The Governor's Battle
Abigail Bones vs. Varis Malfoy
A week after school ended the Staff of Hogwarts found themselves face to face with General Jack O'Neil , the Texas Rangers and unknown to most three members of the American Branch of the Assassin Brotherhood, Chandler Arkwright, Grayson Roberts, and Memnon Perkins the sons of Arkeyan Sorcerers Cedric Arkwright, Giovanni Roberts, and Meyer Perkins respectively three of the members of the board of Directors of Statesmen and the Arkeyan Titans of Magical North America and needless to say, Chandler, Grayson, and Memnon were pissed off beyond measure but they weren't the only Arkeyans present. Thora Heaver wife of Edward's fireman, daughter of Tempest an Arkeyan Sorceress of the Air Element and Ares the God of War was also present along with a very attractive blonde woman who wore a medical uniform and lab coat with gloves that did nothing to hide her natural curvy and buxom figure.
"Okay before the Arkeyan Weapon Masters present decide to fry half of the staff which I personally think is way too much can somebody explain why we're all here?" Jackie asked.
"Basically, Lord Arcanon has been wreaking more havoc than usual," General Jack O'Neil spoke, "Our jobs have become even more difficult since Duncan's banishment despite Yzma having won her challenge. Walker care to explain."
"Thanks, General," Ranger Cordell Walker said before explaining, "Lord Arcanon has been eliminating loose ends in racist organizations such as Eagleton's and the Soldiers of the New Millennium. His dark magical army las eliminated anyone from said organizations and crime and drug rings who we captured or questioned. Everyone is too afraid to even be seen with us let alone talk to us due to his eyes and ears being everywhere in the shadows and the organization he leads has been terrorizing the planet including all of North America in the process."
"I've said this multiple times since we got here and I'll say this yet again," Severus said annoyed at being in a muggle base, "This is what happens when muggles like you go up against somebody like Arcanon. You have no idea what you're up against or who you're facing."
"Is he always like this or is he in a foul mood?" Trivette asked the Hogwarts Staff.
"Unfortunately, yes and it's gotten worse due to the foreign Malfoys coming into the picture," Aurea head of the Administrative office at Hogwarts spoke, "You should see how he treated the Gryffindors before Victoria Bathory arrived and the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws for that matter. The only ones that got any respect out of him were the Slytherins because he was their head of house before Yzma got promoted due to the mistakes that happened in the 2001-2002 school year."
"Tana already told us and showed us all that happened up to this point," Trivette replied, "She also sent Thora and Faith along to help with our cases and even sent Yzma along if some of the cases involved students from schools. Unfortunately, Lord Arcanon's been terrorizing the land and leaving the dark mark whenever he or anyone in his organization killed people."
"Then it seems a change of plans is needed and as much as I was going to let Aurea return to teaching or get the professor I had in mind it might be best to let Linus Lupin the 2nd take the lead for this coming school year and let Alastor Moody teach 4th year and above for the next," Yzma said, "Myra has already prepared a lesson plan on how the first four years of Defense Against the Dark Arts should go and it compliments my plan as this means I can move the counter jinxes and counter hexes over to the 5th year and above along with the advanced stuff."
"That's one less concern but are you sure that you don't need MEGTAF to deal with the forces of Darkness," Trivette asked, "Or get the Arkeyans for that matter?"
"The Arkeyan Weapon Masters have methods that I tend to disagree with," Albus said, "And they made it clear where they stood after the fiasco with Heather Preston after the forces of evil somehow gained 90 million in muggle currency and helped the only one who survived the kidnapping plot. The American Arkeyan Titans had to replace the money that Mr. Preston lost and needless to say they were pissed."
Walker, Trivette, Gage, and Sydney all knew that Lord Arcanon's evil knew no bounds and his flying battleship, his Shadowkhan armies, his Vehicon fleet and bridge technology made him nearly invincible and could understand based upon the information of his strength and power that they received why even the Arkeyan Weapon Masters were dead terrified of him.
Trivette rejoined Rangers Walker, Gage, and Sydney as they and General Jack O'Neil were talking about Yzma's challenge and the past cases they worked on. Alex and Mrs. O'Neil were present as well due to the situation and so were Trent and Carlos considering the latter two were members of the Brotherhood of Assassins.
