Stiles stretched out his tired limbs against the silky sheets and let out a yawn, slowly opening his eyes to the light coming from the window in the room. A small smile spread to his lips thinking back to his night with Derek.

"Good, you're up." A familiar voice said from across the room.

The teen turned around to find Derek sitting in the corner of the room, with his arms folded to his clothed chest and a stern look on his face.

"It took you long enough to wake up, get dressed, we are going for a walk. There is something I want to show you."

Stiles knew it was best not to question his Master, but he had many questions and he was sure it showed on his face.

"Stiles, now." He ordered, with an intense green stare.

The teen did as told, and dressed in silence. The tension was thick in the air.

He found himself tensing up as he realized Derek was guiding them deep into the woods, the same place his Master claimed was dangerous.

Was this it?

Was he going to kill him?

"Where are we going?" Stiles asked scared, walking closely behind Derek as he guided him past a bunch of thick trees and shrubs.

"You'll see," Master replied calmly, as he went on his way, leading the teen to a hidden place deep inside the woods, before coming to a stop.

Stiles looked around in amazement. There was a waterfall shooting out water into the air, trickling down a collection of moss-covered rocks, down into a small awaiting pond. There were wildflowers all around, some white, others pretty purples and pinks, and there was a big log that sat on the opposite side of the waterfall. It looked like a hidden oasis that only true forest goers would know about.

"Wow, this place is incredible."

"Paige used to think so." Master voiced softly, looking out into the distance as if, in thought.

Stiles turned to face him, curious.

"Paige?"

Derek swallowed hard before turning his attention toward his Pet.

"Do you want to know about my past?"

"Yes, I think it might help, especially since I'm having your baby."

Master gave a nod in understanding and gestured to the big log.

"Sit."

Stiles cautiously took a seat on the hard, wooden surface as Derek sat beside him. He watched and waited for his Master to talk.

Derek kept his eyes on the waterfall ahead of him as he started to speak, "This was our special spot, Paige, and I. This is where we would go as teens. At first, to escape our annoying families and vent, and then later it became so much more, our make-out spot, the first time we said I love you, and even, our first time together." He said with a small smile on his lips and a glint of happiness in his eyes.

However, his face quickly turned into a frown and his once lively eyes became lifeless.

"After my family was murdered, I pushed everyone away, including Paige. I felt guilty having her in my life after what had happened to my family. I didn't feel like I deserved to be happy. We ended up getting into a fight and she left. I went after her because the woods weren't safe. You see, Paige wasn't like me. She was a human and our family had werewolf enemies. She was fragile and couldn't defend herself like I could. I went to find her but I was too late, I…I found her dead right here, at our special spot. She was attacked, she must have fought back because she had claw marks on her arms and hands from blocking her face, but it wasn't enough, she got her throat ripped out." Derek stressed, clenching his jaw as if in pain, and looked down towards the ground. He took a deep breath trying to regain his strength, before looking back up towards the water.

"I became completely numb after that happened. Peter was there for me when my family died and after Paige, he helped run things when I was too weak to. He took control over everything, including me." He voiced with disgust, as his eyes narrowed in anger.

Stiles watched as Master's once loose form tensed up and began fidgeting with his hands.

"We became close, sickening close. I was young and naïve and Peter took advantage of that. He used to manipulate me into doing sexual things with him. I would give him head, as a way of showing loyalty to him and our family. And in a sick way, it was a comfort to have some form of affection. He even jerked me off a few times, though nothing further happened between us, but that was enough. It went on like this for months, eventually, I fought back and found my ground, and told him it would never happen again. We agreed to act like nothing ever happened and go back to the way things were, as uncle and nephew, but our relationship was forever torn after that. Peter was family, the only family I had left, so I didn't completely isolate him, but I kept my distance."

"Master, I'm so sorry you went through that." Stiles voiced sadly.

Derek's facial expression hardened at his words.

"It's not all woe is me, I've done things Stiles, horrible things."

The teen gulped nervously as he continued to talk.

"I had lots of pets before you came around, teen boys and girls. I forced them to do things, sexual and other demeaning acts. I wanted them miserable because I was miserable."

"What happened to them?" Stiles asked scared.

"They died because of me. Some of them couldn't take my form of torture and took their own lives, and the others tried to run off but I couldn't have that. I had them killed and made sure each one looked like an accidental death; so that when the cops would find the bodies, they wouldn't suspect any foul play."

"You did horrible things because you were hurt. There is still some good left in you, I know it." Stiles replied as he rubbed his belly in comfort, looking out into the distance.

"Is this a sick fantasy of yours, do you think I'll change and become a knight in shining armor, a prince charming? Master snapped.

"No, I…"

"Well, I have news for you, Stiles, I'm none of those things." He said with a disgusted look on his face before adding, "Far from it."

"I know."

"And yet, you claim you love me." Derek mocked, raising a thick black eyebrow in question.

Stiles gasped, "What? I… no?" The teen struggled to speak, as he went over certain events in his head, trying to understand what the creature was referring to.

"What, I didn't say that…did I?"

The sudden realization washed over the teen. His eyes grew big and his breathing picked up. "Oh god, I… I didn't. I didn't mean it. I mean, it was the sex. I was in the moment, overcome with pleasure."

Derek slowly nodded in silence unable to shake the feeling of slight disappointment that came over him. A part of him felt a strange rush when he first heard the words slip out the boy's mouth, but he wasn't sure why, perhaps it was because the only person to have ever loved him, besides his family, was Paige. He hated to admit it but he had missed that feeling, having someone care for him, love him, and not because they had to, but because they wanted to.

When he was younger it was possible, before he became damaged goods. He had such potential as a kid and even in his early teen years, but after his family…and then Paige, the old soft, sweet Derek was lost, dead even. And a new thick-skinned, darken menace was on the loose.

"I couldn't. How could anyone ever love a monster like you?" Stiles continued to babble to himself.

Derek winced at his words, his jaw locked and he clenched his teeth, trying to not let his emotions get the best of him.

"I'm glad we see eye to eye on this." He voiced sternly.

"Derek." Stiles suddenly gasped and grabbed the side of his stomach.

The creature's hard expression quickly turned to worry, "What is it? Is the baby okay, do you need the doctor?"

"No, no, I'm fine." The teen claimed, rubbing his belly.

Derek looked back at his Pet confused by the outburst.

"The baby is kicking; do you want to feel it?"

"No, I, I should get back to check on the pack," Derek said feeling uncomfortable.

"Come on, it won't bite," Stiles retorted, grabbing one of his big hands and placing it on the side of his bump.

The teen placed his hand on top of Derek's gently, guiding it over to the active spot, as Master's eyes watched his every move, cautiously, not sure if he could trust him, thinking as if, it was a trap or something.

"There. You feel that?" Stiles asked looking up at his Master's concentrated face.

Suddenly his lips curved up into a smile, and his eyes lit up in excitement.

Stiles rubbed the top of his hand in comfort, and Derek's eyes met his once more.

"It's nice to see you happy for a change."

The creature tensed up, feeling exposed. He quickly yanked his hand away and dropped his smile.

"We should head back. It's not safe out here." He said, getting up from his spot.

"Why are you so afraid to get close to me?"

Derek gulped, "I'm not afraid, I choose not to. There is a difference. It's about time you realize that, Pet."

"Why?"

Master said nothing, walking off through the woods, leaving Stiles behind.

The teen glanced back at his surroundings, which housed Derek's old memories, and rubbed his belly with a frown on his face.

"You really did a number on him, didn't you?"
