She's The One
There was a lot about magic that still left Leo in awe fifty-eight years later. The fact that it existed for one but also being able to save a life within seconds, which marveled anything he had seen in medical school. The biggest thing, however, was the fact that he died fifty-eight years ago. It was hard to see himself as dead when he felt so alive. He still had breath in his lungs, he still felt pain, he still interacted with others, he just didn't age. Magic made that all possible. Magic also made meeting his fiancé possible. Piper Halliwell, a young witch, had agreed to marry him. Magic was about to give him something else, a chance to talk to his parents again.
Arriving in a white room 'up there' Leo found himself face to face with his parents for the first time in almost sixty years. "Leo?" his mom, Maggie, asked surprised. "I never thought we'd see you again. "She cried pulling Leo close.
"I've missed you both so much." Leo admitted leaning into her embrace.
"We are so proud of you." His dad, Christopher, said pulling him into his own hug once Maggie let go. "You have done so much good with your life." he added confusing Leo.
"Did you think we weren't watching over you?" Maggie asked jokingly.
"You're okay with me being a whitelighter?"
"Of course, we are. You are helping others. How could we be mad?"
"I take it you're up here because of that young girl." Christopher teased.
"Piper and I are getting married."
"Can angels even get married? You are technically dead."
"We are performing a magical ceremony so we can get around that fact."
"A magical ceremony? But you're Catholic."
"When I was alive, I was but whitelighters don't really practice religion. Please be okay with this. I don't want to upset you but I'm marrying her regardless."
"I'm not mad at you. You're my angel, literally. I'll always be happy for anything good in your life." his mom promised rubbing his cheek.
"If this girl makes you happy then that's all that we care about. We will be happy to have a new daughter in-law."
"Thanks Dad, thanks Mom. I should get going I'm not allowed to stay too long. I love you both." Leo begrudgingly informed them giving each another hug.
"We love you too." his mom said vanishing.
"And we are so proud of you." his dad added also vanishing leaving Leo alone.
