Prologue
Leo Wyatt was born in San Franscico, California on May 6th, 1924. The only child of Christopher and Maggie Wyatt. Raised in Burlingame Leo had attended Johnson High School until going off to college at the age of fifteen. As the war, that would be known as World War II, hit home Leo left school and enlisted as a field medic. Before leaving for basic Leo married his high school sweetheart Lilian on January 8th, 1942. Less than a year later after deployments Leo was promoted to Corporal. That October he boarded a plane for what would be his final deployment.
The Battle of Guadalcanal took a lot of lives and kept the field medics busy. November 14th, 1942, started out as any other day but soon became a date that Leo would never forget. As the day drew on the number of injured and causalities grew, and the medics couldn't keep up. That afternoon his friend Rick ran up to him carrying his injured brother, Nathan. After determining that Nathan's wounds weren't dire Leo left him in the care of another medic and headed out to the field to help. He hadn't made it far, however, when the medical tent exploded killing all within. After shaking off the shock of his best friends' deaths Leo pushed on to do his job. He couldn't afford to fall apart until after this battle was through. Not long after Leo was attending to a fallen solider when he felt a sharp pain in his head then saw nothing but darkness. Waking up he found himself in a white room surrounded by strangers in gold robes.
