There was a moment of silence. Kai is now staring at them.

His mind screamed, telling him to run from the scene. But before he could make any move, Ai asked the obvious question.

"Kai... you're Hero?"

"Aaaahhhhh!!!!!!" His mind screamed in his head as he just smiled nervously and waved at her awkwardly.

Aqua is now putting the pieces together. "So, that's why I saw him going out earlier..."

Everyone was weirded out by the situation until Ai spotted some wounds that Kai received from fighting Turles.

"Those wounds..." She said this while slowly walking towards him.

Kai flinched when Ai stood in front of him and started to check on him.

"Are you ok? These wounds looked so bad..."

Kai's face immediately turns as red as a beet when Ai caresses it. He put his hands on her shoulders. He scratched his face as he said,

"I'm fine! This is just merely a scratch... OUCH!!!!" Kai lets out a yelp as Ruby touches a cut on his leg.

Ruby and the rest went to him when Ai was checking on his injury.

"Hey, Kai! Are you really the Hero?!!"

"How did you change your hair to blond?"

"You need to explain this, boy."

Kai tried to calm them as he sighed to himself.

"This is going to be a long day..."

~~Two days had passed~

-Ai's apartment-

The sound of the TV can be heard across the living room. Ai and her twin children were sitting on the couch.

"I can't wait to see your performance, Mama!"

Ruby, now wearing a black hoodie with a small pink rabbit logo on it, said to her mother.

"Well, they did film me quite a bit." She responds with a smile.

"Here it comes." said Aqua as the TV drama played out in the scene.

"It's starting!" said Ruby as she pointed out the TV.

They watched it until the scene where Ai got filmed.

"Oh, this is the scene! Aww, it's Mama!" Ruby said excitedly.

"C'mon, give her a close-up!" said Aqua as the scene played out, revealing Ai talking to the MC of the drama.

As the scene plays out longer, a look of dissatisfaction can be seen on the twin. The TV drama suddenly ended as the news took over the TV screen.

"What?! That's all?!" said Ruby in disapproval.

"Just a bit of a single screen?!" This shocked Aqua, who was confident that Ai's performance was perfect. Why did they cut her scene way too much?

"They cut way too much!" yelled Ruby, now pouting.

"I wonder if my acting was bad..." said Ai confused.

Ruby turned around responded, "No, it definitely wasn't."

Aqua grabbed his phone and called Director and went to his room.

Ai patted Ruby's head as the news showed them the recording about the incident that happened in Tokyo two days ago.

This makes them curious as the reporter commented about the two Hero battling a man with a spiky hair and a green-humanoid alien.

"Mom, look! That's Kai" said Ruby to Ai, who nodded in respond.

"Kai, huh...I wonder when he will be back?" thought Ai. Lately, her mind was thinking about the Half-Saiyan after he told them about himself.

-Flashback-

-Ai's apartment-

Kai was blushing furiously. Ai sat beside him, tending to his wounds.

Ai had insisted on tending to his wounds even though he said he didn't need to.

Miyako had just taken them back to Ai's apartment. She had called his husband and told him about the situation too.

Ruby and Aqua just watched their mom finish bandaging Kai's hand.

"Nicely done!" Ai spoke proudly of her bandaging skills.

"This is too much..." Aqua sweatdropped after seeing Kai's hand wrapped fully. Even Ruby and Miyako sweated at the sight.

Kai seemed to not care too much as he was racking his brain about how to explain himself to everyone.

Beep! Beep!

Miyako went to the door and opened it, revealing her husband. Saitou entered the flat, and they went to the living room.

"So, Kai? You have something to tell me?" asked Saitou as he sat down.

"There's no point hiding it anymore," thought Kai. He started to open his mouth and tell them about his story and heritage.

"I'm a Time Patrol. A group of warriors that prevent history from being changed. I come from this timeline. After an incident that happened when I was just 4 years old, I was saved and raised by Chronoa, my adopted mother. I grew up in Time Nest, where it's the house of a giant building known as the Time Vault. It holds the history of the entire universe. Pretty much everything that has ever happened is written down in the Book of Beginnings and Endings."

