Sorry for the decision. It's been hard because of writer's block but I decided not to continue it, but rewrite it. Now the story of Gwen and her companions stuck in a new era will be renewed, and now more emotional and thematic than ever. I guess this will be my second chance to write this story. Welcome to Second Chances: Rewritten.
The scene opens up to a dark living room. The starless night sky and a monsoon only helps to darken the mood of the sight of an event. A tween girl was seen kneeling in the middle of the room. Along with the brown hair and black night gown, the girl was covered in blood. Lots of it.
"Haa… ha… ha…" The girl exhales audibly with a mixture of stress, anger and fear.
The girl had a pencil drenched in blood within her grasp. As she tries to gather her thoughts and emotions, we see two bloodied bodies in front of her. The first body was of a younger boy, covered in heavy bruises and cuts but still alive. The second one was of an adult male dressed in the fashion of a burglar, with numerous stab wounds seen directly on his chest.
"Aaron!" An adult female barges into the living room with another adult male.
The two gasp at the bloodied sight before them. The woman directly runs at the injured boy as she hurriedly checks the severity of the injuries.
"Oh, Aaron… he's okay, but he's out cold." The woman sighs in relief.
"Honey, call the cops." The man says.
"Alright." The woman agrees.
While the woman takes out her phone to call for help, the man, on the other hand, approaches the girl with concern as he tries to figure out what had happened. He knelt down and held the face of the girl as she stared blankly.
"Gwen… what happened here?" The man asked.
The young Gwen looks down at the pencil while absorbing what she did. She stares at the dead body of the robber, then to her father. Putting the pieces together, the father frowned solemnly.
"Sweetie… you…" The father realises what his daughter had done.
Seeing the frown on his face, Gwen fully understood the weight of the situation. She broke down sobbing, knowing full well what she had done that night. Something she had never thought she'd do at a young age.
Chapter 1: Displacement Hypothesis
It was dizzy. The first thing Gwen felt as she woke up was a mixture of dizziness and a migraine. Not just that, but it was cold, colder than any winters Canada's climate can ever throw at her.
"W-what… huh?" Gwen slowly opened up her eyes in a daze.
It has been some time since the incident. Gwen was now in her early adulthood and has been through a lot. With the incredibly mentally exhausting challenges Total Drama had to offer, she almost felt hatred in thinking this might be another ploy of Chris Mclean.
"Man… fucking dammit, Chris." Gwen groans as she grows frustrated at the situation.
While thinking of punching Chris in the face, Gwen reaches around due to her sight being blurry and disoriented. She immediately finds something wrong.
"Huh?" Gwen tenses up as she manages to get her sight focused.
Gwen manages to figure out her situation. She finds herself trapped in a large human sized container. Hard metal was under her, and glass fogged up by the cold directly above her.
"Oh what the…" Gwen tenses up some more. "Damn Chris. He already knows I'm claustrophobic, but adding some xenophobia by putting me in something technological? Fucking bastard!"
In a fit of panic, Gwen begins to bang her hands onto the glass. Suddenly, the glass opens up, and a mechanism ejects her out of the pod.
"Woah!" Gwen yelled out.
She lands back first on what felt like a metal floor. While dazed, she tries to set herself upwards. As she manages to get herself out of the daze, the first thing she sees is…
"SHE'S AWAKE!" A soldier yelled out directly in front of her.
Startled by this yell, Gwen jumps up in a panic. She notices the soldier wasn't wearing the usual outfits that militaries give to their soldiers. Despite having the standard camouflage color scheme, it looks like a tight fitting jumpsuit with various utilities on the chest, legs and arms. The helmet was also odd as well, with strange shaped visors glowing blue.
"What?" Gwen was confused by this.
Immediately, a bunch of other soldiers appear and surround her, rifles in hand. Gwen immediately raises her arms in self defense, knowing that antagonizing them will be bad.
"Commander Blisk! The subject is still alive!" One of the soldiers yelled out. "Don't move!"
Gwen begins to look around in confusion as she tries to figure out what was going on. She notices the surrounding area. A large metal storage facility that seems to be underground, but a large hole was seen leading to the outside, seemingly worn down by weathering. The soldiers that have occupied the facility had been delving into the area pretty recently.
"Um… alright. I know I might get threatened if I so much as fucking breathe in the wrong direction." Gwen says. "But where exactly am I?"
