Author's Note: Hi there. Sorry for the long wait. I know everyone wanted to see the next chapter to this, so I hope it was worth the wait.

Before you read this, I'd like to take a moment to make a little announcement. As you know, I am in the middle of three new superhero crossover series: the Young Avengers, the Defenders, and the Teen Titans. Well, some time ago, thanks to the help of my friend MajorBrony95, who was a big help in making this, I have decided to make a fourth series that I call the Spider-Nick series.

The Spider-Nick series, inspired by the Spider-Verse, will be made up of different versions of Spider-Man crossing over with Nickelodeon shows. A couple will center around versions that you're familiar with like the original Peter Parker. Others will center around completely original versions.

Before you ask, I'd just like to point out that the Spider-Nick series will have ABSOLUTELY NO relation to the much older Spider-Verse series. In fact, it's going to be a separate series, one that'll have an endgame fanfic like my other superhero crossover series.

Below are the Nickelodeon shows that I'm going to cover in my Spider-Nick series...
*TMNT (2012)
*Glitch Techs
*Legend of Korra
*Danny Phantom
*My Life as a Teenage Robot
*Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
*El Tigre

Hope you're all looking forward to it. I know I am. I will begin this series sometime in November.

Anyway, enjoy the chapter. See you all later. Any and all comments are welcome.

"Okay. Got my coat. Got my gun. Got my badge." Said George Stacy looking over himself. "Am I forgetting anything?"

"Your keys." Gwen said. She tossed the car keys across the living room and they landed right in her dad's hands.

"Thanks, sweetie." George said. "You sure you're going to be okay while I go on my first night on the job? I might be all night."

"I'll be fine, Dad." Gwen assured.

"All right, kiddo." George said. "Just be sure to stay responsible. I left fifty bucks on the counter in case you're hungry."

"Thanks, Dad. Love you." Gwen said as she waved him goodbye.

"Love you too." George said as he left the apartment and closed the door behind him. As soon as he left, Gwen looked outside to watch his car drive away.

"Perfect. And when the dad's away, the spider will swing." Gwen said. She headed to her closet to pick up her Ghost Spider costume. Once she put it on, she leaped out the window to begin her patrol.

Across the streets of Metropolis, Ghost Spider swung from building to building keeping an eye out for trouble. So far, she found and thwarted a couple of minor crimes. Purse snatchers were stopped in their tracks, carjackers were pulled away and left for the police, and high-speed drivers were forced to park by her webs.

After all that, Gwen decided to take a seat on the edge of a rooftop. She rested herself and took in the view of the city.

"You know, it's times like this that make you forget to notice the little things that you love about Metropolis. You just have to bask it in and take it all."

All of a sudden, Ghost Spider heard the sound of rubber burning on nearby rooftops below. She looked down noticing a motorbike jumping from one roof to another. Seeing it, she just sighed and readied herself.

"Guess the basking is over. Back to work."

Ghost Spider shot a webline and swung herself down to follow the wild vehicle. She couldn't get a clear view of the driver, but she already knew that whoever it was, they were good. She followed them to a street where she saw them moving their bike from around slipping in between cars that stopped at a red light.

She thought she had them at the red light, but as soon as it turned green, the person on the bike drove away at top speed and turned the corner. Ghost Spider followed them trying to get to a drawbridge that was pulling up. Suddenly, much to her surprise, the bike spontaneously whipped up a pair of rockets at its side without warning. They fired the bike over the bridge and sent it flying further into the city.

"Who is this guy?" Ghost Spider asked. "Well, whoever they are, I don't think they have a permit for that."

Ghost Spider went double-time to follow the flying bike, which stopped hovering once it was over the city. It plummeted down, but Ghost Spider finally caught up to it. She fired a net made of web right below the bike and watched it bounce inside. She finally caught the bike and its driver.

Ghost Spider landed on the net to confront the driver. "All right, buddy. I get that rocket bikes are the way of the future, but that's no excuse for…"

"Gwen, wait! It's me!" the driver pleaded removing her helmet.

"Babs!" Ghost Spider gasped recognizing her red-headed friend in her purple bat cowl. "What the heck, girl?!"

Ghost Spider shot a webline onto the bike and gently lowered it out of the net and onto the street where she talked to Babs.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to confuse you!" Batgirl apologized. "There was a crime in progress and I needed to answer it!"

"So why were you driving like a maniac?" Ghost Spider asked. "Rooftops. Drawbridges. The narrow spaces between cars at stoplights."

