Happy Birthday To You
Leo Wyatt sat and watched as his sons, Wyatt and Chris, slept. It had been a long and stressful week as the demon Zankou tormented his wife, Piper, and her sisters, Phoebe and Paige. With friends and innocents being targeted Piper was afraid for her family's safety. Because of this fear she asked Leo to take the boys out of the manor. So here he was hiding at magic school waiting to hear the fate of his wife and sisters in-law. His thoughts, however, were interrupted by Chris waking up. "Hey Buddy, what's wrong?" Leo asked taking Chris into his arms. Chris in turn snuggled up to him. "It's late you should be asleep." Looking at the clock he saw that it was after midnight. "Guess what it's your birthday. I'm sorry we couldn't celebrate this year, but I promise we will next year. I love you so much Christopher. You may have been a surprise but I'm so thankful for you. You are going to have a better childhood then the other Chris I promise and this time I'll be here." As Leo talked, he noticed that Chris had fallen asleep in his arms. Carefully he moved Chris back onto the bed and covered him up. "Happy first birthday Chris." He added kissing the baby on the forehead.