Some of the soldiers were ready to yell at her for not following orders, but a hand raised in the crowd of soldiers, signalling them to calm down.
"Cool your bickering ya bastards." The person whose hand was raised called out. "Don't consider her a threat or asset of sorts."
The soldiers heard this and made way for the person seemingly in charge of the operation. A man nearing old age of African descent, with short white hair and sideburns that grow into a beard. He wore a white uniform without sleeves, with some crimson designs and finishings.
"Sorry for the inconvenience." The man apologises. "I suppose if we hadn't found this facility, you would probably still be asleep."
"Asleep?" Gwen was confused by the statement. "Hold on, you are not Chris Mclean's lackeys?"
"I don't have any clue who that is." The man continues. "But of course I have to introduce myself. My name is Kuben Blisk."
"Kuben Blisk, huh?" Gwen takes in the information. "So, mind telling me how I got into this shithole I ended up sleeping in?"
"Alright. Come with me." Blisk says.
Gwen follows Blisk to a side of the storage facility where a couple tents were set up, along with a table and some chairs.
"So, how recently did you find this facility?" Gwen asked.
"Just a few days ago. A couple mudslides helped unearth this place, and some of my men decided to explore it." Blisk explains. "That's how we found the pods you were so happily sleeping in."
"Hold on. Pods, as in plural?" Gwen asked.
"Yeah, a whole lot stored in this storage facility." Blisk explains. "After looking through the files here, something very interesting popped up."
The two sit down on the table, and the two get comfortable.
"And?" Gwen asks to continue.
"Look, girl. I don't really know how to put it lightly." Blisk sighs. "But… you have been asleep for… 700 years."
After a bit of a pause, Gwen snickers audibly. Blisk was slightly taken aback by this as the snicke turned to a chuckle.
"Hehehehehehehe…" Gwen had to stop laughing. "Did you seriously come to my face saying something that magnificently absurd?"
But Blisk kept a straight face, and Gwen noticed this.
"Oh… you're serious, are you?" Gwen's expression turned soft.
"Of course. And I expected that you might not believe me at first." Blisk says.
Blisk takes out a cigarette pack and lights one up for himself.
"You smoke?" Blisk asked.
"No, no I don't." Gwen frowned. "What made you believe that I slept for… centuries?"
Seeing her face slowly turning sad and worried, Blisk sighs.
"Well, it's not really a blind assumption. A lot of the knowledge I have about this comes from this." Blisk explains as he pulls out a USB drive.
Blisk inserts the USB drive into an unknown device and throws it onto the table in front of them. Suddenly, a hologram appears above it, but it seems to not have a form yet.
"A… real hologram. Huh." Gwen frowns as the hologram further confirms the point Blisk was talking about.
Gwen reaches her hand out and phases it through the hologram.
"I'm guessing you need time before you watch the recording?" Blisk states.
"No. Play it." Gwen says as she retracts her hand.
Blisk activates the device and the shape of the hologram begins to shape itself into a humanoid figure. It slowly formed the frame, then the clothes, then the facial features. It slowly became a figure that Gwen knew all too well…
"Scarlet!" Gwen quickly stood up in recognising the figure. "That bastard!"
"You know her?" Blisk asked.
"Where are the other pods?!" Gwen demanded.
"They were next to your own pod. Look back there." Blisk states.
Gwen immediately bolts to the pod she was ejected from and goes for the pod next to it. Some soldiers noticed this, but Blisk stopped them from acting.
She reaches the first pod and immediately wipes the foggy glass cover.
"Oh… shit…" Gwen gasps at the sight.
Suddenly, some gunshots were heard from behind. Gwen turns around and sees that the soldiers were firing at something coming through the opening on the wall.
"Prowlers! Prowlers breaching through!" A soldier yelled out.
Gwen quickly relocated to where Blisk was as he walked to where he can see the opening. As the soldiers continued to fire, Gwen can see what were the things entering the facility. Large human sized, quadrupedal animals with scaly skin. The primary color is red, with blue stripes lining the back. There were four yellow eyes and a large, canine-like mouth.
"Didn't I tell someone to activate a repulsor as we set up camp?!" Blisk asked.
"I'm on it!" A soldier stepped up and grabbed a device.
"Well, everyone else stop the pack from getting through! The repulsor is tedious work to activate!" Blisk yelled.
The surrounding soldiers in the area begin to gather near the opening to stop the pack entering.
