A/N: Hi there, I'm so sorry it has taken me this long to update but thank you for your patience. To be totally honest, I haven't been feeling as inspired lately but I owe it to you guys to end the story properly. I feel like this is where the story should naturally come to an end - so this will be the final chapter.
Thank you so much to everyone who has commented or left kudos on AO3/supported the fic in any way so far. I truly didn't expect people to be interested in the concept for this story so it was a pleasant surprise to get positive feedback.
Take care xoxo
If you guys have any prompts for Brittana or ideas you would like to see explored in other fics, pls don't hesitate to let me know.
There's a four year time skip from the previous chapter.
Four Years Later
Valentino was still not totally happy about having to share the attention from his moms. He didn't want a baby brother… far less two of them! He was supposed to be the baby! What the hell was this?
It was kind of cool having little brothers to follow him around and look up to him though, he had to admit, even if sometimes it got on his nerves when Tony followed him everywhere and copied him while their youngest brother, Milo, tried to do the same. It made him feel special to be his little brothers' protector and he got to show off that he was ten already. He was getting taller now too and he loved to show off about that as well.
Now that his moms were officially married and his last name was Lopez, everything was way better than it had been way back before he met his Mami, surprisingly even though he thought she was a bad guy at first. Mommy was still silly and bubbly but he didn't have to worry about her forgetting things now that Mami was around all the time to help her remember when she got all airheaded or scatterbrained. Mommy was also really happy all the time now and she cried in her room anymore. Mami never ran away after all and she kept her promise that she wouldn't stop loving him or Mommy, so he didn't feel like he had to worry so much about everything.
"Wake up, Tino!"
Valentino groaned when all he saw was a golden blur and his little brother basically jumped on him as soon as he opened his eyes. He shared a room with Tony, who had the lower bunk in their bunk bed while he insisted on having the top one.
"Cut it out, Twerp!" Valentino grunted, shoving his head into his pillow as Tony kept jumping on him and making goofy faces whenever he looked up. He half-heartedly kicked his little brother, who began whining when he couldn't get the stubborn older boy to move and eventually sitting on him as Valentino grumbled about how annoying he was.
Eventually Tony threw some water on him and Valentino shouted after him, climbing down from his bunk at full speed and chasing after his brother like he did practically everyday because they were always fighting or playing pranks on each other. Tony sure was fast but Val knew he was faster with his longer legs.
"You're a jerk! Let me go!" Tony shouted, giggling when Valentino finally caught up to him outside of their moms' bedroom.
"Mami's sleeping, shut your loud mouth!" Valentino hissed and glared at Tony for biting his arm.
"You're louder than I am!"
The two began wrestling each other while their two year old brother, Milo, sat nearby and cheered them on as best as he could though he didn't know too many words, clapping his little hands. After a while, Valentino had Tony in a headlock while his younger brother kept shrieking at the top of his lungs but both of them thought this was the most fun thing ever… until their mom had something to say about it.
"Hey! Stop all that fighting! Break it up!"
Breaking up fights between the siblings was a daily occurrence for Brittany and Santana. At the sound of Santana's sharp voice, Valentino and Tony instantly stopped kicking and pushing each other while Milo whimpered beside them worriedly. They all knew that when Mami got mad, she meant business. She had one hell of a temper.
Tony poked his head in curiously, beaming at his mami, who smiled back at him softly and little Milo followed behind him, clinging to his brother's shirt the entire time. As soon as she sat up, Santana was ambushed by her three sons as she expected she would be. They began to climb on two of them, kissing her and Brittany all over their faces.
Lord Tubbington's grey fur practically stood on end as he puffed up, his eyes widening in alarm as the children came into the room though he was always patient with the boys, who Brittany affectionately called his "little brothers." Brittany, who had been laying in Santana's arms with her head resting on her wife's chest, rolled over when she heard the commotion and stroked the cat's head placatingly, her eyes lighting up at the sight of her sons.
Santana shook her head at the three of them, grabbing a squealing Tony and placing him on their bed next to her wife while she held little Milo in her arms and Valentino clung to her other side. Her three energetic sons could be a handful sometimes, especially the oldest two who were always competing. Even though the boys were frequently interrupting private time between her and Brittany, she loved those moments of snuggling with her three children and wife.
At four years old, Tony was very similar in appearance to Valentino at his age with the same adorable dimples on both cheeks, pouty nose, tiny ears and rounder face shape that was almost identical to Santana's but his colouring was so similar to Brittany's, except for his golden, freckled skin being just a few shades darker than the pale woman's.