"If we're going to take down Arcanon and the forces of evil my husband and I will need to know everything that's happened up to this point and to do that we'll need to know how the heck this fiasco began in order to help Abigail Bones prepare for the match against Varis Malfoy to keep her seat as Chair of the Hogwarts Board of Governors," Mrs. O'Neil said, "With that said, Who wants to share first?"
"I'll go first. Basically, it's a finger pointing match of whose fault it is. All the all the newly hired staff blame Minerva and Severus and so do the professors that teach an Elective course," Sydney spoke, "The rest of the staff all say that the blame for Kai Malfoy finding out and brutally attacking them and killing Hagrid is entirely on Yzma's shoulders not to mention the hospital visits."
"Basically, what Sydney is saying Walker is that the Arkeyan Weapon Masters were furious beyond measure after Kai told them everything and Rita skeeter leaked this to the entire Daily Prophet," Gage said containing front page articles of the fiasco of Harry's 1st year and the threat of total elimination at the hands of the Arkeyan Empire. "Aurea even has a vision of what the Arkeyan Weapon Masters will do should they decide to toss protocol out the window."
On cue Aurea showed the very same vision of what the Arkeyans would do should shit hit the fan. The vision showed Hogwarts the day of Filch being impaled and Abigail was the one who eliminated him before the Arkeyans killed all the professors who taught a core subject and Hagrid via impalement before destroying all of England and Continental Europe as punishment for Minerva's mistakes. The European ministries tried to fight back but they were no match as the Arkeyans wiped them all out and left little to no survivors. The Arkeyan Empire then turned their wrath to North America by burning all of Asia, Africa, Australia, and South America in the process to punish Yzma further for not accepting the role as head of Slytherin House and not leaving anyone to fill in as race marshal while she was away but the ICW and the GFMC followed. Determined to stop the Arkeyan Weapon Masters they fought alongside MEGTAF and the muggle military to save North America and the Earth. With each battle the Arkeyan Empire's wrath grew until finally their armies grew giant and their enemies were forced to retreat even as the empire slaughtered and impaled MEGTAF agents and all the relatives of MEGTAF agents in the process. It seemed that all of Earth would pay the ultimate price until the Kaiju Kingdom led by Belloc appeared. They were there to help the military of Earth. The Kaiju Kingdom went into battle with the GFMC and MEGTAF as they attacked the Arkeyan Empire's nearly infinite and seemingly invincible fleet and robotic armies but the Kaiju were not even breaking a sweat as Belloc easily finished the job which devastated the Arkeyan Empire by 52 percent and forced the Arkeyans to retreat and thus saved the Earth but at a terrible cost. The planet had been ravaged due to all the fighting and all of Earth had fallen into eternal darkness and a second ice age with rivers of blood flowing until the end of time and by the end the earth eventually suffered and died in the process.
"And that's not all," Gage added, "The Arkeyan Weapon Masters even tortured the staff that Kai brutally put in the hospital along with all of their dead ancestors and anyone who dared to get in the way."
Aurea presented another vision of the fiasco of what happened as half of the staff were paralyzed with total fear as the Arkeyan Weapon Masters vented all their anger, hatred, and rage upon all that had happened upon the people that had incurred their wrath. The Flight instructor and the hospital matron were suffering the same fate as well and it was worse for them. Yzma Milano was at a complete loss on what to do because she ran the risk of being next on the chopping block and to make matters worse Kai Malfoy and Fumi Malfoy were literally laughing at the entire scene via magical projection.
"The Arkeyan Empire is brutal and cruel without measure," Trivette said shocked, "I knew the people were afraid of the Arkeyans and I knew the Arkeyans were deadly but I didn't think they'd destroy an entire planet. This is worse than we feared and if everyone saw these visions somehow then it's no wonder that everyone's keeping their heads down out of fear of angering the Weapon Masters or worse those protected by the bylaws of the Weapon Masters."
"And if the Articles and the visions Aurea showed us are anything to go by then we are in for the fight of our lives," Walker said before speaking to the General, "General Jack O'Neil, based upon what we have seen thanks to the Arkeyan Empire's fury and Kai Malfoy telling the Arkeyans and winning not only his case against the staff who Lucius declared guilty in their hearings for the fiasco of the 2001-2002 school year but Lucius winning the custody case and getting protection from any action being taken against them and their activities with Arcanon getting that same protection for his criminal empire due to their alliance except from the red cells what are your thoughts?"
Everyone present waited for an answer to Walker's Question to the General.