"Well… I guess I'm… hiding." Batgirl scratched the back of her head in nervousness.

"Hiding? From what?"

"From them!" Batgirl pointed before hiding behind a nearby trash can. Ghost Spider turned to a car with two middle-aged men inside. They drove by without noticing the two superheroes. She recognized them both.

"Wait. Isn't that my dad and your dad? Why are you hiding from them?"

"Well… I'm kinda hiding from my dad." Batgirl confessed. "I kinda ditched him on father/daughter night to handle this caper."

"But why are you hiding at all? Your dad doesn't know you're Batgirl."

Batgirl was silent for a moment before laughing nervously. "Oh. Right. I guess I just wasn't thinking."

Ghost Spider sighed. "All right. What's going on?"

"There's been a break-in at the Metropolis Pesticide Plant." Batgirl explained.

"All right. I'll go." Ghost Spider said. "But let's stay on comms, okay?"

"Deal." Batgirl said getting on her bike.

While Batgirl was driving down the streets of Metropolis, Ghost Spider swung above her staying within range so they could talk.

"So what's that about you ditching your dad?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Right. Well, my mom's working late, so my dad and I stay at the house watching Princess Pumpkin Pants. It's kind of a tradition for us. Though, lately, it's kinda smothering. Suddenly, there's a call on the old Bat Phone, so I answered in my dad's voice. Can you believe it? I actually talked to Batman!"

"Whoa! Focus!" Ghost Spider said. "You intercepted your dad's private equipment and impersonated him just to talk to Batman?"

"No, you don't get it. This caper came from Batman. He said one of his enemies made their way to Metropolis and he wants help to take care of them. If I manage to beat them with him, I can finally be noticed by Batman!"

"Okay, but are you sure you're up for it? I mean, Gotham's home to a few nasty monsters. Killer Croc. Solomon Grundy. The Joker."

"I know, but this might be my only chance left to impress him and maybe be a part of Team Bat. I almost had it years ago, but Robin stopped me and made fun of me."

"Yeah, I never understood that Robin kid." Ghost Spider said. "Why is he even Batman's sidekick?"

"Right! I mean, he's not even on brand!" Batgirl shouted.

"I was actually talking about the part where he's a twerp with a bad attitude, but that too."

"The point is, being Batman's sidekick has always been my dream. I've looked up to him ever since he started fighting crime in Gotham. And now, I'm fulfilling a favor that came directly from him. I don't want to blow it."

Ghost Spider stopped swinging for a moment to think. Once she was done, she kept following Batgirl. "All right. Well, I suppose it's better for us superheroes to handle this villain than let our dads be put in danger. And in the end, I'll let you take the credit."

"Thanks, Gwen. You're the best. Ooh, we're here!" She stopped her bike at the open entrance of the pesticide plant's parking lot. "And Batman's not here yet. Score!"

Batgirl reached in her basket and pulled out a little Batman plush. "He won't believe his eyes when he shows up and we've taken care of it."

Ghost Spider landed right next to Batgirl as she hopped out of her bike. She noticed the Batman plush and stared. "Uh, do you really think it'll intimidate them to carry that doll?"

"Excuse me. Bat-Mite isn't a doll. He's da bomb!" Batgirl declared.

"Oooookay." Ghost Spider said.

Ghost Spider and Batgirl watched each other's backs as they explored deeper into the plant's abandoned hallways and laboratories.

"All right, villain. Show yourself." Batgirl dared.

All of a sudden, the building started to shake and a crack formed in the ceiling. And from that crack, thick, green vines sprouted. More vines came from the floor and across the hallways in the corner too. They attempted to strike at the girls, but Batgirl threw a set of batarangs that cut them down.

"Guess Mother Nature's cranky today, huh?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Look out!" Batgirl shouted leading Ghost Spider into one of the labs. The vines followed them in and tripped them.

When the two looked up, they finally came face to face with the mastermind behind the killer vines. It was a redheaded girl with green skin and leaf-like clothes. She sat on her vines like a queen sitting on a throne.

"Uh… Welcome to Earth?" Ghost Spider asked.

The green girl scowled. "I'm not an alien."

"Really?" Ghost Spider asked. "Sorry, the green skin kinda threw me off."

Batgirl gasped. "That's Poison Ivy! She has the power to control plants!"

"Yeah. I kinda noticed." Ghost Spider said swatting at a vine that started to creep toward her.

"So you're the latest bat wannabe." Poison Ivy said. "Well, it looks like I'll have to start with the small fry before dealing with Batman when he comes around. Babies, put them in the ground!"

