Percy blinked as he stood before the Olympian council, unsure if he had heard them correctly.

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" He asked Zeus whom glowered down at him.

Lady Artemis, one of the Olympians that favored Percy most, came to his rescue. "I'm sure Percy Jackson was not being rude, father. He was just simply shocked at what you said. He has a right to be, the very idea of what you proposed has never happened before."

The lord of the sky settled at his daughter's assurance. "I see. Well, Jackson, I will repeat myself. We wish to send the minds of you and Miss Chase back to your younger bodies to right some wrongful deaths."

Percy then turned to look at Annabeth, hoping she could make sense of this. He was shocked to see she was as lost as he was. Athena stepped in, thankfully.

"We will drain a small amount of each of your essences, you will not notice the lack. We will send that to another universe that is further back in time than we are now. The Percy and Annabeth of that world will be replaced by the memories and personalities of these versions of you, to help with your mission."

"I don't understand, mother." Annabeth admitted, which for her must be like telling your mother you failed a test. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders and she snuggled into my warmth. "How will doing this change things in this world?"

Hermes chose this moment to join the conversation. "Ah, it would not directly. Those saved would exist over there and not here. However, we found by sending champions to aid another universe, we can buy time for this world to recover from the many recent battles. No monsters or other beings will be allowed out of the Underworld for the time that you are aiding the other world. In addition, since you will still exist in this world, you will be able to enjoy the benefits. At minimum, you would have four years free of monsters as the great prophecy is fulfilled, maybe five given the Prophecy of Seven."

This was almost too good to be true. We would be able to have four or five years of peace as we attended college and started our lives in New Rome.

"There has to be a catch." Percy said as he caught the eye of each Olympian.

"There is, my son." Poseidon sighed. "You must not let the gods of that world know you are from another time period. If they knew you were meddling, it could lead to trouble. So your changes must be small and not world shaking. So that means, you will have to watch Luke die a second time."

The news of this punched him in the guts hard. He had mixed feelings about Luke, he knew Annabeth did too. To know he would have to hand him the knife and let him end himself again would be torture. However, if he could save Bianca, Zoe, and many others, he know the only answer he could give.

"Just to be clear," Annabeth cut in, always the fastest thinking of our dynamic duo. "We will take all of our memories back with us?"

The gods all nodded. Aphrodite was the one to speak. "Yes, you will know everything and will still possess the same feelings for each other. The other me may be suspicious but give her plenty to gossip about and she will be too districted to cause trouble."

Percy sighed, knowing they were going to have to go through with it. "What must we do?"

Zeus snapped his fingers and two phials of pink liquid appeared before the heroes. "Drink these tonight before bed. You two will enter a dreamless sleep. Two sets of Percy and Annabeth's will emerge. One set in this world, and one set in the other. Brother, Daughter. If you wish, you may bid that versions of your child goodbye. I expect to see this worlds versions at the next Olympian brunch. This time, Jackson, do not hide in a serving cart."

Percy blushed deeply. He wondered who had ratted him out to Zeus. Annabeth went to speak to her mother as Poseidon approached him.

"Percy, I know I've been a terrible father. However, I am so proud of everything you have done. I know you will make the other me in the other world proud as well. If you allow it, I wish to give you a means to speak to Annabeth if you two must work separately in that world."

Percy smiled and nodded gratefully. "Thank you, dad. That is the greatest gift I could ask for."

His dad smiled and placed a hand on Percy's arm. A small basin appeared right below his legion tattoo. "This will leave you and travel to the other world. There is a chance the tattoo will go as well. After all, you swore a life time of service to the legion. All you need to do is fill a basin with water, salt water works best but any will do. If Annabeth has a similar basin near her, you will be able to speak her name and a connection will be established. You can then talk without worry and the message cannot be interfered with like an Iris Message."
Percy reached out and hugged the sea god. "Thanks, dad. I appreciate it. He smelled the sea as his father hugged him back.

He had told Annabeth about the blessing from my father. Her mother had only given her some advice and not a blessing so was a bit jealous. Percy had asked what the advice was but his girlfriend had just blushed and told him it was girl stuff and not to worry about it. He shrugged, he trusted her and if it was really important she would have told him. They got into bed together that night and drank the phials.

"I want you to know, before we wake up twelve again, I love you Percy Jackson." She confessed as we felt the potion start to take effect. "No matter what age we are, as far as I am concerned, we are in this together."

He smiled. "I admit, I was a bit worried about Luke. But I trust you and love you too, Annabeth. We can do this, the two of us together as a unstoppable team. Waiting two months to hold you again is going to be agony."

She grinned as her eyes began to droop. "I'll try not to die of boredom until you come find me. Seaweed Brains, call me as soon as you can get your hands on a bowl of water."

"I will. I swear on the River Styx."

There was crack of thunder as they two fell asleep together. They would wake in the morning, still snuggled together. But a small amount of them would wake up alone, more than six years in the past.

I have been reading a lot of redo fics lately and am surprised at how few there are for Percy Jackson. So I am starting one that will be added to my update rotation, when I get back to it lol. Still more Zoenette October to come