"Man, hopefully whoever forgot to set the repulsor gets at least injured by this incident." Blisk squeezes his temples in annoyance.
"What are these things?" Gwen asked.
"Oh, those? Just an invasive species becoming a problem." Blisk says. "Now we wouldn't have this problem if someone had just set the repulsor."
"Hmm." Gwen frowns.
"Well, you better get somewhere safe." Blisk says.
"No. I think I have a plan." Gwen states.
Gwen goes for the pods again and immediately opens one. The glass cover swings open and a figure is revealed through the mist. The figure was still asleep, with his thumb stuck in his mouth. But now isn't the time to sleep, because Gwen needs…
"Chef Hatchet. And he's sucking his thumb at a time like this." Gwen sighed. "I never thought I'd do this, but here we go."
Gwen tries to slap Chef in the face to try and get him awake. But try as she might, she couldn't get the brute to wake up.
"Fuck. This is getting ridiculous." Gwen groans.
"Ngh… strawberries don't go well with blackberries… ya shitheads." Chef muttered.
"Gah, well here's another attempt." Gwen sighs. "Oh no, Owen has raided the kitchen and has eaten half the refrigerator."
"Get that fat kid out of the kitchen!" Chef jolts awake on hearing this.
"Oh, Chef, glad you're awake!" Gwen sighs with relief.
"Gwen? Why are you disturbing my sleep time?!" Chef demanded. "And why are you in my bedroom in the first place?!"
"Agh, if you haven't figured this out, this isn't your fucking bedroom." Gwen states. "Look around and you'll see that-"
Some screaming was heard that startled the two. They turn to see that a Prowler had already grabbed one of the soldiers by the arm and was thrashing him around.
"Gah! Oh gosh! Ah!" The soldier yelled out in pain.
"Oh shit! This bad? Alright, I better step in." Chef says.
Suddenly, Chef pulls out a small knife from nowhere and throws it at the Prowler. The knife hits the beast straight into its left eyes.
"Kaaaah!" The Prowler growled in pain.
In pain, the Prowler lets go of the soldier, freeing him from what would have been a broken bone or ruptured artery.
"Where'd you pull that out?" Gwen asked.
"I always keep a knife on me. Always." Chef says. "It's self defence. Learn it."
Chef approaches the attacked soldier as he sat up tending to his wounds.
"You did well, soldier. Let me handle this." Chef salutes the injured.
"Hold… on… you are not authorized…" The soldier groans.
"Am I?" Chef smirked.
"Look out!" Gwen yelled out.
A Prowler was mid flight, happily on its way to eat Chef. But suddenly…
Chef pulls a pistol and shoots the beast in the roof of its mouth, killing it instantly. He looks back and begins to giggle.
"It's good to be back in the game." Chef circles his neck. "Stand back everyone."
As the Prowlers continue to enter the facility to attack, Chef begins an onslaught. With only single shots, he precisely hits the Prowlers in the eyes, killing them instantly.
"Impressive." Blisk claps at how Chef was handling the situation.
"Hmm, so those stories about being an old soldier were true." Gwen states.
Having only the Prowlers in the opening, Chef takes out a grenade and throws it. The grenade explodes, killing the last remaining Prowlers trying to enter.
Chef looks back, cracking his back bones like a chiropractor, blows into the nozzle of the gun like an action hero, and smirks.
"How's that for authorization?" Chef delivers a cheesy one-liner.
"Hmph. Outstanding." Blisk states.
"I knew I wasn't rusty." Chef says. "Now if whoever put me in that pod is here, I'd like to have a word with him."
"Unfortunately, Chef. The answer is… complicated, to say the least." Gwen states.
"Well why exactly am I here? I'm sure that guy with the sideburns can explain." Chef says.
"Of course. I've never seen a grunt with the same skill calibre as you." Blisk states. "Is the repulsor already set up?"
"Just a little more." The soldier who was fixing the device yelled out.
"Then I guess we're safe for now." Gwen says. "Now to finally get some answers."
Suddenly, a large arm stuck out of the opening and swung at the soldiers nearby, knocking them out. Some roaring sounds echo from the opening.
"What was that?" Chef asked.
"A Goliath! A Goliath is breaking through!" Another soldier yelled out.
"A Goliath?" Gwen asked.
"Great. As if Prowlers weren't bad enough, a Goliath managed to follow the pack into this place." Blisk groans. "Hand me a rifle."