Ivy sprouted a pair of Venus fly traps that attempted to snap at the girls. Batgirl extended a staff to defend herself while Ghost Spider flipped upward to avoid her trap. It chased after her around the room.

"Hey! I'm supposed to be the one who eats vegetables, not the other way around!"

Poison Ivy growled. "How dare you talk about eating Mother Nature's gifts? I should have known you were just like the rest of humankind!"

Ghost Spider was quickly caught in a vine that wrapped around her body and started squeezing. "Ah! Was it something I said?"

Ghost Spider's fly trap hovered over her about to eat her, but Batgirl swung her batarang and decapitated it freeing her in the process. Once they were down, Ghost Spider and Batgirl made their way swinging out of the lab.

"Sorry, but we gotta make like a tree and leaf!" Batgirl shouted.

Poison Ivy gave chase to the hero girls and followed them to the factory floor. They ran past the large vats of pesticide and made it to a plant nursery where many potted plants sat at tables underneath heat lamps.

"Ghost Spider, you gotta distract her while I light the Bat Signal!" Batgirl cried out.

"All right!" Ghost Spider yelled as she zipped over to where Ivy was coming from. She came at her fast enough to land a kick at her knocking her off her vines. Thankfully, for Ivy, she landed safely on the vines that rescued her.

Poison Ivy raised up several vines and launched them at Ghost Spider who used her acrobatic skills and web-slinging skills to dodge them. She never rested or hesitated to avoid getting caught.

"So what brings you to Metropolis, greenie? Job transfer?" Ghost Spider asked.

"You could say that." Poison Ivy said trying to hit Ghost Spider said. "You see, I tried to save Gotham from becoming a toxic cesspool, but it's lost. Nothing green will ever grow there again. I can still save Metropolis though."

"So you decided to head over to the greener side of the grass, huh?" Ghost Spider asked.

"The only green side, you mean." Poison Ivy said. "Metropolis used to be a vast, quiet forest before humans came and cut down all the trees for every concrete abomination that sits today. The skyscrapers. The parking lots. The malls. The restaurants!"

"Hey, you clearly haven't tried the ice cream at Sweet Justice." Ghost Spider said. "It's to die for."

"Speaking of dying…" Ivy said finally catching her in a vine and throwing her back into the plant nursery right behind Batgirl. "I will destroy ever last pest in this city. Humans are vermin in the garden of life. Locusts. Termites. Cockroaches! Why, look at you. You even bear the moniker of a spider, a real enemy of plant life."

"Hey! I resent that! Spiders don't eat plants!" Unsure, Ghost Spider turned to Batgirl. "Do they?"

"Some do." Batgirl answered desperately shining her Bat Signal flashlight into the starry night sky. "What's going on? Where's the Bat Signal?"

Poison Ivy used her vines to knock the flashlight out of Batgirl's hands before pinning her and Ghost Spider to the wall. She chuckled getting closer.

"That light only works in the polluted skies of Gotham. Nothing can spot me, not even a couple of silly girls in costumes."

"Well, usually there's more, but they're out on their own thing." Ghost Spider said. "And by the way, 'silly girls in costumes'? Have you looked in the mirror lately?"

Poison Ivy growled again. "I'm going to enjoy crushing you both!"

At that moment, something fell out of Batgirl's bag. It was her Bat-Mite plush. Poison Ivy picked it up and smiled. "What's this? You brought your dumb, little dolly to fight me? You're even sillier than I thought."

"He's not a dolly!" Batgirl said with determination. She then threw more batarangs to cut her and Ghost Spider free from their entanglements. "HE'S DA BOMB!"

Batgirl jumped and swiped her plush from Ivy's hands and pulled on its string. Its eyes then turned red and started beeping.

"Wait. Batgirl, is that…"

"NO TIME, SPIDEY! GET ABOVE GROUND!" Batgirl shouted throwing her plush into a nearby vat of toxic pesticide.

Taking her friend's cue, Ghost Spider leaped up to stick to the ceiling. All of a sudden, a great explosion erupted from inside the chemical vat firing a cloud of toxic chemicals across the plant. Every plant that took over was instantly killed leaving Poison Ivy in a weakened state.

"My darlings." She said sadly over her weakened plants. "What has she done to you?"

Suddenly, she was caught in the back by Spider-Gwen's webs and forced up to the ceiling. Ghost Spider caught her and strung her up in a cocoon made of web as she passed out.

"Not bad for a 'silly, little girl' and her 'dumb, little dolly'!" Batgirl called out from afar.

