It was a wonderful and peaceful day in the world known as Toonatopia. What's that? You never heard of Toonatopia? Well, to put it in simple terms, Toonatopia is a world where cartoons characters also known as Toons we all know and love live together far away from The Real World or as some people know it as "Animated Earth". A long time ago, all of the worlds such as Disneyville, Cartoon Network City, and the Kingdom of Nicktropolis used to live in their own barriers far away from each other and were told not to cross the barriers no matter what. However, something had happened. Something changed. It wasn't supposed to be this way, but somehow, various cartoon characters found themselves stranded and in strange, different worlds not meant for them almost like in some sort of alternate Toonyverse crossover. I'm getting ahead of myself... We now begin with two children known as Macy Lagario and Vincent Morris who were sitting in the back of a car with their mothers sitting up front, going to drop them off somewhere. Macy and Vincent have been best friends for their whole lives since their parents were good friends with each other which is what led to this Toonyverse over 20 years ago.

"I still don't see why we have to learn on a Saturday." The blonde boy Vincent complained.

"Yeah, Mom, can't we do something for the weekend like all kids do?" The black-haired girl named Macy added.

"Now, now, this will be fun, you guys, you'll see," The brunette woman known as Daisy Belle reassured her daughter and her daughter's best friend. "Besides, it's important to learn more about your heritage while you can and not just be educated five days a week at school."

"Yeah, 'cuz school is punishment enough." Vincent huffed and smirked.

Macy chuckled a bit.

"Vincent Howard Morris, don't you use that tone with us." The blonde woman named Veronica warned her son.

"Sorry, Mom." Vincent muttered nervously.

"It's not fair though," Macy complained. "Why do we have to learn about history anyway?"

"Well, my dear, you know what they say," Daisy Belle reminded her daughter. "Those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it."

"Besides, this will be good for you to know more about where we all came from and why and no one's better for the job to tell you other than Weasel himself." Veronica added.

Vincent and Macy just glanced at each other as they continued to ride in the backseat, not sure if their mothers knew what they were talking about. Eventually, after a little while longer, they came to a stop in front of the Toonatopia retirement center known as Nostalgia Acres which was where great Toons of the past come to relax and reflect on the good old days. Rumor had it that the greats such as Betty Boop and Bugs Bunny were here at times.

"Well, this is your stop, dears," Veronica said as she looked at the backseat as the car came to a stop. "Just try to enjoy this program, okay, dears?" she then told them.

"Okay, Mom..." Vincent sighed.

"Yes, Aunt Veronica." Macy added.

"Now be on your best behavior and we'll see you kids in a couple of hours." Daisy Belle reminded the kids.

"Yes, ma'am." Macy and Vincent replied as they climbed out of the car together after unbuckling their seatbelts.

Veronica and Daisy Belle smiled at their kids before waving at them as they began to drive away for now.

"Man... there they go..." Vincent sighed and groaned. "We may never see them again."

"We're not going to die, Vinny." Macy reminded her friend.

"We might as well today," Vincent shrugged. "We're going to die of boredom when we could be having fun on a Saturday morning."

"Yeah..." Macy rolled her emerald eyes. "Well, we better get inside. No use griping about it right now."

"Come on then." Vincent replied.

The two soon went to come inside to meet the other kids and who was going to host them for the afternoon. They could already tell that this was going to be a huge waste of time.

A blonde woman soon stepped over to see them, surrounded by a bunch of other kids that Vincent and Macy knew. She appeared to be dressed like a tour guide, though she had a nurse's hat on her head. "Oh, yes, you must be part of Saturday's tour group," she then said to them. "May I know your names?"

"Vincent Morris." The blonde boy said.

"And I'm Macy Lagario." The black-haired girl added.

"Ah, yes, of course, your names are right here," The woman nodded as she took out a clipboard and checked their names off her list. "Welcome to the Toon Museum! I'll be your tour guide, Miss Loulabelle." she then introduced herself to them.

"Yay." Vincent and Macy scoffed together.

"Follow me, kids, the tour is about to begin, Loulabelle told them as she began to lead the way along with the rest of the child group she already had with her. "Now if you don't mind, please follow me." she then added.