Their minds were blown off. They didn't expect to hear about universe things and such.

"Ok, can we just skip the timelines or universe part? It sounds confusing." asked Saitou as everyone nodded.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Kai apologised and told them about Saiyans and his powers.

"What I use is called Ki, or life force energy." Kai explained as he made a small Ki blast on his palm.

"It's pretty!" said Ruby excitedly.

"Well, everyone can use it if they learn how to control it." This caught Aqua's attention.

"Then how about the golden-haired form that you've been using as Hero?" asked Ai. She wanted to know about the transformation. She had her suspicions about Kai being the Hero, and her suspicions are correct.

"It's from my Saiyan heritage. It's called Super Saiyan and is considered a legend. But one of my masters, Mr. Goku, was able to achieve it during a battle," said Kai as he turned into Super Saiyan effortlessly. His innate ability for perfect Ki control made it easier for him to master the form after he got access to it.

Everyone was awed at the transformation. Kai continued his explanation further,

"A Saiyan can achieve this state when they are experiencing intense rage or sadness. Mr. Goku was able to reach it after his friend was killed in a battle."

"So, how did you get it?" asked Saitou.

Kai's gaze darkened. The trauma of his past, the death of Ruby Rose. He still blamed himself for her death.

Everyone stared at Saitou, who had asked the question. Miyako whispered to his ears, "You shouldn't have asked that question.".

Saitou realised his mistake as he attempted to apologise to Kai.

But Kai said it first before Saitou apologised.

"I lost my friend."

This made them silent. Ai immediately changed the next question by asking Saitou about Kai's career in the entertainment world now that his identity had been revealed.

"As long as his identity is kept secret from the public, he can remain in the agency," said Saitou, making a statement that snapped Kai from his thoughts.

"Really?" asked Kai as he turned back to his base form.

"Yes," answered the president of Strawberry Production.

"Glad to hear it. I thought that I was going to get kicked from the agency," laughed Kai as he ruffled his hair.

"Now then, we'll be taking our leave," said Saitou as he and his wife stood up and walked out of the flat.

After they went out, Kai looked at Ai with a worried face. Ai was confused. She asked him what's wrong.

"Don't you... feel scared? I'm not fully human. It's normal for people to fear me." Kai confessed to Ai. A small laugh escaped her mouth.

"What are you talking about, silly?" Ai giggled, making him cock an eyebrow.

She cupped her hands on his face, staring at him with a smile.

"Ehkk?!!"

"Even though you're a Time Patrol or whatever, you're still my Kai." This made Kai gag a bit. His face was now a blushing mess. Ai couldn't contain her laughter anymore.

"Aww~ I just teasing you a bit~ Did my irresistible aura attract your blush?~" Said Ai with a teasing grin, making Kai flustered even more.

Ruby and Aqua only looked at the sight. Ruby was cackling, watching as Ai continued to tease Kai even more. Aqua smiled softly, seeing that Ai was wavering the Half-Saiyan worriness. She really has that positivity radiating towards everyone.

After the teasing ended, Kai told Ai he would be leaving this world for some time as he needed to get his watch fixed.

Kai stood up as he reached the door and told them goodbye.

"When will you be coming back?" asked Aqua before he stepped out of the flat. Ruby also wanted to know. Kai had been the one to spend a lot of time taking care of them when Miyako was busy.

"Don't worry, when I get back, we'll go to the theme park that you wanted to go to, ok?" Kai ruffled their hair as he gave them a thumbs up. Ai just smiled at Kai; clearly, her children had taken a liking to him.

"I should call him and tell him about the kids," she thought as Kai waved at them.

"Mom, are you ok? You seem a bit distracted," asked Ruby.

"Oh, it's nothing. Where's Aqua?"

"Here," answered Aqua as he was holding his phone.

"Now, let's go to sleep,ok? It's getting late," said Ai to her kids.

"Okay!" answered Aqua and Ruby.
