Big Talk of the Holy Land
"Huh, Kenpachi, is that really a good idea?" Kenshi asked, feeling worried about this.
"Oh, and what makes you want to have a match with those four when they were just watching?" Yoruichi asked curiously.
"Those four have been giving me and my brother here nothing but some sink eyes for some time since we started class, having the looks that really pisses me off and think they're better just because they're a bunch of bratty nobles." Kenpachi insulted smirking.
Those words really touch a nerve or two on the four male students causing them to give a death glare at Kenpachi, mocking them and not caring about their status.
"Oh, is that what they were staring at us for? I thought it was because they were paying attention in class." Kenshi surprised.
"They have, just trying to think of ways showoff." Kenpachi stated.
"So, how about it, boys? Care to try showing us how you four really stack against me?" Kenpachi challenged the four male students with a scary grin.
"Kenpachi, just what the heck are you doing?" Ceres worried, he only gotten to know Kenpachi and Kenshi for one day in class and fear things might go bad for them.
"Come on, show me what you got." Kenpachi taunted.
"Kenpachi, I really hope you're not planning on hurting them too." Kenshi concerned about this.
"Should we really let this happen?" Mexiah asked Yoruichi asked.
"I say let them blow off some steam, best way for the students to understand how a battle is how hard it is fighting an opponent with strength above many." Yoruichi believed this to be an important lesson.
"Very well, we accept your challenge." Cliff Cleese smirked as he and the other three male students stand up.
Soon, all four of the male students are on the fighting practice stage with Kenpachi several feet across from them and ready to fight.
"I think this is a bad idea." Kenshi worried.
"Doesn't your brother hold back during training sessions back home?" Mexiah asked.
"Not exactly, Kenpachi always prefers to go all-in with his strength during training even though we've been trying to tell him to hold back to measure his strength before going all-out. But he always does it at full power like an animal that never stops running." Kenshi explained about Kenpachi's strength.
"Oh, sounds like the nurse office is going to have four bodies to exam." Yoruichi smirked.
Kenpachi tap his foot twice and look at the four male students, he can already tell these boys are so weaker than himself but gonna have fun to crush their ego.
"Why don't you boys come at me at the same time. One at a time would be boring." Kenpachi dare them to come at him together.
"Find, but just know that you're the one who ask for this." Cliff said.
"I know, and I'm going to enjoy this." Kenpachi smirked.
"(How dare this fool, treating us nobles like we're on the same level which we are not! You will soon learn his place!)" Cliff thought angered.
"Here we come!" Cliff shouted as he and his fellow Sacred Mechamasters ran toward the eyepatch boy.
Kenpachi didn't even bother to move as he stood his ground and hold his wooden practice sword pointing it down to the floor, most of the female students are wondering what kind of match this would be even though a few of them can guess.
Cliff finds that stance to be insulting that Kenpachi isn't going to take them seriously and that just made him even angrier.
"This will teach you not to mess with the likes of us!" Cliff yelled as the boys are about to throw their wooden swords at Kenpachi.
"Yeah, I doubt that." Kenpachi said.
With one swing of his wooden sword, Kenpachi easily strike all four of the noble male students away while breaking their own wooden swords too as they are sent flying all the way to the grassy slope of the schoolyard and knocking them unconscious.
"Oh, that has got to hurt." Yoruichi chuckled.
"I think I heard a bone breaking, or two." Mexiah worried for those boys.
"Yeah, that's Kenpachi, always going overboard with the attacks." Kenshi sighed.
"Well, it looks like I feel pretty satisfied now even if nobody were close to giving me a challenge aside from Yoruichi." Kenpachi tossed his wooden sword away and walks off the stage.
"I'm going to find a place to take a nap." Kenpachi said.
"Kenshi, go with him and make sure he doesn't hurt anyone else." Mexiah ordered.
"Don't worry, Kenpachi won't cause any problems when he feels satisfied." Kenshi assured before walking with his adopted brother.
"Those boys sure are something else, are they?" Yoruichi smiled.
"Indeed, they are. But it makes you become more curious about those boys, like what are they truly capable of." Mexiah said, feeling a bit more interested in them than before, especially Kenshi.
"Wow, seeing them in combat like that makes me want to work extra hard on my own combat skills." Lapis amazed at how strong Kenshi and his brother are.
"It would seem those two will get the attention of the combat club very soon, and perhaps I could become more curious to know them myself." Yuu said to herself.
"Alright class, if you were somewhat inspired on those fights then let that be a motivation for you to get stronger as Sacred Mechamasters! I'm sure you all have your own worth to prove, now get on up here and train hard!" Yoruichi advised.
"Yes, ma'am!" All the female students said at the same time.
