Lucia POV.
"come on come on" i mumble as i start up my bike. It doesnt work.
"Damn! Why now of all days? I cant use the money i have. I need it to pay for the hospital bill so shiori can be discharged" i sit on the floor and start to tinker with the engine.
Im not sure what happened to my bike but it looks like ill be commuting for a while until i save up to get my bike fixed.
I havent been to the bike meets in 5 weeks now and im starting to miss it.
I was deep In thought as i didnt even notice the person approach me from behind. "What are you up to, Yonazuki Lucia?"
"Gyaa" i exclaim in surprise.
"None of your concern. Just leave me alone" i huff. I was too tired for his antics.
"Now now. Is that a way to treat me? After i came a this way to see you? Its been lonely at the meets without you" he says and slowly squats next to me. His hands folded with his cheek leaning on his hands to look at me.
"Do you know whats wrong with it?" He asks and i shake my head.
We stay like this for a bit until he gets up and dials on his phone. Im just watching him from where i sat on the floor.
"Ill have it fixed." He says and i look at him like he grew a second head.
"What?" He asks. "Why?" I ask and he stares at me
"You need it fixed yes?" I cant deny that so i nod. He smiles "lets wait for the truck to bring it to the shop then shall we?" He asks and sits on the bike as we waited.
It doesnt take long til the tow truck comes. They move professionally and swiftly to load my bike up to the bed of the truck and Maura makes a come here motion at me.
"Coming?" He purrs. Such a normal question, sounding so wrong from his mouth.
Hes getting my bike fixed though. I bite my lip and nod and get in with him.
"We'll see whats wrong with it and have it fixed. They'll also give an estimate of how long they need to do it" Maura says and i nod. 'why is he being so nice? Thats suspicious' i think to myself
We get to the shop and they unload my bike.
A team starts to diagnose as Maura and I hop out the truck and watch
"Should be fixed in about a week. Nothing very major to be concerned about." The mechanic says
"Oh thank you. How much would it be to fix?" I ask and the mechanic glances at Maura and shakes his head.
"Dont worry about it" he says and goes to get started on what needs to be fixed.
"Ok. Meantime i can go drop you off at your school" Maura tells me. I didnt notice its gotten so late.
I hesitantly nod and a black car pulls up near us.
"Lets go" he says and i found myself following without a thought.
We get to my school and someone opens the door for me.
"After you classes ill be by. You have something planned today yes?" Maura asks and i nod as i hop off.
"Uhh yeah. Do you want to come?" I ask figuring that Maura coming along with us to shiori's discharge celebration shouldn't be a problem as its only the guys and Mimori going anyway
He seems genuinely surprised i asked him along. Then his usual plotting smile comes back.
"Hmmm id like that. But if i say no, are you gonna make me come yourself?" He asks. Loud enough to get a reaction from the students that was passing by to get to the gate
"A simple yes or no would do maura." I say
He quickly answers "ok ok yes. Ill come by at the end of your classes" he says and does his little flirty wave before i close the car door and it drives off.
"L-Lucia-kun?" A voice from behind me speaks
"Thats the same person as a couple weeks ago yes? Could it be...?" Her friend asks.
Before they finish the thought i walk past them and head inside. Else id be late.
Maura POV.
I didnt expect hed invite me to his little get together. That was sweet. I need to think of something to bring along for the get together too.
I head to Genesis Company. Leon-sama told me he has something important to tell me after all.
I ride the elevator up and soon im walking down the hall to the far door where i then knock.
"Enter" a voice says.
I carefully open the door and step in.
"Leon-sama. You wanted to see me?" I ask. With my usual good boy facade that ive perfected through the years.
"Ah yes maura. Please sit" he gestures and i obey.
"I called you today as i have something special only you can do.." he starts
"I understand you know this boy" he continues and slides a photo of Ryugasaki Hiro on the table.
I look and nod "yes Leon-sama"
"I need you to befriend the boy. Hes my late bestfriends' son and i find it most beneficial if you two were to establish a deep strong friendship as well" he explain.
'what could the reason be? Why do i need to get close to this noisy boy' i think but im far smarter than to disobey Leon-sama.
"Yes, Leon-sama. Ill approach him" i say with a nod.
A soft side smile forms on Leon-sama's lips. "Good. That would be all Maura" he says and i get up and excuse myself.
I often have complete freedom except for when he needs me for these things.
I go back to my room to think of a plan before The Prince gets out from school.
Lucia POV.
My activities ran later than usual. The sun already golden as it starts to set as i get to the gates. A familiar individual already waiting.