"I say, how would you like to lead a Red Cell yourself, Ranger Walker?" General O'Neil replied. "Of your own choosing, of course, though I recommend you include a few magical and creature members to cover all bases. If this is the hand we've been dealt, then we play it to the hilt; Red Cells pooled from the best available of all our allies: Section 13, MEGTAF, the GFMC, the wizarding world, and mundane law-enforcement. I just finished speaking with King Belloc. Needless to say, he is PISSED at the disappearance of his son and heir. After I talked him down from going to war with Arcanon outright-which was EXTREMELY difficult, let me tell ya!-he's agreed to make his strongest kaiju available as 'one-man-red-cells' for missions that require absolute destruction of locations where there's no chance of collateral damage. He even volunteered himself!"
"I've got some candidates I'd like to suggest," Yzma said, "Nicolas Angel would be an ideal member to bring in as would Trent Malloy, Carlos Sandoval, and Alaric Bones. The Former Chief of Staff for the British Ministry of Magic. He lost his position to Yaxley thanks to Arcanon defeating him in an arena battle. "
"Thanks, General and thanks for the candidates in particular," said Walker, "I'll be sure to contact them."
"There's still the issue of the Igasaki Clan to worry about," Trent said, "From what I know that clan has protected Japan for over 500 years."
"And if rumors are true they have a grudge against the Arkeyan weapon Masters," Carlos added, "The cause of said grudge is due to the Arkeyan Weapon Masters having tortured the entire Igasaki clan for interfering in the way the Arkeyan Weapon Masters do business. Basically, Skeeter's style has the press thinking that the Igasaki Clan have been protecting enemies of the Arkeyan Empire. What are we going to do about this Walker?"
"If I were you Walker I'd leave the Igasaki Clan to deal with this on their own. They dug themselves into this mess they can dig themselves out of it," Aurea said, "I may be a Portal Master and a Dark Mage but I'm also an Arkeyan Weapon Master and Albus Dumbledore's cousin and I'm not about to risk incurring the wrath of my own people."
"So, what are you saying Aurea?" Alex asked.
"I'm saying that if you expect me to summon the Skylanders to help then you're fresh out of luck," Aurea spoke, "Not to mention Chandler, Grayson, and Memnon will slaughter the entire Igasaki Clan not to mention destroy all of Asia to further punish the Igasaki Clan should anybody from the Igasaki Clan mouth off to them further. Which means if you plan to do something about the Igasaki Clan's issues I suggest you do so before the American Arkeyan Titans do."
"No matter how soon we get there we may already be way too late," Aurora spoke up.
"Must you always be so negative Aurora," Yzma asked, "Or did you start recently?"
"The Igasaki Clan facing down the full wrath of the Arkeyan Titans?" Aurora remarked in a cynical tone, "There won't be enough left of the clan to fill an urn."
The Texas Rangers knew something had to be done about Aurora and the negative energy she was giving off and so did General Jack O'Neil before Arcanon found out. Unfortunately, the situation meant that a new member of MEGTAF was needed but they had a bigger issue to deal with before they could find the root cause of Aurora Sinistra's mood.
"At least we can take the fight to the forces of Darkness but who is to say that Arcanon won't simply have strategies or wards to warn him of anyone attempting to raid his bases?" Charity asked, "After that stunt with the energon mine and his insecticon destroyed at the hands of Myra thanks to the Energon harvester we better be careful. Arcanon's bound to retaliate and slaughter the red cell teams."
"If Arcanon is preparing to retaliate then we'll take him down just like we do to any other criminal organization," said Walker.
"Arcanon is nobody's fool," Severus retorted, "He slaughters muggle special forces and Red Cell teams for exercise and eats them and Arkeyan Weapon Masters for lunch. Basically, I'm saying that you don't stand a chance."
"And I hate to be the bearer of worse news but sending in the Kaiju is simply out of the question," Yzma said, "I asked the Arkeyans about gauntlet battles and the outcome of any as per one of my requests for winning my challenge and Arcanon trashed the governors in a gauntlet challenge the year before my challenge. The Arkeyans had to grant one request to the victor because he won the challenge and the request was that the Kaiju are barred from interfering with Arcanon or his operations until the end of Harry Potter's 6th year at Hogwarts and he also made it clear that any request to reverse it was rendered null and void. Basically, Arcanon has us cornered and we are screwed considering the entire media magical and muggle has been cursed to print the information the way the forces of darkness want it to print and that's not gonna change until Arcanon and whoever is backing him is eliminated."