"Sure..." Macy rolled her emerald eyes.

"Why would we mind?" Vincent added cynically.

The other kids were also heard griping and complaining as they followed Loulabelle inside.

"I know, I know, a Saturday tour group isn't that exciting, but this is important for you all to know and the sooner you guys get it over with, the sooner you can go back home to do the things you enjoy," Loulabelle told them with a friendly smile. "This is important for you all to know for the history of Toonatopia. Isn't that right, my dear?" she then asked the anthro weasel who came beside her.

"Yes, that's absolutely right, my dear, Loulabelle," Weasel nodded. "For once upon a time ago, there was no Toonatopia." he then added to get the kids' attention.

The kids looked over, looking curious and thoughtful about the idea of there being no Toonatopia since that was their home.

"Welcome, children, I'm sure you know who I am," Weasel greeted warmly with a smile. "I am Weasel for those who don't know." he then added.

"Hello, Mr. Weasel." The kids greeted in monotone voices.

"Yes, it's a very lovely day in Toonatopia, but would you believe that once upon a long time ago there was no Toonatopia?" Weasel then continued before asking them a retorical question which would be a surprise to the youngsters involved on this weekend field trip.

"What're you talking about, man?" A boy named Kaden Steer scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Sure there's a Toonatopia!"

"Where else would we all live?" A second girl known as Ariel Rodriguez who often went by her initials added since she was tough and brutal like her mother.

"Well, yes, in general, there was a Toonatopia, but we were all divided and you all wouldn't have born if it wasn't for The Toon Savior who helped our animation nation." Weasel explained.

The kids whispered and muttered together.

"The Toon Savior?" Vincent wondered.

"This sounds like a fairy tale." Macy commented.

"I'm sure it does sound like a fairy tale, but it's all true," Weasel nodded before he brought them over to a podium to show a very special book behind a glass case. "Behold, a very special and important book to our world known as 'The Tomus Animatius'." he then informed them.

The kids then struggled to repeat that name, especially a boy named Thunder Jackson.

"Without this book, we all wouldn't be here right now," Weasel explained as he put on a pair of rubber gloves, then typed in a security code on a keypad, then the glass opened, allowing him to take the book. "This book is very old and important to our culture."

"So it is a dumb old fairy tale." Dylan Mazinsky scoffed.

"No, no, it's all true like I said," Weasel dismissed and clarified as he took the book. "Why don't you all follow me into the next room and I'll tell you more about the story of The Toon Savior and The Lost Animation Nation?" he then prompted them.

The kids then followed behind Weasel and Loulabelle since they really had no choice in the matter. Vincent and Macy just looked like they were ready to escape, but they were caught by IR Baboon who was in charge of security who pushed them toward Weasel and Loulabelle's direction. Macy and Vincent griped at that, but they soon came to see what the big deal was.

"Now then, are we all comfortable? Good..." Weasel said to them as he cracked open the book, clearing his throat as he sat in what looked like a throne. "'Once upon a time, there was a place where the cartoon characters (or Toons for short) that the real world know and love lived. The planet was mostly divided into two major continents, one for Toons that starred in full-length animated films and for the other Toons that starred in their own animated series and these continents were divided into countries based on animation companies such as The Disney Dominion. Among these continents are several islands, peninsulas, and other various land masses for Toons that belong to other types of media. For instance, The Isle of DotCom is where Toons on the internet live, such as those Happy Tree Friend characters'."

The kids grimaced and shuddered about the Happy Tree Friend crew.

"You see, we were once all divided a very long time ago, about 20 years ago until a Toon Savior was born," Weasel continued to explain to them. "We all started somewhere and had to go through a trial period to see if we were worthy to become stars such as The Powerpuff Girls stopping Fuzzy Lumpkins from turning The Mayor into a pile of meat or Cow saving her brother Chicken from the hands of The Devil when he took up a nasty smoking habit."

Suddenly, an intelligent girl raised her hand.

"Yes, Mariah?" Weasel called on her.

"Was this Toon Savior from our world?" Mariah wondered.