A soldier grabs a large rifle and hands it over to Blisk.
"Let's finish this before it can get out of hand." Blisk cocks the rifle.
Blisk and the soldiers begin to fire at the arm of the Goliath to try and ward it off. The bullets were only causing shallow wounds, but the Goliath's arm goes to rip a large piece of the metal wall and uses it to block the gun fire.
"Um… quick question. How smart are Goliaths?" Gwen asked.
"Eh, almost ape-like. These things are quick problem solvers." Blisk says. "But this, this is surprising."
While the soldiers were busy with the Goliath, some more Prowlers appeared. The new pack was using the Goliath's arm to jump at the soldiers.
"Incoming!" The soldiers begin to panic.
Before the possible ensuing chaos, the Goliath sticks its other hand out of the wall and pulls itself out. It was a sight to behold for Gwen and Chef. A large behemoth of a mammal almost twice the size of a human, the Goliath was a large and muscular beast with the stance of a gorilla. The skin was scaly, and it had four eyes. There were two horns in its nose and a horn pointing downwards on each side of its face.
"Graaaaaaaaahh!" The Goliath let out a massive roar.
"Okay, that is big." Gwen was worried about the danger the beast posed.
The Goliath begins to look around for anything to kill, then notices the soldier trying to activate the repulsor.
"Shit. It's after the repulsor!" Blisk exclaims.
Before anyone can do anything, the Goliath grabs the soldier and throws him against the wall, killing him instantly. Gwen then freezes at the sight, beginning to hyperventilate due to the pressure.
"Hey, Gwen. You okay?" Chef asked, noticing her frightened demeanor.
"Not now, we have to get the repulsor!" Blisk orders.
Blisk begins to fire at the Goliath's face to distract it, and grabs the repulsor device.
"Raaaaahhh!" Chef let out a battle cry.
The Goliath swings at Chef, who manages to dodge and slice its arm with his knife.
"Don't fuck with me homeboy!" Chef yelled out.
Suddenly, the Goliath swings its arm so quickly that Chef couldn't react. He gets launched across the facility, crashing into the pod he was sleeping in.
"I stand corrected… looks like I am the homeboy…" Chef groans before passing out.
"Chef?" Gwen quickly snapped out of her fear.
The sheer force of the crash moved three of the nearest pods. Their glass covers open up and the people inside get ejected out, all three piling up in the same location. Gwen notices this, and gasps.
"Courtney?! Heather?! Duncan?!" Gwen exclaimed. "Shit!"
Seeing her fellow ex-contestants exposed to the Prowlers, Gwen quickly runs towards them. But two Prowlers quickly intercept her path and approach her.
"Ah, shit." Gwen groans.
As Gwen backs up from the beasts, she feels something bumping into her foot. She looks down and spots a rifle that someone had dropped.
"Jackpot!" Gwen smiles.
The Prowlers jump at her, but she quickly grabs the gun and rolls away. She tries to use the gun, but one of the Prowlers takes her by surprise and tries to bite her.
"Shit!" Gwen yells as she holds out the rifle to protect herself.
The Prowler bites down into the rifle and breaks it as it tries to get Gwen. But something lights up within the gun and it begins to beep.
"That can't be good." Gwen exclaims, knowing what might happen.
Using her legs, Gwen pushes the rifle and the Prowler away from her. The rifle blows up a bit, stunning the Prowler enough for Gwen to get up and escape.
Gwen runs to her three companions beginning to wake up. All three of them begin to shiver from the cold.
"F-fuck. My head is freezing." Courtney groans while rubbing her forehead.
"Courtney?! What are you doing in my bedroom?!" Heather asked.
"Um, I'm the one who should be asking that question!" Courtney asked. "I'd never snuck into someone's bed, not since I was 7!"
"Man, unless 'Bed' is a new nickname you're giving me, please get off…" Duncan groaned as the two girls were crushing him from above.
"Duncan?!" Heather exclaimed. "What is going on here?!"
"Guys! Are you okay?!" Gwen asked.
"Gwen?! What is this?!" Heather asked.
"Listen, I need you guys to get up and follow me!" Gwen says.
More growling sounds were heard as the four looked to where a Prowler was approaching them.
"What is that?!" Courtney exclaimed.
"No time to ask. I'll distract him. Get up and fucking move!" Gwen yelled.
