Chapter 58: Normal Days Again
August 4th.
Cattleya and Selene weren't here with us. We were talking to Blitzø outside of his work building. He was pumping gas in his truck.
"So, Astrid's in Sloth recovering?" He asked us,
"Yeah." Lars replied, "So now we don't have to worry about her hacking us anymore."
"Or at least exposing us." Willow said,
"Well, you guys aren't bad after all for a couple of delinquents." Blitzø said,
"Anyways, now that we're done with that, what's next?" Boris wondered,
"I don't fucking know. Why don't you guys chat with MM or something?"
"The rapper or the candy?" I wondered,
Everyone looked at me.
"...What?" I wondered as I realized something, "Wait, it's the couple that works for you, right Blitz?"
Blitzø face palmed.
"Something's up with you, kid." He said, "You think differently."
August 5th.
I was with Baxter as we were doing experiments.
"You know, the Phantom Thieves have been real quiet lately ever since the internet here was hacked." He said,
"Yeah…" I said,
"Wonder how they are doing… They do want to change the way we see Hell after all… But Lucifer is in the way…"
"How can you tell?"
"Just a feeling. Security has been increased recently. Which is why you don't see any riots going on lately."
"I see…"
August 6th. I was with one of the workers for I.M.P, Moxxie. He was an Imp from Greed, which is all that he told me.
He and I were shopping for food for himself and his wife, Millie. He also wanted to make something for me and my team.
"Thanks for helping out." Moxxie said, "I sure hope you're not as much of an asshole as my boss."
"Ehh, I can be confused around here." I told him,
"Heh heh, glad you're honest, kid."
Moxxie and I shared a laugh as I looked at a list he had made.
"You know you can just write this down on your phone?" I told him,
"I only want to use my phone to call for Millie in case something bad happens to me." Moxxie said,
"I don't blame you. She does seem like your protector."
"Only for every chance I get for my sweet Mills…"
"Glad you two have a bond."
"Appreciate it. By the way, if you ever get a chance to chat with her… …please don't piss her off."
"She's from Wrath?"
"Yes."
"I'll try my best…"
"Thanks, Ren."
"Anytime."
I'm starting to appreciate my company with Moxxie.
Fast forwarding to a few months later. Bernie was still interrogating me.
"Someone must have had excellent cooking skills to energize you and your team." He said to me, "What ingredients did that individual use to make something special for you and your team?"
I was silent.
"Give me a name!" He said to me,
Back to the present moment. A voice spoke to me.

Moxxie and I have formed a bond together. This is one of the few bonds that I'm ok with.
Moxxie then stared down for a second.
"Well, let's continue our little trip." He said, "What do we need to get next?"
"Oh!" I said as I was dozing off,
August 6th. I was in my room in the Hazbin Hotel as I was texting with my friends.
"How's Astrid doing?" Cattleya asked,
"Decent so far." Selene replied, "She had a psychotic breakdown and was seeing things, but the doctors gave her a special medicine to try and calm her down."
"Good. I'm still worried sick about her."
"Same for us." I said,
"By the way, Astrid has been eying on me for quite a while." Selene said, "When I visit her from time to time, she usually looks at me differently."
"Oh! Does she like you?" Cattleya wondered,
"Uhhh, why do you ask?"
"Just asking! Besides, if she's your type, I'm not gonna stop you from confessing your feelings to her."
"You do have a point…"
"Anyways, once she's feeling much better, how about we check on her?"
"Sounds good to me." Lars said,
"I'm down to visit." Boris said,
"Maybe we can buy her something." Willow said,
"We can buy her something together then." Lars said, "All six of us."
"Right!" Cattleya said,
"By the way, do you guys think that Astrid can be useful for our team?" Boris wondered, "She can view weaknesses from enemies."
"That's… I'm still trying to think about it. I'll see if she has any opinions on it."
"Fair."
"So, Ren, how have you been doing?" Cattleya asked me,
"Fine. I've made some bonds here and there." I replied,
"Good to hear."