Weasel chuckled. "Well, she desired to be apart of our world and has had many, many, many adventures of her own, but alas she was from the real world," he then explained. "You see, she was born with a deep passion and attachment to cartoons in her time and she would become the one chosen to save us... You see, it started 20 years ago..." he then said as he flipped the page to show a simple looking house that belonged to a certain perky goth.

Cherry Butler was at home, relaxing with her TV on. It was a month after a certain adventure she was given about the war between werewolves and vampires and meeting a woman known as Selene. She decided to take it easy for a while and just relax with the cartoons she grew up loving from early childhood to her current years now. "Hmm... which one to watch next?" she then pondered as her current cartoon ended and she seemed peaceful... until...

POOF! Drell soon came into the room where the perky goth was and seemed to have an important book in his hand.

"I knew this wouldn't last long," Cherry sighed to herself before she faced the warlock. "Okay, what's the problem this time? Did Jafar escape from his lamp? Is there trouble in Equestria?" she then asked him.

"No, no, in fact, there's a new mission that only you can handle." Drell said to the young perky goth.

"Color me intrigued," Cherry remarked. "So what is it?" she then asked.

"You must go and help the world of cartoons and only you can do it," Drell said as he handed Cherry a book as she began to look confused. "These are the people you have to help out."

Cherry took the book and flipped through the pages curiously before she noticed a pattern in the people she had to help out. "These all look like cartoon characters like Dexter and Dee Dee, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog..." she then noted.

"Exactly," Drell nodded. "See Cherry, you weren't just born under a prophecy to go on various adventures to help people you meet and what you have to do to help the adventure play out, but you were also born as The Toon Savior." he then explained to her.

"Toon Savior?" Cherry asked. "This sounds like a really bad TV show right now."

"Well, it's true and it's very important," Drell said to her before he poofed up a projector along with a slideshow, showing various pictures, such as the world of Toonatopia. "This is Toonatopia, it's a lot like Earth, in fact, some people call it Animated Earth where live the people and animals we see on television and motion picture screens."

"Impressive." Cherry nodded.

"They say that a very special child with a close attachment and special love for these cartoon characters would help them in their time of need and some of these characters ended up lost from their original world into a different cartoon world than they were supposed to end up in," Drell continued to explain, showing Cherry when she was a baby and watching cartoon channels like Cartoon Network for the first time. "I thought this would be an easy adventure for you, especially with what you went through last month with Selene."

"Yeah, I sure could use something easy," Cherry nodded. "So, what? It's my destiny to help give these cartoon characters their proper endings?"

"Yes, and some other characters ended up where they don't belong and that's why you'll also need this." Drell said as he gave her a remote control that was glowing.

"This kinda looks like the remote that Timmy Turner used when he decided to run away into the world of television when he had the last straw with his parents about Vicky." Cherry commented.

"It is in a way, but you have to pause certain characters that don't belong in the world they end up in as these will be slightly different from what you remember and then erase them when it's time for them to go," Drell replied. "Some missions you might need to repeat and you don't need to really worry about any of these characters."

"What about this one?" Cherry asked cynically as she opened the book to show a page of a certain pink possum she wasn't really fond of.

"Ah, right, The Pink Possum... yes, watch out for him," Drell had to admit and nod in agreement. "He's so crazy that I think he belongs in Arkham Asylum. I met him with Skippy a while back... Good thing we both have health insurance." he then added and shuddered.

"Well, thanks, Drell, I guess this will be an interesting adventure," Cherry commented as she collected the TV remote and the handbook known as "The Tomus Animatius". "I don't think I can do all of this alone though."

"Very well, you can bring one friend with you for this mission, but choose wisely and good luck," Drell told her. "Just turn on your TV with that remote when you're ready to begin. Good luck, Cherry. Only you can save The Animation Nation from being erased from existence."

"By the way, no pressure?" Cherry guessed, rolling her eyes.

"No pressure," Drell nodded before waving her off. "Good luck."

"Thanks," Cherry said as she waved back at him as he began to leave before looking through the book she was given. "Well, this should be an interesting adventure... but who should I bring with me?" she then pondered.

Cleo soon mewed as she came up beside Cherry, rubbing up against her leg and then licking the back of her paw.

"Hmm..." Cherry pondered in thought as a new adventure was about to begin for her.