Santana adored his golden curls, and bright blue eyes that were so similar to her wife's own except for their shape that was more like the Latina's eyes. Tony was like a little ray of light, as his moms saw it with his cheerful, goofy disposition and that side of him also reminded Santana so much of her wife.
Tony was even more of a troublemaker than his older brother and much more of an airhead, to Santana's amusement. She adored how similar her youngest son was to her wife at times with his sunny, bubbly personality and silly comments but it was difficult to keep up with him since he was such a little ball of energy.
When Tony was just a toddler, Santana and Brittany both realized how much they wanted another child already since they loved the experience so much. Brittany swore that by their determination alone, they could make that happen and they were both thrilled when the blonde became pregnant again not long after that.
Milo was only two and although he was still growing into his looks, Santana instantly pointed out how much their youngest looked like her wife in features, from his pointy nose and slightly longer, slimmer face to his bright, upturned blue eyes that were more elongated than his brothers', elf-like ears and his thinner, more delicate lips. His hair was still bright blond, just like his brothers' own had been at his age - though straighter and blonder than his brothers' hair had ever been - and he had dimpled cheeks just like the other two, which was one of the only traits he seemed to have inherited entirely from Santana.
Though all of the children had a darker complexion than Brittany's, their youngest child's skin was the fairest golden tone of the three brothers and the most freckled. It was obvious that Milo was most similar to Brittany in his soft looks and personality, which Santana was pleased about as she loved having a "Mini Britt" around. Milo was the most peaceful and quiet of the three so far but his older brothers always seemed to lead him astray and pull him into their troublemaking antics.
The three goofy boys already had plenty of similarities as well, including their love for singing and dancing which made their moms proud - Santana frequently had to sing Songbird to get them to calm down - and of course, their love for cats.
"Mami, when are we leaving?" Tony piped up excitedly at full volume, jumping up and down on the bed.
"Mami! Mickey Mouse!" Milo cried, gazing adoringly at Santana as she bounced him in her arms. He was always clinging to Santana the most out of anyone in the family and she adored him being her little shadow.
"That's right. You're going to see Mickey Mouse!" A sleepy but happy Brittany chimed in from beside them as Santana chuckled, kissing her son's cheek. Santana and Brittany had been planning the Disney World trip for a while and their youngest two boys constantly reminded them of it every day in their excitement. Today was the day they would fly down to Miami. Although Santana wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea of a Disney-themed trip and what it might entail, she loved seeing how ecstatic it made Brittany and their sons. Besides, not that she'd ever admit it openly to anyone other than Brittany but Santana secretly did love some of the movies.
"This trip is just for babies." Valentino pouted, crossing his arms and poking Tony, who poked him back in response until Santana eventually separated them with a heavy sigh.
"No it's not!" Tony insisted, offended and his cheeks were puffed out, looking exactly like a blond version of Santana or Valentino when they got upset about anything. "It's fun! I'm gonna kiss Ariel!"
"You're just saying that because you're a baby."
"I'm not a baby!"
"Yes you are, you're a diaper baby!" Valentino teased him, grinning when his brother's face went bright red as he tackled the older boy again and smacked him.
"I don't wear them anymore!"
"Hey, you loved Disney too when you were seven and we took you there… and even before that when your mommy took you for the first time when you were really little." Santana reminded him with a smirk as the boy glared at her with flushed cheeks, embarrassed as his brothers giggled.
"No, Mami, don't say that!"
"Why are you embarrassed? You were so cute back then," Santana told him, kissing his cheek apologetically as she ran her fingers through his curly hair. "You're still our cute little peanut. Isn't he, Britt?"
"That's right! Aw, Sweetie, don't you want to go with us? Don't you want to go on the rides and see the parade? We'll do some more big boy things with you too, you know; it won't just be about the babies." Brittany pulled her oldest son into a hug and whispered to him. She knew her oldest son was sometimes sensitive about the younger boys usually getting more attention because they were so little so she wanted to make sure he felt appreciated.
"Maybe it won't be so bad." Valentino eventually relented when Mommy turned her soft blue eyes on him, cheering up but groaning half-heartedly when Tony jumped on him and hugged him at some point.
"We're so proud of you, V." Mami told him, her almost black eyes softening when she gazed at him warmly.
"Really?"
"Always."
Later that day, the entire Lopez family set off on their trip. Valentino grinned proudly when his mami wrapped an arm around his shoulders, holding Milo in her other arm with his mom beside them, holding Tony's hand tightly as he skipped along beside her, similar looks of excitement on their faces. Years ago when it was just him and Mommy, he'd have never imagined what it would be like having his other mom around and even little brothers too but now, he couldn't imagine it being any other way.
