Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans.

"BOOYAH!"

Beast Boy let out a cry at the top of his lungs as he leapt into the main room of Titans Tower, his arms raised above his head. His green face had been covered in white paint while a flashing red ball sat on his nose. A pair of sharp fangs stuck out from the smirk he directed to his yellow superheroes, escaping them to jump out of their skin and scream with terror.

Not a single sound of fear came out of the other Teen Titans.

Robin stared.

Cyborg gaped.

Starfire blinked.

Raven kept her back turned to Beast Boy.

Even Silkie remained fast asleep in his basket.

Nobody was showing a single hint of being afraid of the young shapeshifter in his killer clown costume.

"What're you doing, Beast Boy?" Robin frowned.

"What does it look like?!" Beast Boy lowered his arms as he stared at his teammates. "I'm trying out my Halloween costume!"

"That's what you're going as, BB?" Cyborg scoffed, unimpressed. "A clown?"

"Of course!" Beast Boy grinned as he posed in the moonlight that was shining down on him like a spotlight through the tower windows. "Scary, ain't I?"

Robin and Cyborg glanced at one another - before bursting into loud laughter.

"Scary?" Robin chuckled. "Silly is the word for your costume, Beast Boy!"

"You needn't have bothered dressing up as a clown for Halloween, man," Cyborg howled, "seeing as you act like one every day of the year!"

Beast Boy's smile disappeared, replaced by a down over the degrading comments his friends were making about his costume.

"I thought the clowns were supposed to be comical," Starfire remarked innocently. "Not fearsome."

"Comical? Fearsome? It doesn't matter which Beast Boy is going for," Raven murmured cynically. "He fails miserable at being both."

"Oh be quiet, Raven!" Beast Boy huffed. "Just admit you think I look scary!"

"Scary?" Raven uttered. "I know scary, Beast Boy - and you are not it?"

"Then why ain't you turning around to face to me?" Beast Biy smirked. "You don't wanna face me looking terrifying tonight, is that it?"

"I'd rather not face you any night of the year… But if it's ferrying you want, Beast Boy, this is how you do it…"

At that moment, the young gothic girl swung around - to reveal she had a menacing scowl on her face. Her teeth were clenched a fierce growl passed through them. Though her hood was pulled over her head, it was clear to see her eyes, shredded in shadow, were glowing an eerie shade of red.

"Eeeeeeeeek!"

Beast Boy squealed like a little girl. He had never seen Raven look so terrifying. The shapeshifter's body shrank down as he transformed into a small green mouse. He scurried away in fear, not wanting to be anywhere near the half-demon that night.

Satisfied that she had managed to frighten the shapeshifter who always got on her nerves, Raven pulled her hood down from her head. A smile crossed her face turned towards the other titans. Robin, Cyborg and Starfire were all. The three of them were surprised as how she had easily managed to freak out Beast Boy - as well as impressed.

"Now that," Raven declared proudly, "is how to be scary!"
