Well, here's my version of what Ben and Nellie were like growing up. It starts when they were ten and continues as they grow up together. Some chapters will be Sweeney instead of Ben. Rated T for language and violence. Please R&R.

12. Long Overdue Update (Authors Note)

Hey all, been a long time hasn't it...

10 years since I last touched this old thing and yet my brain still goes back to it on occasion; remembering when life was simpler and all that counted was getting this updated. Funnily enough it was doing stuff like this that made me eventually become a creative writing major in college. Curiosity though since I'm assuming, like a lot of us, the Josh Groban revival soundtrack has reawaked the part of me that deeply loved the movie and musical as a whole... would you all still be interested if I was to actually rewrite this old fic and actually hopefully continue it? This original would still stay here and in tact, just a new story would go up as well as it was rewritten. I'd like to think my writing has improved a lot from the high school senior I was when I first started this and even in rereading it on occasion I can see all kinds of new places to take it and improve. Feel free to let me know your thoughts and even if you'd rather I just let this old thing rest, I appreciate y'all having read for what you did.
