG BAN BANG Three shoots rang out in the clearing and blood splattered in his face and he opened his eyes and there the bear was dead Lincoln was standing behind it with the gun smoking and he called out "Liam are you ok!" liam started crying with joy and ran to Lincoln and hugged him and when they let go they heard a barking noise and they looked over and saw that Benny was awake and wagging his tail and they smiled at this and Benny came over to them and they patted him. Liam then spoke out pointing at the bear "what should we do with this thing?" Lincoln thought for a moment and said " I say we burn it and everything dead in this clearing" So they cleaned up the clearing a bit so fire wouldn't spread and picked up all their stuff, set the dead stuff in fire and they started walking home and they didn't look back.