The girls started their practice sword swings, trying to move fast with the strength to hit hard. Mexiah and Yoruichi are impress with seeing how the girls are taking this class seriously now, guess they have the Peace-Chaos Brothers to thank for that, now they can see if these girls can really be tough as nails.
"Excuse me, Miss Yoruichi, Miss Mexiah." The headmistress walked over to them.
"Headmistress, taking a little break from the office?" Yoruichi asked.
"I just wanted to check up on our two new students, but I was informed that they're not participating in this class. So, I was curious to know why." The headmistress explained her reason of being here.
"Because those boys are more than what we imagined them to be. They each use a rather unusual style, Kenshi being skilled with swift movements and Kenpachi with the strength for heavy hits. Cleary, they're both masters at those skills." Mexiah answered.
"Both master swordsmen, but how?" The headmistress asked surprise.
"They told us about their grandfather and some other relatives training them in the arts of swordsmanship. Not only that, but Kenpachi also has a very tough body to withstand any attacks that comes at him like one strike from me and he didn't even flinch." Yoruichi explained.
"Yes, it became very clear to us that those boys are too strong to train with the other students." Mexiah said.
"Yes, I see. You're doing the right thing for the safety of the children." The headmistress nodded.
"A little late for them, four male students were sent to the nursey by Kenpachi when he defeated them all with one attack at the same time." Yoruichi mentioned.
"Oh my, that boy certainly doesn't hold back." The headmistress surprised.
"I guess you could say it was those boys' pride for getting the best of them." Mexiah stated.
(With Kenshi and Kenpachi)
"I think this place will do until class is over." Kenpachi looked around at the spot.
"Hey Kenpachi, did you really want to fight those guys because they didn't like how we're students here and not as Sacred Mechamasters?" Kenshi asked curiously.
"Yeah, those guys didn't seem the type to welcome anything that may seem less and not worth their time." Kenpachi answered.
"Kinda makes you glad we weren't raised to be like that." Kenpachi looked up at the sky, thinking about the family like his parents.
"I guess, but maybe you could have at least just knocked their swords away instead of sending them flying." Kenshi believed that could have been a painless way to settle things.
"Please, like I would give them anything less." Kenpachi grinned.
"Still, the students here are training to be the best warriors for their kingdom and such, that means the upperclassmen are probably a little stronger." Kenpachi smirked with excitement.
Kenshi let out a sigh after hearing this. Of course, Kenpachi would still be thinking about fighting other strong warriors at a time like this and always trying to push himself to become even stronger even if it means fighting against Death himself to keep on fighting for another day.
But that's the kind of strong soul he always admired about Kenpachi, to always move forward with his head up high and never afraid to face off whatever danger is in his way.
"Hey Kenpachi, how about you and I have our own sparring session?" Kenshi suggested.
"Now what brings on such an idea like that?" Kenpachi asked.
"I thought you still wanna have some fighting until it gets out of your system, we also need to keep ourselves in shape just in case Doll or those other bad men are around." Kenshi explained his reason for training.
"You think those guys have something to do with that thief the other night?" Kenpachi asked.
"I think so, they were serious about killing Empress Lashara and since they failed, they'd have to come up with a new plan to finish the job." Kenshi theorized.
"Plus, I got one win ahead of you." Kenshi proclaimed with a grin.
"No fucking way! You maybe a little faster than me, but there's no way you got more wins than me!" Kenpachi stomped one foot forward toward Kenshi.
"I say, I got one win over you!" Kenpachi proclaimed.
"Oh really, then why don't you try proving it?" Kenshi asked, holding his wooden sword.
"Now it's on!" Kenpachi felt excited to have another sparring match with Kenshi.
"Excuse me, do you two mind if I could have a moment with you?" Ceres asked, walking up to the brothers.
"Oh hey, Ceres, what's up?" Kenshi asked.
Unknown to the three boys, Yukine is hiding behind the bushes a little while before Ceres came in and thank goodness she wasn't spotted, otherwise it would have been embarrassing that she was caught spying on Kenshi just for curiosity, and that she wanted to see more of him for a little while longer.
(With Yukine and Maria)
Yukine made her way back to her class where Maria is sitting on the grassy slope because combat isn't one of her set of skills, but she does hear that Kenpachi and Kenshi are about to do their own training.
"Kenshi Masaki and Kenpachi Zaraki Masaki. Who do you think they really are?" Maria wondered.
"From what Wahanly told us, those boys were part of a dark group and force to go do the job in killing the Lashara along with two Sacred Mechamasters." Maria remembered that inform.
"The white and red Sacred Mechanoid… They're the pilot." Yukine theorized, given how strong and skilled they are with all the jobs they've been doing for the Holy Land.
"That's a very nice theory. But how could there be two Sacred Mechamasters who we've never even heard of or seen before? Perhaps those brothers may know more than they're letting on." Maria believed.
