Chapter 12: Kennywood Phantom Fall Fest

The next day, we all met up at Kennywood Park for the annual Phantom Fall Fest. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. While jamming out to NSYNC and 98 Degrees, we composed a Childhood Chat in which Emma Wallace discussed doing different activities in the spring and summer of 2012 at 11 years old in the eastern suburbs, Madison Dayley discussed doing different activities in the spring and summer of 2013 at 7 years old in the city of Pittsburgh, Jessica Linden discussed doing different activities in the spring and summer of 2014 at 13 years old in the western suburbs, Elizabeth Mosh discussed doing different activities in the spring and summer of 2020 at 19 years old in the northern suburbs, and Isabella Black discussed doing different activities in the spring and summer of 2021 at 14 years old in the southern suburbs. "Arranging flowers in Sewickley was a lot of fun when I was in middle school," Carly stated. "Except this time, Elizabeth was in her late teens," Spencer pointed out. "Probably much older than the other boys and girls at the time," Mr. Benson stated. "I enjoyed having our dance party in Sewickley last month, even with my broken arm," Carly stated. "I like when Isabella described breaking a pinata in Upper St. Clair," Alex pointed out. "You guys are partially like her class but not until the Christmas holiday," I told them. "I can't wait to see what kinds of games they have at the carnival at the country club," Justin stated. "If they have a pinata game, then it would be cool," Max agreed. "The last time I was at an official party at the country club was celebrating my friend's Sweet 16 birthday," Alex remembered. "Maybe, we will have another activity in Upper St. Clair this fall or winter," Alex stated. "Like looking at the stars!" I rode the Skyrocket with Max, the Thunderbolt with Alex, and the Phantom's Revenge with Justin. Then, we met the rest of the group at Open Body Buffet for a group dinner. While jamming out to Kate Bush and Lizzo, we composed another Childhood Chat in which Natalie Bay discussed eating popcorn in 6th grade in Bloomfield, Rachel Luster discussed having a Netflix binge session at 2 years old in Highland Park, Taylor Paulson discussed laying on her fuzzy pillow in 8th grade in Lawrenceville, Victoria Spurnick discussed eating gummies in 9th grade in Morningside, Emily Grey discussed taking a group photo in 2nd grade in Point Breeze, Hannah Mifflin discussed having a pillow fight at 12 years old in Regent Square, Grace Luster discussed selling and drinking lemonade at 11 years old in Squirrel Hill, and Jennifer Preager discussed dancing to music prior to 12th grade in Stanton Heights. "I feel like girls of all ages love me for my good looks and sensible charm, and they are all probably the same age as Sybil was when she became my girlfriend for a little bit and I felt pressured trying to have a picture-perfect school picture that I almost felt sick," James stated. "I felt sick trying to get Benedict to like me in my school picture," Sarah agreed. "But, Angel and I did our best to help you out," Henri remembered. There was lots of good food at the buffet, including hors d'ouerves like raw veggies, cheese, meat, and crackers, delicious main courses like hoagies, wraps, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and spaghetti, and scrumptious desserts like cookies, cupcakes, and pudding. We even took a group photo in the restaurant. After dinner, it was time for all of us to go home. "Thanks for a great evening, guys!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