"I can already picture the Howlers coming in after this mom," Elizabeth Moon the assistant Matron of Hogwarts spoke, "Not to mention the waves of negative energy that's bound to increase at this point. It seems our only hope is The Dragon Booster, The Crescent Booster, the Grand White Witch and a new Keyblade Master since the Igasaki Clan is pretty much dead meat at this point."
"Either way did Abigail get her package in time?" asked Yzma, "She'll need it to survive Varis Malfoy's full wrath."
"No armor in the world is gonna make a difference with the Rosenblatt Boy dead at this point," Severus remarked as the Staff headed to the Arena.
In the Arena where Christina fought Umbridge only for her to lose to Kai Malfoy, the ref for the match was about to introduce the combatants.
"Ladies and Gentlemen we have an Arena Battle today," the ref said, "In this corner he is the father of the most feared warlord on continental Europe, his reputation as the muscle of the Malfoy clan knows no bounds. Please welcome the strongest of the Malfoy Clan Varis Malfoy!"
Varis Malfoy entered the Arena wielding Varden in the scabbard preparing to make mincemeat out of Abigail Bones and make her pay for sacking his nephew and Silas McCullen as well as to terrify the staff of Hogwarts and the PTA into submission and make them kneel before the Pureblood Elite. The people held their tongues as Umbridge and those aligned to her all clapped and gave applause for Varis Malfoy which included the entire Dark Faction of the Ministry of Magic and the unmarked Death Eaters that were able to escape justice.
"And in this corner is the current Chair of the Hogwarts Board of Governors, the woman who gave Yzma her challenge, the woman wo stepped up to the plate as a real leader this year," The ref said, "Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Abigail Bones!"
Abigail Bones stepped out to the field with a sword of her own but the surprising part was that she was wearing armor much to the shock of Umbridge.
"Lucius I thought you said your benefactor made sure that filthy blood traitor never got her package," Umbridge hissed to Lucius and Kai.
"So did we but with the Dark Magic Spell Seal in place and permanently engraved around all of Hogwarts not to mention a new spell seal around the Ministry you'll know things that those who cross you know," Lucius said.
"And most importantly anybody who opposes or disrespects you by calling you toad, toad face or anything else is in for a very big and very brutal surprise," said Kai, "Considering the amulet that we gave you. Turns out it's a relic of the Chief God of the home world of those filthy monster girls. That amulet keeps whoever is wearing it from being affected by the monster girls and demonic energy. Not even a Lilim can get within 50 feet of the wearer without being crushed in the process."
"Excellent and when Varis wins Hogwarts and the Ministry will be cleaned," Umbridge smiled evilly and widely, "With the filthy half breeds being the first to go."
Varis and Abigail faced each other in the arena ready for the ref to explain the rules.
"Okay the rules of the match are simple," the Ref said, "The winner is the one who is able to render the opponent unable to continue the battle understood?"
"Understood and I'd like to invoke Mortal Kombat rules for this match," Varis said.
"Challenge accepted," Abigail spoke as she had full confidence in her armor.
"Then let the match begin," the Ref said getting out of the way as the battle began and Varis and Abigail drew their blades.
"Prepare to taste the full extent of my wrath! Dark Water Magic Strike!" Varis yelled as he slashed at Abigail Bones with the power of Dark Water Magic infused into the Varden hacking…into the Protego-coat spell charged through her kaiju-hide and mithril armor!
"WHAT?!" he roared in rage, having fully expected to finish her quickly. Then he saw them, glowing in the breastplate of her armor; the Charms of Bezel! Those six charms rivaled the Talismans of Shendu! But they were believed lost in another realm ages ago!
"I'm not done yet. Time to take this to the skies," Abigail Bones said as she took flight with the wings of Nova through a spell seal that appeared in the sky. "Spirits of the Ancient Vessels!"
"Bring it!" Varis said bringing Varden to block the attack. The torrent of Phoenix-Fire slammed into his shield like a freight-train, actually pushing him backwards. The power so greatly enhanced by the Charms that even he could feel the heat uncomfortably through his shield and the Varden! He panted for breath when the flames abated.
"I….actually felt that!" he growled through grinding teeth, then shouted in absolute rage, "A LITTLE TOO MUCH! AVADA KEDAVRA!"