"So let me get this straight." Ghost Spider said once she and Batgirl made it to the parking lot outside with the unconscious supervillain behind them. "When you said that plush was 'da bomb', you meant it was an ACTUAL bomb?"

"Yeah. I built it years ago for emergencies." Batgirl said. "And it looks like it paid off."

"And you just keep it lying around in your room?" Ghost Spider asked. "Man, I've heard rumors that Batman's a little nuts. If that's true, then maybe you are a better fit for him than Robin."

"Aw. Thanks." Batgirl responded.

Suddenly, a car was heard driving into the parking lot. Bright headlights lit up onto the two heroes.

"Batman!" Batgirl said excitingly. She smiled until she saw who really came out of the car.

"Mr. Gordon. Mr. Stacy." Ghost Spider said. "Sorry. We heard Batman was coming over and…"

"Yeah, we heard too." George said. "Though, it looks like you already caught our supervillain."

Just then, Gordon's phone began to ring and he answered. "Hello, Batman."

"You take that. I'll secure the crook." George said taking Poison Ivy to the police car.

After Batman's inaudible mumbling, Gordon replied, "No. Don't worry. Everything's been taken care of."

"By Batgirl." Batgirl whispered.

"Yeah. That's right. Ivy's in custody."

"Thanks to Batgirl."

"So you don't need to come."

"To see Batgirl."

It was too late. Gordon hung up his phone already.

"Hey, it's okay, Batgirl." Ghost Spider said. "You're still pretty cool to us."

"She's right." Gordon said. "In fact, I wonder why you're not Batman's sidekick. I always thought he was way more capable than that Robin twerp. He's not even on theme."

Hearing that, Batgirl smiled proud to be his daughter, even if she can't admit it out loud.

"Yeah, they're related." Ghost Spider said under her breath. "Well, if that's all, I…"

"Wait!" George called out stopping her. "Listen, Spider Woman… Or Ghost Spider, or whatever you want to call yourself. Can I say something?"

Nervously, Ghost Spider turned to face her dad. "Uh… Yeah? Sure."

George sighed. "For a long time, I really thought you were to blame for what happened to Peter Parker. I wanted to arrest you as soon as you showed your masked face again. I was even more sure after you disappeared in New York. But seeing you here, saving the city with all your new friends, actually made me more hopeful than ever. We used to work pretty close together."

"You have no idea." Ghost Spider said.

"And I'd like us to do so again." George continued offering his hand. "What do you say?"

Under her mask, Gwen smiled. She then shook her dad's hand. "Of course. I'll have your back if you have mine."

Suddenly, Ghost Spider's head rattled on the inside. Her instincts kicked in and she quickly looked around.

"What's up?" Batgirl asked.

"Something's wrong." Ghost Spider said. "GET DOWN!"

Immediately, everyone dropped to the ground. Just then, a cloud made of sand flew in from out of nowhere and punctured right through the police care. It came out the other side carrying Poison Ivy on top of it. It then disappeared around the corner. When the four of them followed, they completely lost sight of it.

"What happened?" George asked. "Was that sand?"

"Oh, yeah." Ghost Spider said getting a familiar thing. "And I only know one person who could do that."

"Oh, boy." Gordon said. "Do me a favor. Don't mention this to Batman."

As soon as she woke up, Poison Ivy found herself in a dark sewer. She was laid on the concrete side beside the filthy river that flowed. Realizing where she was, she jumped up and looked around in a panic.

"What is this? Where am I?" she asked before noticing tiny particles on her shoulder. "What's this? Sand?"

"Don't worry. I didn't get sand in your daffodils."

Poison Ivy turned to find Sandgirl slouching on the sewer walls. She still wore her mask and her outfit as she reached out her hand. The sand that was on Poison Ivy's shoulder got pulled back towards her like a magnet.

"What is the meaning of this?" Poison Ivy hissed. "Who are you?"

"Someone who's looking for a thank you for saving you from police custody."

"I could have gotten out on my own."

"Sure, you could. Look, Audrey 2, I didn't help because I cared. I helped because I was told to."

"Told you? By whom?"

"By me."

That last voice was a third voice. Poison Ivy turned once more to find Dr. Octopus hovering over her with his mechanical tentacles. He gently set himself down in front of her to meet on equal footing.

"You… You wanted to help me?" Poison Ivy asked. "Why?"

"Because I need your help." Dr. Octopus said. "I heard you were new in town. So how would you like a new group of friends to get you started?"
