By the time Brooke re emerged downstairs. Everyone had left but Lucas. His gaze on her now.
She stared back at him. "Peyton was tired and announced she was taking a nap." Brooke explained.
"Yeah she naps alot these days. This pregnancy is taking alot out of her." Lucas replied.
"Are you going to explain to me. What's really going on?" Brooke asked.
"What exactly are you talking about?" Lucas asked.
"In a few months Peyton will be giving birth and no one thought to find me and tell me. Why is that.?" Brooke asked.
"You're the one who left town. Basically cutting off contact with us all but Peyton. Yet you want to be included in what's going on in town. That's kind of self involved isn't it.?" Lucas questioned.
Brooke glared at him. "So i left for no reason?"
"Did you forget what happened?" Brooke asked.
"So you were only one hurt. Confused.?"
"I loved you. You know that."
"I was a kid. I didn't know how to handle things properly." Lucas replied.
"I didn't come over to talk about the past. None of that matters now." Brooke replied.