"Not to mention this other Sacred Mechamaster they know." Maria looked up to see Yukine starring off into space.
It didn't take a genius to know what's been on her fateful servant's mind and what certain boy she is thinking about right now.
"You've taking a liking to Kenshi, haven't you?" Maria asked, seeing right through Yukine.
"I have." Yukine admitted with her cheeks blushing like crazy.
"Shall we steal him then?" Maria asked again.
"Yes." Yukine nodded, she really wants to get to know Kenshi more and get closer to him too.
"Having two very special brothers is wasted on Empress Lashara, I'm sure she wouldn't mind if she loses one of them." Maria said, trying to come up with an idea.
And then a bright idea came up from her head and believe this would work.
"Yukine, come over here for a second." Maria gestured her assistant to come down and whispered into her ear.
(Lunchtime)
"Alright, lunchtime! And the best part is, I don't have to do all of those boring jobs and get on with lunch!" Kenpachi smiled as he got up from his seat and headed for the cafeteria.
"Would you mind if I join you?" Yuu asked, walking up to him.
"Are you sure, thought you would have some friends to eat with." Kenpachi raised an eyebrow.
"I don't have a lot of friends; I mostly don't interact with the other students and just being quiet while reading my book." Yuu explained.
"In other words, you're really shy around other people." Kenpachi figured out this little girl.
"What… I… No, I'm not shy! I just don't do well with other people!" Yuu proclaimed with her cheeks blushing red and such.
"Whatever, let just go get our lunch." Kenpachi said as he walks out of the classroom.
The two made their way to the dining hall where the other students are having their lunch and the servants serving the food, and Kenpachi is enjoying himself with the big plate of food that has been given to him by Kenshi who is working in the kitchen. Yuu is having her own plate of food like the rest, and her own meal.
"You certainly eat a lot, do you?" Yuu asked.
"What can I say? I'm still growing on the inside, and there were times that Kenshi and I had to train alone from each other and inside a really big forest, each had to forge for food for days until we were able to find each other and back home." Kenpachi explained.
"My goodness, your family really put you through all of that?" Yuu shocked.
"Yeah, but it was nothing that we can't handle." Kenpachi said.
"Wow, that must mean you're a real tough cookie." Haineko commented as she walks over to them with her own plate of food.
"Hey, you're that cat girl who did that fighting demonstration." Kenpachi recognized the girl.
"Glad you recognize me. I'm Haineko Matsumoto. It's an honor to meet the cutie who was checking me out." Haineko winked at Kenpachi.
"(How odd, her last name sounds a lot like Japanese. Must be one of those other world people, maybe one of them came from earth too.)" Kenpachi thought theorized, but he can worry about all that stuff later.
"So, you like to do some fighting?" Kenpachi asked.
"That's right, my mom would always tell me that being a tough fighter can also help me be more beautiful than I'll ever realize. I thought she was just kidding, but it got me curious and decided to give it a try." Haineko explained, and her hair twitches like cat ears.
"Curious like a cat." Yuu commented with a deadpan face.
"Hey! You're making it sound like I'm a lazy cat!" Haineko snapped.
"Easy girl, just be glad you're awesome at fighting." Kenpachi said.
"Well, you're right about that." Haineko smiled.
"(Looks like my first day in school didn't turn out to be boring, after all.)" Kenpachi thought commented while biting on his meat.
(After School)
"Here, Kenpachi." Chiaia handed Kenpachi his pendant with a red string.
"Oh, I see you made the necklace part new." Kenpachi surprised that she was able to make a red new necklace for his pendant.
"Yeah, you won't be able to fix the chain properly until you get to your homeland. In the meantime, you can use that." Chiaia nodded.
"Wow, that was nice of you, Chiaia." Kenshi impressed.
"It was kind of stupid of you to do some more work when you don't have to do all of tat anymore." Kenpachi mocked Kenshi which hurt him in the heart.
"I'm impressed you were able to fix it." Mahya commented which Chiaia agrees.
"Oh, and you did it with a red cord." Mahya noticed the color.
"Is that bad?" Kenshi asked.
"No. It's a supposed tradition from another world. Between partners, red cords are an expression of love, a symbol of two bodies forever intertwined." Mahya explained which causes Chiaia to gasp in shock.
"Oh my, love is in the air." Lashara teased.
"Well, I'm off to nap. Wake me up when dinner is ready." Kenpachi walked away to his room.
"Wait, Kenpachi! Give me back that cord right now!" Chiaia chased after him with her face being as red as a tomato.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Kenpachi and Kenshi certainly had a good day on the first day in school, with the former showing off his strength by beating up some bratty dudes and seem to have made a couple of new friends too. Even getting a new cord for his pendant from his future love, Chiaia. Hehe.
