Flying outing

"Sev, Sev... it's ten to six," Ariel said while he shook him gently by his shoulder.

Sev woke up and thought, I also have to bring the magical alarm clock from the Haven, now that I'm going to have to sleep at odd hours. "Oh… Thanks for letting me know in time, because I have to get dressed and talk to you a bit."

"Have you rested well? Are you feeling better?"

"Yes, honey, much better," he gave him a kiss and got out of bed. They both began to dress.

"Before you said that something hurts you, that's why we went to the Infirmary, right?" the little one asked.

"Yes, but don't worry, it's gone completely. Have you read your book?"

"Yes, the first two chapters. They deal with how science arose in antiquity."

"And isn't that too advanced for third year?" Sev asked.

"Yeah. It's a fifth grade syllabus, but since you showed me the stars I've been very interested in the subject. Astronomy was the first science to be developed."

"Wow, I didn't know. Let's see if now with the Time Turner I have more time to read and learn things that have nothing to do with magic, because I know almost nothing, I'm very ignorant."

"Don't say that, Sev, you know many things. If you want, when I'm done with it I'll leave it with you, so you don't have to take it out of the Library."

"Okay thanks."

"I reckon I'll finish it in a week."

"Brilliant. I have to ask you a question," the older boy said. "On Monday I have an appointment with Albus to go to all of us who are occlumancers to learn a new magic that he knows and wants to teach us. The five of us are going to use my Time-Turner together while we're in class."

"Whoa! Is it possible?"

"It is. He has extended the chain."

"Oh…"

"What do you prefer? Go with Albus before or after school?" Sev asked.

"If we go before school, will it be at night?"

"I don't believe it. I guess we'll go three hours or so. If we go back from nine o'clock it will be six, which is already daylight."

"Of course, it's true, now the sun rises very early. So better before class, to be fresher," Ariel decided.

"Great, I prefer it too. I'll tell the others, let's see what they think. When Jack and Anthony come we are going to go away for a little while, I have to go look for something in my secret place."

"Oh... are you going to show it to them and not me?"

"No, honey, I'm not going to show it to them, they're just going to accompany me," Sev explained. "I'll take you later, when it's safe for the two of us to walk around the castle alone."

"Okay, Sev. And when are we going to be with Lily?"

"We can't yet. There are some bad guys left at school, two at her House, and if they find out we're together they can hurt her."

"Oh, what a shame," the kid lamented. "I thought that we were going to be able to be all together. I miss her, I really like her, and also Cecile and Remus."

"And they like you, Ariel, they love you very much, but we must have a little more patience, maybe until next year, when the bad guys from their House have left."

"Jo... still until September..." Ariel was really sad. "It's a long time to go."

"Maybe we can meet in the summer. Lily and I can Floo from my house to Jack's to visit you, and I'm sure Cecile and Remus will join us too. They also have Floo in their houses," Sev reassured him.

"Sure… it would be great."

"We'll talk about it, don't worry for now."

His two friends arrived and Jack asked him, "Are you ready? Deborah is downstairs waiting for us and it's not so much trouble in the Common Room or in the dungeons anymore."

"Brilliant. It's hard for me to control people, they are putting me in trouble," Sev answered.

"Yeah, typical. You know how we Slys are."

Sev picked up his empty backpack. "Let's go then."

"Sev, can I wait for you here until you come back?" Ariel asked him. "That way I continue with my book."

"Of course. Don't you have to study or do your homework?"

"I already did it all yesterday."

"Well, then enjoy," Sev said. "Later we'll be together for a little while and you'll tell me what it is about."

"Okay, see you later."

They left the dormitory, and passing through the Common Room, now almost empty, they walked through the dungeons to the stairs, the four of them. They went to the third floor to go up to the seventh one through the passage.

Once they were in it, Sev took the opportunity to talk about the subject of Monday. They decided they would do it before school. He also told them, "I am going to enter the Room of Requirement alone, because it is a request that only I know about and it must continue to be so for the moment, I hope you understand."

"Sure, Prince, no problem," Deborah told him.

"I would appreciate it if you would stay watching in the direction of the Gryff door, which is where some danger can come from." (So Jack doesn't see what the door to the Espionage Room looks like, smaller than the door to the Classification Library,) Sev thought.

"That's how we'll do it, don't worry," Jack himself replied.

So they did. When they reached Barnabas's portrait, his escort took a few steps forward in the direction of the Gryff house, keeping their backs to him. Sev paced and demanded the 'Espionage Training Classroom'.

He came in. Surprise. Lauren was there, sitting at the table, studying the book. They waited for the door to close behind him.

"Whoa… what are you doing here?" he asked her.

"Are you asking me that?" laughing. "Hiding from the whole school and making sure that no one can enter the room so I can sleep here tonight and tomorrow."

"Oh… Give me a hug."

She got up and gave it to him.

"And you? Why did you come?" Lauren asked.

"For the book, I must study it with Albus urgently. One of the Horcruxes contains the Resurrection Stone and he knows where it is. He has been tempted to go for it because he lost his entire family when he was young, in very unfortunate circumstances. I'll tell you in more detail later, but the fact is that I must avoid him doing it alone at all costs, it's a ring and he was thinking put it on. He can be cursed and die."

"He already knew that it was a Horcrux?"

"He didn't," Sev replied. "And he knows of at least two other objects and one more place where they can be found, and I have come up with two more. We'll talk about everything more calmly on Monday in class, I have a lot to tell you. Now Jack and the others are waiting for me outside."

"Sure, Severus, go."

"Wait a prudential time to go out again."