This needed no explanation, and the three quickly got up despite their fatigue and quickly ran behind the pods for cover.
"Man, if I wasn't informed of the situation first, I would at least be the one in cover." Gwen groaned.
Gwen jumped to Chef's pod and threw his unconscious body out of it.
"Hey! Ya big dingus! Over here!" Gwen yelled.
The Prowler pounces at its prey. Gwen jumps out of the pod and closes it just as the beast's head enters, leaving it stuck, unable to leave the pod.
"Alright, now to get the burly chef behind cover." Gwen sighs with relief.
Gwen begins to pull Chef's unconscious body by the legs. She makes her way to where her companions were, hiding from the chaos.
"Alright. We should be safe for the time being." Gwen says. "Do not open the pods or else you'll put more people in danger."
"Hold on! What is going on here?!" Duncan asked.
"We'll be informed of the situation later, but now we just have to stay alive so we can find out what the fuck is going on here." Gwen states.
"And the best way to do that is wait here?! Nuh-uh. No way!" Heather protested. "I'm gonna get out of here, and if you don't want to follow me, it's your funeral!"
Heather quickly bolts towards the opening of the facility. The three were just stunmed by this bold move, not bothering to follow her.
"Well, that is if you get attacked by weird creatures along the way, then it's your funeral." Duncan raised his eyebrow at this.
"Of course, Heather is thinking only of herself as usual." Courtney rolled her eyes at this.
"And you're not bothering to get her?" Gwen asked
"As I said. It's her funeral." Duncan states.
"Ugh! I just can't catch a break." Gwen groans from the frustration this was causing. "I'll be right back."
Gwen sprints as she follows Heather through the chaos happening. Suddenly, Heather gets cornered by a Prowler as she was running.
"Gah! Don't even think about it you animal!" Heather yelled. "Get away from me!"
Seeing this, Gwen grabs a metal pipe on the ground and begins to aim for a throw.
"Do I want to hit Heather for trying to leave us alone? Yes. Is it necessary? I wish." Gwen groans. "And… now!"
Gwen throws the pipe in a boomerang style as the Prowler approaches Heather. The beast opens its mouth to attack, but the pipe lands perfectly inside, holding the Prowler's mouth wide open.
"Huh?!" Heather exclaims from the ordeal.
"What the fuck were you thinking, Heather?!" Gwen says.
"I'm thinking about surviving, duh?!" Heather tries to counter the argument. "It's dangerous to be here!"
"It's even more dangerous to try and run outside!" Gwen yelled. "I don't want anyone here to die on my watch!"
"And are you ready to do what it takes?" Heather asked. "Are you ready to die to protect them?!"
This question catches Gwen off guard. She pauses for a bit, and Heather begins to walk away.
"That's what I thought." Heather says. "And if you're wondering, I am ready for the consequences of leaving you losers to die. It's better to bear that weight than being dead, after all."
Heather sprints towards the opening, and the soldiers weren't able to notice this dangerous act.
Suddenly, more Prowlers begin entering through the opening, and block Heather's way out.
"Oh… shit…" Heather was worried about this approach. "Get away from me!"
The Prowlers pounce at her when suddenly, Gwen jumps from behind and shoves Heather backwards to avoid her getting pounced on.
"I may be saving you, but I'm still gonna savor that shove." Gwen says. "Now get back to the others. This might get messy.
"Ugh! You're so annoying, dammit!" Heather yelled.
Heather stood up and ran to where the others were as Gwen turned to the Prowlers.
"Alright, come at me assholes!" Gwen grabs the attention of the Prowlers and begins to run away.
As Gwen leads the Prowlers away from her companions so that the trained soldiers can handle them, we see Heather returning to where Duncan, Courtney and Chef were hiding out.
"Huh. Looks like you changed your mind. Did the funeral prices scare you?" Duncan asked.
"Shut it you fucking delinquent!" Heather yelled. "You're lying to yourself if you say we shouldn't get out of this place."
"Even if we decided that, you just had to go off on your own!" Courtney yelled.
"Like you wouldn't do the same! As if you know a thing or two about this." Heather yelled.
"Hey! If you guys stop arguing, you will realise that Gwen is pulling all her weight to make sure we're safe!" Duncan yelled.
"And why do you care?! You're sitting your ass here as well!" Heather yelled.