As the killing-curse streaked towards her, she angered him further by smirking—SMIRKING!—at him as one of the Vessels intercepted it, taking the hit harmlessly for her!
"Vessels Attack!" Abigail yelled as she flew down behind the spirits of all the previous vessels for Nova the Phoenix before attacking only for Varis to block the attack and send her hitting the ground hard and breaking her back.
"Now you'll feel the full extent of my wrath! Dark Magic Blast!"
Varis blasted and shattered her armor in the process before blasting her on the spot to the point where she was on the edge of death and to make matters worse somehow the entire Bones family and all of their in laws and relatives felt the full force of that attack as they too were in critical condition.
"Abigail Bones is unable to battle," the Ref said, "The victory goes to Varis Malfoy."
Varis Malfoy spoke as he was now Chair of the Hogwarts board of Governors and was now in charge. He grinned maliciously as he reached to claim the Charms of Bezel…. Only for them to vanish! Hissing, he turned to those assembled watching.
"Listen up staff of Hogwarts I know you're watching," Varis said to the staff as they had to be present, "This is only a sample of my power. Should you dare cross me or my relatives I will beat each and every one of you so badly you'll need body bags to hold you!"
The Staff were all terrified of Varis' threats against them but Varis wasn't done yet as he addressed the other Governors.
"To the rest of the School Governors I'm the new Chair of the board for the upcoming school year so I'm in charge!" Varis said glaring at Christina Payson Carlin the hardest, "Should the Vice Chair dare to oppose me I'll do even worse to her and her relatives next!"
At that point the entire Board of Governors and even the Hogwarts PTA were terrified of Varis' full strength to the point where even they and Christina Payson Carlin were all terrified of the full extent of the Malfoy Clan and Arcanon's wrath. Varis Malfoy's power flared to where even everyone on the British Isles and beyond were terrified to the point of all resistance and defiance shattered completely letting him know he was dead serious about his threats.
"See that Cousin Draco," Armand said, "This is why nobody crosses me or my relatives."
"Oh yes Cousin Armand. Next year is going to be enjoyable considering that fat oafish sack of crap is dead," Draco replied. "And soon the filthy mudbloods and beasts will bow before us like the filth they are."
"Indeed, they will," Nathan added, "That half breed sack of shit deserved the thrashing he got and so did that Rosenblatt pest. Once the Dark Lord Rises all of Earth will bow to us."
The three cousins gave an evil and menacing laugh knowing that all would bow down to the glorious reign of the pureblood and magic only raised and nobody would dare to cross them ever again and all who did would die for their defiance just like all of Arcanon's enemies before him. But then, as they began to leave…
"Then be WARNED, 'Chairman' Varis," Margaret Rosenblatt said boldly, standing. "Do NOT overstep your authority, nor even ATTEMPT to turn Hogwarts into your personal cesspool of pureblood terrorism for the students. Or your Board will find yourselves 'Governing' a near-empty shell of a school with barely enough students to fill a single classroom! Because if, as parents, we feel our children are NOT safe or cannot learn properly there, we WILL pull our children from Hogwarts and easily enroll them in a far safer and more conducive learning environment. And if you think any 'educational decrees' will stop us, think again! I looked it up: our Gods-given rights to protect our children supersede ALL educational Laws! So That is EXACTLY what we WILL do! SO SAY WE ALL!"
Inspired by Margaret's words, the Hogwarts PTA and staff all stood and joined her, "SO SAY WE ALL!"
Varis glared even harder as did the entire dark bigoted Faction making it very clear that the PTA just signed their own one-way trips to the morgue knowing that the full wrath of the forces of darkness would be upon them and the PTA would die for daring to oppose them with the ringleaders at the top of the list already having been tipped off by Arcanon's mysterious benefactor about all the information that they needed to know.
"I'd say that our problems have only just begun and despite Aunt Margaret and her god given rights I have a terrible feeling that the forces of darkness will pound us even harder than before," Abigail Potter gulped terrified for her life, "And don't get me started on the Dursleys."
"We just have to stay strong and we will prevail," Daisy replied, "I didn't let fear stop me from speaking to aunt Marissa about how we were treated. Thanks to her she was able to get the help we needed to investigate the case. She helped us then and she'll help us now. We just have to believe in the forces of truth and goodness."
Daisy Potter didn't know it but her words would have a powerful effect upon the student body even though they didn't know it just yet.