"Yes, don't worry, I won't do it until dinner time," she said. "While you were having lunch I stocked myself well in the kitchens for the whole weekend, and I had lunch by the pool in the Room. Meanwhile I will continue studying the Mental Arts books that are here. There are many others that appear in Red Magic. Projection, Bond, Tracking... it's real gold mine."

"Wow… I had't notice. When I have come it has only been to study the Horcruxes in depth."

"Of course, normal, with all the trouble you've had."

"And now even more," he said. "He's given me a Time-Turner, and I think I'm going to have to use it every day for the next week."

"Ugh… I'm so sorry."

"Yes, Lauren, you've gotten me into quite a mess," he laughed. "I've spent the five hours with Albus thinking about you.""

"Ugh, I'm so sorry," making a sad face.

"No problem. Can you give me another kiss?"

"Of course."

They kissed again for half a minute, just with their lips, like in the morning.

"I love you."

"Me too."

"Until Monday, gorgeous."

Sev stuffed the book into his backpack and left the room, the door disappearing behind him. His Guard remained with their backs to him.

"That's it. To the fifth floor, by the main staircase," Sev ordered. "Nobody is going to dare with all four."

They formed up, Sev leading, Deborah and Anthony flanking him and Jack bringing up the rear, all four of them with wands in hand. They walked past the Gryff portrait to head down the stairs. (There's my other love, and she sure is unreachable right now,) Sev thought.

Going down they met some Gryffs and Raves who were returning to their homes. Everyone greeted them, even if it was with slight gestures that they returned. They reached the fifth floor, which was deserted as usual, and he led them into the windowless corridor, so they couldn't be seen from the main one.

"Wait for me here, let no one pass. It is important that no one discovers this place."

He went alone to the Haven. I've only been here once since before Easter, a fortnight ago, when I came to brew the potions. When he entered his heart sank. When can I come back here with Lily? I'm already about to cry.

He got over it by looking at the view for half a minute from the window. He then went to the cupboard where he kept the potions and took all the vials, both Stimulant and Restorative, and also the magical alarm clock. Which Cecile gave me when I didn't know her yet.

He left and retraced his steps, they headed back to the dungeons, the Common Room was once again half full. Those who have gone to Hogsmeade have already returned, and on the table in front of the window there is everything in abundance, as Lily predicted. It is full of bottles and food from the kitchens. How are we going to get. Wow…

"Hey, Prince," this was the one who had asked him for the Time Turner. "You've escaped again. We were waiting for you to start."

Sev burst out laughing. Ugh… If we start at half past six in the afternoon, by ten o'clock I'll be dragging myself, with the effect of the painkiller potion and the lack of habit of drinking alcohol. And besides, I haven't touched this week's homework, so I'm going to lock myself in for at least another hour, until Jack comes back from warning the other Houses at dinner, to tie things up. I will do my homework bydictation in my bedroom.

"You can start without me, I still have to do things, I haven't touched this week's homework, so all yours. I prefer to join when you have already gotten in tune."

"But come down soon, don't make us wait too long…"

Ugh… the fourth year girl. I'm sure she's been waiting for me here all afternoon. "Have you done your homework?" Sev asked her.

"I have half left, but I'll do them tomorrow."

"You have to apply yourself, Defense is the most difficult OWL," he scolded her. "And the syllabus of the three years enters."

"I already knew."

"Well, don't rest on your laurels, we have to be prepared for what is coming. Not everything is fighting, you also have to take the rest of the subjects." (And learn Occlumency, Ancient Magics and curses, booff…)

"Sure, Prince, I'll do it." She gave him an intense look from her beautiful brown eyes, transmitting deep acceptance of the reproach he had just made, and a bit sad for it too.

(Oh... she likes me a lot. Maybe she had already noticed me before all the trouble, if she wanted to be a good warrior. And I like her too, she's gorgeous. Well, if I fall into her trap tonight, one day it's one day, as Lily says. I won't get past kissing.) "In little more than an hour I will go down, at dinner time."

"Great, Prince. I'll take the opportunity to study for a while."

How cute. He smiled at her. "See you later."

He went upstairs with Jack and Anthony to their bedroom.

"You have her crazy, huh?" Jack told him.

"Yeah, what a responsibility, and I have a feeling that she's not going to be the only one."

"Surely not. Well, I go up to my bedroom."

"Take advantage of this time to move if you want, I'm going to go to bed to do my homework by dictation," Sev said. "I'm going to have to take Stimulant to take away the sleep that the painkiller gives me. I've already lost count of the potions I've taken in a single day, and tomorrow I won't be able to fight."

"Damn Gryffs. When will be the revenge?"

"Not at the moment, Jack. This time the rumor has not spread through the school and it is not convenient to make enemies again with the lions. We are going to wait a while, until we have really won over the warriors."

"Of course…"

Anthony and Sev entered their bedroom. Here is my little one waiting for me. "How are you, honey?"

"I'm already halfway through the third chapter, which talks about the Greek civilization," replied Ariel. "Pythagoras, who made a lot of progress in Geometry, and Aristarchus, who measured the size of the Earth."

"Wow, how interesting. I'm looking forward to reading that book, but now I have to do my homework for a while. Will I bother you if I do it by dictation?"

"You won't, Sev, don't worry. I concentrate well," the boy replied.

Anthony returned that time to the Library. Jack moved his trunk and settled into one of the beds farthest from the two of them, and Sev did his homework for three subjects.

As Jack was leaving Sev said to him, "Stop by to let me know when you're done with the messages and we'll go down to the party together."

"Brilliant."