"I was just getting to that! I'm gonna go out and help Gwen to make sure you two sissies are safe twiddling your fingers here!" Duncan begins to get cocky with his wording.
Suddenly, the girls gasp in fear, and Duncan didn't think much of it until some stomping sounds and growling were heard behind him, and Duncan dropped his poker face in fear.
"It's right behind me isn't it." Duncan whimpered.
Duncan turned around as the Goliath lets out a hearty and violent roar.
We then see Gwen back to back with a soldier shooting the Prowlers she was luring, while looking out for any more Prowlers that may approach.
"Man, these things are literally everywhere!" The soldier yelled out.
"And judging by the name of the device, I'm guessing the repulsor drives out these things by a sound of sorts?" Gwen asked.
"Don't ask me! There might be a technical engineer in this squad, but I don't know!" The soldier states.
Eventually, no Prowlers were seen surrounding the two, giving them time to breathe.
"Hey, thanks for watching my back." The soldier says. "You're brave, kid."
"Just… not now, okay? There are still Prowlers entering the facility." Gwen says.
"Oh yeah, right." The soldier says. "Alright! Commander Blisk! How's the progress on the repulsor?"
The two then saw what was going on. Blisk was seen firing at a pack of Prowlers all focused on him. He was focused well, but he couldn't activate the repulsor, which was lying down on the ground.
"Grab the repulsor!" Blisk yelled. "I'll handle the Prowlers!"
"Okay! We're coming!" Gwen yelled.
Some more screaming was heard, and Gwen turned to see Duncan, Courtney and Heather being chased by the Goliath.
"Someone! Help us!" Courtney yelled.
"Hold on! I'll get them!" The soldier says.
"No! You help your commander." Gwen says. "I'll try to handle the Goliath."
"Wait! No! It's too dangerous!" The soldier yelled on hearing this.
But Gwen didn't want to listen to this, and began to run to her friends. She picks up a rifle on the ground, and begins to fire at the Goliath.
"Look over here, big guy!" Gwen yelled. "Haaaaaaaaaa!"
As Gwen lets out a sort of battle cry, the Goliath gets annoyed by this and turns its attention to the girl.
"Grrraaaaaghh!" The Goliath roared out.
"Gwen! What are you doing?!" Courtney asked.
"I'm doing what I can!" Gwen yelled. "Heather! If something happens, I hope that you shut your fucking mouth about this!"
Gwen walks closer to the beast in order to grab its attention further. The Goliath blocks the fire as it makes its way towards her. When suddenly, the worst thing to happen in the situation happens. Bullets stop firing.
"Oh shit!" Gwen yelled out.
The Goliath swings its arms and makes contact, creating a loud shockwave that shook her three companions. Though Gwen didn't fly back, the sheer force of impact told them all they need to know.
"Gwen!" Duncan yelled.
"Gwen!" Courtney yelled.
"Man… just… shit…" Heather says solemnly.
"Alright. No holding back!" Duncan yelled. "If you don't want to face this, you'll be facing guilt for the rest of your lives!"
"No! Duncan! What stupidity is in your head right now?!" Courtney asked.
"It isn't stupidity!" Duncan yelled. "If you haven't learnt the word 'resolve', then don't bother trying to argue!"
Suddenly, the Goliath made a strange sound and tilted its head in confusion. Heather notices this and grabs the attention of the others.
"Guys." Heather calls out. "What's it doing?"
As the three continue to watch, they notice the strange reactions coming from the Goliath. Suddenly, the beast's arm began to move upwards. But not by the Goliath, by someone else…
"Hehehehehe…" Gwen was seen lifting the massive arm away from her. "I guess I got scared over nothing. That was weak."
Seeing this, the Goliath let out another swing, but immediately gets parried, leaving its chest wide open for attack.
"Some nerve you have for attacking my friends like that." Gwen says. "Now, I'll make sure to end this before anyone gets hurt."
Before the Goliath can recover from the parry, Gwen lands a powerful elbow strike on its chest, sending it backwards.
The Goliath held its chest in pain, and the three were astounded by the sight. Gwen also noticed the increase in strength, and smirks.
"I don't know what's happening, but I am not gonna question it." Gwen states. "Get to a safe place guys. I'll handle this."
As Gwen pulled a fighting stance, her fists began to vibrate, glowing blue.
Once again, I am sorry for the decision of rewriting this, but I have a knack for thinking of plots and changes.
