"Kai! Wake up, now!" shouted Chronoa

"Mmhh, 2 more minutes, please," said half-awake Kai, who is in bed. He's now 19 years old.

"Hurry up! Before I get to you, you better wash your face now!" yelled the Kaioshin of Time.

"Alright, I'm up," replied Kai as he went to wash up. He then picked up his spectacles from the table beside his bed.

After that, he went to the kitchen.

Chronoa, who is now done cooking, asks, "Did you sleep late again?"

Kai just nodded.

"Gosh, don't let it become a habit. Go finish your breakfast. I will be waiting with Toki-toki and Old Kai at the Time Nest." said Chronoa

"Okay, Mom.See you later," said Kai as she went out.

"Don't forget to pack your bags and capsules." Chronoa reminds him.

How could he forget? This is the day he will be living in his own timeline after the events of the Xenoverse.

(A few months ago)

-Chasm of Time-

"Damn you! Damn you!" screamed the Demon God Demigra.

"It's over now, Demigra. You lost." said Kai, now in Super Saiyan 2, panting heavily with Goku in Super Saiyan 3 beside him.

"Noooooooo!!" Demigra pulled back his right arm, then rushed towards the Saiyans with a red, dark aura surrounding him.

Goku then turned to Kai, who nodded in response. Two blue orbs like auras surrounded them as they chanted Goku's signature technique.

"Ka...Me...Ha...Me...," both of them cupped their hands as a blue orb of energy was formed.

"HAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!" the two yelled at the top of their lungs in unison as they outstretched their arms, releasing a huge KamehameHa towards the Demon God.

The two Kamehamehas started to combine, making a huge ki wave that intercepted the Demon God, who outstreched his hand to try to punch the Saiyans.

"Guoooooo!!!!" screamed Demigra.

The beam clashes with the Demon God. Clearly, both sides were struggling to fight back.

"Die,maggots!!" yelled Demigra as he pushed back the Kamehameha wave slowly. Goku and Kai certainly are having a hard time to push the blast.

"I will never, ever, lose to you!" said Goku confidently.

"KAI,NOW'S THE TIME!! TOGETHER!!!" yelled Goku.

"HAAAAAA!!!!!!!" As Kai's eyes flashed from emerald to purple for a second as both of them expelled all of their energy, enough to double the size of the beam.

Demigra was engulfed in the blast as he said his final words, "I-impossible, I am a god...I've become a god!", leaving a small dark crystal.

The blast hit one of the crystals in the Chasm of Time as cracks were forming.

"Watch out!" yelled Goku to Kai as they dodged the crystal that was falling down.

"Kieeeee!" Toki-toki immerged from the small black crystal and chirped as Goku said, "It's crumbling! Let's go!"

Goku grabbed on Kai and Toki-toki as he teleported them out using instant transmission.

-Present-

At the Time Nest, Chronoa started to watch various timelines as she heard Old Kai say, "It's been months since the last altercation in history."

Chronoa replied, "We need to be sure. Trunks is now in pursuit of Bojack and his crew. As for Shallot, he's still recovering from his sickness."

Then they heard footsteps from the gate of Time Nest. Kai is now walking down the stairs with messy, pointed hair, wearing a black Time Patroller tracksuit and jeans. He also carried two bags alongside him to the table in the Time Nest.

"Mom, I'm ready to go now," he says as he takes the blue time scroll, smiling at his mother.

Chronoa reminds him to visit sometimes. Kai nodded as he waved goodbye to them. Kai was surrounded by a bright light until he disappears from view.

There are actually two reasons why Kai wanted to visit his universe again. Well, first, to relax himself and train for a few years.

The second reason is...to meet his favourite idol from his universe, Ai Hoshino.
