-Kai Pov-

One year has passed since I got accepted in the entertainment industry. Mr. Taishi has been a great help to me.

Under his tutelage, I became a great actor. I can't thank him enough. I also visited Mom, but that was two months ago.

Being an actor isn't only my job. But being Hero too. Nowadays, fewer criminal activities are going on, making my job easier.

But peace never lasts long for me.

Kai is now wearing a black Time Patroller tracksuit and jeans, his favourite outfit.

He is now at school with Director and his other friends from his division. Today is the shoot of the school romance tv show.

Although he was not involved in this shooting, he wanted to observe other actor's abilities and try to improve his own. Also, there is a lot of food served to the actors and the cameramen. Kai couldn't be happier.

He is now stuffing his face with a bunch of food until he hears a familiar voice.

"I'm Ai from Strawberry Productions. I look forward to working with you today!"

He then stopped to see Ai bow. Alongside her are Mrs. Miyako and the twins.

Director walked and stood in front of Ai, eyeing her up as she said, "Is something the matter, Director?"

"No, nothing in particular," he replied.

"Kinda scary, isn't he?" whispered Ruby to Aqua.

Aqua too had the same thought as he whispered back, "Yeah, that face of his."

Director director asked, "Hm? Whose kids are these?", staring at them.

"Oh, they're my kids," lied Mrs. Miyako.

Director gave them a dark stare as he said, "The idea of a manager bringing her kids to the set...".

This made them extremely nervous.

But a thought struck him down as he said, "This one of those work-style reform things?"

Ai looked confused. "Hm?"

Director then continues, "Signs of the times, huh?" ruffling his hair as he also said, "Well, some people even bring their dogs these days."

They sigh in relief as Ruby sees Kai waving at them.

"Mr. Kai!" yelled Ruby, running to Kai. This attracted some attention.

"Woah, Ruby," said Kai as he carried Ruby on his shoulder.

Director who saw this asked Kai, "You know them?".

Kai quickly responded, "Ermm, yeah! Sometimes I played with them when I visited the agency, hehe."

Director felt like something was off but shrugged it off and walked away.

"Hey Kai! I didn't know you were here too."

Ai is now walking towards Kai, smiling.

"Yeah, I thought that it'd be good for me to observe them," replied Kai, smiling at her too.

"Or did you come for food?" Aqua interrupted him, making them laugh.

They soon settled down. Kai was editing some videos using his laptop, the director had taught him about editing and now he was so engrossed with it. As the set was filming, Kai felt two evil Ki and a familiar Ki appear above the city.

"Aniki?" He wondered as he sensed that Shallot was fighting the two evil Ki signatures. He stopped immediately, gaining some looks from the crews.

"Excuse me." As he goes out of the classroom. Aqua and Director, who were having a conversation outside, were interrupted by him running.

They felt suspicious of Kai's actions until someone called the director.

"Director! We're all ready for the set test."

"Oh, okay. I'll watch from here," he replied as they watched the filming.

Kai, now a Super Saiyan, uses his watch to change his clothes into his Saiyan armour. He had asked Bulma for a little favour: make him a watch that can change his clothes into his Saiyan armour. The same thing that Gohan had with his Great Saiyaman suit.

He immediately rushed to the scene. He clicked on his scouter, connecting him to the Time Nest.

"Mom, what's the situation?" Kai asked Chronoa, who is spectating the fight.

Chronoa immediately tells him that Shallot was fighting Turles and Lord Slug on Planet Namek but was transported here by Towa.

"Towa? That means..."

"Yeah, Mira is back too," answered Chronoa as she continued, "But Trunks is following them, and you need to help Shallot. He is quickly losing ground right now."

"Yeah, I know!" as he flies even faster.

Above the city, Shallot, now a Super Saiyan, is fending off the two time breakers from attacking the city.

"Damn that witch, Towa. She transported me here knowing that I needed to worry about the city." Shallot unleashed a barrage of Ki blasts at the two, then vanished, only to appear behind them. He then proceeded to pummelled them to the ground.

Nearby people started to run from the scene. But some people were recording the scene using their phones.

"Urggh, they are tougher than they look! That fruit they have been eating must be the reason." said Shallot as the two villains yelled, raising their ki with a black-coloured aura surrounding them. Their eyes became red as they rushed towards Shallot.

A blast from above stopped them in their tracks. Chronoa said through his scouter, "We sent you a backup!"

"Yeah, I know." He said this while smirking at Kai, who descended from the sky.

"Need a little help, Aniki?" said Kai as he entered his battle stance.

"Yeah. Let's kick some butt!" he replied.

They raised their Ki, releasing a golden aura as they rushed towards the time breakers. Kai is facing off against Turles while Shallot deals with Lord Slug.

Kai and Turles were changing blows, neither of them giving time for an opening. Eventually, Kai ducked from Turles's punch and released a quick punch to his stomach. Blood spewed from Turles' mouth. He ignored the pain and slammed Kai to the ground.

Kai is lying in the crater, holding his head. "Whoa, he's seriously strong," he thought. He then sees Turles heading to him as the punch connects.

Turles smirked, having punched his enemy. But when he looked back at the crater, Kai was gone. "An Afterimage?". He tried to find Kai, but it was too late. Kai appeared in front of him, yelling,

"Big Bang Attack!!"

The blue ball of energy consumed Turles, making him crashed into Slug, who's having a hard time against Shallot. They crashed into a car, making it explode.

"Kai, it's time to end this," said Shallot as Kai stood beside him.

The two villains started to charge their final attack, just like the Time Patrol. Turles used his hand to form a purple ball, with Lord Slug using his mouth to fire the beam.

"HAAAH!!" The Time Breakers yelled as they released the blast.

"WILD CANNON!!"

"GALICK CANNON!!"

Both of them fired their attacks, clashing against the two beams.

"Nraaaahh!!" Eventually, the twin cannons from Shallot and Kai overpowered the two beams, consuming time breakers and perishing alongside the blast.

As the blast dissipated, both of them were covered in cuts and bruises. They released a sound of exhaustion.

"Huh... Not bad at all, Kai," said Shallot as they fistbumped. The people cheered them.

"Good job, you two." Chronoa congratulated them.

"That is a spectacular display of power... but I don't think they're finished yet." said Old Kai.

"I'm heading back to Mira's location!" said Shallot.

"Let me go along with you too!"

Kai said to Shallot, but Chronoa disagreed.

"Kai, Towa sent Turles and Lord Slug here because she knew you were here. We can't risk having this world destroyed. Remember, we cannot undo any changes in this world. For now, you need to protect this world." Chronoa tries to explain it to her adopted son.

Kai just listened to her, clutching his hand. He wants to get revenge for Ruby's death. Shallot's heightened sense of smell allows him to notice Kai's rage building up.

He puts a hand on Kai's shoulder, saying, "Don't worry. I will make him pay for what he's done."

Kai just smiled and nodded. "Thanks, Aniki." as Shallot disappears to track down Mira with Trunks.

"I need to get back to the set now," he thought as he flew off. He noticed his watch had a large scratch mark on it, but he shrugged it off.

Well, he made a terrible mistake. His watch doesn't seem to function again after he tries to change his clothes. The only thing that changed was his scouter, which was replaced by his glasses.

He is now hiding behind a wall, watching to see if the set has finished filming. He returned to his base form as soon as he realised there was no one left.

There is so many Ki signature here so he need to check the set.

"Damn it, I shouldn't left my laptop there." As he turns around, he meets Ai, Mrs. Miyako, and the twins. They're shocked to see him covered in cuts and bruises, but they're more shocked at Kai's appearance.

"Kai... you're Hero?"