"You're late yonazuki lucia" he says as he pushes himself from leaning against the wall.
"My bike is broken and its late. If i commute who knows how long til i get to the villa.Around 2 hours is the norm. What will i do? Shiori is waiting for me" i mumble softly.
Maura looks at me for a bit. "Ahh youre worried about that. Dont worry. Leave it to me. Give me 10 minutes and ill be right back" he says and i wait as he goes. A car would work but theres traffic along the way itll take longer. If only i had my bike.
After 7 to 10 minutes a interesting sound approaches.
Someone in a skin tight leather suit stops infront of me on a Solid gold BMW K1600 Grand America.
Said person takes their helmet off. "Maura?!"
"Thats a nice expression. But we dont have time. Hop on" he says and i look at the spare helmet strapped to the back seat and nod and take it as i hear whispers form the other students.
"Whoa who's the hot chick?"
"Is that Yonazuki Lucia?"
"Damn is he hitting that?"
I was too preoccupied with getting to my sister to pay attention to them.
I put the helmet on and hop on the back.
"You had your own bike this whole time?! Why do you keep insisting to ride with me then?" I ask. A bit of a yell so he'd hear me over the engine sound which sounds more like a tututu.
The engine felt different from my own bike. Mine shakes a lot while this one is almost like a soft purr.
"I told you. Something just feels different, riding while pressed up against you." He answers. I can hear his smirk from inside the helmet.
I hold on tight. Something tells me Maura drives crazy.
He kinda squeeks as i wrapped my arms around him to get ready for the ride.
"My, my Lucia. Be careful where you put those hands" he purrs and revs the engine.
This bike is very hard to miss. From its gloss and shine and golden color to the sound it emits everytime the engine is revved. It fits Maura so well.
"Here we go. We should be there in 30 minutes or less" no need for him to ask where it is apparently. He has info on everyone that plays shadowverse after all. Also, usually itll take 2 hours of commute to get there. So something tells me this will be a crazy ride.
We soon start moving. First moderately and slowly we gain speed. I grab tighter.
This person is crazy...
We zoom down the roads and highways and not once did i feel him use the breaks.
"Fuck!" I exclaim more to myself as we literally fly down the streets.
Now i understand. He wasnt excited before cause its his first time on a motorcycle. He was excited cause it was his first time backpacking on one.
He wasnt grabbing cause he was scared that one time. He was grabbing cause we banked and based on how he rides he doesnt bank well on curves and turns.
It all clicked as we fly past cars on the interstate.
Suddenly a car zooms past us. Honking loudly at Maura. As if trying to piss him off.
I can feel maura definitely got pissed off and he leans down further. I lean with him. My chest presses up against his back and like some crazy adrenaline junkie he gains more speed.
We're up to 200kph by now if i have to guess. I just grab tight and close my eyes.
We pass by the car and Maura flips him off behind him. This person is Crazy. Thats the only way i can describe him now. Crazy.
The rest of the way there. The breaks remained untouched as we stay mostly on open roads.
Like he promised we get to the villa within 30 mins. He parks and i was shaking and couldnt even move.
"We're here Yonazuki Lucia" he taps my arms and i loosen it and let go and hop off. My knees buckle though and i end up sitting on my ass on the ground.
"My life just flashed before my eyes multiple times during that ride." I mumble
"Oh come on now it wasnt that bad" Maura says and offers a hand after he takes his helmet off and places it on the tank of the bike.
"You always ride like that? Even back when i was unconscious?" I ask him and he laughs.
"Dont be silly. No way i can ride like that when youre unconscious. I told you right? Its not pleasurable to ride with someone unconscious." He says with a knowing smile.
I just know hes talking like this on purpose.
We head in and he suddenly speaks up as we head to the living room.
"I think i love riding even more with you. Your strong arms around me felt absolutely amazing" he winks.
"Ehh nii-san?" A reaction from Shiori that heard what maura said.
"Its not what you think." I quickly say. "And not what you guys think either" i turn to the others with shocked expressions as well
"Whoooa Maura you look so cool! Like a power ranger" Hiro says as Maura takes a seat on the couch.
Oddly enough, Maura takes mind with Hiro and even pats the spot next to him so Hiro sits.
"Itd be nice if i had a change of clothes though. Staying in this isnt very comfortable." Maura says. Tugging on the leather suit.
"Oh i brought extra clothes. Ill lend you some" Hiro says and hops up off the couch. Maura smiles softly and takes Hiro's offered hand and goes with him.
He glances my way with a little smirk before he leaves the room.
'Wait why am i even watching him?' I think to myself
