Accomplice
One Month Ago, One Day After Yang's Death.
Two Officers of the Vale Police Department enter a building about a block away from the new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Palace restaurant after the residents next door made a noise complaint. Officer Dunn and Officer Matte Looney look at each other holding their hands near their guns on their belt as they walk through the hall. They couldn't hear anything, and the place was dark and hard to see anything. Officer Looney turns on his flashlight to see better only to be confused by the sight of old furniture covered by plastic wrap. The air was dusty and made it hard to breathe. Officer Dunn reaches into his pocket pulling out his inhaler, and using it effectively making a lot of noise.
Officer Looney looks over to Officer Dunn with a look of anger. "Why not try being louder?" Looney suggests sarcastically.
Dunn frowns in confusion. "Wouldn't that be a bad thing?" Dunn asks.
"I was being Facetious." Looney retorts. Then suddenly the two heard crying coming from a nearby room. Both officers draw their pistols before dropping into a combat stance silently listening. They step slowly and carefully towards the sound of crying. It sounded like it was coming from a woman. They soon found the door the crying was coming from, unaware of two glowing silver eyes watching them from directly behind the two officers. The officers carefully enter the room, checking their corners carefully as they did so, and saw a woman with black hair and yellow eyes. The woman was a Faunus with black cat ears. The woman was beaten, and her hands were chained to the wall. Across from her sat a massive yellow chicken animatronic. It's eyes were missing, and blood oozed from various openings of the animatronics body. Dunn had to surprise a gag, and Looney cringed with disgust. Looney looked between the animatronic and the woman before walking over to the woman.
"I'm Officer Matte Looney ma'am, we're going to get you out of here." Looney says as he begins messing with the woman's restraints. "What's your name ma'am?"
The woman nods lightly. "Kali Belladonna." She introduces.
"Alright Kali, can you tell me what's going on?" Looney asks, grunting as he tries to pull the restraints open.
"My daughter..." Kali sobs lightly, lowering her head. "He got my daughter."
Looney grimaced. So a kid was involved. "Where is your daughter ma'am? Do you know?"
Kali nods, and Looney stops to look at her. She gestures with her chin to the Chicken Animatronic. "He put her in that."
Looney looked to Dunn who was shaking. Dunn hesitantly approached the animatronic, before peering through the animatronics eye hole only to see a small set of dull yellow eyes, blood stained black hair, and cat ears. Dunn immediately turned away and threw up. Looney cringed, but didn't say anything to reprimand his partner. Then Kali gasps. Looney looks to her only to see her wide eyed with fear, looking behind him. Looney wirls around aiming his gun only for it to be swatted out of his hand.
Looney froze as he saw his attacker. Looming over Looney was a tall yellow rabbit with silver eyes that glowed in the darkness. It wears a purple bowtie, and it's exaggerated smile made it all the more terrifying. The rabbit laughs darkly before shoving a knife into Looney's gut, grabbing him and holding him close as he turned to Dunn using Looney as a human shield. Dunn turns to face the attacker with fear, shooting his gun twice without paying attention, hitting Looney in the pelvis, and the skull killing his partner.
"Looney!" Dunn shout out with fear, guilt, and confusion as the yellow rabbit closes the distance. Dunn fires two more shots, but the Rabbit shoves Looney's body into Dunn, knocking him to the ground. The yellow rabbit then kicks Dunn's gun away, before crouching down and punching Dunn in the face, knocking the Officer unconscious.
The Yellow Rabbit then looks to Kali who sobs and begs for mercy. The yellow rabbit laughs darkly again before approaching. "No one will save you now." The yellow rabbit says, he then turns to look to a dark corner of the room where a set of yellow eyes watches. "Load up the Officer, I'll get the woman." The male figure nods giggling as his yellow eyes shift to purple. The yellow rabbit turns to the woman again. "You'll be a good subject for my next experiment."
Current Day, Rose/Xiao Long Home
Taiyang sits in the bedroom holding Summer's yellow Fred plush. Taiyang couldn't help but stare at it, his eyes wet with fresh tears as Yang's gruesome death plays in his mind on repeat. He should have saved her. He was her father so why couldn't he save her? Was he not good enough?These self destructive thoughts plague his mind over and over.
Then Taiyang heard the door open slowly. Taiyang closed his eyes not caring to look. It was probably Qrow anyways. Then... suddenly Taiyang felt two sets of small arms wrapping around him from both sides. Taiyang opens his eyes to see Ruby on his left, and Charlie on his right. The two held him close, trying to comfort him. Taiyang couldn't help but let more tears shed as he holds them close crying while they had a group hug.
"Millie went home dad." Charlie informs in a soft tone. Taiyang nods, not trusting his voice to respond.
Mistral, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza
Jaune and Yatsuhashi laugh as they play an arcade game together called Huntsman Kombat. On the Screen was two of the characters, both representing true Huntsman or Huntresses who had lived to fight the Grimm. Some of the characters were even voiced by the real people such as the character Jaune was playing as, The Grimm Reaper. Yatsuhashi was playing as an old Huntsman named Hanzo. Where Jaune relied on mashing the buttons, Yatsuhashi relied on memorizing and mastering the combos.
"I'll get you this time!" Jaune says with passion.
Yatsuhashi laughs. "Nope! I have the high ground!"
"You underestimate my powers!" Jaune declares. Then almost immediately after, he lost due to his character getting kicked in the head. "Oh..."
Yatsuhashi chuckles patting Jaune on the back. "You'll get better eventually." Yatsuhashi says supportively.
"You really think so?" Jaune asks.
Yatsuhashi nods smiling. "I know so."
That's when a man in a security uniform walked up to them. The man had yellow eyes and what looked like a kind smile. "Enjoying your time here kids?"
Jaune and Yatsuhashi turn to look at the guard with smiles. "Yes sir!" They say together.
The guard then gives a look of interest. "Would I be correct in assuming you two are Jaune and Yatsuhashi?"
The boys look to each other in concern. Why did the security guard know their name? They then look back to the guard and Yatsuhashi asks the guard a question. "Are our parents looking for us?"
The guard chuckles lightly. "No no, nothing dramatic." The guard assures. "I'm just letting you know that you two were selected by the owner of the restaurant to get exclusive access to the extra show backstage."
"Extra show?" Jaune asks curiously. "What kind of show?"
"A show with one of our franchises first characters." The guard says.
Yatsuhashi felt nervous about this. He felt like something was off, but looking at Jaune, Yatsuhashi knew Jaune didn't seem to be doubting anything about this. Yatsuhashi frowns.
"Why were we selected?" Yatsuhashi asks.
"For starters, because it's Jaune's birthday or so I was told. As for you young man, you were selected because you appeared to be Jaune's friend. The owner hoped to let you two enjoy the show together." The guard says.
Yatsuhashi looks to Jaune who shrugs smiling. "Okay!" Jaune says happily.
The guard gives what seemed like a kind smile, his yellow eyes flickering purple for a moment. 'Oh how easy it was' the man thought. The owner would certainly be pleased, and there would certainly be a show.
